//-------------------------------------------------------// Sillhouette -by AngelWings3251- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Silhouette //-------------------------------------------------------// Silhouette Adagio rubbed her head gingerly, trying to clear the white light in her eyes and the migraine in her head.  She looked up again seeing her and her partners on stage looking just as confused.  She quickly remembered what had happened and grabbed the shards of what used to be who made her who she knew she was for centuries... a siren.  It couldn't be true!  She and her partners had to feed!  She opened her mouth to lead once again, only to hear something that sounded like a strangled cat come out of her mouth.  Sonata and Aria's too.  They looked at each other frightened.  What happened to their voices?!  She didn't have much time to think since a sudden tomato hit her in the face as the booing from the audience became clear. She couldn't deal with this... deal with being mocked and beaten down to.... nothing... what was she now?! How was she even alive?!  Covering her face in grief and shame, she ran off the stage, Aria and Sonata following. "This is all your fault, Sonata!" Aria growled. "Me?! I was singing my part!" Sonata shouted back. "You didn't sing hard enough!" "What about you?  You were flat." "I couldn't find my head voice!" "HEAD VOICE!? Your voice doesn't come from your head it comes from your throat!  Why do you think it vibrates?!" "We would have won if you weren't the absolute..." Aria looked over to the wall to see Adagio simply leaning against the wall, almost in shock. "Adagio?" Aria had never seen their leader like this before.   Adagio slid down the wall behind the stage, hugging her knees. "What have I done?" She whimpered, threatening to cry. "It wasn't your fault..." Sonata said, shrugging. "If that other band hadn't interrupted our performance..." "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!?" Adagio shouted. "The Rainbooms took everything from us!  Our singing voices, our power, our sirenhood!! Do you two not understand that!?" Aria and Sonata stepped back a little at Adagio's yelling.  Even though she could be mean, she rarely yelled. Aria looked down upset. "Maybe but...we can't do anything about that now... we have to make the best of things." Aria explained. "Yeah, just wait!  Things will turn up." "But what if they don't?  Where do we go? What can we do?" Adagio asked, her eyes welling with tears. "I don't know..." Aria admitted, "But we'll find out..." She wasn't used to actually talking to Adagio as if she wasn't leader. "Maybe we should go to the cafe on Main street, get a bite to eat and talk it over... I'm starving." Sonata said her stomach growling. "Y-You guys go ahead.... I-I'll catch up..." Adagio said.    Aria looked concerned for her friend (yes, she would call Adagio that), but she nodded and walked away with Sonata. It was then Adagio finally broke down.  She couldn't cry in front of her partners.  She couldn't show just how weak she was without her power.  That's all she really was... a coward.  What would they do now?  They couldn't go anywhere... were they even able to feed now?!  Or... were they real humans now?   She sat there in silence, crying her eyes out, until she felt a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, I know what it feels like..." She looked up seeing the red and yellow fire haired girl leaning down to her level... "Sunset Shimmer?  What are you doing here!? Shouldn't you be singing your heart out with the Rainbooms?" Adagio asked with a sniff, looking away in a slight pout. "We'll have to see if I do... but that's not why I'm here... I knew you all would be upset, but it'll work out for you.  You'll see." "How?!  You...you gained power, but... you-you never lost who you were..." Adagio cried again. Sunset bit her lip. "You're right... I didn't.  But... I did loose something much more valuable... the friends I thought I had.  But in the end... I got something much better." She looked back to see Pinkie Pie and the rest of the group, Pinkie Pie still going at the drums. Sunset laughed. "B-But... how will that happen? I don't know the first thing about friendship..." "I said the same thing, Adagio.  You say that, but you do know friendship... think of Aria... Sonata... you might not realize it but they're your friends too.  They care about you, and they're worried about you right now..." Sunset said.  "Friendship doesn't just lift in Equestria, it's everywhere... you can seek it out... or be forever alone..." "I... I'm sorry for what I did to the school..." "It's okay... at least your didn't destroy the school property..." Sunset blushed. "You... You think we'll find our way?" Adagio asked, some slight hope in her voice. "I'm sure you will.  I found my way even though I made mistakes, and look what happened.  I'm sure you can find something too." Sunset said with a smile. For the first time, Adagio smiled with no glimmer of evil inside her.  It felt... nice. Great even!  She felt... free. "SUNSET SHIMMERRRRR!" Pinkie Pie shouted, throwing a guitar to her. "CATCH!" Sunset grabbed the guitar and wrapped it around her. "Well... duty calls..." Adagio nodded, now determined in herself. "Yeah... me too." She said, running off to find her friends. Sunset smiled, she knew now, Adagio and Dazzlings might not be  no more, but Adagio, Sonata, and Aria as friends might have just began.
