The legend of the vesper is sparsely known throughout the land, predating the very foundations of Equestria. It foretells a time when from dusk shall come a child of flesh, with a soul of darkness. When The Nightmare shall detach herself from the Lunar Alicorn, and instead gain her own body.

And Equestria will decay.

My name is Blue Moon. I was separated from my kin in Tall Tale after the Discord crisis, and, mistaken for a thestral, was sent to Hollow Shades by the refugee camp, caring for the traumatised and lost. Now, I am tasked with finding the threat, and destroying the Vesper before Equestria falls to it's knees, with those I trust most.

This is the tale of the fall of dusk.
