Finding a way!

Right after the Battle of the Bands, the Dazzlings agree to learn from their mistakes and move on ,possibly become friends with the Rainbooms. But, the problem is where are they going to live and how are they have the courage to go back to CHS? Aria thinks if she gets a job criticizing kid films that can solve those problems. Adagio believes that won't help, so Aria stomps off to find a taxi to go to her interview for the job. She said she'll come back and get them when she gets a house, a job, and a car. She leaves Adagio and Sonata in the rain.
Now Aria is nervous if this going to work out.

Aria Breaks Free

The Dazzlings sprinted into a dark alley to escape the mob of CHS students. As soon as they got there they panted heavily for a couple of minutes.

:"What just happened?" Aria asked sarcastically.
:"I looked like a giant rainbow alicorn to me." Sonata replied.
:"Of course it was an alicorn, Sonata! I was being sarcastic!" Aria stated.
:"Oh, okay! Adagio what do we do now?" Sonata asked.
:"Well, after all of this I realized is we need to turn to the good side and become friends with the Rainbooms." Adagio replied.
:"Good idea, but how are we going to get a house and face the students Monday?" Aria asked.
:"That I'm not sure about." Adagio replied.

Just after she said that an application to Nostalgia Critic's team of critics blew in Aria's face.

:"This is perfect! I can get a job for criticizing kids movies! I'm great at that!" Aria exclaimed.
:"Aria, that sounds to good to be true!" Adagio pointed out.
:"No, it isn't! I've seen their channel before and they could use some help." Aria stated.
:"But, they might not pick you." Adagio pointed out.

Just after that Aria found a pen and filled out the application. After she was finished she started walking towards the street calling for a Taxi. A Taxi parked right in front of she gave the driver ten dollars in coins she found in the ally. She got in the car and instructed the driver to roll down the windows.

:"I'll be back to pick you guys up once I get a car, a house and a job." Aria stated before the windows were rolled up.
:"Where do you want me to take you to?" The driver asked.
:"Please, take me to Nostalgia Critic's office." Aria instructed.

The Taxi drove away into the city.

:"Do you think she'll get the job?" Sonata asked.
:"I doubt it, Sonata." Adagio replied.

The Taxi arrived in front of a tall building, and let Aria out. She walked in the building and went to the front desk, that a white girl with black hair, named Lexi was working at.

:"Hello, I'm Lexi ,Gary's assistant. Is there anything I can help you with today?" Lexi asked.
:"Hi, I'm Aria Blaze and I saw your application and I'm here to apply." Aria stated.
:"Ok, I'll take that and I'll send that up to Gary. You can go to the 30th floor for your interview. Good Luck!" Lexi replied.
:"Thanks!" Aria replied as she walked to the elevator.

When she got in the Elevator she punched the number 30 button. As she waited she feelings of being nervous, excited and just being scared. The buzzer went off and the doors opened she stepped out and looked for the door labeled Gary as soon as she found it she waited outside for her turn. Then the door opened and a punk dude stepped out.

:"I just don't see much penitential in you. Next!" Gary yelled at the punk.

Aria stepped inside the room and was asked to take a seat. She sat down as Gary asked the questions.

:"Okay, Miss Blaze it says here that you're often stuck watching little kid shows because you have sister who watches them?" Gary asked.
:"Yes, that is true!" Aria replied.
:"So far so good. It also says here you were part of the Dazzlings but you guys turned good?" Gary asked.
:"That is also true!" Aria replied.
:"Ok, so how many times have you complained during kids films?" Gary asked.
:"Too many to count!" Aria replied.
:"That was the exact answer I was looking for! Everyone else gave an exact number, but you I can see much penitential in you. You got the job!" Gary announced.
:"Really? Only three questions? And I get the job?" Aria replied.
:"If you answered the thrift question correctly, you get the other four I was going to ask you right." Gary explained.
:"This is so awesome!" Aria replied.
:"Okay, so here is your new laptop, keys to your car, and keys to your house." Gary stated as he gave he the things.
:"Wait! Your giving me a car?" Aria asked.
:"One of pluses of working with us. Okay so we'll pay you $100 a week. And you make one video each week on this channel on YouTube. We will cover the house for you. So you can get used to your new house we ask you not to take family in your house until after two weeks." Gary explained.
:"Ok! Which car is mine?" Aria asked.
:"That Twilight Blue Honda outside is your car." Gary explained.
:"Thanks!" Aria stated.

