Oh, and if you want to just skip ahead to when this guy actually ends up in equestria in the next "chapter" go right ahead. I will probably summarize what happened here. also this will be short, just pointing that out now. Prologue Rock Bottom You would think I had hit rock bottom by now; dads a drug addict, brother in jail for murder, and on my way home I was told that my mom had passed away earlier today. Walking alone through the cold streets with all of this to think about, yep this day can't possibly get any worse. "HEY DANIEL" ... This world just loves proving me wrong ... I recognized that voice so I immediately recognized who he was, his name was Derek.  He tried to go around with a couple of his friends and be thugs. HA.  He would fight me every so often and by now I can defend myself, but I wasn't exactly in the mood to fight. Not to mention tired. "The fuck you want Derek?" I should have chosen my words more carefully.  The moment I turned around I was met with a fist to my face. Hurt like hell mind you but I have had worse. I could see his "friends" a couple feet away. I take a look at my surrounding to see if I can get anything to defend myself with.  Oh what do you know I'm in an ally.  An ally street fight, how cliche.      (5 minutes later) *WHAM* OK, that hurt.  Jesus I just noticed how cold it was... wait, its almost never cold. Why would it suddenly be col... *BOOM* ... Shit, I had forgotten there was gonna be a storm tonight. "HEY DEREK" one of his friends yelled "We should get out of here!" "Why!?" asked Derek "It's a lighting storm!" He yelled back ... Oh shit... There has only been a dozen or so lighting storm as far as I knew and each one would end up with several people injured from lighting and in some cases death.  The lighting storms here are rare and dangerous. "Are you sure?!?" asked Derek who now seemed a little worried. *BOOM* *CRACK* "Yeah its definitely a lighting storm!" the man yelled back "OK, lets get somewhere the lighting can't reach us!" "DEREK!" I yelled He had almost forgotten about me, and with the fighting I was bleeding, more than him but it still left us both tired out. "Derek help me out dude!" I yelled "Sorry" he said in a sarcastically rude tone "But I would prefer to let you fend for yourself!" There must have been something there that I didn't catch because the rest of them seemed to laugh at that remark. "DEREK YOU ASSHOLE!" *BOOM* *CRACK* He looked back "Yeah yeah, If I where in your position I would find a safe place , since your house is nearly a mile away, instead of insulting others" He was right, but I still couldn't control my self. "YOU ASSHOLE" I yelled back as I saw him leave, and walked out of sight fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck,fuck, FUCK!  I was panicking, I needed to get somewhere safe and fast. I should probably take a look around and... *BOOM* *CRACK* No time to think! Start moving! I moved but found that my injuries where more painful than I had thought, but that didn't stop me from trying I had to get out of here and that storm is nearly above me. "AGHHHH" I tripped and fell hard on my side not helping the fact that I was in pain. *BOOM* *CRACK* "Shit! I have to move fast ...AGHHH... that storm is getting closer by the second" *BOOM* *CRACK* "I have to before..." I was immediately blinded by a bright flash...shit, not like this... Pain... ...I only felt pain... ...As darkness slowly took my vision... ...and I accepted fate... ~Time Passes~ ...pain... ...darkness... This is all I knew at the moment, slowly the darkness left me. Butt it was pointless since my surroundings seemed dark, most likely night. Thank God, I was alive. "AGHHHH" Alive but in pain...great. I slowly crawled to a nearby tree and sat under it leaning back on the base.  I took a closer look at my surrounding...it was...a...forest? "How the hell did I end up here?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: A trip in the forest //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: A trip in the forest Brief summary : The main guy (Daniel) was having a terribly day and ended up in a fight with some guys(the leader of the group named Derek).  As a storm came their way they left the injured man (Daniel) to fend for himself.  The storm was a lighting storm and each time one was present, people got injured or sometimes even died from the storm. He was trying to head to a safe place before being blinded by a flash of light and passed out.  