I sometimes wonder what life would be like if I wasn’t alive. I mean I am always being pushed around and always getting saved. Hell
everypony practically hates me seeing as I am a weak earth pony. Every time I go out it’s always “Hey look its everypony’s favorite punching bag” or “Look at poor Zack. He has no friends. Why don’t you do yourself a favor and kill yourself? It would save everypony’s time from having to deal with you.” I would always cry myself to sleep every night thinking of killing myself but I have
yet to do so. The only pony that I am friends with is Ditzy but she can be...Well let’s just say clumsy for the sake of argument. *Sigh* I look around to see I needed to get food. I grabbed my bag and started to walk towards the door but as I open the door Ditzy shows up.
“Hey there.” She said happily.
“Hey Ditzy...” I said depressed.
She may be clumsy but at least she cares about me.
“What’s wrong?” She asked.
I didn’t really want to talk to her right now but since she
was here I might as well.
“Nothing. Don’t worry about it.” I told her.
I tend to keep to myself so I don’t worry her.
“I was planning on going out to get muffins you want to join me?” She asked.
I sighed but I nodded and went along with her. We keep
walking and the Ditzy asked,
“So what do you have planned tomorrow?”
To be honest I had nothing to do so I said,
“Nothing that I know of why?”
“Well I wanted to take you to see the Wonder Bolts.” She said smiling.
I’m not going to lie I would like to see them but I felt too depressed to go and plus I didn’t want to deal with anypony else right now.
“I would love to but how in Equestia would I get there?” I asked.
Ditzy looked at me with a surprise look and said,
“Oh... Opps I guess I didn’t take that into account sorry.” She said laughing.
I smiled but only a little and she seem to notice. She looked at me worried but it was kind of hard to tell however I’ve known her long enough to tell when she’s worried. My smile faded into a frown and she asked,
“Are you sure? You seem down,”
I didn’t know what to say. I do care but I just have a hard time with others and I don’t want to put her in a situation.
“Look I’m fine ok? I just I’m not in the mood.” I said storming off.
I heard her call my name but I didn’t look back. I just kept running not knowing where I was going or where I would end up I just knew that I would be away from everypony. I stopped running only to end up lost in a
forest. I looked around and I grew scared of this place. I sat down and just stared at the forest but seeing as I
don’t know where I am I thought of sleeping here for a little bit then returning back home.

I woke up and I saw that I was surrounded by a pack of Timberwolves. I started to run but I fell and hurt my leg. They were about to attack but somepony showed up. It was Ditzy and she threw a couple of rocks causing them to run away.
“Are you ok?” She asked hugging me.
“Yea... thanks for saving me,” I said sadly.
I started to feel more depressed. Why am I always being saved by her? Why am I so weak and defenseless? I wanted to scream and run again but I sprain my leg so I couldn’t.
“How did you find me?” I asked.
She keeps looking around and I asked her,
“So why did you come looking for me? I’m useless and weak to you and anypony else. You should just leave me here so I don’t bother anypony else.”
Ditzy looked at me and saw I was sad. She put her hoof on my back and smiled.
“You’re not weak. Not to me or anypony else so don’t go thinking that of yourself.” She said still smiling.
If she knew how I really felt and saw what I went though she wouldn’t be saying that. Then again I blame myself for not saying anything. I couldn’t argue with her and I wasn’t exactly right here so I just shut up and let her help me out. We walked back and she helped me to the couch.
“Thanks.” I said.
Ditzy just smiled and sat down.
“You need anything?” She asked.
I didn’t say anything but I shook my head. I heard the door and noticed she left. I started to cry after she left. I don’t know why I
couldn’t help her or anypony else. I was really depressed and I feel asleep.

