                   Ch. 1 New Beginnings

Ch. 1 New Beginnings
     Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria,two regal sisters blah blah blah. Luna turns into Nightmare Moon. Uhhhh ah here we go. Celestia retrieves the Elements of Harmony and tries to use them to defeat Nightmare Moon. Celestia gathers all the power that she has left and blasts a beam of light,but Nightmare Moon wasn't going down without a fight and did the same. When their beams clashed,the sun and moon did as well and created a solar eclipse. Nightmare Moon saw this and knew what was going to happen then gave in.
     After the fight Celestia flew down to grieve on what she's done. Then she heard a very faint crying and went to go find the source of it. It was coming from behind a piece of rubble from the castle. To her surprise she found a foal with eyes of bloody red and a coat of the blackest of nights. When it saw her it crawled to her leg and hugged it. She look around for somepony but there was nopony around except her and the foal. Then she looked up and saw that the solar eclipse was still in the sky. That's when she realized that the black foal was hers. After she calms it down, she checks if its a filly or a colt. To her surprise it was a colt. Then she held him tight and uses a time traveling spell to travel 982 years in the future. When she got there,she went to go meet up with herself.
     After a while she found herself and told her what happened,then tells her to take good care of this colt and with a flash of light she was gone. Tia looks at the colt and names him Sol Eclipse. Then she smiles at him and and says."Hay there little foal my name is princess Celestia,but you can call me Mommy."
She then takes him to the castle and puts him to bed. "Goodnight my little sunshine." She said before kissing him on the head."Sweet dreams."she said as she closed the door. Celestia goes to her room across the hall and takes off her shoes,amulet, and crown. Then she lowers the sun and raises the moon. Finally,she goes to bed and said. "This is going to be a fun adventure".
     Celestia woke to the sound of crying and went to investigate. The crying was coming from Sol's room. She quickly walks to the door and opens it. Sol was crying his eyes out and she didn't know what was wrong.
"What's wrong with you!" She said. "Wait! You must be hungry."she said as she was leaving the room. Then she came back with a bottle of milk. "There we are a warm bottle of milk." She set the bottle in front of Sol. "Come on, drink up." Sol picks the bottle up and throws it in Celestia's direction, but ends up going over the crib and hits the ground then rolls and hits her hoof. Sol started to cry again.
     Two hours later a female royal guard walks in the room,looks at Sol, and said "did you try bringing the crib into your room. He probably had a nightmare?"
Celestia pulled the crib into her room. Sol stopped crying and he was out cold. Celestia thanks the guard for her help and went to bed.
     The next morning,Celestia woke to her alarm clock and rises the sun. Then goes over to the crib and says "Good morning Solly". She lifts the blanket and he wasn't there." Sol? Sol?! Sol where'd you go?" She looks in every nook and cranny of her room for him."He must have gotten out". As she was going towards the door,she felt something nibbling on her mane. She looks at her mane closely and a small black hoof booped her snout. Then her mane started to giggle. "I've got you now!" she said with a smile. She put her hoof in her mane, but there was nothing there. "Hay where'd you go. I've could've sworn you were here." Then she heard something on the bed. "Ah ha!" She said with confidence. "What?" She look up and Sol was on the ceiling. Walking on his hind legs. "How are you doing that!?" She grabs him and sets him on the floor. When she set him down, he started to stand on his hind legs. She took a closer look at his legs and his knees where bent forwards. Celestia was amazed what the little colt could do. She picked him up and brought him to the kitchen.
     During breakfast, a guard informed Celestia that if she doesn't leave now she'll be late to cut the ceremonial ribbon for the new Starswirl museum of magic and history. She sighs and says " do we have a foal carrier".
     After a few minutes of walking, they finally got to the ribbon ceremony.
"Glad you could make it here, princess." Said the construction worker. "What's with the baby." He said.
"This little colt is my son." She said with a grin. Then all of a sudden all eyes were on her. Then the crowd swarmed her and started asking questions about her child.
"Is the foal a filly or a colt?!"a reporter said.
"A colt." Celestia said.
"What's your child's name?!" another reporter said.
"Sol Eclipse" she said.
"Why is he black instead of white?!" A third reporter said.
"Why doesn't he have wings and a horn?!" A forth reporter said.
"Who is the father?!" A fith reporter said.
"How come you didn't look pregnant?!" A male reporter said.
"Is the father one of the Royal guards?!" Another male reporter said.
"What was it like having intercourse with the father of your child?!" A writer said.
"Has the father proposed to you yet?!" A Sixth reporter said.
"Those are some very interesting question and I'll answ... Hey look its a dog walking a pony!" Celestia shouted.
"Oh,I gotta see this!" the crowd said. With a flash of light she was gone.
"Why do we keep falling for that?" A reporter said.
"Cause its hilarious!" The crowd boomed.
"Yeah I guess that's true."
     "Looks like I'm going to be avoiding for the rest of the day" Celestia said. "Well I think we should be getting back home, Sol. Its almost lunch time."
After a few minutes, Celestia saw a restaurant.
"How about we have our lunch in there. How's that sound, Sol." She walked towards the restaurant and opened the door. When she did everypony looked at her and started to whisper.
"I expect this place to be more fancy." She whispered.
