Brony to Pony

"The time has come, who do you choose."

A voice asked from seemingly nowhere as I opened my eyes to see myself floating in an empty dark world with a single light shining in the distance constantly changing it's color.

The voice repeated the phrase once again but with a little more force into it "The time has come who do you choose!"

After long pause the light began to fade "You have one more day!" Said the voice "If you do not decide by tomorrow I will choose for you!"

I suddenly awoke back in my own bed in my own room and looked around a little frightened as the warm morning sunlight shined through the window "One more day....." I said recalling my dream "I've had that same dream for seven days, that voice asks me who I choose, but I can't talk and then says I only have an always decreasing number of days." I sat up and began getting out of my pajamas and into some real clothes.

My name is Danny, 18 years old, in my senior year of highschool, and living in the basement of his parents house. I love anime, manga, video games, and I really like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic though i'm still a bit embarassed to tell people I like the show so much.

I finished getting dressed as I walked up the stares only to get hit in the face by a pillow which caught me by surprise and sent me tumbling back down the stares "Ow!" I yelled as I hit my head on the hard wood flooring "You ok?" shouted Ashley one of my 4 younger sisters "Yeah I'm fine.." I said as I got up and headed upstairs hearing one of my other sisters, Isabell arguing with Mom while another of my sisters Ana seemingly screams for no reason and runs to tell Dad that yet another of my sisters, Angel, had hit her. My day had just started and I already have a headache.

I run out to catch the bus and have yet another bland day at school, I'm not exactly popular or smart so I'm just your basic run of the mill students.I don't really have friends, and even when I try to be friendly people tend to shun me because I'm not "cool". I always thought I could make it without friends, I mean I love My Little Pony but their is no way I could make friends like they did..., then I messed up big time..... I was in the locker room with a group of guys when somone asked me what my ideal girl was and I flat out openly without thinking said Twilight Sparkle, at first they just kinda stared not understanding who that was and I thought I could save myself by faking it but then one of the guys looks her up on his phone and shouts out " It's a Pony!" as he along with everyone else laughs. 'Stupid stupid Danny, their goes your reputation, now everyone knows you like ponies and even worse they think you have a thing for horses.....' I thought on the way home

as evidently  the rumor already spread and people seemed to stay far away on the bus. I finally get home walk into the house and walks downstairs to the basement, my room, ignoring all of the continuing screaming and hollering of this morning. "AAAAAAAAAAAH!" I screamed into my pillowand began crying "I will never be accepted.... I will never be loved .....i'm so empty"I continued crying until I started drifting off to sleep.

"The time has come, who do you choose!"

It was that same dream again ... but this time something changed...I moved my mouth and words came out echoing into the emptiness of this world "Twilight Sparkle"

the voice then answered "The time has come and you have chosen, come tomorrow and the you of the past will be no more, by next dawn you will take on your new form!"

and it all went black.

The next morning I awoke, a Saturday just like any other but as I got up I noticed something, my body felt different, and I could see my hair,..... wait, no my hair was brown but this is purple with a lighter purple and pink streak , like Twilight's hair

I reached up to brush it away only to see my hands have been replaced by purple hooves, I couldn't believe my eyes as I quickly looked over my body realizing I had transformed into the exact replica of Twilight, I wanted to scream but nothing would come out, probably because of the pure shock of transforming overnight from human to unicorn "Wha-what on earth happened!" I said out loud in my new female voice, It then occurred to me, not only am I now a unicorn but i'm also a girl, how do I explain this what do I do?!

just then i hear shouting from upstairs calling me to eat breakfast, I look into the mirror still in shock then turns and walks towards the door and trys to grab the knob....but then I remember I now have hooves... and can no longer turn the knob with my hands...."If only I could open the door with my hands" I said still not believing this situation and expecting this dream to end. Then suddenly it sparked I was now THE Twilight Sparkle, and that means that I must have her magic! I concentrated on the door knob as my horn started to glow, it was harder then I thought it would be but still I did it! "I think I could get used to that....." I said taking a look at my handiwork, "Ok that's it for a while I'll be stuck like this until I can find a way to turn back so I might as well make the best of it ... I mean i'm in the body of the girl of my dreams, literally, what could possibly go wrong?" I had just finished saying those infamous words as Dad began walking down the stares.... I am so bucked.
