Fallout Equestria: The Tale of Red Eye

                                                                             Chapter 1 Downfall

"C'mon get up, get up, Red Eye wake up lazy, its time to get up for your party," A mare says pushing Red Eye out of bed, Red Eye immediately wakes up upon impact with the floor. He rubs his eyes and his head as he tries to get up.

"Did you have to roll me off the bed like that?" Red Eye asks as he rubs his head, looking up at the light blue earth pony, her blonde mane hanging over one of her eyes.

"How else was I suppose to get you up? Anyways ready for your cutie mark party? I wonder what implant you will get. All I got were these stupid metal ears, I know they say appreciate your robotic parts but how the heck is metal ears going to help me do my job? The mare says as she walks up to Red Eye's door opening it.

"Fine, but next time, Sound Wave don't push me on the floor or I will really make use of you ear, ok?" Red Eye gets up and walks to the door that enters the main hallway.

"Deal, just hurry up your going to be late, I don't want you to be late," Sound Wave gestures Red Eye out and they walks out of his room. The door closes behind them and they walk to the Elevator.

"So... How did you sleep," Sound Wave tries to strike up some conversation with Red Eye as the walk down the hallway and into the elevator to the upper floor.

Red Eye pushes the button to the 2nd level and the elevator begins to move and Red Eye replies "I slept fine till you woke me up, but i am just nervous for some reason," Red Eye tries his best to keep his composure.

"Is it about the surgery they will have to do to you?" Sound Wave hugs Red Eye trying to calm him down.

"Yeah, I got my cutie mark because of my thing for detail. What kind of special talent is that, detail seems cool but what good is it," Red Eye looks at his flank, his cutie mark depicting a half robot half pony eye. The elevator stops as they arrive at the 2nd level of Stable 101. Red Eye steps out and walks to the Dinner

"Well Red Eye," She says as she gets up "You can probably use it to make Equestria a better place if the Overmare opens the door that is," Sound Wave walks out of the elevator following Red Eye. They walks for a few minutes in silence as the reach the Dinner.

"Well here we go," Sound Wave opens the door as all the lights flash on at once. Inside the Dinner the Overmare and a bunch of close friends are inside.

"Surprise!" Everypony in the room yells at once. Two ponies approach Red Eye both carrying something.

"Hello there Red Eye here this is for your," The Overmare says as she gives him a Pip Buck. The other pony made of metal with a pony head sticking out with tracks instead of hooves extends one of his arms showing Red Eye his cybernetic implant. Red Eye looks at the piece of cybernetics, a robotic eye with a red screen.

"After this party you are schedule for your implant, enjoy the party Red Eye," The Overmare walks away to talk to the other guests. Red Eye sits down in a chair and lays his head down on the counter.

Sound Wave sits next to him "Hey, c'mon don't be sad, I don't like it when your sad, it will be over before you know it c'mon I will walks with you there," Sound Wave gets up with Red Eye as the walk over to the Cyber Lab.

"I will wait for you here ok," Sound Wave says as Red Eye walks into the lab and the door closes behind him.

10 years passed after that day and Sound Wave and Red Eye became distant they stopped talking after their jobs separated them, Red Eye got assigned to work on the cybernetics and Sound Wave became a security guard to the Stable using her cyber ears to make to listen in on ponies . Within those several years Red Eye was know to see that faults in the Overmare's leadership. Red Eye began to ask the Overmare to open the door to help the ponies of Equestria but it was to no avail. The Overmare continued to reject the ideas of of opening up until the one day Red Eye had enough of the Overmare telling him what he could and couldn't do.

"Oh whats taking her so long," Red Eye starts to tap his hoof impatiently. The sound of running hooves is heard in the distance as Sound Wave is seen running from 3 stallions in leather jackets.

"Get Back here!" A Stallions voice is heard echoing down the halls.

"Help me!" Sound Wave screams running past Red Eye. Red Eye holds on of his hooves out tripping one of the 3 stallions running after Sound Wave, Red Eye roles his eye as he sees him fall and trip the other 2.

"Hey! What do you think your doing?" The Stallion asks as he gets up and glares angry at Red Eye.

"Protecting the ones who mean the most to me," Red Eye replies giving him a cold stare.

"Do you even know who I am?"  The Stallion says as he returns the glare trying to hold his ground.

