Rarity gives Sweetie Belle a bed time story
It was silent outside as everyone was asleep. The birds were resting. The wind was calm. The only house with light for a distance was Rarity's boutique.
In a small room, a cute little filly was nuzzling in bed. She had her sister right over her eyeing her with a smile.
"Thank you for the milk Rarity," Sweetie Belle said. "Can you please turn on the lamp."
"Yes of course," Rarity said sweetly turning the lamp on.
"Oh and uh thanks for helping me get out of that...mess earlier." Sweetie said. She had been caught in a taped kite that was caught in a tree.
"Anytime," Rarity said walking out of the room. "Good night"
"Um...can I...uh...have a bed time story?" Sweetie asked. Rarity stopped and turned around to face Sweetie.
"Oh Sweetie, I'm afraid I don't have any in mind. I'm not good at creating them." She smiled.
Sweetie Belle suddenly had eyes as big as hooves. Her lips turned out and started to quiver. As if Princess Luna was given a cue sparkles from the moon shined on Sweetie Belle.
Rarity was Powerless.
"Oh...You're truely one of a kind. Um...once in Canterlot-" She started.
"Nooo...I've heard of Luna's late night roams."
"Well...a long time ago-"
"I've heard of the cold night in Manehatten."
"Why not-"
"The sleepless nights of the three dragons too." Sweetie said. "It's Spike's favorite."
Rarity had barely started and was already failing. She knew Sweetie may bug her all night if she did not make it. So she pulled a book from the bookshelf Not On Fimfiction and began reading.
Three neighboring customers

On quiet day a salescolt was walking.
Stopping anypony and giving a chat not a stalking.
"Buy it please it's the best catching net.
I guarantee you will never forget."
On Cakeberry street lived three different fillies.
Stirring up chimney fires, fighting the chillies.
One house on the left lived a red head earth pony.
Confident to face any mean phony.
The salescolt came and arrived with a knock.
The filly came to the door and made it unlock.
She open the door to see a lack of denile.
Instead she found a very big smile.
"Hello madam,sir,insert name here.
I bring a gift certain to give cheer.
It carries money,food,and oven mits
And all it cost is 15 bits.
I have this as my wish just for the day
Please humor this colt. What do you say?"
The filly turned and reached not far.
She turned back with honey in a jar.
"Sorry sir but I've been given a plea.
To never scare my house guest the butterfly,bird and tiny bee.
Every night they pray to Celestia
'Don't make me face my agoraphobia.'
As you can see,tell and do not forget
I cannot buy your net.
The salesmcolt's smile turned to a frown.
"Ok that's all right I'll maybe try next town.
I quest, a journey, what's a synonym for duty.
To make one more sale. That's how I got my cutie.
He trotted on to the next house and bid the first filly farewell.
Surly the next house would give him a sell.
With a smile he knocked on the door.
It was open by the filly. She wondered what's in store.
She was young with a color of orange and purple things that didn't rhyme.
she was gazed the colt just wondering what was taking up time.

"I'm sorry but I'm a pegasus respecting what's free.
I've sworn never to trap anything with sites to see.
I'm sorry as this is unfortunate and not in favor.
Now I must return to my ice cream it's my favorite flavor.
I must be quick so it will no melt into milk and then become cheese.
I've promised myself not to welcome mice with a ton of fleas.
The salescolt understood with a growth in doubt.
He knew of the situation to keep any the vermin out.
He then agreed and took everything into account.
He realized once more the hill he will have to mount.
His watch rang and the salescolt ran in a jog.
He was now on break so he watch a cute hog.
He sat with low faith he felt he was in utter doom.
He felt he would never escape the gloom.
He pulled out a sandwich with lettuce,onions, and a sliced pickle.
Suddenly a pig spotting his sandwich brought him a nickel.
The salescolt denied his plea and came close to a nibble.
Looking adorable the pig let his lip dribble.
A tap on his back the salecolt detected.
He then found out how the situation was affected.
It was no hoofball but pigskin flew.
He turned back and got a clue.
He realized everything went wrong.
That pile of bacon stole his foot long.
He arose with courage and had an epiphany.
His roaring stomach though scared a young girl named Tiffany.
"I've learned the solution and I have the best hunch."
All this cause the colt lost his lunch.
He arrived at the third door, trying to make the sale.
He was sure to do any thing but fail.
A filly stepped out as a sight to see.
She proved to be as cute as can be.
"I've faced reasons today.
I'll admit it I must say.
But a pig stole my meal.
I have the power to make a deal.

I simply have no desire of anything to buy."
The salescolt frowned this was his last chance and he seemed to have failed.
He was now lacking joy and doubted he was upset enough some people thought he should have bailed.
The filly then spoke again for a few words more.
A little silly though because rhyming is a chore.
"I wish not to upset you with sadness or...rage.
But I wish for you to get your...minimum wage.
I'll buy the net and use it over the nation.
Besides good sir, you need a vacation."
He looked sad and faced the ground.
Then shot up at the speed of sound.
He was amazed he finally made his sale.
He thought he'd be ashamed forever and resign in the mail.
He gave her a net with a grin on his cheeks.
He looked like it would last for at least 2 weeks.
He collected his profit and bid her goodbye.
He jumped around in a manner as if he could fly.
He walked on to the sunset even though it was barely noon.
He knew he would be back to work soon.
His journey back to his office was a little long.
But he kept smiling feeling nothing can go wrong.
The lesson here reader is its not easy to profit,
But the past is easier if you never quit.
