Chapter 6 : The Truth (Edited)

“Eric?”The Hydreigon could feel the prodding on his belly. He tried to bat it away, only for it to return.

Eric opened one blurred eyes, to reveal a green and white snakelike figure in front of him.”Eric, it’s time to wake up.”He knew the voice to be Helen’s.

Rubbing his eyes, Eric stretched out his arms above his head.”Alright, alright. Be up in a jiffy.”After the stretching he let out a yawn when he stretched out his back. A satisfying crack followed.”Ahhhh, much better.”

Helen decided that this time“How is she, Eric?”Eric stared at her. Any trace of sleep suddenly gone from his eyes.”The nightmares, I mean.”

Eric shrugged, not knowing how to answer that one.”She’s....fine, I guess.”However, Sally is anything, but fine....in her case.

Helen slithered over to the slumbering Salamence with pity in her eyes.”Somethings are truly hard to be forgotten.”

“I know....”He shooked his head. He knew they couldn’t afford to think about that now.”Let’s wake her up.”

Helen and Eric prodded the Salamence’s side.”Sally?”No response. Eric knew that she always a heavy sleeper.”C’mon, girl. Wake up!”Still no response. Only just some soft snores coming out of her throat.

Eric starting consider tickling her soft belly right now.”Uhhh....Larry, I’m going to toss you!”Sally mumbled, her wings stirring up. Both trainer and Serperior stared at each other in bewilderment. What was Sally dreaming right now?

The sharp ears of the Serperior heard a door opening. She turned her head to see a pony by the door, it was Igneous.”So you’re awake.”Eric, hearing the voice, also doing a spin to face him.

Helen remained calm as always as the pony adressed them, Eric was getting nerveous by the glare that’s being received from the said pony, but remaining stoic.”I know you two can understand me. I’ll lay out some ground rules here.”

The Serperior just raised an eyebrow alongside Eric.”First, you are not to go anywhere during nightfall. I don’t want anypony roaming the place at night.”

“Sounds reasonable.”The pony wouldn’t understand what she said, but Eric did.

“Second, don’t try to steal anything.”Igneous stated. The Hydreigon and Serperior sweat dropped. Why on earth would they even tried to steal anything, they weren’t that low.

Eric tried to speak, but closed his mouth, knowing he wouldn’t understand what he said anyway.”Third,”He took a menacing step forward. It would have been menacing if the one he’s adressing is a bit shorter than him.”Hurt any of my daughter or husband

“Fourth, you’re not staying here for free.”Igneous stated, feeling a little bit of smugness on this fourth rule.”You three have to work to earn your keep.”

Helen and Eric stared at each other, trying to process this all in. The rules were all reasonably sound, no one would want a stranger roaming the place at night or stealing any of their stuff. The third rule, they never wanted to hurt anyone so that’s checked out. The fourth rule, however, requires them to work.

Eric tried to consider the possibilities. They didn’t have anywhere to stay right now and they were the only one who currently understood them. If they fly everywhere looking for a place to stay, there’s a chance the local population of ponies would panic. Eric decided that it’s the best time for work. There’s a plus that his team would get workouts, instead of full-blown training in the field that would get the family a fit.

Helen and Eric went out of the thinking mode when a stomp is heard.”Hey, are you listening?”Eric nodded alongside Helen.”Good, that means you’ll work as soon as breakfast finished.”He turned around and exited without another word.

The Hydreigon broke the ice.”Whoa, grumpy old grandpa there, huh?”Helen sighed.

“So,”The voice caused their heads to turn. Sally rubbed her eyes to get rid of the blur.”We have to work?”

“Seems so.”The Salamence got up, stretching her back until a pop is heard.”Are you sure about this, Eric?”

“It’ll be good workout for you two. We still have to do some training, so instead of blasting each other, it’ll be a workout instead. I don’t want the family having a fit when there’a crater in the field.”Eric remembered the time where during training his team accidentally blew up a meadow and left a sizable crater. He didn’t want that to happen.

