Element Corruption. Before the darkness

Twilight's whole body shook she was just crowned princess of magic and her friends were still by her side. Many nobles tried to convince her to move to there town mainly so there name meant more having a princess in town. Though she turned them all down and they started to say that she wasn't a true princess and she taints the royal line, Celestia instantly proclaimed that any noble who said that would lose there title. That was nice and even though she was invited to live in Canterlot but Twilight wanted to stay in Ponyville with her friends and stay in her tree home. No one argued with her, and this made her friends happy! And this meant that she wasn't going to change from the friend they new and loved.

one year later

Flash was coming, after running into each other he started to get closer to Twilight. At first she payed him no mind to him and was just irritated but over the next few months that she stayed in the Crystal Empire she gave him a chance. It was just one chance which he took and it flourished into something great! Now he was the leader of the new guard in Ponyville, and in the months she knew him she fell hard and fast. When he stepped off the train with others that joined, the look in his eyes was like nothing she ever saw. There was no shin in themit was like they were soleless, but as soon as he saw her it left, though Twilight felt like it was still there, she just shrugged it off. Flash took her hand and kissed it to say hello to her, at first it was cold then become warm. Twilight welcomed him and the others and took them to the barics that they were going to stay.

three years later

     She has been able to keep up with her new royal duties, with the help of Spike, and keep up with her new study's, yet somehow still saw her friends almost every day and sleep every night. Flash had gone to Canterlot on a training camp held every five years , for a year.  But he left her a gift, a necklace made of silver and had a ruby in the shape of a heart with silver and gold coming off of it like flames it rested just below the small of her neck. After she became a princess her bonds with her friends only grew stronger a few things did attack like Queen Chrysalis tried to invade again but they easily took her on trapping her and her subjects in a eternal shield that emanated love so they did starve. Twilight didn't want to kill them and this way they didn't actually need to escape they could be happy and healthy now. And discord is on there side now so hopefully no need to worry. It seamed that all the enemy's they had faced up to this point won't be a problem though that didn't mean a new problem won't arise. But when it comes they don't know they just have to be ready for when it dose.

two years later

     Twilight got some news today it surprised her at first, and now she's filled with joy, She and Flash were having a baby! How she found out she was reading and Rainbow had come and visited like she did every morning, and found Twilight sick and vary weak. Rainbow panicked and flew Twilight to the hospital. The doctor drew some blood for test and said that she should go home and rest, and that someone should stay with her. Rainbow said that she would move in to make sheer that Twilight was okay, Twilight said that she didn't need it but the doctor agreed, so Rainbow moved in. A few days later Flash joined the watch Twilight squad and Twilight was called to the hospital,there she found out she was pregnant! That day she told Flash and Rainbow and they were so happy the baby was the best news ever they couldn't wait. The next day she was with her friends and told them the news, and Pinky through a party that lasted all day. after words she went home with Rainbow and she found a note it said

dearest Twilight,

I had to attend another training, I'll see you in ten months.

Love, Flash.

     Twilight's heart sunk when she read this, Flash didn't say" no sorry my love is having a baby in six months can't go now". Rainbow put her hand on Twilight's shoulder "I don't think this guy deserves you." Rainbow words rung true for Twilight, she still loved him dearly but something always seemed wrong and it was pulling them apart and now this! This was the last straw!

"Rainbow you're right," tears stung in her eyes as she said this "I think that everything he and I had together is gone. By Celestia I... I don't think any of it was even there to begin with." Memory's flooded her, the memory's of the side of Flash that she wish she never seen " this isn't the first time he did something heartless. I swear he could kill someone without a second glance, and hurt thoughts he cares about even easier!"

Rainbow looked at her "wait did... did he hurt you?" Rainbow look for some marks on her arms.

"No. At least not directly." Twilight looked as though she was staring at something unseen "when he thought he was alone he through things around and looked through my stuff. I don't know why maybe jealousy paranoia, but I've had enough I'm done with him!"

"Here, here!!!" Rainbow shouted They laughed as they helped Spike close the library for the night. Spike looked at Twilight.

"Finally your leaving him, I knew it that you would. Ha! Rarity owes me ten gems."

     With that happy thought Rainbow went to bed in her borrowed room, and Twilight grabbed a book and went to read in her room. Outside it started to rain slowly and it gradually got harder but the sound was soothing and it lulled Twilight to sleep. Spike saw Twilight now asleep so he took the book and placed it to the side and put a blanket on her and turning out the lights he went to bed.

     On the edge of town three clocked people arrive in Ponyville with dark intentions.