"Welcome to FryBales, your majesty. Where our motto is "Are you smellin what were cookin". Said the cashier. "May I take your orders"
"Yes, what do you think we should have Sol." Sol tries to reach for the menu."I think he wants our new Hay Pattie?!" She said while smiling at Sol.
"OK, then that's what we'll have"
"Coming right up your Highness. Just sit down any were you want"
"Thank you for your service, how much will this cost?" She said as she pulled a bit bag out of her pokect.
"Its on the house"
Celestia goes to sit down at an empty table. A waitress comes out with there food and brings it to there table.
"Bone apatite" said the waitress.
After she thanked the waitress, she levitated the Pattie to her mouth and took a small bite."This thing is amazing." She said before devouring the Patti. After she was done, she got up and grabbed Sol. Then while she was leaving she said "That Pattie was so good that I just might come back tomorrow."
     "Its getting a little dark. I think its time to head home". Sol lifted his hoof and he tried to grab the moon. "Awww,your just too cute." Then Celestia takes a whiff of the air."I also think you need a bath". Then she teleports to her castle. After giving Sol a bath,she then clothed him and put him to bed."Goodnight, my little Solly." says Celestia. She then lowered the sun and raised the moon. Then she took off her shoes, amulet, and crown then goes to bed.
Before going to sleep Sol heard a voice. "Goodnight my angel of darkness." Said a mysterious voice. Sol then blacked out.

Ch.2 Strength of the Earth
     When Celestia opened her eyes she saw a shadow figure with eyes red as blood, it was standing over her.  The mysterious figure opened its mouth and said "Good morning, Mom!"
"Oh!  Did I forget to raise the sun."  Celestia said as she rose the sun.  "Good morning, Solly.  Why did you wake me up?" She said.
"I don't know how to use the stove."  He said.
Celestia slams her face into her pillow and mumbled "Get one of the chefs to cook for you."  Then a Royal guard walked into the room and informed Celestia that she had an important meeting with Count Ladrón de Sangre.  Celestia sighed and got up.  She walked over to her crown, amulet, and shoes to put them on.
"Moooom!  I'm still hungry!" Sol whined.
"Get him to the kitchen and tell one chefs to cook him breakfast, please."  Celestia said as she was trying to keep her cool.  Sol left with the Royal guard and walked towards the kitchen.
     "What I'm I going to do with him? He doesn't listen to anypony and I want him to learn something, but won't he sit still long enough for me to tell him anything."  She said as she walked towards the window.  "He barely even goes outside and even when he does, he always goes to that one spot and draws in the dirt. This meeting with Count Ladrón de Sangre is to important and he needs to stay out of the way." She says. "Wait! He could go to school, but which school?" She looks around her room seeing if there is a school away from Canterlot in the building archives. "There we go Ponyville has a school and its not too far from Canterlot or to close. Plus, it has a low crime rate. Sol will meet a lot of nice foals and become friends with them. He may even sit still long enough to learn something."  She quickly leaves the room to tell Sol the news.
     Celestia caught up with Sol and to tell him the news. "Solly guess what? Your going to a school in Ponyville isn't that exciting?!" Sol gave her a confused look.
"I already got your lunch packed!" A chef said with a giant grin on her face.
"I'll go get the royal chariot!" The guard said as he ran towards the door.
"But mommy I want to stay here!" Sol cried.
"But it will be fun, Solly!" She said with a smile.
He sat down and said "No! I'm not leaving!"
"Come on Solly don't be difficult." She said.
"I said no!" He said stubbornly.
"Alright then." She said calmly.
     17 minutes later, "NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO! I DON'T WANT TO GO SCHOOL!" Sol screamed as he was holding on to the door as tight as he could.
"Come on Solly it will be fun!" Celestia said as she was pulling Sol with her magic. She sighed and said "What will it take for you to let go of that door?"
"I want five scoops of ice cream for dessert!" Sol demanded.
"You'll get four scoops and nothing more!" She said.
"Deal!" He said while letting go of the door.
"Let's get going." She said.
As a few minutes went by and they finally reached there destination. "Here we are Solly. Ponyville Elementary!" She said. Celestia walked towards the door and knocked on it.
A mare with a brown mane, tale, and eyes. She had black slim glasses and a white collar with a black tie. Her cutie mark were three pencils. "Come on in,your highness." She said as she held the door opened.
"This is were you will be learning from now on, Sol." Celestia said.
"Take a seat right here, Sol." The Teacher said as she pointed to the desk in the back of the room.
"Bye Solly, I'll see you after school!" Celestia said as she was walking out the door.
     Several minutes later, everypony arrived for school and after taking attendants the Teacher said "Class! We have a new student today! Come on up!" Sol got up and walked nervously towards the front of the classroom. "Come on little one tell us your name." She said.
Sol took a deep breath and said "H-Hi my name is Sol Eclipse."
"That's a wonderful name for a colt, and in this class we say a little something about ourselves and the other students get to ask questions about you." She said.
"O.K." He said before taking another deep breath "I am 8 years old and the son of Princess Celestia. I also like to play around in the castle and play with the people who work for my mom."
"That is very interesting, now go sit at your spot and we'll begin the lesson." Sol walked back to his desk and sat down.
"Pssst?! Pssssst?!" A student whispered to Sol.
"What?!" Sol said silently.