Just after that Aria went down the elevator, through the lobby, and outside to her shinny new car. She fell in love with it was just perfect. She climbed into the drivers seat and put the keys in the ignition. She buckled up and punched the coordinates in the GPS of her house and started on her way.

:"Ok let's see how nice my house actually is!" Aria said to herself.

Author's Note

Hope you liked this chapter. I chose the name for this chapter that because I couldn't help it ,Break Free is a Ariana Grande song and it made sense about this story. I love this the best out of all my fan fics so far.

New Home and Loving it.

She drove to a carmel colored duplex house two blocks away from CHS. The house looked really nice and she like everything about the outside.

:"Ok if the outside is this good, let's see how good it is inside." Aria thought to her self.

She parked the car in the driveway, unbuckled, opened the door and stood outside. She walked to the door, put the key in, and opened the door. She couldn't believe how nice it looked.

In the living room there was a flat screen TV with a DVD/ VCR player, a cream colored sectional couch, lacy looking curtains, a globe light, and white carpeting.The kitchen was complete with an Island in the center with marble counter space, a metallic refrigerator with a water dispenser, and a metallic dishwasher and stove.

:"Wow! I love my new house, and I haven't seen my room yet! Well I better get to work and do my video." Aria thought to herself.

First she watched Frozen on the TV, making sure to keep in mind what clips she wanted in her video. Next she turned on the webcam on her new laptop and did all the speaking parts of the video. Then she got the clips she wanted in the video. Finally she put it all together, made a video and uploaded it to YouTube.

Just as soon it was uploaded, it reached 5,000 views and 600 likes. Aria couldn't believe it. She was already doing well on her first day at work.

:Wow! That is just crazy I have that many views." She thought to herself.

Just then she felt something around her neck it felt like the red jewel on her pendant but they were destroyed. She ran to the bathroom to check it out and she saw that a purple jewel hung off her pendant.

:"Wait, does this mean I can SING?!" She thought to herself.

She tried singing right there. It turned out better than she thought it would be. The lyrics to her favorite Taylor Swift song poured out of her beautifully. And she realized it was natural it wasn't the jewel helping. That meant she didn't need power after all.

:"Ok, this is officially the worst/best day ever!" Aria started to talk to herself.
:"Why I am talking to my self? Weird!" Aria said out loud.
:"Well, I'm tired! I gotta get some sleep." Aria thought to herself.

She went upstairs to the next floor. There was three rooms that were labeled with Sonata, Adagio, and Aria. She went into her room and admired the light purple wall with green star designs. She laid down into her King size bed and fell asleep. For once she felt that things we looking her way.

Author's Note

Ok, in this chapter you can tell that the main character is going to be Aria, but the other characters will come in a matter of time. Hope you liked my latest chapter and keep on shinning!

Got one less Problem

Monday morning , Aria got up and got dressed for school in her typical outfit she wears a lot. She ran down stairs for breakfast, Fruity Pebbles. After she was done it was like 7:30 am, so she checked the comments on her Frozen video.

:"What? Sunset Shimmer thinks Frozen is overrated too!" Aria thought.

She checked more comments on her video until it was 7:50 am. As soon as she saw the time she put away her laptop and got her car keys. She walked outside to her car, unlocked it, climbed in the drivers seat, put the keys in the ignition, and buckled up. She drove to CHS wondering if they're going to bring up the Battle of the Bands.

She parked her car in the parking lot of CHS, jumped out, and locked it. As she started walking to the front of the school, Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash joined her.

