The Elements Of Harmony: 2014by CrystalSeekerChaptersPrologueChapter 1Chapter 2ProloguePrincess Celestia, beloved monarch of the pony race, ruler of Equestria, and the sister of Princess Luna. She was the most important pony in Equestria, and had great power, even over the Sun. She had the trust of Equis’s rulers, the love of her citizens, and even the throne. She had everything, but yet she still gave out a soft and sad sigh. She has been alive for over five thousand years, and remembers every soul that she knew and lost over those years. One of her favorite memories were of the Mane Six, and how much happiness and harmony they brought to Equestria… yet now it feels like that was all for nothing, because now the world was far more corrupted than it was before. Greed and Money feuled the corruption, and ponies kept finding ways to NOT help others. However, she also knew that there were few, no matter how little their numbers were, some ponies that held the same ideals as the Mane Six, but they just need somepony to lead them. She would herself, but she knows she wouldn’t be enough, they needed heroes, they needed new ponies to hold the Elements of Harmony, and truly hold that element in their heart. They needed a new Mane Six. Celestia continued to write down her signature on one of the many pieces of paper she had, and her eyebrows only furrowed when she heard the sound of the her bedroom doors opening. She glanced up from her work, and saw her sister, Luna, who smiled at her and trotted in, sitting down in one of the many chairs while speaking. “Tia, how are you doing today?” Celestia smiled in response. “I am doing fine, Luna, simply finishing this paperwork.” Luna nodded as she looked around the room, expecting to find something new, and succeeded when she saw a stack of papers on the floor. “What might those be?” Celestia looked down at the papers, and stayed silent for a moment, then sighed. “These are dossiers, dossiers of ponies that could possibly… take up the Elements.” Luna sighed as well. “Tia, we’ve been searching for centuries, who could have been the best choices now?” This made Celestia pick up the stack of papers, all the while smiling. “The top six are the ones who’d fit the bill well.” She then sat one down, and began reading it. “Bright Night Age: 24 Appearance: A dark blue unicorn with a lavender mane and tail. Cutie Mark: A single gold star, with five silver stars above them, and a set of magnums behind the gold star. Personality: Intelligent, quick, and very unsocial. Tends to freak out over things that are irrelevant to the current situation, and more relevant in future situations. Is also a little insane. Description: He’s been through a lot in his foalhood, so that’s been kept underwraps. He is a well trained scientist, and is quite good at defending himself, but still ends up in the hospital more than once a month. He has many enemies, and is quite good in magic from what this says.” Luna simply nodded, then looked at the others. “What about the other five elements?” Celestia smiled even moreso. “There is Hiccup Yellow: who would be considered the male version of Fluttershy, Jet Black: who is the male version of Rainbow Dash, Kelp Laughter: guess who he could replace, Halo Rings: A new version of Rarity, and finally AppleBucker: the great descendant of Applejack.” Luna raised an eyebrow as she looked at the pile of paper, then to Celestia. “Are they our best choices?” “Yes.” Luna nodded in response, then raised an eyebrow. “Where will we find these six?” “Two are in Manehatten, ones in Ponyville, and the other three are here in Canterlot.” After much silence, Luna sighed. “I pray that you are right, and these six are the real deal.” “I pray that I am right, too, Lulu.” Luna stood up at that. “We can’t do anything by simply standing here, we need to prepare for finding them.” Celestia nodded. “Yes, Lulu. Hopefully they’ll be found soon.” Chapter 1The eyes of a lone, dark blue unicorn opened up to the sound of his alarm clock going off. This made him groan and roll out of bed, hitting the alarm once he was out, and then trotted over to the bathroom. Once there, he took a quick shower, and got in front of the mirror, taking a look at himself. His lavender mane was a mess, and practically covered his face, obscuring his soft green irises. He had a simple stallion feature, that was for sure, and his horn seemed to be one single horn, instead of the usual spiral horns. He didn't think he looked too bad, but his mane said otherwise. So with a grunt, he grabbed a comb with his magic, and began to work on getting it somewhat neat. Once he finished, and could see himself again, he left the bathroom, and headed for the kitchen. He lived in an apartment, so it wasn't all that big, but he got used to it easily enough, since it gave him privacy. He didn't really like any crowds, or anypony who wanted to talk to him for that matter, but he kept it hidden well enough. After a quick bowl of cereal, and a quick glance at his list, he left the apartment, and headed into the city of Manehatten. The stallion soon stood in