As he awakens he notices that he is no longer in the ally, but  in a forest. Chapter 1 A Trip In The Forest "A forest...huh" I said out loud and examined the forest "I always wanted to go to one, but this is not what I had in mind..." I chuckled lightly trying to forget about this pain. I see a small cave  to my right, maybe I could stay there for the night. "Wish I had some survival gear with food and supplies so I could make it through the night..um..night's, assuming I will be here a while." I try to get up and walk to a small cave I spotted when I was dragged down. "Umph....ow" I look to see what dragged me down and got a surprise.  I had a backpack? "Strange I never had a backpack on..." I slowly open it and see its contents.  What I find inside surprised me. "Its...a wilderness survival backpack."  I look deeper into the back pack and to my delight I fined canned food, a compact water filtration system,a small knife, some tools to help you start a fire and  a first aid kit. "But I never had... oh who cares, at least I have something to help me out in the forest." I slowly get up with my backpack on and head to the cave I saw earlier.  As I approach it i notice that the cave is roughly my size. Its not a big cave with paths, just a simple single path that came t around 50 feet. "Lord its cold" I said "I should probably find a way to start a fire." I go through ...um... the backpack I somehow had and looked for that fire starter in the first zipper/compartment.  I saw two match boxes and a hand held device that started fire by striking two parts together. This was great but I needed some wood in order to start a fire. "I can get some fallen branches from the near by trees..." I head to get some sticks from the near by tree and pile them up in my temporary cave home.  On the fourth run getting twigs something rattled in the bushes. "Who's there?" No response... I take a closer look in the bush and find...nothing.  Just a pile of twigs.  I reach down to get them when they start to move. "Ummm...what?" They slowly move into one big pile and slowly snap into place. "Ummm..." They start to settle down as you see what is in front of you.  Its a..wolf. "Wait what?!" The wolf slowly takes a offensive position and ready to strike. "Im out of here!!" The wolf slowly follows me out of the bush.  I notice a few other bushes begin to move and more of these wolves made of twigs approach me. "OK, now this is bull shit" I slowly back away near my cave never leaving eye contact "Not even one night and I'm already being attacked!?" I sigh "This is just great" One lunges toward me as I barley escape its grasp. If only I had a weapon of some sort.  A sudden flash behind me, not a bright flash but just barley noticeable.  I stare behind me and see... a hatchet.  Not questioning the logic of why there was a flash and how a hatchet appeared behind me I quickly dash toward my key of survival.  Not a moment to late that I grab the hatchet that another 'wolf' lunges toward me.  Giving it a good hard hit with the hatchet the 'wolf' stays down, clearly in pain. How does a twig 'wolf' experience pain? ... Not important, at least now I know I have a chance of surviving. Seconds later another 'wolf' attacks me.  This time I swing at it with all my force, and to my surprise sending it several feet away.  This one clearly out cold, no longer moving.  It was bleeding...sap? It's body does have the components of trees where sap is found.  This part seemed somewhat logical considering it was alive in the first place. The 'wolfs' seemed to notice that attacking one at a time would do no good.  Sooo, they decided to attack all at once. Well shit... I can't attack all five, not counting the two that where down, at once.  If only I had something to block their attacks. But what? there is nothing here. Another barley noticeable light appears a few feet away. A...shield... I sighed OK, now I KNOW for a fact some one is fucking with me... None the less I take this ... whatever it is(Miracle,luck,etc)  I wont question it, for now, so as long as it works.  I grab this..shield... and quickly bring it up to protect my body from FURTHER injuries.  I still had the injuries from that fight and now I was being attacked by 'wolfs' in some weird forest.  With my moderately safe way of fighting I slowly back up into my cave.  The 'wolfs' seemed to notice that this was my territory and was hesitant to progress any further.  In their moment of hesitating I grab my backpack and pull out one of the match boxes.  I light a match and grab a few stick setting them on fire, I throw the sticks toward the 'wolfs'. This tactic seemed to work as the 'wolfs' stayed just out of the fires harm and I try to strategize my way out of this knowing that the fire wont last forever.  