Cloudsdale is in ruin.

Countless ponies join Them every day, and some have managed to stay the tide, surviving in close-encounters with the horde daily. The shambling forms - the numerous infected - dot the cityscape with their blackened bodies and hungering moans.

Cirrus Strider is a crippled pegasus looking to escape the falling city, and the horde taking over the once-peaceful land. The chariot to carry her away will turn out to be the one that takes her to her grave - she just has to fight her way out of it first.
