Oh, I do love the way the sun reflects onto the city, giving the whole of Northen Equestria a rainbow of colour. "Oooh! We're almost here!" Pinkie sings out and smiles at the others, and they smile back. Of course they should be happy. It's another trip to the Crystal Empire and another visit to Princess Cadence, the strong crystal princess, Princess Luna, ruler of the night and dreams, and Her royal majesty Princess Celestia, ruler of the sun and the whole of Equestria. But it's different for me. Only a month back was I a normal librarian and a protégé to Princess Celestia and having 5 wonderful friends. Then I cast a spell and accidentally changed their destinies. I still have nightmares about having their personalities switched forever. Then, I created new magic that can create magic and friendship,  and I found myself in limbo with the Princess, who then transformed me into an alicorn and therefore, behold Princess Twilight Sparkle. And I'm scared. Scared of being a ruler in front of everypony, and I'm not even a real princess. The princesses not being pleased with me. The crown doesn't even look good on me. They just fixed my element gem onto a different crown. It always feels loo- " hey Twi! Turn that frown upside down! We're here!" Pinkie's voice sings out. I get up and plaster a smile on my face. As I get out of the car, some crystal ponies bow down and push the others who aren't down. I dismiss them, telling them to stand up. The others smile. Carrying our saddlebags, we walk through a deserted street. Although I was glad to get to see the princesses, I wasn't too interested in the idea of a Royal summit. What are we going to talk about? Taxes? Laws? Land ownership? Li- "Twi! Did you hear my question?" AJ raises her voice slightly. " huh? Wha-?" I fumble. " ah! So excited, she's wrapped up in her own little thoughts!" She grins, and the other laugh. I laugh forcefully and walk forwards. " yeah, I'm excited, but honestly, I'm also pretty nervous. I mean-" "You're nervousited!" Pinkie cut me off. We all stop and stare at her, quizzically. "Nervousited?" Fluttershy asks timidly. Everypony looks puzzled. " yeah! It's like, I dunno, sour lemon drops! They're totes amaze, but they're super sour!!" Pinkie gobbles on. We've long since paid attention to Pinkie's 'Philosophy'. Suddenly, two marshmallowy hooves, belonging to Rarity, pull my head down in a panic. "darling, sweetness, I just seem to have noticed that you aren't wearing your gloriously beautiful tiara!" Rarity gushes. Then, she looks into my eyes sternly, " you've left it back home, haven't you? Eh? EH?" Her outbreak frightens me, but I reply, coolly as ever. " it's in my bags," I gesture towards my pull away trunk, which my baby dragon assistant  pokes softy. I wonder how it feels, having scratchy, sharp claws, instead of soft hooves - Not noticing the way I walk, I bump into the crystal walls of the palace. "Shit…" I mumble, embarrassed and disoriented. Walking into the palace, I yet again become so bemused, that I look at the crystal walls, and not the guard pony in front of me. "Aw shit!" I mumble, angry that it happened yet again, and look up at the pony I bumped into. And I look into those beautiful blue eyes. My heart misses a couple of beats. As soon as I realise what I'm doing, I blush fervently and smile awkwardly. This handsome stallion of a lemony orange shade, with a layered blue mane, affixed in a hopelite style, also blushes and smiles sweetly. He nudges me to the side and announces: " you are now in the presence of Her Royal Highness, Princess Twilight Sparkle!" He purrs loudly, rather than shouts. I canter towards my favourite sister- in -law, and before we do anything else, we start to dance: Sunshine, sunshine, Ladybugs awake, Clap your hooves and do a little shake! We laugh together and embrace, while Princess Luna and Princess Celestia walk towards us.