I look into my backpack frantically looking for something that can make them go away.  In the smallest zipper/compartment of the backpack there where a few object; a small knife, a small bag of rocks?, some rope, a small net, and a sling shot. Well that explains the bag of rocks Sling shot it is.  I had an idea of what to do.., no I was not going to shoot the 'wolfs' with the sling shot, I was going to shoot the pieces of burning twigs and branches outside.  I figured that if I shot the skinny branches or the twigs I could get them to release more flames and scare away the 'wolfs'.  A long shot but worth a try.  Thankfully, shooting the twigs and branches did exactly what I had hoped it would.  It sent embers of fire shooting out.  The bad thing is that the 'wolfs' seemed to not have even moved out of the embers path's.  I had one last plan, it more defense than offense,...but would it work? I can't believe I am going to try this With no chance for second thinking I gathered all my twigs and branches and threw them into a big pile.  I got another two or three matches and set the big pile of wood in flames.  What was my plan?  To make a big light and use the smoke to attract attention from other people who might be passing by, hoping that they could help.  If this didn't work I might not escape these 'wolfs'. Minutes passed until I heard someone. "Is any pony out there!?" asked a feminine voice I couldn't exactly hear what they said but at least I knew some one was out there. "Over here!" I coughed, the smoke was not getting to me "I need help!!" "Hang on!" replied the feminine voice. "I'll be right there!" Oh thank God some one was here to help me. I facepalmed The wolfs! They will attack her! "I'm being attacked by some strange wolfs!" I yelled back trying to warn her "Just stay there!" she yelled back "I'll deal with them!" "Be careful!" I yelled back How is she going to "deal" with them? I wondered Maybe she knows something about these 'wolfs' and how to fight them? I sighed Well I'll soon find out I soon started to see something rumbling in the bushes behind the 'wolfs' who didn't seem to notice.  Soon the rumbling stopped and I saw a pair of eyes.  From out of nowhere a few 'wolfs' where engulfed in this purple aura and where flung to the distance. Fuck logic as long as I was safe was what I started thinking.  Taking this as my opportunity to attack a startled 'wolf', I swung my hatchet harder than before knocking him out cold as well. "And then there where three" I thought out loud. As soon as another tried to lunge at me it was consumed by the same mysterious purple aura and flung to the side hitting a boulder and knocking it out cold.  With all my force I attacked the second one making it back away before falling unconscious.  As I turned to the last one, it ran away hiding in the forest trees. "Great" I muttered "I have a feeling he will be back with more of his pack " I turned away and realized the woman was still out there, she might run into it.  I should warn her. "Hey i'm safe now, but one of the wolfs ran off!" I yelled into the forest.  The sky seemed a little brighter, it was most likely morning. "Great" I muttered "That fight seems to have re-opened my wounds" "Your wounds?" I heard the woman talking from behind "What happened, are you OK??" I turned around to answer but so no one. Just a... purple horse?  "A purple horse?" I wondered out loud. "A purple horse with a purple mane?... What!?" "I'm not purple I'm lavender!" shouted the horse "Their completely different!" ... "And I'm a pony not a horse" ... "Well technically I'm a unicorn if you want to be specific" I was trying to process what was happening in front of me "A talking unicorn...I think I'm... gonna... pass out..." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Introductions //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Introductions Chapter 2 Introductions I slowly woke up to the sound of hoof steps and chatting. It took a while, since I was still just waking, and heard more clearly two people talking.  Most likely women. "...and before I could introduce myself it just passed out and fell to the ground!" Said a feminine voice. Wait passed out? phew, so it was just a dream "Oh my" said another voice "it did seem like it had a tough time, especially with those timber wolfs." Wait...timber wolfs?  You mean those weird wolfs?... that was in the forest... oh great it wasn't a dream.  This was real, and to top it of the unic... wait. I groaned inwardly So I passed out and was brought who knows where by a talking unicorn. Slowly I lift my eyelids, so as to see where I was and who was talking.  