Stargazer's POV.
Cleaning. Such fun. The only part I like is sorting through the books in the library. But now I have to clean the ceiling. My life has been since great becoming Princess Luna's assistant. I admired her so much. So it was a dream come true when I got the job as her assistant. We quickly became good friends. Now she calls me Star and I call her Luna.
I looked up at the ceiling that I had just cleaned, blew the purple hair from my mane out the way, and sat down on a pillow. 'Time for a good book' I thought as I used my horn to grab a book off the shelf. The book was 'Spells, spells and more spells!' so I decided to try a few. I looked at a gravity alternation spell. I concentrated and my horn started to glow. But then sparks started going everywhere. I tried to stop it but I couldn't.
The spell must have backfired because the world started spinning and wouldn't stop until everything went black.
Annabeth's POV.
I woke up with a start. Such bad dream. Although I usually have nightmare's, I had never had such a bad dream. Someone was shouting for help but I don't know who. A female voice was laughing as the other voice kept calling. I knew that this was a sign, and I was scared. I heard the feminine voice laugh and say how the power was all hers. The creature was stuck in small cage with an enchanted lock by the looks of it as it was glowing a light purple. I jumped up and quickly got dressed and put up my blonde, curly locks. Just as I jumped out the door of Cabin 6, Percy came running up to me.
"Annabeth! Chirion's gone missing!" he said. At that second all the blood ran from my body. I knew it was going to happen but I didn't know who was going to go missing!
"When was the last time you saw him?" I asked nearly screaming at him.
"At the camp fire last night" he said while pointing at the fire. I gasped in horror. He was always there when we needed advice or help.
"Rachel. Maybe she knows something. She's in the big house having coffee". We ran up to the sky-blue house and jumped up on the decking. Rachel sat there with Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares. Rachel has long, curly red hair and a tomboy look about her. She wasn't a demigod but she had inherited the spirit of Delphi. This meant that she could tell the future. Clarisse on the other hand, had long brown hair, and lets say, you don't wanna mess with her. She is one of the toughest kids a camp. Her orange camp t-shirt stood out from behind her camo coat.
As soon as we walked through the door, Rachel stood up and green smoke started to come out from her mouth and nose whilst her eyes glazed over green. The voice that came from her mouth wasn't hers. It was Delphi's.
"Four demigods shall walk forward, and rescue the centaur that's locked up and tortured. Magic, water, wisdom and war, must save the world once more" and then she fell. Clarisse caught her and lay her on the sofa.
"Four demigods?" I asked. I looked at Percy then he spoke.
"Well water and wisdom is me and you Wise Girl, but who is magic and war?" he said. Clarisse turned around.
"For once I'm not going. This camp needs someone to run it whilst Mr.D and Chirion aren't here" she said. We nodded when suddenly Dan Stale, son of Ares, walked in. He was quite tall and strong but he was so kind and gentle. He had shaggy brown hair and warm brown eyes and wore his camp t-shirt on top of his pale skin.
"Guys I think you should see this" he said in a worried tone. We ran after him down to the beach were lots of campers were gathered. We pushed through to see a purple haired girl lying in the sand
Percy's POV.
Many things have washed up on the beach here but never a person! Some of the Apollo kids rushed forwards and checked to see if she was ok. Her eyes suddenly fluttered open and she slowly sat up. She had long purple hair that came down to about her waist and light purple eyes. Her jeans and blue shirt had holes in them and she had a star on the side of her neck. She started looking at her hands and then the rest of her body, whilst we all stood there. "Um hi" I said. She looked up and jumped backwards. "Whoa its ok. Hi I'm Percy. This is Annabeth. What's your name?" I asked. She blinked twice and then spoke.
"My name is Stargazer" she said softly. Most of the campers looked at her in confusion like 'that's a weird name' or 'what's up with her hair'. She started to get up but fell forwards. Dan jumped and caught her just in time. They looked at each other for a second but stopped when a few Aphrodite kids started whistling.
"What happened to you?" Annabeth said, holding out her hand. Stargazer took hold of her hand and stood up.
"I don't know" she said. I looked at Annabeth and she looked at me.
"Come with us to the big house" I said. Dan helped to the house whilst we told the campers to train and gather for a meeting tonight. As me and Annabeth walked to the house she started to speak.
"Who do you think she is?" she asked. I looked around at the campers and turned to her.
"Probably another demigod who got really lost" I said.
"But did you see the way she looked at herself. It was like she doesn't know what she is" Annabeth said with a thoughtful look on her face. We stopped out side the door to the house.
"Well, we'll just have to find out then won't we" I said as I opened the door. We walked into the living room were Rachel sat talking to Stargazer. "Can you please explain who you are and where your from" I said quickly.
"As I said before, my name is Stargazer. And I...I don't know" she said. We all just stood there looking at her.
Stargazer's POV.
I had no memory. I didn't know what had happened. They were being so kind to a stranger. The boy who caught me kept looking at me and blushed when I looked back. He was a bit cute. But I had no time for romance. I have to figure out who I am.
"Do you have any family?" Annabeth asked me. I looked down.
"I don't remember". Percy looked down for a second and turned to face Dan.
"Go find Will Solace. Maybe he will know what's going on in her purple head" he said. I felt offended but didn't say anything. He nodded and headed out the door. "We really don't need this. First Chirion goes missing, and then a girl shows up on the beach". The brown haired girl punched Percy in the ribs.
"Shut up Prissy! It's not her fault and we will find Chirion" she said patting my shoulder. He rubbed his rib cage and looked at me.
"Well, Clarisse, she will be staying in the Hermes cabin, OK?" he nearly shouted at her. I felt so mean. I stared at lap and felt tears run down my face. How did I get myself in this situation? The door flew open as a blonde haired boy ran in followed by Dan. He walked towards me and knelt by my side.
"Hi. I'm Will. What's up with you?" he said quietly. I wiped the tears from my eyes and looked up. The others looked at me then Will.
"I don't know who I am" I said looking him. The tears came back and I put my head in my hands. Someone put there hand on my shoulder. I looked up and realized it was Dan. He smiled at me and I smiled.
"Right. I guess there's nothing I can do then" he said turning to Annabeth. "We'll just have to wait to see if she gets claimed" and with that he walked out the door. Wait? Claimed?
"Um I have a question. What does he mean by claimed'?" I asked facing Annabeth.
"It means by your godly parent. The Greek gods. When they have children with mortals, the children are half god, half mortal. That equals us. Demigods. We then poses a bit of the powers of our parents. Percy can control water and create hurricanes because his father is Posidon" she said calmly. "The monsters too, like cyclops, dracaenae and more".
"Oh. So are they harmful?" I asked. She nodded and her faced turned serious.
"They kill hundreds of demigods each year. Which means your gonna need a weapon" she said. "Hey Dan? Can you take Stargazer here to get a weapon?". He nodded and beckoned me too the door. I slowly got up and looked at my shredded jeans and blue shirt. "Oh and there will probably be some clothes in the Aphrodite cabin".
I walked out and looked around at all the people staring at me and I slowly made my way down the steps of the house. Dan walked to a strange building and knocked on the door. a second later a black haired girl opened the door.
