Beyond The Rabbit Hole.by Resident_YumanChaptersChapter 1- Washed UpTalking Ponies and Dirty NeedlesMeeting the Pony Princess.Chapter 1- Washed Up"Man I miss doing this." said Jason as he propped his legs up on a drink cooler, switched his weapons from fire to safety, and put them off to the side;for the first time in a long time he could sit and not worry about Vass's Pirates or Hoyt's Privateers coming for him and his friends. "Miss doing what?" asked Liza as she rummaged through the ship's cargo hold, looking for any food to eat. "Nothing." Jason replied jokingly, trying to make the 3,316 mile trip a little more bearable, since they had already traveled more than half of the distance between Rook Island and Santa Monica. Taking in the sight of the Dodger-blue colored ocean, and the aquatic life as it swam past their Motor-Cruiser,all this mixed together left him a little bit of time recollect himself, after all the hell he had been through on that messed up island. "Yes I found them!" exclaimed Liza as she managed to find the last few M.R.Es that they had taken from a crate they found in Dr.Earnhardt's mansion before they left the island four days ago; they had lost them while getting the boat down towards the water and had misplaced them with the other supplies in the Motor-Cruiser's hold. Everyone including Jason had turned to see Liza holding up 6 M.R.Es, and smiled because a bad tasting, man-made, food sounds better than wasting time fishing, only to find out all of you know diddly squat about fishing. Meanwhile, everyone rejoiced about having some food they didn't have to catch, and were going to gobble the M.R.Es down like a pack of starving wolves. Just then Jason took up his role as leader; "Alright everybody settle down, we have to make this food last for at least another week, by then we will be in Hawaii and we'll be better off than we are now and pretty much halfway towards Santa Monica!" after Jason's declaration there was an executive groan that echoed across the group, this much was to be expected from a group of five young, and hungry adults. 8:47 P.M. Eventually everyone had come to terms with this new “diet” and were happy to get something instead of going hungry. Since everyone had been working all day that day, they were getting tired and decided it would be wise to take shifts throughout the night. As it was getting to be around 9:00 p.m. everyone except Jason had started to go to bed. Jason’s job during his shift was pay attention for any Coast-guard ships or any land masses. It was Jason’s turn because he chose first shift, due to him not wanting to be caught unprepared for anything that could happen. He suddenly was hit with a cool rush of sea air, which revived him of his grogginess and kept him alert. ”Oh man that's refreshing...” What Jason was blissfully unaware of was that the sky was getting slowly engulfed by ominous storm clouds. Since he did not have any form of communication other than his phone which was out of range and the Motor-Cruiser’s radio which was old and it’s components had already crystallized due to the moisture from the cave ,so he was unable to receive adequate warning to what was coming. First came the overwhelming darkness which now covered the moon’s light entirely, waves crashing against the sides of the Motor-Cruiser was enough to wake everyone up. Jason was already trying to handle the situation by trying to steer the ship out of the storm ,but it was useless. So he took five of his Untouchable syringes and handed one to each of his friends and used one on himself and showed them how to use it. He knew that this boat wouldn't a last much longer, due to how hard the Motor-Cruiser was being pushed and because of how worn out it was when they found it. “What are these for?!... Jason tell me wha-!” Yelled Liza scared out of her mind. Just as Jason cut her off. “Just stick it into the vein in your left arm and try to-!.” were the last words to come out of Jason’s mouth before it was filled with bitter salt water because of the rain and wind making huge waves that towered over the railing of the ship. At that moment, they all felt as if they had been flipped upside down as the ship capsized onto it’s back. Sending them plunging under the water’s surface like lead weights. Cold, wet, and unable to do anything other than use the syringes Jason handed to them right before ship capsized, they quickly stab them into their arms as they sink toward the bottom of the ocean; their inevitable fate. _____________________________________ 5:00 A.M. (Equestria) “Just stick it into the vein in your left arm and try to-!”...