I wake up to the sunlight in my face. I rubbed my eyes and got out of bed. I looked around and saw a muffin on the table. I just started at it thinking how it got there. I rub my eyes again and realized of course the first pony that came to mine was Ditzy.
“Thanks.” I said calmly.
I got up and went towards it. I ate the muffin and went to my fridge and realized that I never got any food yesterday due to me being
stupid and running off. *Sigh* I should go and apologize to her for putting her thought all that. I went to grab my bag and left. I walk to Ponyville and see that everypony was in line. I passed by the line but I bumped into somepony and fell back.
“Sorry.” I said.
I looked up to the pony I bumped into. He levitated me up and said,
“Watch where you going loser.”
I looked at him and saw that he had mane covering his eyes so I couldn’t see what eye color he had.
“Hey look it the same loser from before.” He said dully.
I realize that voice and said,
“Jack?”
He smirked and threw me down. I grabbed my arm and tried to stand up but he used his magic to keep me pined.
“Let me go.” I said.
He laughed and said,
“Na. I think I’ll just toy with you.” He said laughing.
He steps closer to me and looked at me. I saw two other ponies show up and they started to hit me. I tried to get up but I was getting
being pinned down from the magic and I couldn’t move or block. I felt like I was going to pass out but another pony showed up and stood up to them. I tried to speak but nothing came out but I saw that he fought them. I couldn’t keep my vision and I passed out.

Next thing I knew I was in the hospital. I saw the same pony that stood up to them and I also saw Ditzy.
“You ok?” She asked.
I nodded and looked over to the pony.
“Thanks.” I said.
He looked at Ditzy and looked at me.
“So you’re Zack the pony who my sister told me about. Well its pleasure to meet you.” He said putting a hoof out.
I nodded and said,
“Yea but who are you?”
He smiled and said,
“Well my name’s Doctor Whooves. It’s a good thing Ditzy came to me when she did or it might have been worse.”
I sighed as again I‘m completely useless in a fight. I look back at Ditzy and nodded to show I was thankful for her helping out. She smiled and I look back at Whooves and said,
“I don’t mean to sound rude or ungrateful but why you save me? You didn’t know me. I could have just been another pony to you.”
He laughed and I frowned when he did. He stopped laughing and said,
“Well I couldn’t just leave anypony hurt plus you mean a lot to my sister so of course I would help you.”
I changed my frown to a smile when he said that. Maybe not everypony is bad but I still felt alone in all this even hearing that.
“I’m sorry but visiting time is over.” The Nurse said.
Whooves nodded and said,
“Ok come on Ditzy. I’ll come back tomorrow and see how you’re feeling and I’ll bring some food for you. I know the food here may not suit you.
The Nurse frowned but didn’t say anything. I saw them leave and then asked,
“So how long will I be in here?”
She ignored my question and left. *Sigh* Great even the nurse hates me. Oh well at least I can relax without any worry so I looked at
the moon and fell asleep.

I wake up and saw food next to me. One look was enough to know I wouldn’t like it so I didn’t touch it. I felt sick and I didn’t know when they would show up so I say screw it and grabbed the food and was about to eat it but Whooves and Ditzy showed up. I dropped the food and smiled.
“Hey there.” I said smirking.
“Hey.” Ditzy said smiling.
Whooves put the food next to me and I quickly grabbed it and ate it.
“Thanks.” I said after finishing it.
He smiled and sat down.
“So how long will I be in here?” I asked.
He shrugged witch pretty much says he didn’t know. I sighed and saw Ditzy just looking outside and seem to be sad.
“You ok there?” I asked.
She turned around and smiled.
“Yea I’m fine. Why you ask?” She said curiously.
She was hiding something but I couldn't put my hoof on what. I try to think what could be the problem and I just relized something. Of course today she was going to take me to see the Wonderbolts today.
"That's right you were going to take me to see the Wonderbolts! But because of my stupidity we missed it. Sorry..." I said depressed.
She just smiled and said,
"It's ok. We can always see them later i'm more concerned about you then the Wonderbolts."
How she could be so optimistic is beyond me but i still felt bad about making her miss her chance to see the Wonderblots. I look at Whooves and ask,
"I don't mean to be rude but could you give us a minute?"
