Prologue: How it Happened...
How did it happen? Well this is a story is one that will be remembered for centuries to come in Equestria, let's see... I guess I'll start from the beginning.
My name... is Dark Night, my old name from before then... I don't remember. When I was 9 I started watching a show in my old home called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. In my world I... was known as a brony, or a male who likes that 'girly' show as some put it. My parents were great and didn't mind that I liked that show... that was, until they died in a car accident, then when I was adopted by another two people whom I wouldn't even dare call my parents. When I told them I like that show, they put me in a schedule for a guidance counselor, because they thought something was wrong with me. From that day on, I vowed revenge on them so, I started to try to use magic while watching the show, and I had the ability to use magic. but not control it, same withe chaos magic, yeah that was hard to explain to my step-parents about that cotton candy cloud I made rain chocolate milk. Then I saw the episodes The Crystal Empire Part 1 & 2, and learned there was magic called dark magic. It was easier to conjure up and control compared to magic and chaos magic it is the ONLY magic I can use. Then I planned what I was going to do tomorrow, then had the perfect plan, and went to sleep. I woke up in my bed the next morning...
~Flashback~
~Location: Alex's House~
"ALEX! Time to wake up! You've got school today!" shouts a female voice.
"No I don't, not anymore. But I might well have my last breakfast with her around." Alex mumbles into his pillow, and gets up, gets dressed, and walks to the kitchen for breakfast.
In the kitchen there is a tall female around her late twenties early thirties, "Ah, you got up quicker and got dressed faster than I thought you would, good improvement, keep it up!" she says in a cheery tone.
"M-mom?" Alex says in a fake nervous tone, "Something's not right, I don't feel right."
But his mom doesn't seem to notice, and gets by his side as quick as a mom can, "What's wrong dear, are you sick?"
"I-it's not that I feel sick it's just... I don't feel or think like I used anymore..." as soon as he finishes that sentence his eyes change.
His mom, right there and then, easily notices that, "W-what's wrong with your eyes?"
"M-my eyes? What about my eyes?" he's asks in fake curiosity, while his hand starts to emit dark energy.
Then she notices his faking of his tone of voice, "What's going on? How are you doing this? Who are you?" she asks in a scared tone.
"To answer your questions," he says coldly, "right now, I'm controlling dark magic and able to change my form at will. Your next question, dark magic, and your last question... I'm your worst nightmare Miss Wilson. No longer am I the one whom you tried to manipulate and change, no longer am I that weakling that obeyed you, and I'M NO LONGER YOUR SON!" he says before making a sword out of dark magic, grabs it, and starts walking towards his mo- no, towards Ms. Wilson.
"No! Please stop! I'm sorry! We thought we were doing the right thing, trying to make sure you don't end up living under a rock, and we thought that you watching that show would do so..." Ms.Wilson says, then starts to cry.
He suddenly stops right in front of her, then looks at her with forgiving eyes. Then she looks up to see that look on his face and gives a small smile. Then he says, "Sorry." before bringing the sword up above his head, then straight down upon Ms. Wilson. Upon hitting her with his sword, she disintegrates, all that's left, is a pile of ash.
His sword vanishes from his hand and turns around to leave, but not without muttering, "Burn in Tartarus, you stupid excuse for a mother." with a smirk, while taking one step and teleporting at the same time. He reappears outside the house and takes a good look at it, "I've always hated this place" he says then snaps his fingers, and within seconds it is completely destroyed, you could even say it was demolished in 10 seconds flat. Satisfied by the destruction that happened he walks away from the now-destroyed house and has one thing in mind, getting himself to Equestria, then teleports again in mid-step.
~Location: ???
There is a flash of light, then a person is able to be seen, standing in front of an old run-down house, 'I'm home... mom and dad...' Alex thinks to himself. Alex then walks up to the house, tries to open the door to find it locked, "Go figure." he mutters to himself wondering where dad said the hidden house key was...
Then Alex remembers what his dad said and repeats what dad said to him, "The top right-hand corner of the door, behind the wooden decor." he says while floating himself to the top of the door and finds a, very well decorated, wooden part of the door that seems to be loose. "There you are." Alex says as he grabs the wooden block and pulls it out of the doorway, after removing the block, he sticks his hand inside the hole and feels something metallic touch his finger, grabs it and pulls out a key.
He then floats back to the ground and unlock the door and enters, closes the door behind him. He looks around of what he remembers to be the living room, "Seems no-one has bought it still. Which makes this plan even more perfect, no delays, nothing." he says as he walks towards the kitchen he remembers, oh-so-well. He stops in the middle of the kitchen then looks for something specific, then notices the corner of something wooden underneath the dining table and takes a look under. He finds a trapdoor, the one dad told him about, "So this is where it was... now I wonder how I didn't notice it sooner... eh... not something to worry about at the moment either, time to go down there." he says while opening the trapdoor.
When he opens the trapdoor, Alex notices how dark it is under the house, 'I wonder if there is a spell that will allow me to see better in the dark...' he thinks. Then he thinks of something he saw in a video game, "Dark Vision." he says and his eyes slightly change, nothing strange to see here. But what he sees is amazing! He can see all the bugs and rats in the house, he can see all the electrical wiring leading from one place to another, and he can see better in the dark as well. 'Now to get to work...' he says heading down into the dark abyss known as the trapdoor.
He enters the trapdoor, walks around for a bit, and finds the perfect spot to do his spell he had been preparing for, an inter-dimensional spell, which creates a permanent portal to travel between dimensions, but... they can be destroyed very easily. In fact, that is what Alex plans on doing after he goes through the portal. Alex casts the spell, and almost immediately, he hears the sound of something breaking, like something shattered, then a door appears made out of onyx crystal.
"Finally... I can enter Equestria, and live there for as long as I like." he says as he opens the door and walks through.
~End of Flashback~
...but that wasn't the case in fact I'll SHOW you the rest.