He looked over to see a filly with a white coat and a purple mane and tail that starts straight but curls at the end. Her eyes were blue as the sea. Plus she had a horn. "If your really the son of the Princess, then where's your horn and wings and why aren't you at a private school in Canterlot?" She whispered.
"I don't know?" He mumbled.
"What was that?" She said.
"I..." Before Sol could say the sentence he was interrupted  by the teacher.
"Miss Rarity, I told you yesterday that you can't talk while I'm teaching! I have no choice but to call your parents!"
Sol looked over to Rarity and saw that she look liked she was about to cry. Sol stood up and said "Wait! It wasn't her fault! It was mine. I didn't now that we couldn't speak while you were teaching and she was telling me to be quiet."
"What was so important that it couldn't wait after class?" She said.
"I ask what was her name and what she liked to do for fun. I also asked her if we could hang out during recess."
The teacher ask "Miss Rarity, is this true?"
"Yes, it is ma'am." She responded.
"Well then I think I owe you an apology and as for you Mister Eclipse I would like to see you after class."
     During recess, Sol walk over to the tree near the swing set and sat there in the shade with his head down. Then all of a sudden Sol felt a pain in his head.
He heard a voice saying "Why? Why did you help that mare?"
"Cause she needed help!" He said.
Then a shadowy figure appears from Sol's shadow. It was in the shape of a foal. Its fur was as black as Sol's, but it had different features. It had a sharp and pointy horn. It also had bat wings instead of bird wings. It's mane was pulled back as if it was flying at high speeds. It was black with a dark gray strip. Its ears were curved and pointy. Its teeth were sharp as knives. But what really scared Sol was Its eyes they were blood red and looked like the eyes of a cat.
"W-W-Who are you?" Sol said while he was scared out of his wits.
"Why I am the beast trapped inside a prison in your head. I'm Solar Flare and I am the evil who will one day destroy Equestria and wipe out everypony on this pitiful planet."
"W-Why would you do that?"
"Because they disserve it, they will be punished for what they have to me."
"What did they do to you?"
Solar sighed and said "A long time ago,*I'll write about this later* and that's why I don't trust anypony and why I'm alone."
"So you don't have a friend?"
"What did I just say?!"
"Actually, your wrong."
"What did you just say?!"
"I mean you've been with me since I was born right?"
"Yeah, and?"
"And you don't sound so bad, you were probably hanging around the wrong ponies. So I thought that me and you could be friends."
"You want to be friends with the worst pony who ever lived?"
"Yeah, you sound like fun!"
A smile can to Solar and said "OK, Sol I'll be your friend, but remember that I can only speak with you at certain times of the day." He then evaporates into thin air.
     "Sol! Sol! Sol!" Screamed a voice that came from behind him. He turned around and saw Rarity galloping towards him.
When she got to him, he said "Rarity why are you here?"
"Because I wanted to say thank you for taking the blame, but you didn't have to do that."
"Nonsense! I was just helping a pony in need." Sol then looked towards the tree.
"Sol, what's wrong?" She said worriedly.
"Nothing. Besides the fact that I got in trouble on my first day of school." Sol looked at Rarity then he looked at the ground to his right.
"I'm sorry that I got you in trouble, this all my fault I should have kept my mouth shut then non of this would have happen."
"Don't beat yourself up over this Rarity its fine I've been in trouble before. Besides this is nothing compared to what I have done before."
Sol stood up and looked at Rarity and she said "You want to come over to my house after school and have a sleep over?"
"What?! I mean sure. I'll just have to ask my mom before I can go."
"OK see you after school."
"Bye!"
     After she left, Sol let out a deep breath and fell on his back staring at the clouds. "I'm screwed."
Then Solar appeared. "What's so bad about it?"
"Well this is going to be my first sleep over! With a girl no less!"
"And what's so bad about that?"
"Its bad because I might make a fool out of myself, l don't think I should go."
"Nonsense you should totally go! You don't want to miss your first slumber party do you?!"
"Well no."
"Then stop complaining and start making new friends!"
"Your right Solar."
"Of course I am what kind of friend would I be if I wasn't? Well time for me to go. Bye."
"See ya."
     After school was over, everypony was surprised  to see Princess Celestia was standing in the school yard. Everypony stared as Sol trotted over to her. "Hi mom! How was the meeting?"
"It went well. How was your first day at school?"
"It was great I even made a new friend!"
"Really, what's their name?"
"Her name is Rarity!"
"That's wonderful Solly!" The crowd of foals behind them snickered. "Come on, we need to get home."
"Um mom?"
"Yes?"
"I was wondering if I could have a slumber party at Rarity's house tonight?"
"Of course you can. I'll just go home and pack your stuff." Celestia then hoped into the chariot and flew off.
Sol turned around to see four fillies in his face. "Aahh!" He screamed.
"Oh, did we scare you?" Said the last filly.
"No! I was just uuuuhhhhh. OK you scared me. Who are you four even?"
"I'm Bon Bon, nice to meet you." Said the first filly.
"I'm Colgate, and I think you should brush your teeth more often." Said the second filly.
"I'm Cheerile." Said the third filly.
"And you are?"
"I'm Derpy!"
"That's cool and all but what's your name?"
"I'm Derpy!" She repeated.
"I know your derpy but what's your name?!"
"Its Derpy!"
