Long before the time of Equestria as a unified nation, pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies were locked in an endless struggle. Centuries predating the first Hearth's Warming Eve, the whispers of racism and insurgency culminated into a brutal conflict that raged for decades.

These are vignettes and major battles in the Equestrian Civil War, preserved so that such tragedy would never again befall the peaceful land.