*SPLASH* “What was that!?” exclaimed Twilight as she flew right out of her bed, wet, confused and sporting a bowl on her head, just then she saw a cyan and rainbow colored blur, zip out of her room and down the hall. “Oooh Rainbow Dash..” said Twilight slightly annoyed at being woken up in such a manner. She tried to recall the dream she was having before Rainbow decided to wake her from it, but couldn't. “Oh well that’s not what matters now.” She said while assessing herself. After checking where she had got most of the water on her she determined that her face, and mane took most of the water. Just as she was going to make her bed she noticed it had taken most of the damage and now had to change the sheets or else they would start producing mildew. “ Great, now my bed is soaked.. oh well I’ll just change the sheets after breakfast.” She decided to let it go for now and go downstairs towards the kitchen to get herself some breakfast to help energize her throughout the day. After All, breakfast was the most important meal of the day. As soon as she turned the corner to enter the kitchen, she was greeted to a sight she did not expect and it caught her off guard. “HAPPY HOUSEWARMING PARTY!!!” her friends exclaimed at the top of their lungs as they stood by Twilight and showed her the plethora of food on the dinner table as well as the beautiful decorations they all set up just for her. “So... what do you think?” they asked. “It’s.. it’s.. oh I just don’t know how to thank y-” but before she could finish she was cut off by Rarity “Just enjoy it, that’s enough for us dear. Rarity explained as she started helping herself to plate. “Yeah better hurry too ‘cause Pinkie’s going to be on her third plate here soon by the looks of it.” Rainbow said jokingly. “What? Breakfafst isth the mofst imfortant meal of fthe day.” Pinkie managed to say through a mouthful of food, as crumbs flew in all directions. Everypony chuckled at the response Pinkie gave and continued enjoying their morning. 7:00 A.M. As she and her friends had just about finished up their breakfast, Twilight had taken some time to think of all the fond memories that she had made with her friends. She took in the gorgeous decor that her friends had more than likely put a lot of effort into making. To know that you had so many ponies that cared for you and your well being was nice. That is the best part of friendship I suppose. 12:53 P.M. ------------- _____________________________________ (Back to Jason) Jason struggled to open his eyes due to the irritation of the salt water, but surely enough managed to open his eyes one at a time. As he slowly got up and on his feet he dusted himself off and immediately took notice towards the five sets of shoe-prints in the sand, which led towards what he thought looked like a jungle of sorts, though this didn't look like any jungle he had seen before,in fact it appeared to be more of a forest. The whole thing was disorienting and kinda, well for lack of a better word, cartoon-y. But he didn't want to dwell on that much longer because it was distracting him from his main objective. Disregarding that thought which he summed up to irritation due his extended exposure to salt water, he turned his attention to toward finding his brother and friends. He noticed his loot-rucksack had already washed up alongside of him, along with his weapons, each in their respective holster, all hanging by one of the straps being caught around his leg. He them proceeded to remove each weapon and examine them individually, drying them off to avoid rust, taking them apart and putting them back together; basically doing a field job on all of his weapons. After fixing his weapons to the best of his ability, he chose to make sure everything else he had was where he had left it. A sense of loss had washed over him as he found out that he had lost his only way of communicating with his friends. “Damn-it!" said Jason as he found out that he lost his satellite phone during the storm ,but everything in his pockets and loot-rucksack still seemed to be there, albeit wet , but there none the less. After he got over the fact that his mission had just gotten 10 times harder with the loss of his satellite phone, and was assured that he had everything else that he came here with, he quickly set off toward his new goal. Talking Ponies and Dirty Needles2:36 P.M. (Jason) As Jason continued through the jungle, he was beginning to notice that the shoe-prints had ended about an hour ago, and he had absolutely no idea where he was heading. Jason had grown tired of just letting his natural sense of direction guide him, which was honestly crap, and took out his map. He took a moment to study the map, which was the one they were using to navigate their way to Hawaii