I saw what looked like a place for animals, with all the bird houses and that unmistakable scent of animals(You know what that smells like especially those of you with pets).  I came to focus to two colorful hor..er.. pony's.  One was that lavender unicorn that I saw in the forest, the other had a type of yellow fur coat and a pink mane.  The yellow one had...wings? So I am in a place where unicorns and Pegasus exist "So, what do you think Fluttershy?" asked the lavender unicorn. "Have you ever seen an animal like him before?" The yellow one, assuming her name was Fluttershy shook head "I'm sorry Twilight, but I have never seen anything like him" stated Fluttershy Not only do they exist but talk... fascinating actually "You said it talked, right?" asked Fluttershy Twilight nodded.  "He said something about the wolfs re-opening his wounds" "Oh my the poor thing" said Fluttershy  "Is it a him or a her?" she asked Twilight thought for a moment.  "I can't say I know" she said "And with it being a species I have never read about I can't tell from just how it looks" They both stared at me for a moment, not realizing I was awake and eavesdropping into their conversation at this point.  After a couple of seconds they stared at each other again. "May be we should check, as to not be rude once it wakes up and we end up calling it by its opposite gender." stated Twilight, not sure about what she had just suggested. CHECK!?!?!?  I tried not to panic THAT'S RUDE ON ITS OWN!!! ... Fluttershy better disagree I look at Fluttershy who hesitantly nodded "I wouldn't want to be rude on my first impression" WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PONY'S!?!?! I was trying so hard not to panic when I returned my gaze I saw they where on top of my slowly taking of my jeans. THAT'S IT!!! Panicking at this point I'M UP I'M UP "Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, NOPE!" I said repeatedly trying to get these crazy pony's of of me an scooting over to the far end of the couch I was on. Startling them, they quickly backed off.  I stared at both of them... Twilight was looking at the floor making circles with her hoof while flutter shy was trying to hide behind her mane... they where blushing. It was adorable... NO, don't you dare, don't you dare, DON'T... "Aww~" I accidentally said Fucking idiot They both stared at me with a questionable face expression. Not finding any word, I had to explain. "Sorry its just, you two look adorable like that" I said hesitantly. "Couldn't help it..." Both pony's relaxed slightly but their blushed deepened. Twilight was the first to recover and spoke up. "So..um... sleep well?" Twilight asked. Her expression quickly showed that what she said she CLEARLY didn't want to say. I gave her my 'Are you kidding me' face.  I think she got the message seeing her expression. "It was alright" I answered, which clearly caught twilight off guard "Though I would prefer a sleep where a unicorn and Pegasus WASN'T trying to get in my pants" I dead panned. At this point Twilight's face was red and Fluttershy looked like she wanted to be ANYWHERE but here. "You do realize that you could have asked if I was male or female instead of looking yourself" I said to the both of them "It would be understandable since you have never met my species" Realization hit twilight as she finally looked at me "So you heard that huh?" "Yes I heard in on the conversation Twilight" I said She looked at me with a bewildered expression on her face. "How did you..." I cut her off knowing what she would say "I was awake for a several of minutes" I told her "Enough so to know that your names where Twilight and Fluttershy" Fluttershy imidiatly looked up at me at the sound of her name being spoken by me.  I stood up from the couch and began to stretch when pain took over my body forcing me back down on the couch. I sigh "Ow,... everything hurts, ow" The moment I said I was in pain Fluttershy shot up and flew right up to my face "Oh my gosh, are you alright!?" she said while inspecting my wounds "Let me get you something, I'll be right back" she said as she flew off to a different room and came back with a first aid kit "Here let me help you" "No its OK" I said "I have my own first aid kit in the back pack that I..." I thought for a second "Twilight wheres my back pack?" She gave me a puzzled look "Your what?" "My back pack" I said "You know that bag that I had in the cave with survival supplies" I thought "As a matter of fact wheres the hatchet and shield that I ... you know what never mind its not important" I finally said.  