After a week traveling through the Everfree Forest without sun, Twilight Sparkle and company have arrived at Castle Everfree, ready to face Nightmare Moon.

They are not prepared.

A Story within the Sparkyverse canon, but prior knowledge is not necessary (And in fact, hard to find, as I haven't been writing as much as I could have been.) Originally written as one full document, I broke it all up into smaller chunks, as otherwise the pacing gets a bit funny.

(Also, this was meant to be a Halloween story. Whoops. Merry Christmas everybody!)