"What's derpy?! Are you saying I'm derpy?!"
"No! Derpy!" She pointed to herself.
"Is that all you say?"
"No! My name is Derpy Hooves!"
"Oooooohhhhh. Your name is Derpy."
"Yeah!"
"OK, sorry."
"Its fine it happens a lot more than you think."
"Now that we got that out of the way, all four of us can go to Rarity's house and have that slumber party!" Said Bon Bon.
"Wait!? Your going over to Rarity's for a slumber party?"
"Of course we are! Were her friends why wouldn't we?"
"Well..."
Colgate then said "Bon Bon we are going to be late!"
"Bye Sol!" Sol waves goodbye.
     After an hour went by, Sol finally made it to Rarity's house. He took a deep breath and said "Here goes nothing."
He rang the doorbell and waited for somepony to answer it. To his surprise Rarity's father answered the door. "Can I help you?"
"Um. I'm here for the slumber party."
"One moment." He closed the door. Sol put his ear up to the door and heard the conversation between Rarity's mother and father. "Honey! There's a colt a the door!"
"Why is he here?"
"He's here for Rarity's slumber party and I think Rarity invited him over!"
"Awww! Our little girl is growing up so fast. Today's its boys tomorrow she'll be taking your wagon."
"I still think he's bad news!"
"Let him in!"
"Fine! But if he either breaks her heart, gets her pregnant, or she runs off with him I'm going to beat the living shit out of him!" Sol takes his head away from the door. "Come in. Rarity's room is upstairs, down the hall, and the first door on your right."
"Thank you, Sir." Sol then walked up the stairs, went down the hall, and looked at the first door on his right. He walked to it and took another deep breath. Then he knocked on the door.
     Sol again waited for somepony to answer the door. The door opened and Sol saw Rarity. "Solly!" She screamed as she pulled him in. "Girls. This is my friend Sol and I'm sure you met Bon Bon, Colgate, Cheerile, and Derpy!"
"Yes I have!"
"Hey Sol!" Said Bon Bon "Your just in time to play Truth or Dare!"
"What!? No!"
"Come on Sol, unless your too chicken to play?"
Sol looked at Bon Bon with his game face and said. "Bring it on!" Sol walked over and sat in the circle.
"OK I go first! Said Bon Bon "Derpy truth or dare?"
"Truth!"
"Who is the most best looking Colt you ran into in Ponyville?"
Derpy's face turned pinkish red color. "Can you ask another question?"
"Sorry Derpy she can't give you another question those are the rules." Colgate exclaimed.
Derpy's face turned even more red. She took a deep breath and then said. "Sol Eclipse!" Her face turned red as a tomato. She looked at Sol and saw that his face was more red than hers.
"C-C-Can please move on?" Sol suggested with a studding in his voice.
"OK, Derpy It's your turn."
"F-Fine, Colgate truth or dare?"
"Dare!"
"I dare you too brush your teeth with mud." Colgate got up, walked out the door and came back with a cup of mud. She sat down and dip her toothbrush in the cup. She then took the toothbrush out, stuck it in her mouth and started brushing her teeth with it. "Hey Colgate how does it tastes?" Sol said with an evil smile.
"It tastes like dirt, what do think it tastes like!?" Colgate got up and walked over to the bathroom and spits the dirt out before cleaning her mouth with the sink. Then walked back over and sat down. "Alright, my turn. Derpy truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you too kiss Sol for 10 seconds on the lips!"
Derpy's face turned red and Sol's did, too. She got up and walked over to Sol and sat next to him. She lifted her head up, turned to face Sol, and went in for the kiss. Sol backed his head away from hers.
Sol then thought to himself. [Oh no no no no no no no no no no no no no no. Maybe if I keep my head back. Everypony is staring at me. I didn't want to like a fool and certainly don't want to look like a coward. Come on Sol grow some guts and just kiss her! Colgate I'm going to kill you for this!] He then pulled his head forward, closed his eyes, and waited.
Derpy turned to look a Colgate "I think might be having..." She turns towards Sol. "....second thoug *mmf* Derpy then closed her eyes slowly.
Bon Bon counts. "1...,2...,3...4,...5,...,6...,7...,8...,9...,10!...,11?...,12?...,13?...,14?...,15?...,16?..."
Rarity then elbows Sol in the rib. "Ow! What!?"
"Your time ended 7 seconds ago."
"I think this is a great time to stop. Besides its getting pretty late. I think we should get ready and go to bed"
     That night Derpy woke up, "Sol? Are you sleeping?"
"I was."
"Oh sorry."
"Its fine."
"I was wondering." She got up and laid down next to the window were Sol was.
Sol sat up."Yeah!"
"Did you mean it?"
"Mean what?"
"Did you mean to kiss me?"
"Yeah of course it wouldn't be a kiss if I didn't."
"So does this mean you like me?"
"Yes."
"I mean like like me like me?"
"Yes Derpy, I do love you."
She looked at Sol and said "What did you say?"
"I love you."
"But a prince like you and a loser like me. It would never work out."
"Derpy your not a loser your just special in your own way."
"Nopony ever said that to me before. Hey Sol can I sleep here tonight?"
"Sure." Derpy scooted towards Sol and lied down. Sol laid down and rolled on to his side. He grabbed his pillow and cuddled with it. Derpy turn over to see this and she moved the pillow then she laid down where the pillow was. Before Derpy feel asleep she said "I love you, Sol."
