They felt like they had been shut for days. As I opened them I tried to sit up by my back was so sore that I couldn't. After a few tries I finally was able to sit up. I studied the area around myself and realized that I was in a grassy meadow. In front of me was a patch of purple and yellow flowers. A monarch butterfly sat upon one of them, sucking the vital nectars that were so very important in its survival. As the butterfly began to lift of, it came toward me. I held out my hand for it to come and land on, and to my surprise, it did. As it landed on my hand I noticed something strange. My hand was Gray and didn't have any fingers. I quickly brought it in close to my face. As I studied it I realized that it wasn't a hand but a- a hoof? ~~~ My mind was still hazy from what had happened earlier. I went back to sleep hoping that I would just wake up in my bed, but to no avail. From what I could see I was in fact a pegasus. I had a brown mane and tail and wings!Wings! In my mind I repeated   I am 19 years old. I am a University student studying engineering. For what seemed like half an hour I repeated this in my head until finally I felt a tap on my shoulder. I must have jumped 10 feet into the air. As I slowly turned around, what I saw confirmed my thoughts. A purple unicorn looked me straight in the eye. "Hello, stranger. My name is Twilight Sparkle. I am a student under Princess Celestia. Who might you be?" she said I just stared into her eyes not believing what I just heard. How on earth, or equestria as it were, is she here. How am I here?!. Twilight looked at me with a confused glare. "Uhh, are you okay? You appear confused." Still sitting there I managed to spit out "H- He- Hello?" Twilight sat down next to me. "Why are you so near the everfree forest at this time? You do know that monsters come into this field during the night, right?" "Y- Yeah" I studdered "can I crash at your place for the night? I am very very confused. I shoul- I cant be here." "By the forest? I mean it's your descion to be out here but-" I cut her off "Can I tell you when we get back to your place?" "Sure thing- whats your name? I forgot to ask." Twilight stared into my eyes with seriousness."My name is Noah" ~~~ As the door opened Twilight said"Welcome to my treehouse-library." I sat in awe. The tree house looked exactly like it did in the show. Spike walked down the stairs and said "Hey twilight, I found- Who is..." "This is Noah, spike, he needed to talk to me and I told him he could come here for the night." Okay I thought is the rest of the mane 6 in town also? I am monumentally condused right now. Having watched the show for both seasons I had a rough idea of what ponyville looked like. But still how am I here. "So" Twilight said "I'm going to let you stay here for the night, but you have to explain to me what is going on." "Well, I'm not quite sure. It was like I went to bed last night and then woke up here in Equestria." I said. "Wait, so you're not from equestria?" "No" I said. "Oh, no. My spell... I'm so sorry" Said twilight. "You should'nt be here." ~~~ After talking with Twilight for about an hour she explained everything that had happened. Apparently a spell went haywire when she tried to bring one of the characters from her books to life. Spike fell down the stairs and tripped her, sending the spell out of the window and into the sky. That's the explanations that she gave me. I found it hard to believe but, I'm here now so I guess it's true. Twilight said that it could be a major problem, with me being turned into a colt and all, and there may be no way to get me back to earth as a human. This was a major tragedy and gift. Tragedy because I might not be able to see my family again. The News back on earth would just say I dissipated and will not be found. There may be a way to contact my family though. At least that's what Twilight told me. I hope there is because now, I sit alone in the spare room, lonely already and longing fr my life back on earth. As I lay in my sorrow, a monarch butterfly comes down to rest on my windowsill. I look at it and remember that this is not only the end of my life on earth, but the start of a new life here in equestria. I just hope my life here is as good as my other life. Hope. Thanks to the monarch. ~~~ "Your'e new here! I love new people! I need to throw you a party! Party! I have my cannon-" "Pinkie!" Applejack exclaimed. "Oh sorry. What's your name again? You didn't tell me yet! What is-" "My name is Noah." I said. "Noah? Noah! That's a cool name!" Pinkie exclaimed, eyes wide with amazement. "Umm... Hi Noah... I'm Fluttershy" the shy pegasus said in a hushed quiet voice. "I heard you were, ummm... new" "Yeah, long story" I said. ~~~ "So can you fly?" The rainbow mane pegasus known as Rainbow Dash asked. " I don't really know I haven't really tried." I said laying out the truth. Rainbow Dash's mouth slumped open. "Wh- How- a fully grown pegasus that hasn't ever used his wings" She said under her breath. "Well, there's no better time than now" she said, looking brave. "Ri- r-r-right now?!" I said nervously. "Well, yeah! Lets do this!" she yelled. I lifted up my wings awkwardly and Dash looked at me with a disappointed look. "No like this!" she came over and lifted my wings up. "Gah!" I exclaimed. "Oh, like that?" I looked behind me and saw two fully outstretched wings. "O- Okay. Now what?" I said, not noticing that I was already in the air. "Come on! You can do it! I believe in you! YEAH!" Rarity yelled. We all looked at her. "Woohoo..." She said quieter. As dash took me through the basic ways of flying, a monarch butterfly flew in front of me distracting me. "Look OUT!!!" Rainbow dash yelled. Before I knew it I was on the ground holding my leg. Wailing in pain.