and, tried to find out where it was they washed up. “So we were here when we capsized,” said Jason as he pointed to a spot on the map. “so we have to be on… The Johnston Atoll!” Now since Jason knew where they had washed up at, he felt as though he was a little more in control of the situation. So he continued searching for his friends. The reason why Jason was so excited was because the Johnston Atoll was now off limits to civilians, and the only people allowed on the island were staff and researchers. This was due to the radiation that was a result of Gov. testing gone awry. So he figured just find his friends, find a staff member or researcher, explain their situation and hitch a ride back home. Jason felt just gained the advantage of knowing where they were, than before when he was clueless. (Twilight) 3:53 P.M. After having finished all of the tasks listed on her to-do list, which she filled out the night before,Twilight had decided she was going to rest a bit, so she picked a random book up from her extensive collection and began to read it.She was halfway through the first page when Spike burst through the doors that separated her room from the rest of the castle. “Twilight you need to look at this! It says it’s urgent!.” Spike said with worry apparent in his voice. Twilight had levitated the scroll from claws and it inspected it. Upon inspection she noticed that instead of the regular red wax seal, the seal on this scroll had ‘URGENT’ imprinted upon it. With that she opened it and began reading it aloud. Dear Twilight, There have been reports by some of the park rangers who patrol the forest that resides on the northern outskirts of Baltimare, that there was a pack of five unidentified creatures roaming the forest, seemingly headed towards the city. Now I've called this to your attention because of how resilient you and your friends have proven to be. You have never failed me yet, and hope you will deliver when I ask of you and the other elements to go and gather these creatures. Now they seem to have some intelligence, for they have been heard repeating the name ‘Jason’ ; what I suggest is to try to converse with them; prove their intelligence. I ask this task of you and your friends because I believe you and the Elements are more than capable of handling this situation. I would not forgive myself if one of my citizens are hurt or if one of my citizens attacks these creatures, which are clearly in great distress. Here are the characteristics to look out for; given to me by the park rangers. “Taller than a average pony; around five to six hooves tall, wearing what appears to be clothes with varying colors, and slightly tanned hairless skin, the only hair if any, is located on the creatures head, and it's most distinct feature is that the creature is bi-pedal.” Since these creatures appear to be distressed, do not approach with hostility, nor try to corner or confine them, for I fear they could attack if threatened. I hope for you the best of luck and please be careful. -Princess Celestia. “Oh my this is urgent...,” said Twilight as she pondered her next move. “alright Spike, I need you to close down the library early for me while I go inform the girls of what is going on. After that's done we’ll regroup here and you can come along.” “ I’ll get right to it boss!” Spike said as he got to work. (Riley and the others) 4:36 P.M. “Jason! Jason can your hear us?! Jason!” The group of five friends were quickly losing hope. They had been searching since they had washed up, which was at 10:26 in the morning, and were tired, hungry, and feeling defeated. “Guys just stop! It’s no use! We are just walking blindly through this stupid forest, yelling Jason’s name like a broken fucking record!” said Oliver having already lost hope, and come to terms with Jason’s death. Everyone else had not, and were shocked at Oliver’s sudden outburst, still clinging to whatever hope they had left. “Besides, he had all of those guns and crap attached to him, I wouldn't be surprised if he sunk the moment the ship went belly up.” Everyone stared slack jawed unable to believe what they were hearing. Just then Riley hit that assumption out of the ball-park. “No.. we are not just-just going to give up after a day. Jason didn't give up when he left Vass’s camp, no he continued on, and he kept going ‘till we were on that boat back home. We aren't just going to throw that all away, forget what Grant and Jason did, and weep about being alive now.” Riley was surprised with his own outburst, needless to say everyone else was too. Even Oliver was taken aback and felt extremely guilty, for.. Riley was right. Jason didn't give up, on any of them. Once Grant was gone, Jason