Sol then kissed her on the head and said "I love you, too, Derpy." Before falling asleep.
     The next morning, Sol woke up with Derpy still in his arms. Sol looked out the window to see what time it was. "Oh look its 7:*yawn*53." Before nuzzling with Derpy, again. "WAIT! Its 7:5*sun moves*4! Oh no we're going to be late for school!"
"Sol, why are yelling?" Derpy questioned.
"Derpy! We have to wake everypony up!"
"Why?"
"Because we're going to be late for school! Wait, where are they? They left without us!" Sol quickly picked up Derpy and told her to get dressed. A few minutes of complaining and whining later, they got dressed and galloped towards the school. Sol and Derpy made it to the school, sort of. "Come on Derpy school is right over the hill." Sol says gasping for air.
"Sol look!"
"Is that smoke?" Derpy galloped to the gray cloud of ash, while Sol followed behind. When Derpy reached the top of the hill. She stopped in her tracks as she seen the horror that the school has been under. When
Sol caught up he saw that Derpy was in total shock. "Derpy what's wrong?" Sol said in a calm voice. Sol heard sirens of a firewagon, then looked to find the sound and saw that the school was engulfed in flames. "Derpy come on let's go back to Rarity's house and talk about this when we get there. OK?"
"OK."
Then all of a sudden Sol heard a scream coming from the school.
"Sol, what is it?"
"Didn't you hear that?"
"Hear what?" Sol then quickly galloped down the hill and towards the the school.
"Sol! What are you doing?!"
"What the hay are doing, foal!? Don't go in there!" Said a Firepony. Sol galloped though the door and hit one of the beams holding the door up and it collapsed.
Derpy was following Sol but was stopped by one of the fire ponies. "But what about him?!"
"We can't get in there. All we can do is hope that he'll make it out."
While inside Sol looked for where the screaming came from. "Hello!? Is there anypony in here!? Hello!?" Sol heard a faint voice over the roaring flames.
"Over here!" The voice said with weak tone. Sol looked around.
"Can you say that again!?"
"Over here!" Sol looked in the corner and saw a pile of support beams.
"Hold on I'm coming!" Sol yelled. When Sol got there he saw alight Greg mare with a purple curled mane under the support beams.
"Rarity!?"
"Sol!? What are you doing here?!"
"I'm here to save you!" Sol clamped on to the support beams and lifted with all his might, but sadly it wasn't enough.
"Sol get out of here and leave me here! Your more important then I am."
"No!"
"What!?"
"I'm not going to leave you here to die! Nopony's dying on my watch! I'm not going to give up! I'm going to keep trying even if it kills me!" Rarity looked at Sol and gave a smile of hope. Then Sol's eyes turned white as snow. A light appeared from his chest and a glowing stream of light came out. The stream rapped around Sol's hooves and disappear into thin air. Sol then started to lift the support beams and held them up with one hoof and  grabbed Rarity with the other. Sol then pulled her out and dropped the support beams. Sol's eyes stopped glowing white. Then he stood on his hind leg, snapped his knees forward, and begun to walk. Rarity was surprised that he could walk like this.
Sol saw the front door was blocked and Rarity said with fear in her voice "How will we get out know?" Sol took a few steps back and bolted toward the door. He turned and slammed the rubble with his shoulder. He busted through and rolled along the ground. Losing grib of Rarity in the process.
Sol could hear faint voices. "Hey, kid are you OK?" One of the Fireponies said.
"This one over here is still alive!" Another said.
"We need immediate medical evac here know!" Boomed the Firepony in front of him.
"Listen kid your going to be OK. Just stay awake." Sol turned his head right and saw the burning school. He turned his head to the left and saw Derpy in tears. He then saw total darkness when he blacked out suddenly.
    Sol woke up in a room of nothing but cosmic dust. He was standing on an invisible floor and there was nothing for miles. "Where am I?"
"Hello again, Sol." Says a deep voice behind him.
"Oh Solar, its just you. You scared me you know. Solar why are you getting closer?" Without warning Solar jumped at Sol with his mouth opened. Sol woke up again. "That was odd. Wait! Why am I in Ponyville?" Sol then heard a scream of terror. He ran towards the sound and saw what was going on.
"Sol what's wrong? Did I do something to anger you?" Said Cheerile with terror in her voice. Then Solar jumped at her and started to bite. He bit into Cheerile's front right leg. He ripped chunks of fur and flesh off. Cheerile headbutts him in the face and started to limp away. Solar licks his lips with his tounge to taste the blood of his new found prey. The slits of his eyes widened. He looked at her and got up on his hind legs and snapped his knees forward. Sol galloped to them and tried to tackle Solar but he went right through him. Sol then ran at Cheerile and blocked her with his body. Sol closed his eyes and waited for the pain that he was about to endear. Solar then charged at them, opened his mouth, and went for a bite. When Sol opened his eyes, he saw that Solar's head was in his chest. When he took a step to the side, he saw what Solar did. He was clamping onto Cheerile's neck. Sol watched in horror as he heard her scream in pain. Sol started to cry as he heard a crack and the screaming stop. He saw as Solar let go of her and the lifeless body that was once Cheerile hits the floor. Solar then started to bite and tear her stomach open when he did, he feasted on her insides. Sol couldn't do anything but just stand there and watch as his friend was being devoured.
