Bonus Chapter One: A Lost Soul at Work

It was cold. I could feel myself shivering in the dark. Why did I feel so cold if I was dead? Then I saw a light on the far end of a tunnel. I stood up and walked towards it. Then I felt something grab my legs. I turned my head and looked at the ground. I saw darkness closing around me. I opened my mouth to scream but no sound came out. The darkness crawled up my legs and it felt warm. Even though I was caught in the shadows that were consuming me, I kept fighting. Then it got to my waist and I could hear words. "Join us. We miss you Dashie," the shadows said," we want you to come back to us. Please don't go." I could see faces in the darkness. Sound Board's and Gilda's were the ones I recognized. Their eyes were filled with tears and their mouths were a void. They kept chanting join us as the darkness reached my chest. I started pulling at it but instead it started traveling up my arms. I felt so comfortable now. As if I had just crawled into a bed and covered myself with blankets. Then I remembered the point of me struggling. To become free from this horror that was engulfing me. I started moving, taking painful step after painful step towards the light. "No you can't go Dashie. We need you, and so does it. You are going to be it so that we may call it her and call you it," the shadows said as I could feel them pulling on me. I was almost there, just a few more feet. Then I felt the darkness reach my neck and it started pulling even harder. My jaw was soon consumed as my hand reached out straining against the shadows. Then I saw nothing and I started hearing words. "Welcome home Master Dash," the darkness said as I was greeted with a bright light. I heard children screaming with delight and cheering me on. I had the sudden urge to say four words that sounded so stupid coming from my mouth.

"Hello boys and girls," I said upon instinct. I was alive and that was all that mattered. Because that meant I could find Twilight and kill her. I could get revenge on them all.

It was a dark cold November night. I was admiring my past works and playing with a few of my abilities. I knew that I wasn't who I was anymore. Then I heard screaming and knew that my toys had gotten hold of the night guard. I started towards the parts and service room. It was good to hear screams. I moved down a hall and the screaming stopped. Then from another hallway I saw the most beautiful daughter I could ever have adopted. Scootaloo, all grown up, ran down the hall with a mask on. She was running towards me and I could finally hug her. Instead she stopped and stared at me with anger. I didn't understand so I reached out to touch her to give her some idea it was me. But I knew it wouldn't be possible so I pet her on the mask with the most gentle touch my hand could deliver. Then I knew what I needed to do. I needed to get her out of here. But at the same time i wanted her to stay. I wanted her to join the others so badly. But I knew she couldn't. She had a life to live. So I pointed towards the main party room and said," leave." Then I went  towards the parts and service room. There was work that needed to be done. I entered the room and saw the smashed head and then I noticed a missing animatronic. Rarity. Rarity wasn't here and that wasn't good. So I left the room and headed towards where I had sent her. She wasn't in the office but she was nearby. Rarity was finally becoming free from her shackles. I crawled into the vent and found Rarity in the furnace. Her soul screaming in the heat. She looked out at me and her eyes teared up with the tears she couldn't shed.

"Rainbow Dash help me please. We're friends remember," Rarity screamed as she tried to remove herself from the animatronic.

"You're funny Rarity. To bad you're just a piece of junk now," I laughed as I stared at her burning animatronic's body. She was encased in the animatronic through her own heart. Once it became ashes she would be free. So I left her to scream as I went back to my box. It wasn't that bad. Losing one friend isn't that bad. I moved down the vent and back to my little home of horrors that sat in plain sight. Scootaloo was gone now and I felt at piece. Then there came screeches and a loud bang as a wall was smacked against. Then there came muffled yelling and screeching. It suddenly stopped and I opened my box. There was Sweetiebelle and she was covered in wires. She looked exhausted and she looked very angry. Then I saw Scootaloo again and I left my box and moved towards her once more. Once again the urge to keep her with me forever came back. I pet her hair and looked at her. Then I pointed to the exit and said," leave. Now." I moved once again towards the parts and service room only to get knocked back by Applejack as she burst through the door. She threw me to the side as she jumped on a table. I grabbed her by the neck and pulled her down to the ground. Only to be grabbed by the head and thrown against a wall. I became dazed and stared as Applejack started attacking Sweetiebelle. Scootaloo ran into the other room again and came out with the mask on and a sign in her hand. I knew who that sign belongs to. It was Pinkie's. I could hear her crying from where her remains lied. Then I heard a bang and looked back at Applejack. Her whole animatronic's head was missing and it dropped to the floor. She was free. I could see her soul as it freed itself from it's shackles and looked at me.

"Why Rainbow why did ya have ta be a bitch about it," Applejack said as her soul disappeared. Then I saw what had happened to Sweetiebelle. Her whole neck had been crushed by Applejack. I enjoyed it when the living was killed by the dead. There was somethings so fantastic about it. I didn't know why but it just was. Scootaloo then grabbed Applejack's animatronic and dragged it into the back room. I went over and picked up Sweetiebelle's body and took it to the parts and service. A new toy to replace the old one. I dropped Sweetiebelle next to a suit, it was the yellow bear. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife from the drawer. Then I returned to the parts and service room and started removing Sweetiebelle's head. As I was cutting the last few muscles I heard the door open behind me. I turned around just as I cut the last muscle to see Scootaloo run out of the room. She still wasn't gone. Why wasn't she away from here. I could feel the urge to add her to my toys so that I could keep her forever. It was stronger than before and I didn't like it. I needed to get her out before it was to late. So I entered the hall and followed her. I stopped her and grabbed her by the hand. Then I felt a yank on my arm as I was forcefully turned around just in time to see a make shift shield smash against my face. It happened repeatedly and I could feel the pain. I started crying but another sound escaped my mouth. Laughter mixed with crying as I dropped to the floor and looked at Scootaloo. "Scootaloo I told you to leave. why didn't you listen to me," I asked.

"I wanted revenge. Revenge on all the animatronics for killing you but you're alive so we can finally--"

"No Scootaloo i'm not alive. I'm more dead than anything," I said as I got on my feet.

"Then how are you here," Scootaloo asked as she hugged me, tears rolled down her cheeks and I just couldn't resist the urge to make her pain all go away. Forever and ever.

"I'm here because i'm stuck and you will be to. We'll be the best of friends forever and ever," I laughed as I gripped Scootaloo's neck. I lifted Scootaloo by the neck and allowed her to dangle for a second.

"Rainbow what are you doing," Scootaloo said as my grip tightened around her neck.

"Making an old friend new," I laughed as I snapped Scootaloo's neck. She fell limp and I  took out the knife. I cut her head off and pulled out her heart. It was still beating and that was awesome. I took the head and went to the manager's office. From there I hung it from the ceiling and returned to her body. I took the body to the parts and service room. I opened the door and threw the body inside. "Here you go boys and girls. Fresh off the market," I yelled. Then I returned to my box and crawled inside. I put another drawing on my wall. A drawing of my little Scootaloo. Stuck with me forever and ever. I set the heart next to a book and glasses, stetson hat, a lock of bright pink hair, a cupcake, and a necklace. Sweet memories now lost to the tests of time.
