Proud of Nothing

Sketchbook was a new foal in Ponyville. After his dad moved too show off some his art; Sketchbook was sent to the local school. Sketchbook was a shy filly and missed his friends back in Manehatten. He went to school and found three other fillies being laughed at by the others.

He over heard the words "blank flank" ,and instantly knew why they were being made fun of.They weren't the only fillies who were claimed as "blank flanks". He was called a "blank flank" in his old school. He pushed through the crowd blocking shouting "Just because they don't have cutie marks doesn't mean you can make fun of them!" One them said" Well looks like we have another blank flank." She had a pink coat with a purple and white mane. Another that had a grey coat with a lighter grey mane added on with a yeah! "Leave them alone!" Sketchbook responded furiously. "What's going on here?" Cheerilee ,the teacher, asked. "I....I was just." Sketchbook stammered. "He was just trying to defend us." the yellow and red one of the group replied, "Well then I am sorry for being so rude what is your name young one?" Cheerilee asked Sketchbook. "Sketch..Sketchbook." he replied slowly. "Well then off to class." Cheerilee told us.

As we made our way to the class room the yellow filly introduced herself and her friends" I'm Applebloom and they're Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle." she said, pointing towards the orange Pegasus and the white unicorn. Hey who were those two that were bulling you guys? She explained to him that the pink one was Diamond Tiara, and that the grey one was Silver Spoons. "Maybe we can hang out after class?" she asked, "Sure!" Sketchbook replied, and with that they went to class.

    During class Sketchbook learned addition and he doodled. It was one of the funner things to waste time with. He really like to draw pictures of the dreams he had. One time he drew a picture of an invention his friend Engiminer thought of, it was designed to let earth ponies and unicorns fly without magic. He called it an aeroplane it was just a blueprint though. He still kept in contact with another invention that actually worked he called it the walkie talkie. He was a great inventor and Sketchbook loved to test the inventions.

Once he made it home he walked inside his new home he shouted "Dad?" No response,

he walked further into the house to the kitchen. he opened the fridge and grab some stuff to make a sandwich"You called son?" "Yeah can i go to a friend's house?"

"Sure, remember to come home for dinner."

"I will dad I'm not a kid!" Snapped Sketchbook, Just as he finished making his sandwich he stuffed it in his bag, and he was off.

Sketchbook was new to town and well he got lost. What do you expect from him? He just moved so not a shocker that he asked for directions. He met an interesting brown stallion that called himself The Doctor; after meeting The Doctor who in turn didn't really know the town either. He met a pink pony called Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie knew the town ,and was happy to show Sketchbook the way to Sweet Apple Acres. Unfortunately for Sketchbook she wanted to throw him a party and well yeah he got side tracked.