”Besides, we don’t have anywhere else to stay right now. Don’t want to cause panic when travelling everywhere. And I think grumpy old grandpa there would pay us.”He put his heads into his pocket for emphasis and pulling it out to reveal wallet full of Pokedollars. Apperantly, it was transported alongside his jacket.”I don’t have this world’s currency.”

Sally sighed. All those hard earned money from battling and saving not having any kind of use in the end.”Guess, we don’t have much of a choice, huh?”

“No, we’re not.”Helen answered.”Eric’s right, we do need some form of workout so none of us would slack off. That and the fact, that Eric still needed to get used to his body so he wouldn’t accidentally blast us with Hyper Voice again.”

Eric grinned nerveously while fidgeting.”Guess I am.”

Sally grinned deviously.”It seems we need work on your forms, Eric! Be prepared for training.”Eric groaned. This is going to be one of those days.

“We decided to work here?”Cloudy questioned. Helen, Eric and Sally nodded.

After getting rid of the morning bed head, the three headed straight for the Pie Family house for their usual breakfast. This time, Helen had the courtesy to write to the family not to include flowers or any sort of vegetables into Sally and Eric’s breakfast.

At this time, Helen wrote the fact that Eric alongside Sally agreed to work for them for the duration of their stay while they were eating.

Provided the Cloudy also pay them, of course. They didn’t want to work for free either regardless if they stay here like a boarding house or something like that.

Cloudy looked over at the them again. These pokémon’s seems to be strong enough to help around the farm. But considering their physiology, like Helen having no arm, but those vines. Eric having three mouths instead to hold things and Sally could only hold things with her mouth. She have a hard time believing that they could work efficiently even if they work together.

“But,”Helen was about to wrote something when the mare cut her off.”How are you going to work. Your body seems.....not suited for mine work.”

Helen wrote her short reply. We can handle it, ma’am. Just point us in the right direction.

“How?”

A snort cut in.”Cloudy, if they want to work, that’s fine. If they want to stay, they have to work.”

“Me and Blinkie can show them around!”Inkie offered excitedly.

“Great idea, Inkie!”Blinkie agreed.

Cloudy sighed, guess she just have to go along with this. No doubt in her mind that her husband put them up to this.”If that’s what you all wanted.”She was only met by a nod from Eric behind Helen.

Helen glanced at Eric who gave her a simple.”Hydreigon.”

The Regal Pokémon wrote her reply. Right now if possible. We want to finish as soon as possible.

Cloudy chuckled.”Not until you finish your breakfast. It doesn’t comes free.”

We plan to, ma’am. The conversation ended and they continued their breakfast in another awkward silence like yesterday.

“Do you need pickaxes?”Cloudy asked them before setting them off toward the field alongside her daughters.

No need, ma’am. We have our ways. Helen replied vaguely. She glanced over at Eric thinking for a few seconds before writing another reply on the paper. We will need one pickaxe, though.

“I thought you could handle it?”Cloudy asked with a frown. Hoping that their previous reply weren’t just made up beliefs that they could handle rock farming work without the proper tools.

We could, but Eric as I mentioned is not like us a few days ago. He still needed to get used to his new body, ma'am. Helen explained.

Cloudy just sighed. Things are just going to get complicated if she push on, so she decided to just let it go for now.“If you say so,”The mare turned toward the twins who waited by the doorway.”Inkie, Blinkie, show them the ropes. And get one pickaxe.”

“Okay, mom!”Both answered simultenously.

“Good luck! Don’t try to overdo it out there. Just find some crystals and dumb them in the center of the field. Inkie and Blinkie will take care of it later.”Helen nodded before slithering outside to his awaiting trainer and friend followed by Inkie and Blinkie.

Helen slithered over to them.”What took you so long, Helen?”

“Just adding some finishing touches. Seems you will need a pickaxe, Eric.”

“Why do I need a pickaxe for?”Sally just stared at him with a deadpan expression. Not believing he didn’t notice. Helen sighed with a bemused expression.

“I seriously needed to get used to this body.”He said to himself as he wiped a sweat off his brows.