was thrust into the role of leader. He risked his life for everyone one of them, and he deserved better. “You know what Riley.. you’re right.Jason didn't give up on us, I was wrong to say what I said. I’m sorry, I hope you can forgive me man.” Oliver sincerely apologized for saying what he had said. “Alright so c’mon let’s keep loo-” before Riley could finish he was interrupted by Liza. “Riley do you think we could rest here? I mean... were all tired and we can’t be of any help to Jason hungry and tired.” Liza said hoping to get Riley comply, because to be honest, they all were tired and hungry, and a little rest couldn't hurt. “But what if-” yet again he was interrupted, but this time it was Daisy, reinforcing Liza’s plea. “Just for tonight please, and tomorrow, first thing we do is look for Jason, okay?” Daisy proposed the idea to Riley, just wanting to rest after a long day of walking aimlessly through some forest, yelling Jason’s name like he was some sort of lost puppy. “I guess we can rest for the night, that is if you’re all really that tired.” everyone shot their hands up into the air, signifying that they were all tired and would love to rest for the night. “Okay.. I need Liza and Daisy to gather some wood for a fire, before the night and cold comes.” “And I need Keith and Oliver to come with me to gather some wood and leaves to get us off the ground and away from things like ticks.” Riley commanded as he got to work, gathering wood that would act as a sort of poor mans bed frame. When Riley had finished making 5 bed ‘frames’, he had some time to think about what happened. He had just.. become leader, no protest, nothing. This must be what Jason had felt like back on Rook Island. This realization made Riley proud, in the sense that leadership came so easily, it almost felt instinctual. (Jason) 7: 56 P.M. After 3 more hours of walking non-stop since his discovery of where they had washed up, and seeing nothing but animals that didn't belong in a jungle, Jason was getting groggy, hungry, and annoyed. A little happiness can only go so far, and that happiness lost it’s effectiveness about two hours ago. So he injected himself with a Medicine syringe; it wasn't long until the effects kicked in, and boy did they kick. Once the sun was down, Jason was already dreading having to navigate this jungle with only the moon’s light to guide him. But once darkness hit the landscape, there, off in the distance were lights, artificial lights, lights that can only be made by humans. Jason was as happy as he could be at that moment, he thought that if he could see them, his friends probably did too. So Jason took a Sprint Boost syringe, and quickly set off towards the lights. He started shouting trying to get the attention of anyone who could hear him. “HELLO! RILEY! LIZA! GUYS IT’S ME JASON. I’M HERE!” Jason yelled hoping to catch the attention off a staff member or his friends, as he ran toward his goal. (Twilight) 7:56 P.M. “Twilight I think we should just tell Celestia that we couldn't find that pack of creatures. I’m sure that she’ll understand.” Applejack tried to assure her friend, but Twilight wasn't having any of it. “ No we can’t do that! Celestia trusted us, thinking that we were more than capable of handling this situation. We can’t let her down!” Twilight replied in her defense. “Twilight, we can’t find these creatures without the sun. Let’s just wait until tomorrow, then we can actually have a chance to see them.” said Rarity trying to reason with the purple alicorn. “No, you know what Twilight's right. We can’t just give up and risk the chance of one of these things finding Baltimare, let alone a pack of five!” said Rainbow defending Twilight. “I don’t know Rainbow what if they aren't even dangerous, and are just lost or scared?” said Fluttershy feeling sympathetic for these unknown creatures. “ Yeah what she said.” Pinkie said agreeing with Fluttershy. “Girls I get what you mean but, even Celestia was unsure of what would happen if these creatures interacted with the city’s occupants! We can’t let them reach Baltima-” Twilight was cut off as she and her friends heard something yell. “HELLO! RILEY! LIZA! GUYS IT’S ME JASON. I’M HERE!” followed by the sound of running. But this running was weird, it was as if the creature was walking on two legs not four. “ Hey wasn't Jason the name the letter said the pack of creatures was heard repeating?” Rainbow asked Twilight curious. “Twi-” Rainbow was promptly cut off as a orange hoof was shoved in front of her mouth, followed by a demeaning shush. Rainbow gave a huff of annoyance, but stayed quiet none-the-less. After a moment of silence, came the same voice that they heard before. “HELLO?! CAN