She looked at me before brushing it off. "Um, Twilight?" I asked "Yes?" "Can I ask you something..s?" She looked at me before nodding "Sure, but with one condition." "What condition is that?" I asked "The condition that you answer some of my questions to" I nodded "OK, seems like a fair deal" I said while Fluttershy was putting bandages on my wounds. "OK, Don't take this wrong but how are you even here?" she looked at me and blinked in confusion "I mean how are you real?  Unicorns are a myth." She looked at me "What do you mean a myth?  Where did you come from?" she asked "I came from The United States of America" I said "Los Angeles to be exact." She looked at me in confusion "I have never heard of either of those places."  she said "And I have never seen them on the world map" she looked at me with excitement "Are you from another world?" "I don't know, maybe" then I stopped "Where am I exactly?" "Your in Equestria" she said "Ponyvill to be exact" she said trying to mimic my voice. "Never heard of those places..." I was beginning to think about that other worldly theory "So whats this planet called?" "Its called Earth" I wondered about that answer for a few seconds... "Fascinating..." Twilight looked at me "Whats fascinating?" "That's what my planet is called to" I said This seemed to intrigue Twilight while Fluttershy was just about done wrapping my wounds. "I wonder if there are any more similarity between my planet and your planet" I said Twilight nodded and seemed to think the exact same things.  We stayed like this for a moment before Fluttershy spoke up. "Um, if you don't mind me asking, whats your name?" she asked clearly trying to be polite "How rude of me, my name is Daniel" I said "Daniel Grey" Twilight looked at me and smiled "Good to meet you Mr. Grey" "Just Daniel is fine twilight" I said "Mr. Grey is my father" She looked into my eyes and suddenly regret saying it "I'm so sorry" she began as she looked down at the floor.  I gave her a puzzled look. "Sorry for what Twilight?" I asked with no real idea of what she could be sorry about "I'm sorry I reminded you about your father"she said "You must be sad having to leave your family and friends behind" "Not really, no" I said which made Twilight look at me in confusion. "Why not?" she asked "Don't you want to be with them?" I shifted uncomfortably "Not exactly... its complicated I'll tell you later" I said which seemed to put her at ease. Fluttershy who has been very quiet just starring at me spoke up again "Um, Daniel?" she asked "Yes Fluttershy?  What is it?" I asked "I was going to say that your cuts and bruises appear to be some nasty injuries and I was going to say that you should try and not do anything to hard or put weight on you in order to try and heal your cuts" she said "You should probably get some rest to"  "I would let you stay here but I don't have any room and the couch is to small for you, not to mention some of my animals might be frightened.  I'm sorry" I looked at her "Its OK Fluttershy, I understand" I said "You can come with me" Twilight said "I have a guest room where you can sleep" I put my hand on her mane as I looked at her and smiled "Thanks Twilight" I said. As we said our goodbye's to Fluttershy and left I inspected the exterior of the house.  It was a cottage near the forest that I was probably in.  I looked into that forest wondering about those timber wolfs.  As we walked towards Twilight's home we tried to make small talk.  We got to her home that was a tree.  Not a tree house but a literal house carved in the inside of a tree.  As it turns out it was also the towns public library.  As we walked inside Twilight showed me to the guest room where I politely said by and fell on the bed, tired from what had transpired today.  Wondering how I got here; I was in my own world in a fight, there was a lighting storm, after a few minutes there was a bright flash and the next thing I knew i was in a forest.  Just thinking about it gave me a small headache. I'll figure this out tomorrow I thought Right now I just need some sleep //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: A New Day (Part 1) //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: A New Day (Part 1) Chapter 3 A New Day (Part 1) Slowly, I wake up.  Still trying to process what had happened to me yesterday.  I was in a fight, I lost consciousness, I woke up in a forest, fought for my life against wolfs, woke up again in a house that belonged to a Pegasus, and was lent a spare bedroom by a unicorn who lives in a tree/library/house.  As I pay more attention I hear the sound of scribbling to my back.  