The Gatherer Of Hooves
|The Prequel Part 1| "Facing Death"
Load Full StoryNext ChapterOne day, I was sitting on my chair, eating my dinner on the table that my wife gently prepared for me. It was some delicious mashed potatoes. My brain was then a complicated path beetween the lies of my mind and the complexity of my thoughts, because I choked on a potato piece then I fell unconscious on my kitchen floor. Then visions came to my brain... I was able to see a distant light, the light of the end maybe? Was my deranged life over?
"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." -Albert Einstein
The light slowly faded away when my reality of the things got the best of me. To be sure with all of you, I surely got my past swept, it was a clean restoration of my soul. My past then became my present without me even considering it. Three, two, one, my limbs were swept out of this world in a second. The experiment, I saw it... The truth I didn't. To me things were now over, parts of me are now gone with this non-sense. Will I become death?
“If I take death into my life, acknowledge it, and face it squarely, I will free myself from the anxiety of death and the pettiness of life - and only then will I be free to become myself.” -Martin Heidegger
