The Roanoak stories are based upon an ongoing RolePlay setting in SecondLife, and about a year ago the north of Roanoak was overrun by Changelings, resulting in the loss of both Morgan Castle - the residence of the Crown of Roanoak and the headquarters of the Imperial Guard - and the nearby town of Morninglight.

These are excerpts from the journals of Aurora as she, and Roanoak, weathered this invasion.

Currently there are efforts to retake the north of the Empire from the Changelings in the RP setting, which will be added to this record as events transpire.