The three pokémon have already worked for a while when Inkie and Blinkie showed to the fields closest to the tree line. Seeing as there less rocks to work here, they decided that this is the best place for rookie rock miner.

As soon as they were left alone at the edge of the wasteland, Sally were breaking rocks like no tomorrow using her Brick Break move that she had learned from a tutor the one that requires an outrageous amount of shard that he bought in Join Avenue to teach her. Helen cutting apart rock with such precision that could be found in a professional diamond cutter using her Leaf Blade by the tail. The two were barely even breaking a sweat, meanwhile were struggling just not to have one of his six wings lock up.

On top of that, Eric doesn’t know how to properly use his moves. Sally did promise to teach him later on when they have the time. The only thing he performed, although accidentally is a ultra-powerful Hyper Voice when he panicked.

Overall, he had to use a pickaxe. It was awkward having to hold it using his arm heads mouth. It would have been weird if anyone saw the usual fierce and aggresive Hydreigon mined a rock....using a pickaxe.

Eric got rid of the disturbing thoughts as he went back toward, slamming the pointy end toward the rock.”I wish I was at least a Psychic-type now.”He said absentmindedly.

The Hydreigon noticed the slight ‘ting’ sound, implying he struck gold on some crystals. That is until he lay his eyes on said crystal. He recognized the color, but there’s also pattern on it, only the center part was visible. It was bright yellow in color with the patterns seems to zig zag like a lightning bolt

“What the?”He seems to regain some vigor as he mined what he already think it is. After several strikes later, he lay eyes on something very familiar as he picked it up.”What the hell!? How-“His thoughts were interrupted when a shout came into his ears.

“ERIC! I FOUND SOMETHING. YOU’RE NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS!”Helen bounded over to him.

He quickly turned around, seeing Sally with something in her mouth. “Ah, ound omething.”Her speech slurred from the thing she’s holding in her mouth.

Helen moved to join up with them. Eric spotted she also held something coiled by one of her vines. It was also something that he couldn’t belive that he’s seeing in this place. Judging from the looks on their face, they were also surprised when he held the stone he found earlier.

“Is that....a Thunder Stone you hold?“The Serperior started. Disbelief is all over her face.

Eric stated with a dumbfounded tone.”Uh-huh....and is that a Salamencite?”Helen nodded slowly and judging from the small amount of wire attached, it used to belong to someone. They have a pretty good idea who it is, though because it was Sally's. Eric had forgotten that Sally had lost the Salamencite when they arrived here.

Both of them glanced at Sally who dropped the third stone from her mouth.“I found them when I was mining. It’s a Dusk Stone, Eric.”Sally stated.

Eric put one free arm head to his main head.”Please tell me, I’m just hallucinating from overwork here because these stones weren’t supposed to be found in this world.”

“We did work for a while.”Helen looked toward the sun, it was high up now.”It’s getting close to noon. I didn't realize we've worked for quite awhile.”

“Forget about that, what are we going to do with these stones?”Sally cut in.

Helen put a vine on her chin in thought.“There bound to be more around here. To think that we would discover some Evolution Stones or a Mega Stone.”

“You know what,”Eric mumbled with frustrations in his tone. “Sally hold onto the Salamencite for now. I’ll think of something to deal with this new discovery.”

“I can’t mega evolve, Eric. Not without a Keystone at least.”Sally replied.”Besides, the wire is too small for me to hold it. I can’t exactly hold it in my mouth forever.”

“I know that.”Eric held out his right arm head with a mouth open. Leaning down to grab it off the ground.”I’ll hold onto it for now, since Mega Stones are more rare than normal Evolution Stones. I’ll pocket the Salamencite. We’ll probably need it later.”Once securing it with the arm head mouth, he pocketed it without another word.

“What about the two other stones, Eric?”Helen questioned with a tilt of her head.

“How about you hold onto it for now, Helen.“The Serperior nodded. With one additional vine coming out from the back of her neck inside, she pocketed it inside her....wherever the vines came from which is from the peeled-banana looking clothing where her head sticks out.

“Now then, let’s-“It was then that universe decided to gloriously interrupt their conversation with a loud explosion. A very loud and big one as a matter of fact.

BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

“WAAAAAHHH!!!!”All three pokémon screamed as they were sent flying from the shockwave of the explosion. They hit the ground hard.

Dust kicked up following the explosion, with the area being a desolate wasteland doesn’t help matters. Dust and dust....they were everywhere in an instant following the gigantic explosion that would make a Wailord proud.

“What the hell was that?”Sally screamed out. Her ear fins slightly deafened from the explosion with a loud ringing sound.

Helen also experienced the same thing. With gritted teeth, she answered.”It appears to be a giant explosion a few miles from where we are now.”

“I know that.”Sally shook her head furiously to get rid of the deafness.“What I meant is what caused it!”The dragon tried to rub the dust of her eyes from the resulting kicked up dust.

The Serperior trying to shook the ringing sound from her ears and dust from her eyes while replying.”I don’t know, Sally. Are you injured?”

“Yeah! Just some ringing in my ear. Otherwise, I’m fine.”The Salamence looked over to the Serperior besides her, though for some reason she seems smaller though she didn’t pay it any heed.”What about you?”

“Like you, suffering a slight disorientation in my ears, but yes I’m fine.”Sally sighed.

“Eric, are you.....”It was a this moment that Sally couldn’t hear Eric said a word after the blast.”ERIC! WHERE ARE YOU!”

“Down here!”A muffled voice sounded out.”Geez, girl, don’t scream. My eardrums are blasted enough as it is.”Sally knew what would comes next judging from the direction of the voice.

Sally glanced downward. A Hydreigon raised one of his arms up.”I gave up, girl. Will you please get off me now?”Sally blushed from the position she’s in. It looks like as if she’s mounting him on the side.

For all the speed a Salamence is capable off, she scrambled backward, falling onto her butt as a result. She didn’t pay attention to it as Sally quickly apologized profusely, hoping that her trainer would understand the situation.

Helen sweat dropped at the scene. Eric was already floating when Sally stopped apologizing.”Okay, okay. No need for all that sorry.”Sally grinned nerveously. “Anyway, we should focus on the situation at hand, about the explosion earlier.”

“Should I do a quick check out?”Sally offered once more. She was after all one of the main scouts in the team.”You know, to make up for.....earlier?”

Both the former human and Regal Pokémon at this time decided to weight their options at the prospect of checking the explosion. Eric’s paranoia regarding his...secret has led them to avoid drawing a lot of attention to him or his team. Helen, out of all his team, recognized this. It was just a few seconds of waiting that Sally got her answer.

“No!”The Hydreigon and the Serperior simultenously answered.

Sally just raised a questioning red eyebrow.”What? I thought you wanted to check that....whatever caused the explosion."

“That’s exactly why I didn’t want to go right now!”Eric answered.

Helen nodded in confirmation.”Eric’s right, Sally. Judging by the size of the explosion, I have no doubt that a flock of investigations will follow.”

The Dragon Pokémon suddenly got the hint on what they’re saying.”So you mean...you want to avoid the planet authorities.”Sally understood now. Considering their....secret, Eric always wanted to avoid any kind of contact with any form of regional authorities.

“Right,”Helen cut in, finishing what Eric going to say.”What Eric meant is that investigation will soon follow by the local authorities. He wanted to check it out, but doing it later. Especially when no one’s around. “It wouldn’t help the situation when they spot a dragon-type pokémon flying to the side or around it. They could accuse you of doing the entire thing, especially when they would spot you after the explosion occured.”

That suddenly made sense to Sally. She always were admired Helen for her intelligence.”Huh, now that you mention it. You do have a point.”She glanced over at Eric who still stared at the direction of the explosion.”So what do you want us to do now, Eric?”

“For now, I guess, we just stay quiet. Watch things as they unfold.”He could hear some shouting behind him. Sighing, he told them.”Hopefully we can explain the whole thing to the family.”

Helen glanced backward, spotting some figures in the dust.”Do you think they would accuse us, Eric?”