     Sol once again woke up. He saw a young unicorn stallion with fur of an orange color, a brown mane and tail, and blue eyes. He was wearing a white lab coat and a stethoscope. "Oh good, your awake." He said "My name is Dr.Stable."
"Where I'm I?"
"Your in the hospital. You gave us quite the scare their."
"Where's Rarity? What happen to her?"
"She's fine. She was let out of the hospital a week ago."
"How long have I've been here?"
"A couple of months."
Sol then closed his eyes and saw Derpy on the day the school was on fire. He quickly opened his eyes and shot up. "Where's Derpy?!" Sol shouted. He felt a tight squeeze on his hoof and he looked to see what was the problem. He saw a grey Pegasus filly with a blonde mane and tail. He then laid back down and shook his hoof. Derpy woke up to a black figure with red eyes it opened its mouth and said "Good morning, Derpy." Derpy looked at him and she sheds a tear. "Derpy are you O–" Sol was cut off in mid sentence when Derpy locked lips with him. Derpy backed away and hugged him.
"Please don't ever do that to me, again. I thought you were dead." Derpy squeezed tighter. "Why would you do that!? Are you trying to kill yourself!?" Derpy broke into tears.
Sol then wrapped his arms around her and stroked her mane. Sol started to speak in a calming voice. "Shhhhh. Its ok. I'm fine. I'll be out of here in a few days. Just go home, your parents are probably worried about you."
"Ok." Derpy says with a sniff. She then left the room without saying anything else.
     That night in the hospital, Sol was staying up late to read.
"I can't believe that they have books here."
Sol looked up from his book to see Dr Stable. "Time for all foals to get some sleep. Goodnight, Sol."
"Goodnight." Sol put down the book on the side table beside his bed. He then laid down and closed his eyes.
A voice then said "One down, two too go. Goodnight my Angel of Darkness."

Ch.3 Falling Towards the Sky
     Sol is just walking out of the school on a hot summers eve. "Why does school have to be such a pain in my flank?" Sol said. "Luckily its the last day of school. That means I can spend more time with my friends and not have to worry about homework or detention!"
    As Sol walked through Ponyville he waved to all the ponies he knew like he would normally do and they would always wave back. This has been going on since he rescued Rarity from the burning school house. He would always meet Derpy and his friends at Fry Bales. But for some reason Celestia was there with them. "Mom!"
"Oh hi, Solly!" When she said that he heard his friends snicker.
"MoOoOom! Stop embarrassing me in front of my friends!"
"Would you like me to call you Solly Poo instead?"
"NO!!" She giggled at the thought of calling him that and then sighed.
"I'm here for a reason, Solly." She said with a serious tone in her voice. "I'm sorry, Sol."
[Wait! Did she just call me Sol? That's not good.]
"But your not going to be able to stay in Ponyville during the summer."
"What!?" Sol said as he felt like somepony had just smashed his heart into pieces.
"Your going to a flight camp in Cloudsdale."
[Wait, I can get out of this.] "But mom I don't have wings. So I can't walk on clouds."
"I have a spell for that. We're leaving in an hour. That'll give you enough time to say your goodbyes. I'll pick you up later." She said as she trotted over to the chariot.
     "I can't believe I'm leaving, but I love this place." Sol said as he started to swell up in tears in mid sentence. Derpy got up and trotted over to Sol and gave him a hug. Rarity, Colgate, and Cheerile all did the same.
"I'm going to miss you." Bon Bon said. Everypony was shocked at what she said. She would always tease Sol, but she always made sure when its time to stop or when its ok to tease him. "I know that in the past I would tease you, but I did it to everyone of my friends and they would always leave. I was nicer to Derpy, Colgate and Cheerile would just ignore me, and Rarity would just except it. But you, I have called you so many names, made fun of you, and even pull pranks that were only funny to me. Know that I think about it, I was a bully to you and we're still friends. Why? Why would you still be friends with somepony who was so mean to you?"
Sol gently pushed everypony away and trotted over to Bon Bon. He put his hoof on her shoulder. "Forgive and forget." Sol then gave her a hug. "Your my friend Bon Bon and friends forgive each other. No matter how many times you make fun of me, you'll always be a fantastic friend in my heart." Bon Bon wrapped her arms around Sol and broke into tears.
"Sol?" Bon Bon said with a sniff.
"Yeah?" Bon Bon squeezed tighter.
"Your the most kindess, most bestess friend I've ever had. I'm going to miss you."
"Me too." Rarity said before walking to him and hugging him.
"Me three" Cheerile said before she hugged Bon Bon, Rarity, and Sol.
"Me four." Colgate said as she squeezed into the bunddle of ponies to hug Sol.
Derpy than galloped over and hugged him as tight as she could. "I'm going to miss you most of all." Derpy said with tears in her eyes. Derpy then looked at Sol and gave him a kiss.
"1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10...11...12...13...14...15...16...17...18...19...20." Bon Bon counted as they stopped.
Colgate continued with "You were supposed to stop 10 seconds ago." That's when they all broke out into laughter.
     An hour later, Sol and his friends all waited for Celestia to arrive. "Where is she?" Sol said.
