Life on canterlot high went to normal after battle of the bands events as the students were busy doing their routine activities around school. Pretty much when battle of the band started things get really chaotic as students fight among themself in order to see who is the best and who will win during the battle of the bands. These plot were been planned by the sirens as they absorb all the negative energy at every canterlot high students in order to restore their original powers. But things change as the human mane 5 alongside the reform sunset shimmer and princess twilight arrival manage to end their plans with the new power they manage to gain, as a bonus sunset also become part of the elements to stop the sirens for good. With the sirens pendants destroyed they no longer have ability to sing like they used too.
Later on after the aftermath of battle of the bands the sirens were return and given a second chance by principal celestia as a punishment for brainwashing luna and herself, celestia given the sirens a 5 months detention for the stuff they did. Trixie on other hand were given a same punishment for sabotage the rainbooms performance given 8 months of detention which frustrated her more.
Life on canterlot pretty much went well and at the same time twilight and spike decide to stay here bit longer soo she can spend her time with her human friends and also spending time with flash too.
But unfortunetly one of their friend sunset shimmer have something to tell them. During the class sunset text messaging the girls along side with the sirens that she have something to tell them during lunch. After a while all of them were gather around to meet sunset shimmer, the sirens were generous enough to be given a second chance on the stunt they did during battle of the bands incident. As twilight and other gather around to meet sunset shimmer they pretty much wondering why sunset didnt tell them that she have a hidden secret in the first place plus she didnt tell them this during her reformation too.
"soo mind telling us sunset why you call all of us including the dazzling" rainbow dash asked, as her eyes focus on sunset shimmer for a minute before she shift her focus on the dazzling" and why you invite the dazzling too? you know what they did to us"
"i know rainbow dash" sunset said " but this is important that all of us should hear it, infact i been keeping this secret for soo long during my reformation that i didnt tell this to you all, i should tell but i felt like i should tell this when the time is right only and i felt today its the time i should tell you"
"sunset darling" rarity began " what is it soo important that you keep this secret from us? is it because you found something but you didnt wanna tell us? if so we must know it, after all we are your friends sunset shimmer" finshed rarity as she gaze look upon on the former bully who once mocking her fasion sense but since her reformation sunset pretty much like rarity work.
At the momment sunset were silent for awhile thinking a right word to say to her best friend except the sirens of course. While sunset was silent for a while, adagio decide to break those silent momments.
"look sunset shimmer, if this soo important tell us quick" began adagio" because i havent got all day you know"
Rainbow dash frowned " hey! if you wanted be hurry you can leave you know! "
" maybe i should rainbow crash!" replied adagio as she continued "infact you idiots wasting my time!"
"can we all just get along? "sonata replied as her focus look on rainbow dash and adagio as she continued " all i can see that you all wanted to fight i mean for equestria sake adagio enough is enough i dont wanna be mean anymore "
" for once i agree with sonata even shes the worst" aria said to the others as she continued " all we been do is fighting, if sunset having time thinking first let her be"
When aria finished, sunset was happy that the both of the sirens decide to support her even with adagio impatient outburst they still support her. After sunset done thinking she finally look at her friends and decide to spoke about it.
"ever wonder what happen to the other alternate version of myself i mean my human self? " sunset shimmer begins as her eyes focus on the other mane 6 and the sires as she continued on her story that she been hiding for a while " you see i found out what happen to her during my reformation days"
" soo what happen to her? tell us sunset " twilight said with eager of curostity on her voice as the others listen well on what she going to tell.
At the momment sunset stay silent again before her eyes look at the others with an serious expression on her face as she continued " she was dead when i began searching her wearabouts and i found out she was dead during the time when portal to equestria were open."
This brings a shocking revelation among the group as some of them were suprised and shocked at the same time when they found out, this world sunset shimmer appearently dead during the portal from equestria is open. Sunset then look at them again as she continued her story.
" that not just that girls, i found out how she died. " continued sunset " she died when trying to stop a group of teenager trying to summon a demon on canterlot park, when the demon were summon the teenager that bring that demon in this world immediatly take away their soul but not untill this world sunset manage to stop it. How she died is simple, she well...trying to seal the demon back but at the prize her body cant take too much of the dark magic that surging through her body, At the end she manage to seal the demon back before she died, her body fallen but not her soul however "
After she finished this immediatly brings confusing among the others. How sunset know this world sunset died and how she know this world sunset soul alive while her body didnt?, This question immediatly bring interest on princess twilight sparkle herself as she wanted to know how did sunset know all of this.
" so sunset care to tell us how you know the way she died? " asked twilight sparkle as her curosity grew more and more wanted know more on sunset shimmer story.
"well...." sunset began as she look down with a hint of worry on her face before her eyes focusing on the group again as she spoke again "you see....funny thing is i actually meet the ghost of this world sunset...shes the one who tell me all of this"
"what?!" rainbow dash exclaimed as she continued again " are you saying that this world sunset is a ghost now!? "
" ill tell you a story if it makes you feel undertanding" began sunset " the story like this girls "

" it was rainy days during my reformation, i manage to located where this world sunset was buried, and i manage to located her final resting place at canterlot cemetary at the south of the city. When i enter the cemetary after the school was done during that time i found her tombstone with the mark like my cutiemark is.