“No way. We’re far away from the explosion. Besides, the old man..I mean, pony kept those eagle eyes on us.”Eric answered, while pointing to his own eyes for emphasis.

The coughing from the ponies were more pronounced now. Four figures stumbled through the dust and stopped right in front of a rather nerveous Hydreigon, a nonchalant Salamence and stoic Serperior.

Immediately, Igneous lay the blow.”Did you caused the explosion earlier?”The accusing tone in his voice is all, but visible.

Eric just shook his head wildly alongside Sally, Helen softly shook her head in response. Igneous weren’t satisfied.”Are you lying to me?”His eyes narrowed dangerously while stepping forward a little

“Dad, what’s with you?”Blinkie asked while stepping in front of her father.

Inkie stepped beside Blinkie.”Yeah, dad. You’re being grumpy ever since these guys have been staying with us. You couldn’t just accuse them of something.”

Igneous stared at his daughters for a few seconds before turning away with a snort. Three pokémons heard the whole thing. It wouldn’t take a genius to figure out that the old pony didn’t trust them one bit. Typical old farmer attitude, is what going on in their heads. Except the farmer are more of a miner of minerals rather than a livestock one.

Blinkie turned around with a nerveous grin on her face.”Sorry, for that. My dad is not exactly trusting of outsiders. He’s kind of old fashioned.”

Eric and Helen nodded in reply, gesturing that they accepted the apology. Cloudy Quartz wanted some explanation more than that.”Can you two explain what was that just now?”She gestured to the whole field.”And why some of the trees were uprooted and dust were all over the field?”

Helen tried to think of a way to reply. None came to mind at the moment, so she wrote on the ground. Let us take care of the mess first.

The mare looked up in confusion. Knowing that the Serperior probably just avoided the question.”What do you mean? Don’t change the topic.”

We do not know of the cause. She wrote in a curt reply.Any injuries, ma’am?

Cloudy shook her head. She was in the house after all, not taking the brunt of the explosion.”No, I’m fine.”She glanced over at her husband who looked away for some very obvoius reasons.”It seems my husband blamed you? I’m sorry about that. Inkie’s right about him being distrustful of outsiders.”

The Serperior wrote another reply. He did. I do not take offence of it. Helen gestured around the field where many rocks were blasted apart, some trees were uprooted, and even the bigger rock were uprooted if only a little. The dust were starting to dissipate as well, but still Let us care for the mess first.

Cloudy Quartz doesn’t know what’s going on anymore, so she decided to just heed the snake’s advice and clean the field up.”Fine,”She turned to face the girls.”Let’s get cleaning girls.”

It took no time for them to get started, but the process were quite tiring because of the state of the field. The family and pokémons are now wearing some cloth mask on their face as they work on the desolate field.

The twin sisters worked to quickly sort out the blasted rock, some were blown apart from the impact when the were sent flying, some releasing the deposit of minerals. Due to their knowledge of of all types of rocks, it lessened the time needed to get it done when they loaded them onto the carts.

Meanwhile, Cloudy Quartz and Igneous Rock tried to get rid of some of the uprooted trees by unloading them onto some carts. It took all their strength as earth ponies to work with the uprooted dead trees.

The pokémons just resolved to help in any way they can. Eric helped the twins sorting out the rocks by bringing it over to them, well as best as the arms heads could do feeling that he still needed to get used having a Hydreigon body Sally and Helen does the heavy lifting by putting the dead trees into the carts to be chopped up later when the time is right.

By the time, they’re done, the dust had already settled enough for them to get rid of the mask. They all regrouped together to report their work.

“Inkie, Blinkie, how’s the sorting work out?”Cloudy asked her two daughters.

“Done, mom.”Both replied simultenously. Feeling rather proud of their work.”Eric sure does help us a lot.”Eric rubbed his head to get rid of the sweat while grinning.

The mare nodded.”We have already done what we could then. Let’s bring all of this over to the-“Her words were cut off when a voice sounded in their heads.

“Greetings citizens of Equus, both old and new.” A voice resonates in the heads of the Pie family alongside their guest.