"Should I? To me you look like a pony who just causes trouble to try to get what you want because you don't want to work, also your little gang or whatever you want to call it seems to like fight other ponies. Am I right?" Red Eye says as he begins to scan him with his cyber eye to look for a weakness.

"Hmph, you don't know us then, well then this here on my right thats colt with the black mane is Gears, on my right thats Gizmo, they are twins they look the same except for their eyes they really hate being mixed up the blue eyes is Gears and  Gizmo has grey eyes. And me my name is Puppet, I have a cyber horn while Gears has a cyber leg and Gizmo has cyber wings and a full metal body, together we form the Tunnel Colts," Puppet says as he lifts his hooves up to make things dramatic.

"Uh huh, Tunnel Colts eh? Well that mare behind me is my friend Sound Wave you are going to get through me first, I don't care who you are but I will tell you, that you will not get by me easily," Red Eye says as he pushes Puppet back.

"Fine by me I will beat you myself I don't need them to win anyways," Puppet says as he starts to charge up his magic.

"So you think," Red Eye backs up as his cyber eye picks targets his horn as his weak spot. From there Puppet fires a bolt of magic towards Red Eye, Red Eye on the other hoof ready for the attack moves out of the way and runs straight up to Puppet punching him right in the jaw.

"Lucky bastard, now I will show you why they call me Puppet," Puppet charges his horn up and surrounds Red Eye with magic, he takes control of Red Eye slamming him into walls and indirectly Gears. Red Eye trying to find a way to get out of his magical grip thinks a moment as his eye scans the horns battery level as it is shown to be running low.

"Coward using magic to beat me," Red Eye yells as he is slammed into the floor. Puppet begins to laugh as he is tries to slam Red Eye into the wall again but is unable, Puppets smug face drops into fear. Red Eye laughs as he approaches Puppet and grabs his head smashing his horn into the wall breaking it.

"Remember this day Puppet and if I ever catch you hunting down Sound Wave I will make sure you don't get up. Got it!" Red Eye says as Puppet tries to crawl away. Gears panics at this sight and runs away. Gizmo gives a angry stare at Red Eye until he walks away.

"Sound Wave are you ok?" Sound Wave gets up from off the floor and hugs Red Eye. Tears stream down the side of her face.

"Thank you Red Eye, those horrible bunch have been harassing me for year, now I hope they won't bother me again," Sound Wave hugs Red Eye tighter.

"What did you do to make them angry?" Red Eye asks as he hugs her back.

"Well, it started when they started causing trouble and I trashed their rep, so they actually showed up and started harassing me. Today I had enough and I hit Gizmo and Puppet with my record discs and now here we are," Sound Wave says as  she takes her hooves off Red Eye and looks at his cyber eye. "How is your uh... eye working for you?"

"Well its cool and its like a Pip Bu-," Red Eye is interrupted by Sound Wave kissing him. Sound Wave breaks the kiss blushing bright red. "S-Sound Wave, just wow," Red Eye scrambling to find something to say.

"I heard about your plans to escape the Stable Red Eye, and I want in," Sound  Wave says she hugs him again.

"Wait how did you kn-, you used your ears to spy on me again didn't you," Red Eye face hoofs.

"I also know you share the same feels for me as I do for you," Sound Wave says as she gets up.

"Well the Overmare is being to closed minded as well as some of the other ponies here. They don't see that we need to go out and remake Equestria as it once was. Doctor Glue and Doc S are helping us out along with their new cyber dog creation, I call him Winter but Doc S just tends to call him subject 141. We plan on escaping tomorrow morning, just meet us at the door we will be out shortly we got to get the codes to the door, I will see you tomorrow ok," Red Eye gives Sound Wave a short kiss before he walks back to his room.

Early the next morning the plan was executed the three met together and Red Eye was sent to get the codes while the others were sent to kill the others except Sound Wave. Red Eye approaches the door to the Overmare's office and from there things take a turn for the worse. He drops his saddle bags before walking in.

"No going back," Red Eye opens the door. Inside the Overmare is eating breakfast as she notices Red Eye walking in.

"Red Eye what a unexpected surprise," the Overmare says sarcastically. "What  do you want this time, if its about us opening the door the answer is no," the Overmare sits at her desks as Red Eye approaches her.

"No no, I am not here for that," Red Eye slips a neurotoxin into the Overmares water," as he puts his hooves on the desk, "Give me the codes to the door and I will leave by myself and you won't have to worry about me ever again," Red Eye tries to use his persuasion to get past her to her terminal.