YOU GUYS HEAR ME?! IT’S JASON!” “There it is!” said Twilight as she said her hoof following the dark silhouette as it ran toward Baltimare with impressive speed. Everypony followed Twilight’s hoof and also saw the creature, as it headed toward Baltimare. They all ran after the creature hoping to catch up to it before it reached Baltimare, not knowing how the city's residents would react to something they haven't seen before. As they were running after the creature, they noticed how fast it really was, they knew that they needed to do something to stop it before it reached it's destination. Upon realizing that they weren't going to catch up to the creature by hoof, Twilight resorted to a more drastic measure and put up a magenta wall in front of the creature, hoping it would be forced to turn around and face them so they could speak to it. (Jason) As Jason continued running he heard something besides his feet hitting the ground and his own breathing. It sounded like a couple of horses galloping behind him. Now he wasn't a zoologist, but even he knew that horses didn't belong on a tropical island. Before he had the chance to look over his shoulder to see what was chasing him, a purple colored wall just popped up out of nowhere and startled him, making him lose his balance and fall, his head landing on an exposed tree root which consequently knocked him out. 8:12 P.M. As Jason awoke he heard a multitude of voices, he could tell they were mostly female but couldn't make out what they were saying, due to the dull ringing in his ears, and his vision being blurred and red wasn't helping either. So he got up, brushed himself off, and injected himself with one of the Medicine Syringes which he refilled earlier. A moment passed before it kicked in, but once it did he heard one of the female voices speak again but he could understand it this time. “Um… hello?” it said, awkwardly trying to start a conversation. Jason was facing away from the voice, so he turned around as he spoke wanting to see who it was that was talking to him. “Oh thank god. I was starting to think that no one heard me yelling-” Jason froze mid sentence only to notice that there wasn't a person there at all, just 6 differently colored ponies, staring at him with big round eyes. An awkward moment of silence passed before Jason spoke up. “ I knew I shouldn't have used that dirty needle.” was all Jason managed to say before fainting and, falling face first onto the ground. Some time passed before Twilight broke the awkward silence. “Spike take a letter.” said Twilight; confused out of her mind. Meeting the Pony Princess."Ugh.. why am I so cold?" Jason asked himself as he attempted to open his eyes, only to close them right after because of how irritatingly bright the light was, so he took it a bit slower and tried opening his eyes again, this time allowing them to accustom to the extremely bright light that filled the.. room? Once his eyes were open he took in the room’s featureless walls, and looking slightly up, he noticed it had a single tinted window, and under that window was a door. He also noticed that his weapons were no longer with him, along with everything else he owned. All of this combined with the emptiness of the room he was in was making Jason feel vulnerable and overall uncomfortable. He had to find a way out of this room; he went to the door and as luck would have it, it was locked. He tried jumping from the metal table he was lying on when he woke up to the tinted glass window, but that proved to be difficult due to the smooth texture of the wall. Jason was getting anxious now as he knew there was no other way out and started screaming obscenities and threats, hoping to catch the attention of whoever was on the other side of that window. To Jason's surprise someone responded. "Hello, Jason." Jason heard someone; whom he couldn't see, say. "Whoa wait, how do you know my name?!" Jason replied eyeing the window, where he suspected the voice to be coming from. "Well you certainly weren't trying to hide when you kept on yelling it for the world to hear back at the forest." replied the voice nonchalantly. "Fuck you! I'm not just gonna sit here and take shit from someone who just kidnapped me! Now let me go! I have to go find my friends!" Jason said starting to get annoyed at whoever it was that was talking to him, and was contemplating on kicking the door off of it’s hinges if they didn't let him out soon. “Calm yourself Jason, I was simply trying to converse with you, but since you wish to skip that part and get down to business, we’ll get down to business. You see, after you were dropped off here, we noticed that we were short the original five creatures, that