front of a bar, having already bought the needed groceries and sent them home, he wanted to get a quick drink of alcohol to help him relax, given all the ponies around him and the such. The bar was one of the smaller ones, but it had the best booze in all of Manehatten, which was saying something. It's so good, but it's the least known. Strange really. Once he took a step towards the bar, a pegasus with a pitch black coat, and a pitch black mane that held a red streak in it flew out the window, crashing harshly into the ground next to the first stallion, and started coughing. Just then a Gang Leader came out of the bar, a cigar in his mouth, and a couple muscle heads next to him. He was smiling as he spoke. "You better make sure to get us the money this time, or else we'll do worse than this." He then nodded to his guards. "We're done here." The two stallions watched as the Gangsters left the alley, and disappeared around the corner. The dark blue stallion looked down at the pitch black one, who coughed a couple times, before he offered his hoof. "Need some help?" The black coated stallion simply glanced at him, but shook his head as he got to his hooves. "Nah, those idiots didn't do that much damage, really all they did was get a lucky hit." The blue one nodded, staying silent for a while, then offered a small smile. "I'm Bright Night, you?" The pegasus shook his body a bit, small shards of glass falling out his feathers. "Jet Black, though most just call me JB." Bright Night nodded again, and motioned to the bar. "I got a few extra bits if you're interested in a drink." JB smiled, letting his wings furl up. "Sounds good, though I don't really talk much to new people." "Then we should get along swimmingly, because I don't talk most besides now." "The unsocial type, eh? Alright, I could live with that. What kind of alcohol are ya gettin'?" "Whiskey." "Ugh... I prefer Vodka personally." He got to his hooves. "Well, let's go, Silent Night, and get some drinks." Bright Night smiled back, and they headed into the bar. A lone, white unicorn stallion with a graying mane sighed slightly as he continued to craft one of his works in progress, which he calls Halos, rings that magically float above your head and kinda act like a GPS. They show you where your destination is, and where you think of going next. He just finished putting the last piece of when a lone yellow pegasus with a grey mane trotted in, and hiccuped before trotting over. The very sight of him made the unicorn speak. "Hey there, Hiccup, what can I do for you?" Hiccup did just that before clearing his throat. "I wanted to buy one of those Halos ponies keep talking about. You got any in storage?" "Just finished the first one, actually. Why?" "I need to find out where my dog is." "Did he get lost again?" Hiccup nodded. "Yeah, he keeps forgetting to stay with me. I think he likes getting lost." The unicorn nodded as he grabbed one of them. "Here, try this out and tell me how it works, I don't want them not working or the such." Hiccup nodded again. "Thanks, Halo." Halo smiled again. "No problem, we're friends, after all." They shared a quick hoofpound, then went their separate ways. A lone, orange coated stallion grunted as he pushed through the large fields of Sweet Apple Acres, the land that's yet to loose it's most wonderful apples in all of Equestria. The stallion continued to pull the plow through the ground, all the while seeds were put into the ground by great granny Apple. As the stallion pushed forward, a kelp green stallion hopped into view, and spoke as he saw the stallion. "Hey, AB, how're ya?" AB, grunted as he looked at him. "What do you want, Kelp?" Kelp chuckled as he continued to follow. "I wanted to know if there was anything to help with?" AB went pale slightly. "No, there isn't anything." "Why not?" "Remember what happened last time?" "What?" "You asked to feed the cows last time, and the next thing we knew, the barn was on fire. I don't think we need any help." "Come on! I could do a lot of help. Hold up." He stopped, and began kicking at his ear like a dog, causing a flea to fall out, and he went back to hoping. "Anyways, there got's to be something." "No, we're good." "Please?" "No, now don't ask again, or I'll have Big Hair toss you out of the orchard again." Kelp huffed in annoyance. "You're no fun." "And you're a dangerous psychopath. We don't need anymore of them, got enough back in Manehatten. Now go back to Canterlot, I'm sure they need your help more." Kelp huffed again and hopped for the exit. "Fine, I'll just build my own orchard, with blackjack and hookers." AB raised an eyebrow at him, but shook it off as he continued to work. Author's Note Here's Chapter 1. This is a big story I had in mind, and I hope it turns out good to you guys. Any form of criticism is welcome, just please don't be too harsh. Chapter 2Princess Celestia stops at a lone building that wasn't there in Canterlot before, making her raise an eyebrow as she looks at Luna. Luna simply gives a shrug, which causes Celestia to sigh heavily, and go in with Luna. And once inside, they're