I could hear Cadence crying on the other side of the door. She was worried for her Shining. It's been a month now since he was given a task by Celestia. Shining sends her letters telling her that he is ok and it is just evil coming back for seconds. However she couldn't stop crying over him. Shining asked me to watch over Cadence before he left. Since he is a bro I accepted.

I couldn't handle hearing this any more I had to do something. I knock on her door. No answer. I test the handle. Not locked. I open the door and close it behind me. I almost slipped once I entered as the floor was covered in wet tissues. I saw Cadence in the middle of her bed. Muzzle in pillow.

I went over and sat next to her. "Cadence." No answer again. "Cadence look at me."

"Go...AWAY!!!" I almost jumped out of the window after hearing her act like that.

"Cadence I just want to say one thing...There is no need to cry. There is no need to fear. Shining will make it through. You know why?" I heard her mumble something. "Cause his love will keep him strong...and he is to stubborn to die." I couldn't quite tell but I think I made her smile.

After a moment of silence I took Cadence wish and went towards the door. "Wait..." I turn and saw Cadence looking at me. "Why are you helping me? I treat you with less respect because of how you made my Aunties feel and yet you still help me. Why?"

I went and sat next to her. "Cause Shining told me to look after you. He is my bro and we help each other. However Cadence. Sure you treat me differently but I didn't care as I knew why you were. Cadence...you didn't treat me how Celestia and Luna did." I can't believe I'm about to say this. She is going to kill me with lovely stuff. "You are my friend and I help my friends. I always put them before me...unless it's love."

Cadence was giving me the puppy eyes. "Really?" I nod. I could tell her gears in her head were turning. Before I knew it the gun was set off. She leapt into my laps and gave me the most spine breaking, air taking hug ever. I tired to get out but she didn't let go.

I'm going to kill that Shining.

Let's just say I became her...eh...huggy bear...Ew!

Days went by after the moment and Shining came back. In no harm at all... Cadence became my friend. Good right? Nope. Higher level of Lovely stuff. My lady mare went all over me after I told her. She kept calling a me an angle. I don't mind cause I love her and she loves me.

Now I was in the school telling the fillies one of my made up stories. They love every one of them. I had two fillies on my lap while the rest were on the floor watching and listening. "The villain was now on top of our hero! His laughter echoing through out the room. He raised his sword above our hero and."

"Tell us! Tell us!" They cried out.

"That's for part two." I gently drop the two fillies on the floor while I listen to their moaning. I love leaving them in suspense. The teacher then led them outside of the room while I proceed to go outside. The air smelled fresh. The sky was clear. The sun was shining...the sun...sun.

"Celestia...YOU DID WHAT!"

I need to stop thinking of those times... I have a party to get ready for.

After a while of walking I arrived at my destination. I went inside the place I have been many times. "Hello anyone home?" A flash of green suddenly jumped into my face.

"Andvari!!! Your finally here. I got you suit ready! Boy what you made me design must be my greatest work!" I knew that voice. My eyes adjusted to the blur and I saw miss Quick Hoof. Definition of her. Almost Pinkie Pie. Now I never met Pinkie and the other five. They are heroes of Equestria. However I heard about them and I'm sacred that she is going to jump out of nowhere and demand a late welcome party.

That's why I don't go to Ponyvillie...oh wait there are other reasons like... I don't want Rainbow to bother me since I met and befriended the Wondebolts. Don't want to deal with Rarity if she is like the Canterlot ponies. Fluttershy due to my...meat eater side. Applejack because of an mission. They needed some materials in the Everfree forest. However they couldn't enter it for some reason. So she asked Celestia who sent me and some guards to do the job. What they didn't tell me was that they pissed off the forest. The guards and I got what we came for to only escape with our lives...barely.

I was in hospital for a week while the others only needed a day or two. Because those ponies didn't tell me what we were getting was TOXIC!!! Why did an apple farm need this?

Lastly Twillight...I don't want to be a test subject. No but or why. Don't even say those words. I want nothing to do with it.

I thank my suit creator and picked up the bag containing my suit. I left and started walking towards my mare house.

"We come out on three right?"

"Yes dear"

"1..2..3!" Me and my mare jump out from the curtains to show each other our clothes.

"You look beautiful!" We both cried out. We giggle at out remarks but I couldn't stop starting at my mare. See wore a light blue dress with a white swirl going across. Followed with her hair tied up and glass shoes. It went so well with her blue fur and pink mane. I could tell she loved my suit. I had ask Quick Hoof to make it for me. A black suit followed with an outline of gold. Followed by white shirt underneath and white gloves. My lower half consists of black pants and black, shiny shoes. Made especially from me. I wore my special necklace that my mare had given me but it was tucked into my collar. It was a heart locket that had a picture of us hugging inside.

"My lady." I called while reaching out a hand. My mare giggled and put a hoof in my hand. I led her outside of my mare house and into the streets where the party was held. This party was made to Celebrate the defeat of king Sombra. It was held in the streets for all to enjoy.

The day was wonderful from there on out. We laughed, we smiled, we hugged, we teased but we did it together. Then one moment did it all. We were on the dance floor that was held near the Crystal heart. We were having fun. Then the song suddenly ends. We then herd the DJ say this was the last song of the night. Then a slow dance song came on.

I was about to go off the dance floor when I felt a hoof on my back. I turned and saw my mare with pleading eyes. I can't say no to her. She got up on her hind legs as I grab her hooves and rested them on my shoulders. I rest my hands on her hips. We let the music guide us as we stare into each other's eyes. Life was perfect now. The night was pure. The party was pure. My mare was pure. The song ended but before it did I gave her a kiss on her muzzle. She didn't hold back.

That was the best moment of the night. After that I took my lady home. I wanted to stay with her but my guard duties needed me at the castle tomorrow bright and early. I wished her night and gave her a quick peck on her muzzle. I fell straight to sleep when I hit my bed in the north guards resting quarter. Lucky a lot of the guards were asleep or out. So I could get a good night of sleep.

Nothing could go wrong. Life is perfect.

I woke up to the sounds of shouting. What is going on? I got out off bed and notice there were no guards inside. What is the time? I walk over to the close window. I open it to wish I didn't. I saw smoke and fire emitting from the south while hearing a guard scream. "We under attack! They are pushing through from the south!"

South...

South...

Doesn't some mare live there?