Slowly I turn around not making a noise.  I see a paper floating in mid air while a quill is writing something on it. Huh? I thought to myself How is it floating, why is it floating? I look behind the paper and I see a lavender unicorn. "Twilight?" I asked.  She flinched, she probably didn't expect me to be awake "What are you doing?" She looks back at me "Oh, I was taking notes on how your species sleeps" "OK..." I said "So, whats with the paper and quill?" "I told you I'm taking notes." "But how is in floating in mid air?" She gave me a puzzled look "Magic, why?" "Oh... there's some kind of string here isn't there"  I said as I proceeded to put my hands around the paper but never touching anything. "Or not..." How the... "OK, twilight how is that floating" I asked again "Like I said, magic" "But magic doesn't exist" She had a baffled expression before proceeding with a are you kidding me face "Of course magic exist, every pony knows that" "No your wrong, magic doesn't exist its fa..." I trailed off, remembering I'm in a world where things that shouldn't be real are real.  I looked at her again "Right new world, so are you doing that?" She nods, her face still holding a puzzled look. "So how are you doing it, I mean sure magic but what, is it like a spell or something?" She nods again "A simple levitation spell" I slightly chuckled at her saying 'simple spell'.  She clearly took notice that I chuckled. "Um, what are you laughing about?" she asked "It's just that my world doesn't have magic" I explained to her as her face suddenly tried to express emotions such as confusion and curiosity.  "And if you could do that on my planet people would think you where some kind of extremely powerful being." "No magic?" she asked "How does your world have NO magic?" "How does YOURS have magic?" "Oh, I see your point." I get up and stretch. Standing up Twilight is at waist level to me. Then I see her giving me a questionable stare. "Even asleep you wear cloths?" she asked staring up at me "Huh?  Well yeah I didn't have any pajamas to sleep in." "Pajamas?" "Yeah, its special cloths that humans wear when they got to  sleep" I responded "But not every one wear pajamas to sleep." She still had that questionable look. "Hu..mans?" Huh, I thought I already talked about this "Yes humans, that what my species is called." I say while she start to write yet again on her paper. "Now can we go down and have breakfast?" "Oh yes of course." she said taking the paper and rolling it up She's not gonna let the ink dry? I thought to myself Or is it some more of this new world shit where my logic wont apply? I follow her out of the guest room I now occupied and went down stairs.  As I went down the stairs a creature caught my eye.  It looked like a purple and green lizard, except it was standing on two legs. "Daniel" said Twilight "I would like you to meet spike, he's my assistant" I couldn't stop starring. "Um, Twilight?" "Yes?" "What is he?" Spike turned and looked at you before speaking up "I would ask the same about you" ... "He talks?" "Daniel, Spike is a dragon." "A dragon?"  I wondered for a moment  "Then shouldn't he have wings or something?" "I'm only a baby dragon" Spike reply's "Once I am older, my wings will start to grow" "OK, seems legit" I said Both Twilight and Spike stare at you "What?" I ask Twilight recovers before Spike could say something. "What is that word?" she asks "What word?" "Legit" she reply's "What does it mean?" Did they not have the word legit here? Interesting. "Legit basically means logical" I said Before she could ask another question my stomach growled, reminding me I haven't had food since the morning back on my world.  Twilight heard this and went into the Kitchen to prepare something.  Her head popped out the door looking at me. "I hope you like pancakes!" she said cheerfully.  Waiting for a response I provide her with one. "I do actually" I said not knowing what else to say. We had breakfast quietly making small talk here and there.  The smell Of freshly made pancaked was mouth watering, I haven't had pancakes in over a year now.  Spike finished early and went to do some of his chores that Twilight had given him.  We sat in silence before I asked something not really thinking ahead. "Hey Twilight" I said breaking the silence "Do you have any bacon?" She stared at me with a look of horror and disbelief. "Y-you mean m-meat?" she asked rather nervously "Well yeah I guess." I replied "I didn't know you where a... a carnivore." she said eyeing me and now seemed to be on alert. "I'm not a carnivore" I said correcting her "I'm an omnivore, I eat both vegetation and meat" Twilight seemed to relax but still a little worried.  