:"Saw, your video Aria. I really like how you edit them!" Rainbow Dash stated.
:"Thanks! Rainbow!" Aria replied.
:"Did you see my comment?" Sunset asked.
:"Yes, and I can't believe you think it's overrated too!" Aria replied.
:"I know! Why won't people just let it go ?" Sunset asked as Pinkie hit her drum.
:"Wait is everyone talking about what happened on Saturday?" Aria asked.
:"Not that I can think of. They are probably talking about how Frozen is overrated." Sunset replied.
:"Ok, good!" Aria replied.
:"By the way, where is Adagio and Sonata?" Rainbow asked.
:"I'm actually not sure where they are! I left them when they said there is no chance I will get the job." Aria replied.
:"And you did get the job." Sunset replied.
:"Correct!"Aria replied.

Sunset was going ask more questions , but the Ariana Grande song, Break Free started playing. Aria knew that was her phone ,so she took it out and answered it.

:"Hello?" Aria stated.
:"Hey! Aria! I bet I'm doing better than you are right now!" Adagio replied.
:"Really Adagio?" Aria replied.
:"I am! I found an old apartment for Sonata and me." Adagio replied.
:"Look, I don't want to talk right now. Ok so I'm hanging up." Aria replied.
:"No, don't hang up!" Adagio demanded.
:"Too late!" Aria announced as she hung up.

:"Sorry, about that guys! Now what where you going to ask me Sunset?" Aria asked.
:"I was going to ask about that purple gem on your pendant." Sunset said.
:"Oh, that, ok it appeared the second my video was uploaded. It doesn't help me sing now it just gives me confidence to sing well." Aria explained.
:"Ok, honestly! That necklace is more you than the red one!" Rainbow replied.
:"Thanks! Rainbow!" Aria replied.
:"Hey do you want to sit with us at lunch?" Sunset offered.
:"Yeah!" Aria replied.
:"Ok, see ya later!" Rainbow replied.

At lunch Aria grabbed some pizza and sat by Rainbow Dash. Her other friends, Sunset, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Apple Jack, were also at the table.

:"Oh, darling! I am in love with that amethyst pendant. It looks gorgeous on you!" Rarity commented.
:"Thanks! Rarity! I would tell you where to get one, but it just appeared after I criticized Frozen!" Aria replied.
:"To be honest, I'm just glad y'all are ok now!" Apple Jack stated.
:"Wow I didn't know you guys cared for us that much!" Aria replied.
:"Where is Sonata? I need someone to go crazy with smile dip and tacos!" Pinkie asked.
:"I'm not quite sure her exact location, but I do know she is with Adagio in an Old Apartment." Aria replied.
:"Okie doky!"Pinkie replied.
:"Um Aria! I never had the guts to tell you this but, I like your star hair clips!" Fluttershy stated.
:"Thanks! Fluttershy! You don't now how special these are to me." Aria replied.
:"Well, I can tell you've changed! You are still sarcastic at times ,but you're better!" Sunset pointed out.
:"Thanks, Guys!" Aria replied.
:" No problem!" They replied.

:"Wow they actually like me!" Aria thought.

Across town in a abandoned apartment building, Adagio was pacing in circles while Sonata was confused. Thoughts went through Adagio's head like crazy. Eventually to get answers she did most stupid thing you can do.

:"Sonata! Do you know why she hung up on me?" Adagio asked.
:"Knowing Aria, she probably is not happy you didn't believe in her! Either that or she was talking to the Rainbooms."Sonata pointed out.
:"Look, I would call her again, but my phone battery is at 50%!" Adagio explained.
:"Can't you charge it?" Sonata asked.
:"Yes, I have the charger, but the plug-ins don't work!" Adagio pointed out.
:"Oh, I forgot to tell you. My phone is 100% charged!" Sonata admitted.
:"Why didn't you tell me?!" Adagio yelled.
:"Um, you kinda dragged me in here." Sonata explained.
:"Yes, I did do that. Now can you call Aria?" Adagio asked.
:"Um, I don't like being yelled at!" Sonata replied.
:"I used to yell at you before!" Adagio claimed.
:"Yes, but that was when we were bad! Hello?" Sonata claimed.
:"Ok fine. I need to work harder on being good, but can you please call Aria?" Adagio asked.
:"All right, I'll get it out." Sonata replied.

