Twilight Sparkle was still trying to make sense of today's events. One minute everything was fine, the next, Ponyville was in ruins. And now, the only was to fix all of this is to blindly put faith into a pony, whom until today, she thought was normal. Time Turner proved to be anything but. The earth pony claims that a powerful unknown entity was destroying the universe, and it started on it's place of creation: Equestria. Twilight isn't trusting him yet, with his talks of time travel and beyond, but he is her only chance to achieve her one goal in mind: stop today from ever happening.
