Chapter 2: I am...

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

I was walking through the castle, I had just finished doing some work. It was like any other day, raise the sun, breakfast, royal duties, lunch. Usually it would be more royal duties but I was interrupted.

"Tia?" I heard my sister calling me from somewhere in the castle.

"Luna? Where are you?"

"Over here," my sister walked towards me. "Sister, we have a problem..."

"What is the matter?"

"There has been a disturbance in the flow of magic recently, It was faint, but it was still present. Shall we look into it?"

"We should look into it, send a few guards to find the source of the disturbance."

"Yes sister," with that she flew off to do what I had told her.

"Hopefully it is not anything dangerous," I muttered to myself before resuming my earlier tasks

I open my eyes, a nice short rest... Wait a minute, it's night time, that's weird. I stand up and stretch, the bones in my body clicking and I then deadpan. A blank facial expression, a little like Maud, I look around, It's a nice little meadow, flowers illuminated by the beautiful moonlight. I sigh and begin to walk forward, I don't know where to, but It was a start.

I was strolling through the little meadow when the sun was peaking over the horizon, the beauty was... Exhilarating, it made me crack a light smile, I also saw a cross between the light of the moon and the sun. It was for just a brief second, but it was a great one at that. My hands went into my pocket, I felt something. It was my phone. "Wait... If I have my phone then," I threw off my bag and searched through it. Just my luck, my bluetooth speaker and my headphones were in there. "Oh frabjous day, kalluh kallay," I thought to myself. I put in my headphones and listened to music while I walked. I looked at my phone battery, it read 87% left. "That should be plenty battery," I thought, I traveled on. Not to far away there was a town, it had a weird aroma radiating from it. Getting stronger with each step closer, I was curious so I continued still.

"Guards!" I boomed, Tia had given me clear instructions on my task. Though it would be a little difficult. "I need a few of you to investigate for me, Captain Armor."

"Yes princess?"

"Go with them, use your magical abilities to find the source of the disturbance of magic, It wont be hard to find."

He stayed quiet for a little with his eyes closed and his horn glowing. "Found it, we'll look into it. Guards! With me,"

They walked out of the castle, heads high, ego soaring. "Let it not be dangerous,"

It didn't take too much sleuthing to find out I was in Equestria, I kinda figured that when I walked into the empty streets of Ponyville. I guess all those Fimfiction stories of ending up in Ponyville were right, that weird aroma... I got one last whiff of it before it just disappeared, and as if on cue I heard the opening of doors and the heads of colourful ponies popped out. But, problem was, they were all mares, not a single stallion, and they were all staring into my soul. I stared back, I froze, they flooded out of their homes and walked towards me, all houses apart from one, my only hope. I ran for the second time, trying to flank them, goddamn bad idea!

They all piled over me covering me, I knew what was happening. It was spring, and these mares, they're in season!

"I AM FUCKED!" I yelled before being overtaken.