She ran into a different room and looked for a blue duffel bag. When she found it, she looked through all of the pockets and zipped areas. She finally found it in smallest pocket in the duffel. She took out the Blue iPhone 5c and ran into the other room.

:"Ok, should I call her or text?" Sonata asked.
:"Just call her already!" Adagio demanded.
:"Fine, lets look though my contacts. Here it is." Sonata said as she pressed the call button.

It rang 6 times, while Sonata had a grip on it.
:"Com'n pick up the phone." Adagio whispered to herself.

:"You have reached Aria Blaze's cell. I'm currently not available to answer the phone right now! So leave a call or whatever! At the tone please record your message. When you are finished recording you may hang up or press one for more options. Beep!" The answering machine stated.

:"Hi, Aria! It's me Sonata! I was wondering if you wanted to hear our current address, 2456 apartment building on Main Street. By they way Adagio wants to know why you hung up on her. Can you get me some smile dip and tacos when you eventually do pick us up? Adagio won't let me have any! So yeah! Call me back when you get a chance. Thanks! Bye!" Sonata stated in the answering machine.

She hung up the phone and ran in the other room. She put it back in duffel bag. After she was done she ran in back.

:"Now what do we do?" Sonata asked.
:"The best thing we can do is wait for Aria to pick us up." Adagio explained.
:"But that might take weeks!" Sonata complained.
:"That why neither of us are using our phones until she calls you back." Adagio explained.
:"Why?" Sonata asked.
:"We need to save our battery for later. Sonata." Adagio explained.
:"Oh okay!" Sonata replied.
:"Let's get some sleep Sonata! Some day she'll come back and pick us up. I can feel it!" Adagio announced.

This my only Sonata and Adagio chapter. I hoped you like it. This is the first time I have used answering machines ever! Keep on shinning!

Two weeks had passed since Aria got the job. She had awesome times during this week, selfies with her new friends, peppermint frappes, watching a ton of movies & reviewing them for her job, and the best part of all, not a single mention of the battle of the bands. Aria was sitting on her sectional checking voice mail on her iPhone. That's when she came across Sonata's message.

:"Really Adagio? You wouldn't let her get smile dip! Wait it's been two weeks! I can go and pick them up. Ok I need them back, so I can stop talking to myself." Aria said out loud.

She texted Sonata letting her know that she'll be there soon, but she also mentioned that she needed to stop a few places before she picked them up. After she texted that, she got her new neon purple under amour sweatshirt on, put her phone in the purse with her keys, and went out the door. She climbed into the driver's seat of her car, put keys in the ignition, and put the coordinates in the GPS.

Before she drove to get Adagio and Sonata, she stopped at Starbucks to get two peppermint frappes and a hot chocolate. She also stopped at Candy Shop to pick up some smile dip for Sonata. Then she was finally on her way to pick them up.

The GPS lead to an old apartment building, that looked like it closed 5 years ago. Adagio and Sonata were right in front of it, shivering. Aria rolled down the window and waved at them. Automatically they ran to the car. Adagio climbed into the passenger's seat while Sonata got in back. After they were buckled up she started driving.

"What took you so long?" Adagio asked.
"Um, I was waiting in line to get you this." Aria explained as she handed the frappe to her.
"Thanks, Aria! I love your car!" Adagio stated.
"Thanks, it came with my job!" Aria replied.
"Ok, I know you're going to bring this up any way but you had a better idea!" Adagio stated.
"And?" Aria asked.
"You ended up better than us." Adagio added.
"And?" Aria asked.
"I was wrong that your job sounded to good be true." Adagio added.
"Thank You for saying all of that! That gave me time to drive to Taco John's." Aria explained while driving up to the drive thru.
"Yay! We are having tacos!" Sonata exploded.
"Sonata, only two tacos, at the most!" Aria explained.
"Aw, Fine! Can I also have a churro?" Sonata asked.
"No, because I bought you smile dip for later." Aria explained.
"Oh, Okay!" Sonata replied.

