Discord, disorientated, fell out of the tree and landed on his back. Fluttershy who was feeding some animals nearby heard the crash and galloped over to see what the commotion was about. As she got closer she heard a moan and saw Discord, with his eyes closed, gripping his head. Fluttershy shook her head and approached the draconequus.

“Discord are you alright?” Fluttershy asked.

He shook his head and opened his eyes slowly. The sight he saw was gorgeous. He saw a pegasus, but not any pegasus, Fluttershy. The beautiful, wonderful mare whom he loved with all his- Wait a minute. Why was he thinking this, he liked Flutters, yes, but way was he saying, thinking, love? Then he looked back at her and knew why.

She was practically glowing with the way the sunlight was hitting her. Her buttermilk coat was shiny and freshly washed along with her adorable pink mane and tail. Her eyes sparkled like the stars at night and she was smiling, very slightly but still beautifully. She reached her hoof down and touched his head to check for any bruises hidden in his mane, fur, and horn/antler.

She asked again “Are you ok?”

Her voice was as soft as her touch. He nodded a yes and sat up slowly. She was moving her hoof away, but Discord grabbed it before she could take it away fully. She shivered at his touch, they were good friends but they never held hoofs/hands. He pulled her closer, and he had no idea why.

“Yes Fluttershy,” he said in a suave voice “I am”

“Well that’s good” she said trying not to react too much to the close distance in between them.

He leaned in closer and said slowly “Fluttershy did I ever tell you I love you..” he shook his head and quickly said “r mane!”

He backed away, while still on the ground, ‘What was I about to say!!!!’ he thought to himself

‘What is wrong with him’ the yellow pegasus thought as well ‘he has never acted that way, not even with a prank’

They locked eyes with each other and blushed simultaneously. Discord got up, brushed himself off and said in his most steady tone “Well it was nice visiting you, my dear, but I must be off” And with that he was gone.

Fluttershy, who was still a bit stunned, also got up and walked back to her cottage wearing a small smile.

Brain, who had seen it all from a limb on a tree, chuckled to herself. ‘That was interesting, either this potion doesn’t have a lasting effect or Dissy was just too strong’ Then she jumped down, careful not to disturb any animals and ran to her tree house, in the Everfree.