“What the hell!?”Sally yelled out in surprise. Eric glanced around in confusion while Helen remained calm like always while staring off somewhere.

”I am Lord Arceus, creator of the creatures that you have seen over the past few days. You have no reason to fear me for I come in peace.”

The shock that the Regal Pokémon experienced upon hearing the name ‘Arceus. Both Eric and Sally shared the same expression on their face.”....Arceus....”She mumbled.

“I am the one who brought the creatures you see to this world, they are known as Pokémon.”Eric immediately fell over onto his stomach. Sally suddenly snarled at nothing.

“I have my reasons for bringing them here, I will be holding a summit with the world's leaders so that they can help inform their citizens the best. For now I issue a warning; Even if some do not appear as such, the Pokémon are just as intelligent as any other creature that calls this world home. Since they are MY subjects I will not tolerate their mistreatment or abuse. Treat them as you would your own neighbor.”

Helen shook her head.“I thought he just a myth.....a myth!”The Serperior couldn’t believe it. Meanwhile, Eric trying to float again after his wings stopped working from shock.

“Pokemon who have awoken in this new world, do not seek to harm the natives of this world. To the pokemon that experienced certain... Changes... when you arrived; You are the ones who proved that not all of your kind deserved vengeful retribution, consider this your reward. To live new lives, free of the burdens of the old world, a chance to start anew. As sentient beings of varying intelligence, the laws of the respective countries you now reside in apply to you, and only those laws.”

The family just stared in shock, not knowing that each one of them were experiencing the same voice in their mind. Inkie and Blinkie ran around like a mad pony on the loose before ramming into each other, seeing pretty stars after that. Cloudy Quartz had her jaws dropped while Igneous trying his best to try and appear stoic, but inside he’s also doing his best not to panic.

“That is all for now, the Pokémon are not to be harmed simply out of spite. If you have any qualms with what I have done, I reside in a temple located within the Everfree forest and welcome all who would like to speak, or a pocket dimension outside of the space time continuum, so if any of you wish to face the sheer power of a god, feel free to come by.” If the pokémons instinct told them at this point is they could feel that the voice that spoke in their heads seems to have some strange satisfaction of showing off his powers.

Silence.....awkward silence followed for how many minutes, they don’t know. Some were shocked, some were surprised, and surprisingly, Sally were angered. They didn’t speak for many more minutes due to the brain malfunction from the information just drilled into it.

That is until Eric broke the silence with total of four words.”Huh, that....explains everything.”He stared dully before shooking his head, thinking that he might be hallucinating it. He stared at his loyal Serperior and Salamence.”Uhhh, did anyone hear the same voice in my head as well? Or am I just gone crazy?”Judging from their expression, he’s not the only one who heard it.

He waited for some response, slowly, the Serperior nodded while still staring at nothing. Sally followed curtly. The ponies didn’t respond, they wouldn’t understand what he said.

He sighed, the Hydreigon had hoped that he was hallucinating all of it.”Guess your theory was right, huh, Helen?”

Helen, hearing his voice, shook her head.”I never imagined that the theory would be correct.”The Serperior whispered back in reply, trying to believe everything the now revealed-to-be-real pokémon god. “It’s true that we’re not in our world anymore, then.”

“Yeah,”Eric nodded in solemn. In his years as a trainer, he certainly didn’t expect something like this to happen. Sure, he had expected something to blow up, battling against a champion or an unusually strong trainer. He even expected having an impromptu battle against a powerful legendary, but not this.

“What’s happens next, Eric?”Helen slithered over to her trainer.

Eric gave her a deadpan stare.”Me? I don’t have any backup for mass exodus situation like this. What about you?”

“Your our trainer, Eric. Whatever your decision, I’ll follow.”Helen answered with her usual stoic manner.”I’m only sticking my opinion when the plan seems disagreeable to our friends.”

The pokémon turned trainer just sweatdropped with a sigh. Helen is loyal, but she usually did stick her opinion to his plans when something off about it. Though, her willingness to follow his orders like a servant doesn’t help in this situation.

