Eternal darkness endured in ubiquitical existence...
Equestria stood, desolate and cold, in an empty and lost universe to many. The world was but a distant, fragile planet among a sea of lonely stars. No redemption was visible for this home of many, not with the ground itself torn to pieces from a magic incomprehensible to most all of ponykind. Canterlot was seen in the far-off distance, tilting from the mountain it was situated from. Ponyville itself was cracked apart into endless ravines, and a dark haze flowed between them with no seeming start nor finish. The moon, once whole, was broken into two halves revolving around an unknown point in the sky. If there was a sun, it never shown. If there was any true light existent -- anywhere for that matter -- neither was that evident to be found.
This was meant to be a land of friendship. Gallantly, to this universe's luck, a margin of hope remained in the final decisions of three souls.
The first was of a heart of helping. A friend of ancient times had deceived him, and left him with nothing but lost memories. His grey beard swirled in the endless night, making him remember what evil he had once become. Yet, he stood, from the help of his friends, with a new-found color to his coat.
The second was of warmth and of caring. He stood on two legs, and had a great sense of hope for his son, one of ancient times. His expression was grim, but his heart drove his soul with a strength like no other to amend everything that is true.
The third was of an understanding heart, but helpless of the tragic events that have come to her friend. In the ancient times, this pink-coated mare could do nothing, and was forced to wait for a time of which a plan could be decided. The love in her heart was but futile in essence, and all that remained was what clung from distant memory.
“-But…. How do you know she will be able to take the truth? Something like this… it is immoral.” The grey-maned unicorn asked.
“I don’t know. All I can do is hope that she will have hope for herself…. and for us.” The pink pony replied.
“We are practically in another universe, what other choice do we have? I’d do anything for my child.” The two-legged creature added.
“….Well…. okay. As you said, it’s the only way. One way or another, we SHALL save Discord.” With that said, a spell was cast that would change the fate of the universe, create the destiny of a pony, and hope to save a tragedy yet to come. The ground rumbled, the sky spun, and darkness everywhere was saturated with a new light. A new world was remade, and with it came a hope to start anew.
And so, the story shall unfold...
