Resistance

The city was in full reconstruction, carpenters and painter ran brought the streets trying to fix and repair homes. The rebels were treated to dinner and awarded a medal. They enjoyed the meal beyond belief because of the fresh Vegetables and fruits. Considering the rebels didn't have any fresh foods because of the combine, it was like god sent them here for a long vacation. Their skills wouldn't get rusty and they have a major tactical advantage, what with guns. Luckily, the rebels were never spotted by the ponies except the guards and whoever they talked to. The other nobles who did see them are probably too scared to remember.

“This is amazing.” Chris said, taking a chunk out of the caesar salad.

“Tell me about it.” Noah said, biting into an apple so full of liquids that he practically melted at the flavour. The princesses sat at the top of the stairs and the majority of Canterlot was eating in the huge area. Most of them away from the rebels. They didn't really care, they've seen weirder shit. The only ponies not afraid to sit near the. Were their fellow Canterlot defenders and the 6 ponies they first met.

“So… Where do you come from?” Twilight asked Amanda from across the table, Amanda was pretty bored after she ate all the food at her table. The colourful crew never stood a chance.

“Hell.” Amanda said, barley looking at Twilight.

“Um… I mean really. You're definitely not from Equestria.” Twilight said, getting serious.

“Fine. Me and my ‘friends’ are from planet earth. A planet far more advanced then here. We didn't have magic…” As soon as Amanda said that Twilights eyes widened and before she could go into a rant about how they were more advanced if they didn't have magic, but Amanda placed a finger over her mouth a mouthed a shhh…

“… We did everything with science! Our world had a lot of countries, but they were always fighting. Canada and America were best friends though. Anyways, the combine show up after a major problem at a science facility called black Mesa. The whole place released monster from a place called Zen into our world and the place was demolished. Turns out they were forced into our world by the combine. An even more advanced alien race. They saw where they went and followed through into our world. And thus the 7 hour war. A where the combine destroyed our whole planets army's and took control. And were the rebels. The good guys. The people who don’t like having a bedtime. People who don’t like getting beaten on a daily basis. Eventually we started the uprising with the help of Gordon Freeman, one if the soles survivors of black Mesa. We destroyed the citadel, the combines main command centre and we were faith in the explosion. Now were here.” Amanda finished, looked at the other ponies. The rainbow one looked pretty excited and amazed, and the yellow one looked scared.

“That’s awful… And you said that the combine are here? They attacked you when you were repelling the attack?” Twilight said, scared for he safety of Equestria.

“Blah blah blah, what was that awesome flying thing?!” The rainbow one shot up into Amanda's face. Shocking her at the high speed of the pounce.

“That was… A hunter… Chopper… Anyways, what to get introduced to the stupid squad? That's what they called me, Noah and Dan back in the war.” Amanda said, getting out of the chair and walking over the the others. Followed by the ponies. They were unsure of if they wanted to, considering the intimidating blades and size of H.

“Alright idiots, LINE UP!” At that, everyone lined up at lighting speed, even putting the pony version of sanic in awe.

“INTRODUCTION!” Amanda yelled , walking in front of Noah in the line, promoting him to give his short biography.

“Noah Price, Heavy weapons! Born in North Carolina, USA.”

Amanda continued walking forwards.

“Dan Schmidt, Tech! Born in Toronto, Canada.”

“Damian Ghale, Sniper! Born in Berlin, Germany.”

“Chris Sky, Engineer! Born in City 17. Before the suppression field…”

Amanda walked over to H and the vort.

“This is a hunter, we just call him ‘H’. Originally combine controlled he's now helping us. If he wasn't we’d be long dead. And this is a vortiguant. Aliens from Zen who joined our fight and can sense some pretty awesome shit.” Amanda said, getting a happy beep from H and a bow from the vort.

“Greetings.” The vort got back up.

“More griffons incoming! They regrouped!” A taller guard in purple armour said from the doors to the courtyard. All the guards flipped on their armour and ran out the door to fortify the city.

“Back in to the frying pan.” The rebels packed up their guns and jogged back out to the radio container.

“This is the rebels! Does anyone read us? Were pinned down by the bird thing inside the city YU told us to go too, please send help!”

“This is Dan, I'm here! You need to make you're way up the main street, were sending a hunter synth into the city to assist you, don’t kill it. Its name is H. We also have a chopper that will give you some support while heading too us, try not to die and don’t kill the horses in armour. They're our allies.”

“Roger that, this is the 40, moving to you ASAP!”
