A Shadows' Despairby DarkLunaMoon99ChaptersTimeskip and MissionsSickening IssuesMoving inTimeskip and MissionsArriving at the Guild was like chaos in a bottle. Ice and Fire flying everywhere, Erza yelling about her smooshed cake. And A green haired man ordering some girls to stop fawning over Laxus.. "How chaotic...." "You can say that again, Sting murmured, eyes wide at the scene before him, a smile on his face. "Oui Natsu!" Sting waved, taking the DragonSlayers attention off of Gray, to him. "Hey, Sting!" Hehe, I figured you wouldn't show up!" But, hey, your here, hehe!" Natsu replied, as the two high-fived. "Riao- I mean... Rogue?" Glad to see ya here, Geehee." I turned. To see a rather tall man, only to realize that it was Gajeel. "Oh, Hi, Gajeel.." I greeted, waving to him, as he walked up to me, a rather kind smile on him usually annoyed, expressionless face. "Oh c'mon!" Don't act so formal!" Your part of the Guild now! So, now ya gotta act like it!" Gajeel retorted, smacking me on the back, taking me by surprise. "Woah!" I yelped, stumbling forwards, and I was sent crashing right into Cana's barrel of... Beer?..." "Agh!" I cried, as I slammed into the barrel, knocking it over... Beer splashing everywhere, as it spilled all over me.... Beer, I got sick every single time I got near it.... No idea why, I just couldn't stand it. At all. "Oh, sorry, Rogue...." Gajeel muttered casually. "I'm gonna be sick...." I murmured, covering my mouth with my hands, as I immediately got to my feet, and darted for the door. "Eh... Rogue gets seriously sick when he's near alcohol for some strange reason.." Sting apologized, shrugging as if it was no big deal. "I can see that.." Gajeel replied, snickering. As the two friends continued their conversation... While I stayed outside, ridding myself of the awful smell of alcohol... I gagged just thinking about it. About a half an hour later, the doors to the Guild opened behind me. And I noticed Sting walk out. "Ready to head out?!" It honestly excited! Sting suddenly yelled, jumping up and smacking my back, but thankfully lighter than Gajeel had an hour or so earlier. "Yes, very much so..' I smell like... Beer....." I muttered, gagging again as my nose brought in the awful smell of beer. And I scrunched up my nose, attempting to rid the smell of it. "Hehe, you really can't take the stench, can ya?" Sting asked, jokingly, as he laughed. "So, what may this 'job' were going on be?" I must ask, "Oh, I should've told you that earlier, my bad!" Sting yelped, jumping again. "Eh, well, we've been tasked to drive away some retarded thieves that've been stealing from the Royal Fiore Bank. Big offer to take on, eh?" Sting finished, smiling broadly. "Very well, let's be on our way." I concluded, and with that, we continued our way towards the targeted location on the map Sting had. about an hour later, we made it to the desired location, and waited. I could feel the excitement radiating off of Sting from five metres away, he was practically bouncing with every step. It was quite amusing, I must admit. Suddenly. A few rustled came from the bushed nearby, so I took a battle ready stance, hoping to stop them first chance. "you'd better come out!" Or I'm coming in!" Take your pick! Or I'll do it for ya!" Sting yelled, smiling confidently. "Rogue!" To the side!" Sting ordered, barking at me. Suddenly. I was struck in the jaw by something, before swivelling my head around to see the attacker. "Sting!" I yelled, before landing a hard blow to the side of the mans face, knocking him down, defeated with one blow... "Geez, you call yourself strong?!" Pfft, how pathetic!" Sting snickered, only further angering the second man. "Your gonna regret saying that about us!" Come and get it!" Chump!" The man yelled, charging directly for Sting... "Oh my god..." That much Magic Power.." I heard Sting mutter,. I could sense it also.. But I knew Sting was locked in place.. "Sting!!" I yelped, he's a GodSlayer!" Don't go near him!" I continued... Until I did the only thing possible; I jumped in front of him. "Now face your torturing, long months torture!" Haha!" The man cried. Before I was struck in the centre of my stomach, sending an unwaveringly strong, blinding pain directly into my stomach, causing me to double over... "Rogue!??!" I could hear Sting calling for me. But my vision.. Was blurring, and soon enough... I began to topple over, and blackness made its way from the corners of my eyes. And I blacked out.." Pain surging throughout me.. Sickening IssuesMy eyes began to open... And slowly, they began to adjust to their surroundings, and I soon noticed that I was in a small, white room. My head felt awful, I felt sick to my stomach, and I was sweating. My brain swum around inside my head. I tried to remember what had happened. But I just couldn't put my finger on it. "Rogue!" You're finally awake!" Wha!" What happened!' I turned my head slightly, to see Sting, his face worried, before I was pulled into a tight hug. "Sti-Sting, do-don't hug me, please...?" I muttered, feeling sudden nausea go up my throat... "Wha!" Why?" What's wrong?!" Sting asked, quickly pulling away from me. And he gave me a complicated 'What's wrong? What did those guys do to you' kind of look... "Rogue, please tell me that your alright. What happened?" Sting asked, finally speaking the question in mind. "I-I don't know, but, all I can say is that..." I paused, before continuing again, my head was swimming. ".....But, all I can really, say is that, for some reason. My stomach, and my head hurt, quite badly, in fact.... I finished, letting my head plop back onto the pillow. "All-All that I can quite remember, is that I was hit by some strange type of Magic....." I said, before sighing