Senescence and Aetas are a mother and daughter that live a little ways from Ponyville; close enough to be considered residents, but far enough away to be called recluse. In spite of this though, they live a mundane life, Aetas going to school, but having a tough time making friends; just like any normal filly her age. Senescence tending to the house, as well as being a talented writer, while at the same time being a single parent; no mother can say they wouldn't do the same. An yet, in spite of all the evidence, some ponies think there is more than meets the eye to this otherwise normal family.
