Equestria Girls: Fight of the Fashions
The sound of a rooster echoed off into the fields of Sweet Apple Acres as sunrise approached. Big MacIntosh, being the first one to awaken, got up and dragged himself down the stairs to get himself awake for the day.
He had a big day today. He was going to see how Aqua Flower and her sisters were doing, then go back and do the field work.
The sound of hooves could be heard as Big MacIntosh walked into the kitchen. He grabbed his harness and put it on as he got his oatmeal ready. Not long after, his younger sister Applejack came clopping down the stairs.
"Mornin' Big Mac." Applejack yawned, getting her breakfast ready also.
"Mornin'." Was all he replied.
After their breakfasts were ready, they sat down and ate. Applejack ate fast, as usual but today, she was going to see if Twilight came back. Applejack always got her hopes up WAY too high, every single time.
Applejack gobbled down her breakfast, then she set her bowl in the sink. She ran upstairs to get ready for the day. Meanwhile, Big MacIntosh copied her sister, only more slowly and more casual.
As Big MacIntosh trotted upstairs, fully awake, his sister zooms down the stairs and heads out the door, not even saying goodbye. Big MacIntosh simply ignored her as he continued to trotted to the bathroom.
There, he saw his youngest sister, Apple bloom, trying on some new bows.
"Hey sis. How's it going?" Big MacIntosh greeted his youngest sister.
Apple bloom sighed, "I don't know. I wanna try somethin' new but I don't know what I should do." Apple bloom complained.
Big MacIntosh soon had memories back when he used to foalsit Aqua Flower, Art Shine, and Diamond Wings.
"Hey Big Mac, can you braid my mane for me? You always do it sooo pretty!" Aqua Flower asked.
"Sure, always a pleasure." Big Mac replied. Aqua Flower sat down on the stool in the family room of the barn like home. Big Mac sat on the stool behind the stool Aqua Flower was sitting upon, and started braiding her beautiful, glossy dark blue and bold pink mane.
"Uh, Big brother?" Apple bloom asked, in reality.
"Huh? Oh sorry sis, just lost in my memories." Big MacIntosh confessed.
"Like what?" Apple bloom asked.
"Well, back when you were a foal, I used t' braid Aqua Flower's mane and tail. She always loved it. She thought that it was the most prettiest thing she had eva' seen." Big MacIntosh explained.
"Oh, that's cool! Can you try it on me?" Apple bloom asked. "Please?!" Apple bloom begged.
"Hey, ya don't need t' beg. I'm always happy t' braid my youngest siblins' mane and tail." Big MacIntosh told his young sister. She sat down on the chair that was in the bathroom. Big MacIntosh lowered the seat, being an old barber's chair. He then started braiding his sister's mane and tail.
Big MacIntosh was finished braiding and was picking out the perfect bow color when Applejack came back.
"Twilight came back!" She hollered. Big MacIntosh almost fell from the shock. Luckily, he caught himself just in time.
"Hi Big Mac. Spending quality time with your sister I see?" Twilight Sparkle concluded.
"Eyup." Big MacIntosh replied. He looked at all the colored bows Apple bloom had. Then, he found the perfect one. He pinned it into his sisters hair as she would normally do it.
"There." Big MacIntosh told his sister. Applejack came up to see the grand unveiling.
Apple bloom had her lustrous combed mane and tail braided beautifully and neatly, with a fall orange bow where her rosy violet red bow usually was.
"I love it! Thank you Big MacIntosh!" Apple bloom cried out, hugging her big brother.
"No problem." Was all he replied.
"Do you like it?" Apple bloom asked Twilight Sparkle and Applejack.
"I love it! It looks really good on you." Twilight complimented.
"Why my oh my sis! You look like a beauty queen!" Applejack complimented.
"Really? Thank you!" Apple bloom replied, rushing out the door, grabbing her cape. She closed the door behind her.
"Well, I gotta go see how Aqua's doin'." Big MacIntosh said.
Aqua Flower and her sisters were living in a small cul-de-sac just right off the perimeters of Sweet Apple Acres. Big MacIntosh would stop by for company every day.
"Alright big brother. See ya soon." Applejack called out.
"Bye." Big MacIntosh called out in response, closing the dark pinkish red door.
As Big MacIntosh strolled in the apple field, he thought of what he would chat about with his friends.
Y'know, I think Aqua Flower is startin' t' like more than a friend... Big MacIntosh thought to himself. Nah, what am I thinkin'? I'm only thinkin' that cause I like her more than a friend... Big MacIntosh argued with himself. He was already there when he got to the cul-de-sac. He knocked on the door
Nopony answered it.
He knocked again. This time, the door slowly opened, inviting him to the lackluster cul-de-sac. Big MacIntosh slowly crept in, unsure of what happened.
"Hello?" Big MacIntosh called out. Nothing but his voice echoed around the small house. There, he saw a desk full of fabric, gems, and welding tools.
Aqua Flower was working on some jewelry lately, and she would always ask Big MacIntosh his opinion. He always loved the way it sparkled in the sunlight. Her necklaces were choker like necklaces with the band being black velvet. Three of them had an aqua blue gem in the middle and three had a ruby red gem in the middle.
Big MacIntosh slowly trotted to the wooden desk to see an empty box, which was meant for the necklaces. There were two hair bands that looked old and were a dark blue color, just like the sisters' mane's.
It didn't take long for Big MacIntosh to realise what had happened. When he figured it out, he yanked his harness off and ran to Twilight's castle, where the portal was.
They were kidnapped.