"Welcome to Taco John's! May I take your order?" An employee asked.
"Yes may I have two tacos and two large potato olays!" Aria asked.
"Would you like drinks with that?" He asked.
"Yes, three waters please." Aria added.
"Ok, your total comes to $10 dollars at the first window." He stated as Aria drove to the first window.

She payed the $10 dollars and got the food. She took out the potato olays and handed the tacos to Sonata. Then she handed Adagio one of the potato olays. She started driving to the mall to pick something up at Rue21. As soon as she parked the car Adagio was already wondering why she was here.

:"Um, Aria! Why are we at the mall?" Adagio asked.
:"I have to pick up somethings at Rue21. Now don't let anyone in the car until I get back." Aria explained as she climbed out.
:"Ok Aria!" Adagio replied as Aria shut the door.

She walked into the big the mall doors. The mall was so huge that Aria couldn't find her way to Rue21 without map. She grabbed one and started to Rue21. She eventually found it right next to Sheels. She walked in the store. She started looking around for stuff for Adagio, Sonata, and herself.

She found some adorable black t-shirts with green and purple star patterns that she had to by for herself. After seeing those, she found a minion eating a taco shirt, that just screamed Sonata. Adagio was a little harder to please though, so it had to be perfect. That just pointed her to a purple jean jacket.

As soon as she got the stuff, she headed to the line. The line had like ten people in front of her. That was annoying for her but she handled it relatively well. That meant this wasn't as short as she thought would be.

Back in the car Sonata was annoying Adagio. Adagio felt like she was a domino while Sonata went crazy to try change the song to Let it Go.

:"Adagio! I want to listen to Let it Go!" Sonata begged.
:"No! That song is overrated!" Adagio replied.
:"Fine! Can I pick a different song?" Sonata asked.
:"No! We're listening to Grenade!" Adagio explained.
:"I hate that song! Adagio!" Sonata replied.
:"So what? Sonata! I love this song." Adagio replied.
:"Fine! I'll call Aria and ask her what's taking her so long," Sonata stated.

Just as she placed the call, Aria's phone started playing Break Free and vibrated.

:"What Aria forgot her phone?" Adagio asked.
:"Oh no! That might be bad!" Sonata replied.
:"Let's just hope nothing bad happens!" Adagio explained.

It was Aria's turn finally to check out her stuff. After that long wait, she hoped that nothing makes this longer, which didn't work! Just after she paid for stuff, the lights went out.

:"Ok, this is creepy! I'm so getting out of here!" Aria stated as she ran for the door.

The door didn't open, so she ran into the door. She tried again, but it still didn't budge.

:"Ok, this feels like one of those horror movies!" Aria stated.
:"I think it's like that too!" Sunset replied as she walked toward Aria.
:"Ah! Wait, Sunset?! You just frightened me!" Aria replied.
:"Sorry, about that!" Sunset replied.
:"It's ok! At least I have someone to talk to besides myself," Aria replied.
:"Do you want to hear what I think happened?" Sunset asked.
:"Yes!" Aria replied.
:"Either there is a storm outside or someone is using to much electricity." Sunset explained.
:"Oh good! I thought a zombie apocalypse just happened!" Aria replied.
:"That is not even possible!" Sunset replied.
:"I know! I watched horror movies last night! Wait I should call Adagio!" Aria replied.
:"Why?" Sunset asked.
:"She is waiting in my car. Wait, where is my phone?" Aria asked.
:"Did you check all of your pockets?" Sunset asked.
:"Yes! Wait, just great I left it in the car!" Aria admitted.
:"Ok, now that's what I call bad luck!" Sunset stated.

Just after she said that the electricity came back on fast. In matter of seconds the doors opened.