were reported to us. We didn't expect that there was a sixth creature, so you were a surprise to us.But before I continue, I would like to finish this conversation face to face. So if you’re calmed down enough I will would be delighted to let you out of that room.” the voice said. After giving it some thought, Jason agreed and calmed down a bit. “Alright I’m calm, can you please let me out now?” Jason asked. “Certainly.” was all the voice replied with as the door was quickly enveloped in a light yellow color, and was opened. Jason walked towards the now open door, and into a long hallway though, instead of the bare essentials the room he woke up in was adorned with, the hallway had stained glass windows, all featuring a different design. As early morning sunlight hit the windows, their colors splashed onto the walls creating a beautiful array of colors. At the end of this colorful hallway stood a tall, white, blue green and pink haired, unicorn with wings, and a crown. This, along with the scenery of the hallway made Jason feel kind of disoriented. He felt as if Citra had given him all of her drugs together at the same time. All he could do was stare at the horse as it came closer, and once it got within arms reach, it stopped and spoke. "Now that I have your attention I would like to introduce myself, my name is Princess Celestia how are you Jason?" Jason still couldn't believe what he saw. There in front of him was a talking, cartoon-y, white unicorn, with wings. "Holy shit.. this.. what the fuck is this!?" was all Jason could say; he was feeling a smorgasbord of feelings all at the same time, with confusion being the most prevalent at the moment. He slowly backed away until it spoke up again. "I understand that you may be confused right now Jason, and that's understandable, waking up in a place you've never been in can be disorienting and rather frightening. But before I say anything else you must understand that we are not going to hurt you, or these friends of yours when we find them." Jason nodded in agreement, but still was wary of this Princess Celestia character."Excellent, but before we leave this hallway, I need your word that you will not bring harm upon my citizens." "You.. um have my word, Princess." Jason said, fumbling over his words. Never in his lifetime did he ever think that he would be 'giving his word' to a talking, unicorn, princess, horse with wings. "Wonderful, now please follow me." Celestia asked as she turned and went down the hall toward the door, Jason following a short distance behind her. 8:23 A.M (Riley and the others.) Riley had woken up to the sound of leaves rustling and people talking. He immediately got up and looked for the source of the voices from where he was, he couldn't see them due to the density of the forest but he could still hear them, so he stopped moving around and stood as still as he could so he could hear them better. "Oh hey I forgot to ask, any news on that pack of creatures that we saw the other day?" Riley heard one of the voices ask. "Well yes and no, they didn't find the original pack that we reported on, but they did find one. From what I read, it's the one called Jason, they plan on sending a search party for the other five later on tonight. one of the voices "Jason..." Riley had stopped listening once he heard Jason's name. Riley quickly snapped out of his trance and ran to wake up the others who were still asleep."Hey guys wake up! There’s some people who passed by us, they say someone found Jason!" Everyone was up once Riley told them the news. They quickly packed up what little things they had left and began following the trail. They didn't need to run far before seeing two ponies. Both were weirdly colored and had on outfits that resembled a park ranger, hat and all. They noticed that both sets of pony ears swiveled in their direction, before both ponies turned around and faced them. One remained still, the other had the look of realization on it’s face as it stared at the pack of creatures in front of it. "It's okay just don't move and they'll move on." one of the ponies said to the other, as one pony froze in place. The other pony chuckled and told the other to knock it off and that it was overreacting. "Now that's no way to treat somepony Maple! This is the pack of creatures that I reported to Princess Celestia about. If they are anything like their friend, then there is no need to worry!" the other pony said trying to reassure the one known as Maple. "Bu-" Maple was cut off before she could say anything more demeaning. "Excuse my partner she's still in training; my name is Park Ranger: Trail Composer, and my partner is Ranger Cadet: Maple Drizzle." explained