Eric began wracking his brains again for any course of action, followed by Helen. Eric is a man of strategy, always having a plan before a battle and a backup should it fail. This is one of those days that he’s actually stumped on what he should do. If Arceus did bring him, his team, and millions of tons of pokémon into this world, he would need explanation. Besides, he needed to ask him for the location of his teams and....his family.

“I think we need to have some more planning to do. The situation just got way off the charts this time.”

“That would have been an understatement.”Helen “Regardless, you’re right, Eric. We need to discuss the best course of actions for us.”

“I already have some plans of action, but.....”Eric noticed that Sally didn’t join in with their discussion. Usually, when some planning were needed before a battle, the team would gather. It was their ritual after all.”Where’s Sally?”Helen pointed with a vine behind him. He turned his head around to witness Sally staring at the sky, surprisingly, she let out a low growl.

Sally all this time just let out what could be seen as a silent snarl.”....Arceus....”

“Sally!?”Eric called out, she didn’t answer.”What are you doing? We’re suppose to do some planning together. Don’t be dillydallying, girl.”

The voice shook her out of her rage.”Uhh, yeah, I’ll be there in a sec.”She replied with a little stutter.

“Excuse me?”Both the Hydreigon and Serperior glanced toward the source of the voice. It was Cloudy Quartz.”What are you both discussed just now?”

The trainer and his pokémon stared at each other.”Think we should let them in on our plan, Eric?”

Eric shrugged, simply not caring anymore because of the absurdity of the situation.”Why not, things probably going to get weirder from here on out, anyway. The family’s got to know that we’re leaving to ask Arceus tomorrow anyway.”

“Then I shall inform them.”Helen slithered over to the family. They flinched back in reflex, though the Serperior didn’t notice this.

She let out a vine again and wrote on the ground. Discuss back in the house. Can’t write very well out here.

Cloudy sighed. This was getting to become one of those days. “I’ll get the quill and ink again.”With that the mare turned around.

Inkie suddenly cut in.”I’ll go clear up the house!”She chirped before galloping back to join her mother.

“Hey, wait for me!”Blinkie joined afterwards.

That only left the brown earth pony, who reluctantly left to join his family. All the while, he glared daggers at the pokémon who stared at him.

The Salamence still stared at the sky in rage, but just let it off for now. Turning around, she pose to join Eric once more with the ponies for a discussion regarding the impromptu worldwide exodus by Arceus. Leaving the seven carts behind filled with tons of trees and rocks.

“I’m not saying I disagree with him. It’s just that maybe that guy should warn us or something. Not comitting a mass exodus without anyone’s approval. “Eric argued.

After going back to the house, Eric and Helen immediately went back to their discussion of their future plans of action. The family of ponies were just staring at the two pokémon deep in their conversation while Sally stared through the window in the living room into the skies beyond the fields.

The family just stood aside while the two pokémon spoke to each other furiously in the living room. Waiting to actually cut in so they could be included in the conversation.

When the Serperior think about it, Eric does have a point. Arceus should made an effort to announce first.”It’s true, bad things tend to happen when you act on your own. I conclude that many would visit Arceus in a short time, disagreeing on his methods.”

Eric nodded.”That’s why I wanted to be first in line. Before others decided that they have some funny ideas.”

“I was exactly thinking the same thing, Eric.”Helen continued.“I wanted to know the reasons why he would do such things. “

Eric hummed in confirmation.”That’s our priority then. Our top priority should also asking him where he decided to drop off our team.....and mom and my bro.”

The snake noted the solemn tone in the voice.”Are you afraid that our friends and your family are not transported alongside us or are they fact that they’re somehow got hurt?”Eric nodded rather reluctantly. Helen put a vine onto his shoulder.”They’ll be fine. The on thing I know that our friends is lot more hardier thanks to your training, Eric.”

The Hydreigon got to admit, Helen does have a point. He trained them to win, not to lose.”Yeah, guess, I got worried for no reason. Though, I’m still worried about mom and my bro.”

The conversation were decidedly interrupted by a pony.“Uh excuse us, Mr.Snake.”Inkie put a hoof up while looking at them both. Eric and Helen turned their attention to the grey mare which caused her to become nerveous.”Can you let us in. We’re kinda out of it.”