It was rainy day and sunset was soaking wet since she forgot to bring her umbrella, unfortunetly something weird happen during her visit in the cemetary watching this world sunset shimmer grave. While she was look at the tombstone, a voice spoken to her.
" you know...i been watching you for some times ever since you turn into that demon " a quite yet hearable voice spoken to sunset ears as sunset shimmer yelp in suprise at this. She look around who talking to her and found nobody as she began to get scared who was talking to her yet for some reason the voice that spoken to her is identical voice same as her. Then it hit as she figure it out who was talking to her right now.
Before she even continued, something menifest at this world sunset shimmer grave, as the menifestation began to took a shape slowly by slowly untill it become a ghost, sunset were getting scared on what she looking at now. She looking at this alternate human sunset except what horrified her that this sunset ghost have alot of blood all over her body, her face and even her clothes which is identical to hers. The ghost look at her with a sad and serious mixture of expression on her face as she spoke.
" well never thought you finally wanted to take interest about my demise " the sunset ghost began as she looking at equestrian sunset before continued again " i been wandering around the canterlot town for some quite awhile after my deaths, in the end my soul never get the rest i wanted as the spell im trying to used was give my soul a nasty side effect, eventually i cant no longer go to heaven and stranded in here "
"but why you still here? can you try something to break the curse? i mean it can be breakable right? " sunset ask the ghost sunset as she was concern if the spell that was been used this world sunset when she was alive have any solution on it. When the ghost sunset look at her she immediatly lower her head down in sadness and dispair.
"i tried but....but theres no solution on it, the curse was permenant, when i become a ghost and try to break the curse i found zero result" finished ghost sunset as she began looking at equestrian sunset with forming tears on her eyes even she was a ghost.
Sunset shimmer feel sorry for this sunset as she sacrifice herself for sake perventing the demon trying to escape from the world it came from, as a reslut this world sunset end up dying after using a powerfull spell which destroying her body but in that process the dark spells infected her soul causing her soul to live while her body didn't.
The equestrian sunset focus her gaze on the ghost sunset as she confront her, trying to cheer her up and give her a new hope in order to break the curse on her own soul during that tragic incident. " look i may have a soultion for your problems, but i must warned you it may take a while to find a powerfull spell to break the curse that infected your soul "
" h-how? this spell is unbreakable..i dunno what to do anymore " ghost sunset said, with a sadness on her tone " i-i mean how you possible find a powerfull spell that can break this curse upon me? " ghost sunset finshed as she look at equestrian sunset.
As the ghost sunset finished the equestrian sunset began " look im from another world but for now i cant tell the others about this first untill me and my friends were able to find a powerfull spell that can help break the curse on you " Sunset shimmer said as she continued again " the problem is finding the right spell is going to take a while however but for you, ill try to find the best solution i can to help you.
" really? f-for me? you would do that to help me? " ghost sunset said as tears began forming again at her eyes
the equestrian sunset smiles at her " of course ill do to anything to help you"
"t-thank you soo much it means alot to me" The ghost sunset said as she feel happy that this sunset going to help her and give her a hope that she needed soo she can undo this curse and finally able to rest in peace.
" look i have to go, we meet up again at canterlot high at midnight hows that? " the equestrian sunset ask the ghost sunset soo she and the ghost were able to discuss about the problems they were having.
As the ghost sunset was thinking she having a hard time figure out if she should reconsider planning to break this curse. After she finally finish thinking she look back at sunset and decide to make a decisions " alright we meet up at canterlot high at midnight, since im always roaming around this city after i was dead "
Equestrian sunset smiled as the ghost sunset dissapear infront of her. As usually she leave the cemetary later on while the rain began to pouring heavier than before, sunset have to think a plan to help this version of sunset soo she can rest in peace after they were able to break those curse that infected her soul.

"so you were saying you need our help to break this world sunset spirit curse? " rainbow dash said as she looked at her friend the equestrian sunset shimmer with disbelievd on her face " i mean you cant be serious right ?"
Sunset shimmer look at rainbow dash with a serious face on it " oh im serious alright we have to help her, she sacrifice herself just for sake saving this town from a terrible curse, its our jobs to help her in return if we gonna break those curse on her "
While sunset busy talking with rainbow dash, finally twilight decide a decisions about sunset problems regarding the story she just told to all of them " i make my decisions, we going to help her break the curse. Now i may going back to equestria to fetch some book spells in order to break this world susnet curse. You were right one thing, if it wasnt her sacrifice, this town is become dead by now "
" i agree on you twi, ah mean we all should help as well" applejack said as she continued " ah mean she done a noble thing to save this town soo ah guess its time for us to help her in return"
Rainbow dash on other hand finally decide to do something as well " if she going to help her then count me in, im ready to help anytime"
The sirens even agree to help as well, as the others make their decisions to help the ghost sunset to break the curse that infected her when she was alive. After the lunch, students on canterlot high began their next session of their class as the canterlot cafeteria become empty.
Theres a momment of scilence at the school cafeteria untill something menifest as the ghost of this world sunset appears with a smile on her face. The ghost sunset thinking herself that if she was alive she could have alot of friends she needed to help her, but when she died she never got those chance anymore since those incident. After awhile when the ghost of sunset shimmer finish thinking she remember something when she was alive. She never got a chance to meet up a crush on her life, it was suppost to be happen around when she was live if it wasnt the risk she take she could still alive by now.
"if only i was alive....i could still have a chance to talk to him " ghost sunset said with sad expression on her face as she look at the outside window " ...flash sentry...i hope we can meet one day again..." with the last one she spoken the ghost of this world sunset shimmer dissapear for a while, living with a curse inside her own soul.