deeply. "That's all?" Sting asked again. I shook my head, signalling that it was all I could remember. "Could that be the cause of all the pain you're in?!" Sting asked, his quiet voice from only moments earlier, was now raised. "It's, possible.." I sighed. And I noticed Stings' hand create a fist, and he smacked it into his other, before growling. "Those jerks are gonna pay for bringing you pain!" Sting growled, before calming down, and settling on the edge on the bed beside me. As the room settled into quietness. Suddenly, a knock on the door broke the moment of silence. And the door opened slightly. Revealing four people. People that we recognized all too well; Erza Scarlet, Gray FullBuster, Natsu Dragneel, and Gajeel RedFox. "We've been informed that Rogue is in here?" Is that correct?" Erza asked, not yet noticing me. "I'm here...." I said, lifting my arm off the pillow, and waving in the air, catching at least Natsu's attention. "Hey, what happened, Rogue?!" Natsu asked, pushing past Erza and Gajeel. "Natsu, Rogue told me he didn't remember anything. Anything except that he was hit by some strange, unknown Magical Force... Sting answered, clearing his throat. "Oh..... Natsu sighed, a look of sympathy in blackened eyes. "Natsu and Sting continued their conversation, as Gajeel and Erza continued theirs out in the doorway.... Until a rather unsettling noise broke through the friendly conversations. I starred down at the mess I had unintentionally created.... I had thrown up onto the floor... I felt only sorry, and guilty for doing so. "Rogue!" Sting yelped, turning on his heels, and starring directly at me. And gasped at what he saw next. "I-I- I'm sorry... Everyone.." I muttered, groaning as I plopped back onto the bed. My stomach only feeling worse than before... "It's okay, Rogue, you didn't mean it, alright?" Erza exclaimed, smiling warmly. Which was a rather unusual thing for her to do, but I enjoyed her smile. It felt nice... "Thank you,,," I said, barely a whisper, and I sighed. Hoping that this miserable pain would go away soon enough. "I can't help but worry about what those jerks did to you, to put you in all this... Pain.." Sting growled, his fist in his right hand... "Hey, Sting, calm down, alright.." Gray asked, comforting the over exaggerated Sting. "I'm sorry, it's just.... I've never seen you like this, Rogue..." Sting said, turning to face me, and I stared up with red, sympathetic eyes. "It's, fine, it's probably just a stomach ache..... I sighed, though still hoping that it was the case. "I hope you're right, Rogue..." Sting answered, sitting beside me.. "So do I, Sting, I answered back... And I let out a groan, as a wave of pain went through me... Before it subsided, and I lifted my head from my pillow once more. "Rogue should be resting now, let's leave so he can rest.... Erza said suddenly, lifting from her chair, and heading towards the door. "Oh, alright.... Hope you're feeling better by tomorrow, Rogue!!" Natsu said, waving to me. As Gray only cast me a sympathetic look, and left.. "Rogue..?" I'll be in the main Guild room, if you need anything, alright?" Sting asked. I nodded, before shutting my eyes... And hearing the door close behind me.... "Thanks, Sting...." Moving inI smiled, as I turned the key into the lock, and opened the door. The door to our new home. "Wow, Rogue, this place is huge!" Sting commented, spinning around, his arms outstretched, bringing in the fairly new, fresh scents of the home. "Not interested, I muttered back to the blonde DragonSlayer, and he shrugged, turning around and heading into another room. As I remained in what looked to be the living room. "Rogue, come here!?" Look at this basement!!" It's huge!!" Sting yelled, and I sighed, following his voice to the base of the main floor. "That is quite spacious, I must agree.." I said, my voice staying quiet as always. "Geez, Rogue, your no fun." Sting shot an annoyed glare at me before hurrying down the stairs, a small, pink creature following close behind, to which I presumed for it to be Frosche. I sighed, finally deciding to follow Sting, and I made my way down the stairs.... Suddenly, something pulled back on my foot, and I was sent tumbling down the stairway, the back of my long, flowing robe having been ripped slightly in the process. "Rogue!" Sting yelled, jumping back in surprise, seeing me awkwardly sitting at the bottom of the stairwell, my left leg perched on the safety bar at the sides. "What'd you do now, trip?" You clumsy fool, Sting huffed, jokingly, as he jumped up over me, and went upstairs, leaving me alone. Frosche bounding off after Sting, and Lector, whom I hadn't seen yet. A few minutes later, I had finally got my bearings and clumsily stood up, swaying, and I made my way up the stairs. "Took ya long enough, Rogue." Sting snickered, once I had found him rummaging through the many boxes that we'd brought along with us for unpacking. "Fro thinks so too!" Frosche cried, jumping up into the box Sting was rummaging through, giving him a slight surprise. "See, even Frosche agrees with me!' Sting remarked, suddenly having a half-eaten chocolate bar in his mouth... Melted chocolate running down his neck. "Sting, were on earth did you get that?.." I asked, flicking a loose clump of my hanging black hair out of my eyes. "It was In my pocket, Sting assured, as he swallowed the reminents of it, strings of melted chocolate hanging from his mouth. "Alright....." I sighed, though I was rather amused by my partners' strange antics. "Suddenly, a strange object hit the back on my head, taking me by surprise. "Hehehe...." I could here Sting snickering behind me, as I rubbed the back of my head, and turned around to face him. "What was that?" I asked, jaaku Tsuc
