Girls, where are you? Where are my darlings? Why haven’t you saved me yet? You could have come in by yourselves. Twilight could have just teleported in and teleported me out, just like she did from the Crystal Empire itself. Or Applejack and Rainbow Dash are fast and strong enough. Run in, grab me, run out, just like two weeks ago. And Fluttershy, ~~she could have~~

She couldn’t have. None of them could have. Twilight had her magic. Flutters was at the edge of the empire, and Rainbow Dash and Applejack were fast enough. I simply wasn’t fast enough. I stood too long watching the terror around me. And when you dropped in front of me and came out of the smoke, what did I do? I stood in horror.

I I won’t blame all of you. I am just so scared. Time goes by so slowly and food comes so rarely. I am afraid I am going mad and only the hope that you will come back and save me keeps me sane.

The guard won’t stop smiling. How can he possibly smile as he reads this?
