The Arrival Of Meta
     "AAAAAHHHHHH! I can't wait!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie, jumping around in the Ponyville Library.
     "Calm down, Pinkie Pie. What's got you so worked up? And it better not be a sugar rush." said the purple unicorn. "I've heard enough about those in a lifetime." She giggled. Pinkie Pie stopped in her tracks, a little surprised.
     "Y...You didn't hear? OH MY! I can't believe you don't know! It's only been the talk of EVERYPONY in town! A new pony is going to be staying here for a long while. From what I heard, she's from Manehattan, is a Pegasus, and is famous in the big ol' cities for her video game techniques!" The pink pony started jumping up and down again.
     "Really!? A Pegasus? I wonder how fast a flyer she is. I wonder if her wingpower can reach up to Rainbow Dash's. When did she get her cutie mark?" Twilight Sparkle kept babbling on and on and on about everything she was going to ask this new pony when she arrives. But it's not like Pinkie Pie was actually listening. She almost never listens to Twilight babble. "And then, maybe we could go to that new place around the corner, and also the-" Twilight Sparkle was cut off. By that sound....of trumpets? "She must be REALLY famous!" thought the daydreaming pony.

     By the time the trumpets stopped trumpeting and the dancers stopped dancing, every single pony in Ponyville had gathered in Towne Square to catch a glimpse of the brand new Pegasus. Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack all made it up to the front of the crowd. There was something else. A limo! Gasps ran crazily through the crowd of ponies. And then a chauffeur! The chauffeur trotted confidently to the doors of the limo. He opened it, and somepony walked out. More gasps emerged from the huge clump of everypony. Applejack was the first to see that a pony was getting out of the car. More and more ponies started to see the glossy white coat, the blue raspberry blue mane and tail, and the sight of the Pegasus.
     Rainbow Dash had to peek. She flew straight up into the air, and disappointment struck her. "Guys. We've seen her 20 million times. It's just Vinyl Scratch." The Rainbow-Haired Pegasus's feet touched the ground again as everypony around the 6 friends started to groan frustratingly and walked away to back what they were doing. In only a few minutes, all that was left of the Square was the Mane 6 and the limousine. Then something awesome happened. The limo door opened again, and the most beautiful mare stepped out. Twilight and her friends-except Rainbow Dash-was focused on her lavender coat, glossy black mane, and her amazing Triforce cutie mark. Rainbow Dash, of course, was focused on her full-of-feather wings. "Can she fly fast?" wondered the mare.
     Immediately, as if she were a regular pony, the beautiful pegasus trotted to the ponies in awe, and said, "You don't have to look at me like that. I'm just a normal pony. You know, 16.5 wingpower, high scores on old games, and the life of the party! Nopony can beat me in partying! Oh yeah, i'm Metallique Lillypad Firedance Soarspeed Triforcialla. But you can call me Meta." She turned to the pink pony, shocked at her party comment, and said, "You look like competition for parties. Is that right?"
Pinkie Pie almost fainted.