Trail Composer. The group of five humans were shocked that the voices came from these ponies and not other humans. But they needed to know what happened to Jason, and at the moment these ponies were the only ones who could tell them. Liza spoke as softly for she did not want to scare Maple Drizzle anymore than she already was, "It's okay there's no need to be afraid, we just want to know what happened to Jason." Liza's soft voice seemed to have the desired effect as the pony known as Maple Drizzle seemed to relax a little. "Well we were heading to our office anyway, the report that Princess Celestia sent back to us is there. I read it already, though I can't remember what it said in detail, but I do know that they have your friend Jason at the castle. Follow us, and we'll take you there so you can read it for yourselves." offered Trail Composer as he and Maple Drizzle led the way. They followed close behind as the two ponies led them to the park office, breathing a sigh of relief now knowing that Jason was fine, Riley and Liza especially. 11:01 A.M. (Jason) After Celestia had explained her reasoning for as to why she had Jason in the room, along with answering any question Jason asked her, she began to ask Jason questions of her own. “So if you and your friends aren't from Equestria, then where do you come from?” Celestia asked “Well, my friends and I are from Santa Monica, California. That’s a city, in a state, in a country, on the planet Earth.” replied Jason, not feeling up to give a lesson on humans and their homeland at the moment. “So, if you’re from another planet entirely then how did you end up in Equestria? It’s not normal for a creature to pop into existence on a foreign planet .” Celestia asked. “Well I’m not really sure myself you see, we were headed back home on a ship, this was after leaving Rook Island. We were almost to Hawaii our first stop, when we had experienced a nasty sea storm that capsized our ship. So before the ship capsized, I gave my friends and I one syringe each and hoped for the best. A last resort of sorts, I've never would have expected that it would take us to an entirely different world.” explained Jason. “So wait, what does a syringe have to do with ending up here in Equestria?” Celestia asked. “Well like I said I’m not sure, the syringe I’m talking about had effects that would allow the one who injected him or her self, a limited amount of time where they were immune to being hurt or injured, so basically ‘immortal’ in sense, but only during the duration of the effects.” Jason explained. Celestia was astonished to say the least. Even with magic Equestrian medicine was not up to that level of ingenuity yet. She was then asked a question by Jason, which derailed her train of thought. “You know speaking of syringes, where did my stuff go?” Jason asked. “ Oh that yes, we are almost there.” Celestia said. By the time they had arrived Jason had gotten little if no stares which surprised him. He was expecting to see some scared reactions from the ponies who saw him or something but it seemed as if they didn't notice him. “Well here we are.” said Celestia pointing her hoof toward a caged booth with a pony working the counter behind the cage. Jason approached the cage and had all of his weapons and belongings returned to him. One by one he was handed each item, and indeed everything was there. Once he put everything on him, Jason felt as if everything was getting back on track, slowly but surely. Celestia noticed that the mail courier was coming toward her with haste. “ Princess! I have an important letter for you!” the mare said as she gave the letter to the Princess and went on her way to deliver the rest of Canterlot’s mail. Jason asked Celestia what the letter contained, after she skimmed it she handed it Jason to let him read it for himself. A look of excitement crawled upon his face as he finished reading the letter. “My friends are alright.. I have to go and see them!” Jason exclaimed as he started running in a random direction, thinking it was the way out. “Jason.” said Celestia. “Yeah!?” Jason shouted over his shoulder as he started running down the hall he presumed led out of the palace. “You’re going the wrong way.” was all Celestia replied with as she waited for Jason to return. “Oh.” Jason said as he realized that she was right and went back to her as she led the way they were supposed to go.
Chapter 1- Washed Up"Man I miss doing this." said Jason as he propped his legs up on a drink cooler, switched his weapons from fire to safety, and put them off to the side;for the first time in a long time he could sit and not worry about Vass's Pirates or Hoyt's Privateers coming for him and his friends.