"No, I won't give you the codes," The Overmare takes a sip of her water and begins to choke, she grabs her Stable mic "Security" she yells faintly as she suffocates.

"They won't be coming Overmare, they have been taken care of and anyone who was in the dinner shares the same fate as you" Red Eye looks at the Overmare watching her suffer until she dies. Red Eye laughs as he starts to hack into the Overmare's terminal to get the codes. After a few minutes of hacking the terminal unlocks as he loads the codes into his Pip Buck. A audio file with the code loads into the Pip Buck. Red Eye plays the audio file a soft high pitch voice saying "The passcode to the Stable 101 door Castle1"

"Perfect, Now then to meet them at the door," Red Eye walks out of the Overmares office grabbing his saddle bags in the way out and down the hallways dead ponies lie brutally murdered. As Red Eye walks past Medical he notices all the equipment is gone only clipboards and trash remain. Dead security guards lay dead in the hallways. Red Eye picks up a revolver that has a engraving on the barrel that says 'Sweet Melody'. On the handle of the gun a treble clef is engraved on it.

"This is a unique weapon, hmm lets she what it does," Red Eye picks up the weapon in his mouth and fires it using the grip. The gun simultaneously fires a second shot with the first shot.

"Hmm, this thing has a double tap trigger," Red Eye searches the bodies for ammo before leaving to go to the stable door. At the Stable door Doctor Glue, Doc S, Winter and Sound Wave are waiting.

"There you are we have been waiting for you," Doc S says "Give me the password I will open the door,".

"Why should he open the door I pretty much did all the work," Doctor Glue says moving in front of Doc S.

"Neither of you will open the door Doc S might break the panel and you well I don't have a reason but no" Red Eye enters the code into the console. Lights start to flash as the giant metal screwdriver like thing hooks into the door. As it gets pulled back Sound Wave covers her ears from how loud it. Then the door roles off to the side.

"Their now was that so hard" Red Eye says as he begins to walk out of the door.

"Eh who is that behind you Red Eye?" Doctor Glue asks as he looks at the cyber pony behind him.

"Who?" Red Eye turns around seeing who it is.

"Gizmo, my finest works I might just say a cyber pegasus, he was the only one to survive the process, such a shame the others didn't make it, but we can't all be winners right," Doc S says as he approaches Gizmo.

"Red Eye I know what you did, there may have been other ways of doing this but thank you, the Overmare had security kill my brother 3 years ago, I wish it was me who killed her, I owe you," Gizmo says as he walks up to Red Eye.

"Gizmo I want you to do me a favor, I want you to take Doc S and Doctor Glue to um what was the cities name?" Red Eye sits down to think.

"Fillydelphia!" Doctor Glue yells from behind Red Eye.

"Hey! I thought we agreed on Hoofington, it has better  development there for weapons," Doc S says as he begins to argue with Doctor Glue

"Yeah but Fillydelphia is where the weapons were made, they researched them there and had them make it in Fillydelphia so its most likely that Fillydelphia has more of what we need to rebuild," Doctor Glue argues back.

"How about this, Gizmo takes you two to Fillydelphia while I get some ponies to salvage part of Hoofington and bring it there," he says super irritated. "Sound Wave and Winter will come with me, I will see you when I get back," Red Eye says as he begins to walk out of the Stable. After fifteen minutes of walking they reach the end of the cave.

They appear to be inside the ruins of a old castle. Torn banners and paintings are littered all over the walls and floors, skeletons of dead ponies litter the hallways, shattered glass lays all over the floor from the windows that lead to the outside. They continue to walk down the long hallway till the reach the throne room. One throne remains as the other is crushed by a piece of the roof the collapsed. Half of the wall has been destroyed and part of the roof is missing. From there then walk out through what remained of the giant majestic doors that once stood in splendor but now stand burnt and full of holes.

"This is where we part ways, I will see you in Fillydelphia," Red Eye begins to check his Pip Buck map looking for any settlements close by. "There is a marker for a city close to here but it doesn't have a name, well I guess we are heading there first. We have to head east from here Sound Wave, there is a unknown settlement nearby,"

From there Gizmo took Doctor Glue and Doc S south towards Fillydelphia, Red Eye took Sound Wave and Winter east to the unknown settlement and from here on out there is no turning back.