Eric and Helen sweatdropped with a bemused expression from being mistaken again for a guy. They wished they could have a better means of communication than writing on a paper.”I missed Will already.”Eric mumbled through gritted teeth.

“Us both, Eric.”Regardless, the Serperior began writing on what they discussed earlier.

“What!”Inkie and Blinkie shouted.”You want to visit this Arceus guy?”

That’s right. We plan on doing it tomorrow.

Now that they think about it, the sun had already set. The excitement and work they had done before, they didn’t even bother checking the time. They were all surprised when seeing the sun goes down like that on the horizon.

“I’ll go with you, then.”The mare volunteered. Her family looked at her as if she’s grown a second head.”I wanted to meet this Arceus for something I need to ask as well.”

Are you sure, ma’am? Cloudy nodded in approval.

“Positive, I think you’ll need me to reassure that three imposing beings are strolling through town together. You’ll need some money to go back and forth too, am I right?”

Helen was surprised when she says that. She still had forgotten that their money worth nothing in this world. Ma’am, we don’t want to impose.

The mare frowned."Nonsense, I-"She was cut off when her husband whispered harshly into her ears.

“Cloudy, are you mad?”Igneous whispered harshly to his wife.

Her wife, in return, looked at her husband incrediously.”I’m not mad. I plan to visit this Arceus to ask some question.”She looked over to the pokémons in the living room glancing at her.”They also don’t have money to go back and forth around here.”

The stallion replied while gnashing his teeth together.”Two of them has wings. They could just fly.”

“They couldn’t, Sally could, but she couldn’t go back and forth carrying to passengers.”Cloudy put a hoof to her chin.”Come to think of it, Eric is also a former....what was it....hooman? He’s rather shaky with his flight.”The sound of Eric crashing from all the floating all day long is heard. Sally and Helen sweat dropped

“What’s with you, Igneous? You haven’t been acting like yourself.”The seaweed maned mare mentioned.

“Whatever...”He just turned around in an effort to avoid the subject.”Just go with them.”

“Mom, I want to go too!”Inkie suddenly started. Blinkie also nodded.”Pinkie is also in town, it’ll be a nice plus to visit her.”

“No, girls. Somepony has to watch the farm with your father for the day, in our age we couldn’t do it alone.”Before the girl could interrupt, she held a hoof.”We wanted to just have a talk with this ‘Arceus’. No reason for your sister to throw a party just for a short visit.”

When she said it like that, Cloudy does have a point. The girls nodded reluctantly, they still wanted to come.”Okay, whatever you say, mom.”

Cloudy smiled.”Don’t worry, I’ll tell you everything when we get home.”

Eric smiled at the family. It’s been a while since he had seen his mother or his brother for that matter. Sure he can connect with them through the Xtrainsceiver and the Holo Caster he had received during his time in Kalos, but it sure beats seeing them in person.

The Hydreigon couldn’t, but chuckle at his clichéd thought.“Can’t wait to ask Arceus about our friends and family.”

“Tomorrow will probably be quite interesting.”Helen smiled as she stared at the setting sun in the horizon through the windows of the living room alongside Eric.

Sally let out a low growl.”Yeah....interesting.”

Tomorrow would be the meeting with the gods, indeed.

Author's Note

Here we are, the second day within the new world of Equus. They decided they don't have anywhere else to stay and they have to work, so work they did, only to discover that the evolutions stones alongside mega stones came alongside them into the world of Equus.

Other than that, a world shocking revelations by Arceus is heard.

I should mention that the explosion was the result of the battle between the Zygarde and Discord in Everfree. Because the explosion was quite massive, it felt for miles all the way to Canterlot and White Tail Woods.

Anyway, hope you enjoy. I'm sorry for any mistakes on my part or if this didn't meet your satisfaction. I'm still looking for editor. If you enjoyed the story please 'like' it. It helps me stay on top of my game with lots of readers. It annoys me when people 'dislike' my story without proper explanation.