:"Sunset! I've gotta go right now! See ya tomorrow!" Aria stated.
:"See ya! Aria!" Sunset replied.

Then Aria started walking out to the parking lot. When she got to the car, Adagio opened the door for her.

:"What happened in there?" Adagio asked.
:"The power went out! And the doors wouldn't move so I was locked in." Aria explained.
:"Oh! By the way here is your phone!" Adagio replied as she handed the phone to her.
:"Thanks! Finally we can go to my house!" Aria stated as she drove out of the parking lot.

Author's Note

Ok before I tell you how much I had fun writing this chapter, I would like to point out that the blackout actually originally was not planned for this chapter. But I it fit perfectly so I decided to go with it! Once again I liked creating this chapter and can't wait to write more. Keep on shinning :pinkiehappy: !

Here's 2 Us!

They finally arrived at Aria's house after that crazy experience at the mall. They climbed out of the car grabbed their stuff and headed towards the door. Aria got her keys out and unlocked the door. After she did that Adagio and Sonata couldn't believe their eyes.

:"Aria, you definitely ended up better than us!" Adagio stated.
:"I know!" Aria replied.

Sonata was so happy that she took the smile dip and started eating the smile dip on the sectional.

:"Sonata could you please eat your smile dip in your room?" Aria asked.
:"Fine, I still need to check it out anyways! By the way Aria, can I watch those movies in that glass shelf area?" Sonata replied.
:"Maybe, when I'm not watching them for work!" Aria replied.
:"Oh, Okay!" Sonata replied as she headed up to her room.

A couple seconds later, Adagio was sitting on the sectional watching Victorious. Aria decided to join her.

:"Aria! I didn't know you liked this show!" Adagio stated.
:"Well, it's an ok show! It's not as awesome as Gravity Falls, but it's ok!" Aria replied.
:"Ok, who is your favorite character? Hands down Tori is my favorite!" Adagio asked.
:"I like Jade the best!" Aria replied.
:"Wow, I can't believe you watch this show now!" Adagio replied.
:"Well, I don't like to watch it all the time, but I think you should watch your show now!" Aria replied.
:"Are you sure? If you want to watch Gravity Falls, you can!" Adagio asked.
:"Ok, you changed big time! I don't remember you ever thought about anyone but yourself." Aria replied.
:"Well, I don't remember you ever agreeing with me!" Adagio replied.

Just after saying that felt something around her neck, just like Aria did. She looked down she saw a topaz hanging from her pendant. After seeing that she realized that Aria had an amethyst hanging from hers.

:"Aria, look what found on my pendant!" Adagio stated.
:"That happened to me, after I posted my first review of Frozen for work!" Aria replied.
:"Wait, can we still sing?" Adagio asked.
:"Well, I could sing better than ever when it appeared. So yes, but it's more of a confidence symbol!" Aria replied.

Adagio tried to see if she was right, and she was. The lyrics of Make it Shine poured out of her beautifully. Once again Aria was right about it being a confidence symbol. Just after that Adagio fainted on the carpeting. Shortly after that she got up sat back on the couch.

:"Ok, this is really weird!" Adagio stated.
:"That's what I thought!" Aria replied.

That's when Sonata came running down the stairs with a sapphire on her pendant.

:"Hey, guys. Guess what happened! I can sing again!" Sonata exploded.
:"We, already know!" They replied.
:"Really, you guys can sing now too?" Sonata asked.
:"Yes!" Adagio replied.
:"You know what I'm tired! So I'm going to bed." Aria replied.
:"I'm too, Aria!" Adagio replied.
:"Ok, good night guys!" Sonata replied.

They all headed to bed with the thought that things are getting better! Aria finally had the peace she needed after all of stress of the battle of the bands, and the thought that tomorrow is going to be a great day.

Ok this chapter was inspired with the fact that I miss Victorious on TV. This chapter will also be the last one :applecry: . I really had fun doing this and hope I have as much fun with my other fan fics in the future! Keep on shinning :pinkiesad2: !