greeted to a massive in-door Apple Orchard, with a section used for blackjack while hookers danced on the tables. "...So... This... Green Kelp is in here?" "According to the witnesses, they saw a jumping green pony ridden with fleas enter this area and build a massive building, muttering something about an AB being proven wrong." "Uh-huh... And is That our pony?" They both see the green pony scratching at his ear, causing fleas to jump off, then jump back on, before he started gnawing on his flank. "...That's him." "He's... A Lot different than I expected." "Agreed." Celestia steps up to the stallion. "Excuse me, sir?" The pony looks as a sudden gout of blood shoots out his ear, making her yelp in surprise. He looks and hits the spot, suddenly making the blood stop. "Sorry, that happens once in a while. What can I help you with?" "U-U-U-Um... Y-Y-Yes... Well, you see..." She clears her throat awkwardly. "I would like for you to heard to Canterlot palace, I will be willing to explain there..." "Sorry, that's a no go." "Why not?" "Last time I tried to go in, I got a spear to the balls and a rock to the noggin. I'm good." "..." She looks at Luna. "How was I supposed to know?! The guards are the ones who deal with these things!" Celestia sighs heavily. "I'll make sure they let you in then." "Huh... Alright, sure. I'll go grab the Blackberry Moonshine!" He disappears with a cloud in his original place. "...What have I just done..." ======================================================================== Bright Light downs another drink as JB laughs. "And she said 'No way would I touch that, it's covered in shit!', so she used her magic to fling the thing right up the assholes-" Light raised a hoof. "I get the picture." He rubs his face slightly, then glances out the window, spotting some gangsters parking outside. "Got company." JB looks out the window. "Ah shit, they came back with some muscle..." "Hmm..." Light examines the situation, then gives a small smile. "Guess it's time, ladies." His horn glows as his coat flicks back in the invisible wind, revealing two .45 Shepard Magnums. He pulls them out as he gets down under the windows, all the while the barkeeper sighs. "And here we go again." He yanks out a double-barrel shotgun and gets under the other window. "I swear you do this once every two visits, Bright." "Well, I kinda enjoy the rush." "And that's what I'm worried about. Aren't you worried about your luck running out?" "Maybe someday, but today isn't the day." He stands up and fires off about 4 shots, causing four of the five ponies to fall over with bullet wounds in the head. "Headshot." He ducks as they open fire. JB had grabbed the unconscious royal guard's M1911, pulling the slide back with a hoof, then muttering a silent prayer before aiming. The gun suddenly begins to glow a holy golden light, before the pistol was replaced with a large magnum made of holy materials and glowed blue in the openings. Upon firing, the sound of a dragon's roar could be heard as a beam of blue energy shot out and blasted a gangster into nothingness. "Holy shit! How the hell did you do that?!" "I'm a Peacemaker." The barkeeper curses. "Damn it, why the hell is a Peacemaker here?! You guys are supposed to be highly elite soldiers working in the shadows for the temples!" "Let's just say I decided to go rogue for a bit, to find myself." He fires again, but misses the large one. "Shit, Bulldog incoming!" The large stallion barges in, covered head to toe in spray painted metal, carrying a battered up minigun he took from a military supply drop. "Hehehe..." JB aims the pistol. "Point blank range, you sexy mother fucking bastard." He fires, causing the giant to disintegrate into blue ash. Bright then takes out any stragglers, before standing up, blowing the smoke out of the barrels of his magnums, and holstering them. "Well, that went better than expected." The barkeeper nods, loading his shotgun. "Didn't have to shoot more than one idiot today." ====================================================================== AB lifts up a large log of wood as he moves through the treeline of the orchard, humming a soft tune before spotting a white stallion nearby with a Halo-GPS. "Huh, ain't that a sight..." He trots over. "'Scuse me sir, but are ya here for some ripe as rain Sweet Apple Acres apples?" He adjusts a pair of glasses he was wearing. "Possibly... A friend of mine chased his dog all the way here from Canterlot, was helping him find the guy." "A dog? I remember seeing a stray over at the chicken pen." "Oh shit, thanks!" He bolts that way, making AB follow after. Upon reaching the area, they spotted a lone stallion hiccuping as he petted his dog, all the while the chickens were hiding in the pen. "Ah horse buckers... The darn dog scared the chickens..." "Sorry, sir." He hiccups again. "He gets excited around birds." AB sighs and waves it off. "Ah forget it, just make sure to be more careful, alright?" He nods. "Sure." AB nods, then goes to check on the chickens. Author's Note And I have finally put out another chapter, sorry for the long wait.