"Maybe she's not coming?" Rarity pointed out.
"Or maybe she was kidnapped by changelings?!" Bon Bon shouted.
"That's very unlikely." Colgate argued.
"Maybe she was kidding?" Derpy said.
"She wasn't kidding, because she said my name instead of my baby name. She'll be here I know it." Sol then saw Celestia and yelled. "Look there she is!"
The chariot landed right in front of them. "You can say your goodbyes now." His friends all stood in a row side by side with a couple of feet separating them. Sol began to walk towards the chariot.
He stopped and turned to face Rarity. "Rarity, thank you for being my friend. You gave me amazing advice on how to style my mane and tail and telling me which color looks the best on me. You also taught me how to sew which was pretty cool."
"Thank you for saving me, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. You're always there when I need you." Rarity then kissed him on the cheek. "Goodbye." Rarity said as she tried to hold back the tears.
Sol then walked towards Cheerile and turned to face her. "Thank you for being the shoulder for me to cry on. You've always been the one to help me out, even if its more then you can handle. You also taught me how to be a responsible young colt."
"Try to make more friends. OK." Sol nodded and walked over to Colgate and turned to face her.
"Thank you for being the friend who cares about my safety. You also showed me that I have been brushing my teeth all wrong."
"Make sure you brush at least twice a day for two minutes."
Sol trotted to Bon Bon. "Bon Bon your still a fantastic friend and I hope our paths will someday cross once again."
"Me too. See you around, dork." Sol smiled at her and trotted to Derpy who was standing in front of the chariot.
"Derpy, you probably know what I'm going to say."
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
"Please, don't go."
"I have to Derpy, I'm sorry."
"Just swear. Swear you will come looking for me when you get out."
"I swear. Goodbye, Derpy." Sol then kissed her on the forehead goodbye. During the kiss Derpy shed a tear. Sol then hopped on to the chariot and yelled "Goodbye, Ponyville!" Before flying off in to the distance.
"I miss him already."
     Sol looked over the side of the chariot with a sad look in his eyes. Lost in his mind he found memories of his friends and started to cry. [Why? Why does it matter? What's so important about a flight camp? Does it have something to do with that day the school caught on fire? I'm still confused on how I became stronger than I was before. Rarity did say that may eyes turned white as snow, but what does that mean? She also said that I was more determined to get out of there and that I was more worried about her safety then my own. Derpy said I looked heroic when I smashed through the rubble so that's kinda cool.]
     "Solly, were here!" Celestia yelled.
Celestia casted the spell on Sol so that he can walk on clouds. "How long will the spell last?"
"All summer." Sol hopped out of the chariot. "Good luck, Solly!" She shouted and then sped off.
"Hello there little guy." Said a voice as sweet as cotton candy. Sol turns around to see a black colored Pegasus mare with brown eyes and a black mane and tail with a yellow stripe. Her mane style was long and straight with curves at the ends. Almost all of her mane covers her right ear. Her cutie mark was a grey cloud with a yellow lighting bolt. "You must be the new kid. I'm Midnight Strike and this is my partner Gothic Hooves." Sol looked at the pony next to her. She was a dark purple mare with red eyes and a full black mane and tail. The feathers on the bottom of her wings are black. Her eyes had black make up under them to make it look like she was crying. Her eyelashes were spiked. Her front two legs had two stockings.
"Nice to meet you two, my name is Sol Eclipse. As you my probably already know I am the son of Princess Celestia." Gothic then hides behind Midnight while quivering in fear. "What's wrong with her?"
"Oh she always get like this when there's new ponies. Gothic why don't you show Sol where he will be sleeping." Gothic nodded and motioned Sol to fallow her.
     When they reached the sleeping quarters, Gothic then showed Sol were he will be sleeping. The sleeping quarters were a long hallway with bunk beds all along the sides. As Gothic start to leave Sol pulled on her tail stopping her and forcing her to turn around.
"Hey, Gothic I just wanted to say thanks." Sol then leaned over to grab something out of his saddlebags. He pulled out a dark purple rose. "I was going to give this to a mare I love but I forgot about it, so I think you should have it. Lower your head." Sol put the rose in her mane next to her left ear. Sol pulled out a mirror from his saddlebags and gave it to her. "What do you think? Do you like it?" Gothic shook her head from left to right. "Oh." Sol sadly said.
Gothic hugged him when he was about to cry. "I love it. Thank you." Gothic said with a voice of a teenage mare. "You better get some rest you have a long day ahead of you. By the way the colt sleeping quarters are full so you'll be sleeping in the filly's sleeping quarters." Gothic started to heads towards the door.
"Goodnight, Gothic."
"Sleep tight, Sol."
     Sol awoke to the sound of crying, he looked around to see where it was coming from. Sol got up and started walking towards the sound. The sound kept getting louder and louder. The crying was coming from the back of the hall. He then saw something on top of one of the bottom bed. When he got closer he saw that it was a little yellow filly with a pink mane and tail. Sol lifted his hoof to poke the filly. When he poked her, she lifted her head and turned to look at him. Sol notice that she's been crying her eyes out. He also notice that she had teal eyes. "Hi my name is—" Sol was cut off in mid sentence with a blood curdling scream. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa—" Sol shoved his hoof into her mouth. "Know I'm going to remove my hoof from your face and you have to promise not to scream." She nodded and Sol took his hoof away. "Know my name is Sol Eclipse and you are..."