Not knowing why she was so tense I ask her to find out if I wasn't supposed to talk about meat. "Um, Twilight.   Why did you tense up when I asked if you had bacon?" I asked She looked at me before responding "It's just that pony's don't really eat meat, we are herbivores" she said "And the thought of you being a carnivore just took me by surprise." she tried to explain She clearly didn't want to have any kind of association with meat.  Taking the hint that carnivores might be rather, unsettling to the pony's, so I see that it would be best if I try to calm her. "I can still go by without any meat" I said "In fact some people back home only ever eat fruits and vegetables, and don't ever eating what was once a live animal." This relaxed and intrigued her.  "We should have a Q & A some day and answer the question's I have about your world" she said She pulled out a calender and skimmed through a few pages until she stopped and began checking while murmuring something under her breath "I have a time of on a Saturday, about three weeks from today" she said "Does that sound good?" "Assuming nothing big happens in those three weeks, I am OK with that" I said She proceeded to write down something on the calender at the out it away.  I kept staring at how she just got the book to appear out of nowhere and vanish into thin air.  Twilight rather obviously caught my gaze and chuckled. "You alright there Daniel?" Snapping out of my trance I come back to reality "Huh?Oh s-sorry Twi, I am just still trying to comprehend that magic exist here" I said She stared at me for a moment, "Did you just cal me... Twi?" Oh shit, did I really say that? "Oh, I'm sorry I just kind of said it.  I didn't really think about it, I'm sorry." I said with an apologetic look. "It's OK, some of my best friends call me Twi" she said "I don't mind you calling me by that name" Wait... did she consider me a friend? I thought We only just met, how does she consider me a friend already?  Or am I missing something here... I was cut of when Twilight suddenly realized something. "My friends!" she yelled "What about them?" I asked ever so slightly startled "They will probably want to meet you!" she replied "Once we are done here we should probably visit them." I nod "Sound like a plan for the day" Going back to out breakfast she seems to have forgotten that I had brought up meat. Too bad I always loved bacon I thought to myself I guess I will have to deal with no more meat and having to take up a vegetarian life style. Getting through with breakfast with little small talk in between bites we soon finished our breakfast. I excused myself to go to the bathroom and wash up. Going upstairs and entering the bathroom, which was small since it was meant for pony's and not humans, I saw a mirror and looked at my reflection. Man, I look like I had just jumped of a train  I thought as I looked at myself My cloths are dirt and my hair is puffing out at random places I sighed Well, at least I didn't bruise my head or arms to badly I washed up and walked down stairs. "Are you ready?" asked twilight who seemed eager to start the day I nod "Sure, sure" I said "Well then, lets get going." Getting ready in the living room/library we talk right before leaving the house "So which on of your friends do you want me to meet first?" I asked "I was thinking you might wont to see Apple Jack" she said "She works in a farm just near the edge of town." A farm? I thought to myself I have always wanted to visit one to see how they manage with the live stick and the plants and fields, though this farm might be different from the one's I hear of. I mentally sighed Either way, a farm is a farm "Sound good Twilight" I said I wonder what this 'Apple Jack' will think of me from being so... alien I thought I have never really cared about how people thought about me but this is a new world, a new species, and something about it seemed to change how I normally feel.  Well, I guess I'll find out once we reach the farm. I open the door to start walking out "OK, I guess you should lead the way then Twili... UMMPPHH" I yelped in pain as something blue crashed into me hard "Oh my gosh!" she yelled in a panic "Daniel are you OK?" I waved to her, signaling that I am OK. "On second thought" said Twilight "Maybe we can start with Rainbow Dash" her voice sounding slightly annoyed. I grunted, the crash NOT helping with my wound pains but I manage.  I slowly got up to my feet as the blue Pegasus stared at me.  I wondered over to the couch and sat down... and so, the day began.