Before she could say anything two voices said "Fluttershy! Fluttershy! Fluttershy can hardly fly!" She lowered her heard and started to tear up again. Sol turned around to see two colts. The first one had a caramel colored coat and a brown mane and tail, his eyes were emerald green. The second one had a brown coat with a dirty white mane and tail, his eyes were sky blue.
"Who are you two?"
"I'm Dumb-bell" said the brown colt. "And he's Hoops" Dumb-bell said as he pointed at the caramel colored colt.
"So, do you two know what her name is?"
"Who? You don't mean that little crying loser."
"Yes, her."
Dumb-bell smiled evilly at Hoops. "We'll tell you her name if you go make fun of her."
"What?! No!"
"We'll even tell you how to get the best tasting sweets around here and we can also help you get the best flying average in this camp."
"Well I do like sweets and I do want to show my mom how good I'm doing."
"Then go make fun of her."
Sol walked over to Fluttershy. "Hey, Fluttershy?" She lifted her head to look at him. Sol closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened his eyes he saw the pain in her face. [Oh no. What am I going to do? I want sweets but I don't want to hurt her feelings. I want to prove to my mom that I don't need this camp. But is that really worth it? I'm going to have to pick one or the other.] Sol sighed. "Fluttershy! Fluttershy! Fluttershy is a cutie pie!" Sol said with a smile. Fluttershy started to blush.
"Huh?"
"And as for you two, if I ever see you make Fluttershy cry again. So help me I will obliterate you! You got that!" They nodded. "Now, LEAVE MY SIGHT!!" They both bolted out the door running as fast as they could. Sol took a deep breath and walked over to his bed and fell asleep.
     Fluttershy trotted to Sol and tried to wake him up. "Come on Derpy, just five more minutes!"
"Move Flutters, I got this!" The filly then through a bucket of ice cold water onto Sol. Sol woke up in a panic and fell off his bed.
"WHAT THE HAY, FLUTTERSHY?!" Fluttershy pointed to the sky blue filly with a rainbow mane and tail. She also had dark pink eyes.
"WHO IN TARTARUS ARE YOU!"
"I'm Rainbow Dash and you are..."
He sighed. "I'm Sol Eclipse."
"Wait! Are you the Sol Eclipse? The same Sol Eclipse who saved a filly from a burning building? That Sol Eclipse?"
"How do you know about that?"
"Who doesn't know?"
"That's just great." Sol said sarcastically. "Why did you wake me up?"
"Because your going to miss the Wonderbolt!"
"What's a Wonderbolt?"
"What!? You don't know who the Wonderbolts are! Have you been living under a rock or something?! The Wonderbolts are the most elite flyers in all of Equestria!"
"Ooh! You mean those pegesi who fly for my mom!"
"Very unlikely, unless your mom is Princess Celestia!" Rainbow Dash joked.
"Actually—"
Sol was interrupted by thethe buzzing on the intercom. "All Pegesi report to the training field."
"Come on, Sol! We gotta go!" Rainbow Dash grabbed Sol's hoof and galloped towards the door dragging Sol with her.
     Rainbow and Sol are galloping across the strip. "Come on, Sol! Pick up the pace!"
"Wouldn't it be easier to just fly over!?" Rainbow Dash stopped dead in her tracks. Sol caught up to her. "Rainbow? Are you ok? I know! Maybe a bit of flying might cheer you up? You can do a barrel roll!"
"I CAN'T FLY!" She screamed as she turned to face Sol.
Sol saw tears in her eyes and now realizing his mistake. So he tried to calm her down. "R-Rainbow I didn't—"
"OF COURSE YOU DIDN'T KNOW, NOPONY SHOULD EVER KNOW!"
Sol and Rainbow heard distance laughter "So you can't fly, huh." Sol recognizes that voice from anywhere. With more tears in her eyes then before, Rainbow looked behind Sol with horror. Sol turned around to see what she was starring at. He saw the two colts.
"I thought I told you two..."
"That was Fluttershy. You didn't say anything about Rainbow Crash."
"Well the same goes for her."
"You can't do that. You can only protect one or the other."
"Who said?"
"You can't guard two ponies at the same time."
Sol sighs. "Your right."
Sol started to walk away. "Sol!? What are you..."
"I'm sorry ,Rainbow."
Rainbow Dash looked in front of her to see the two colts standing over her. "If you can't fly, that means you can't fly away. Hoops hold her down." Hoops jumped on top of her. Holding her down by her four legs. "I guess you won't be needing these anymore." Dumb-bell stated to pull Rainbow's feathers out of her wings. Sol turned his head to look what was happening. He saw Hoops pining her down while Dumb-bell was pulling her feathers out by the mouth full. Sol's eyes turn into slits and didn't think anything of it. He turned around and galloped back at full speed. His knees snapped forward while he was galloping. When he got there he punched Hoops in the face with his hoof. Hoops flew sideways hitting Dumb-bell in the process. They rolled a few inches away from them. Hoops got up holding his mouth while blood was dripping from his hoof. Dumb-bell got up quickly and ran to Sol. Dumb-bell cocked his hoof back to punch him. He swings. Sol grabbed his hoof and pulled him forward. Sol put Dumb-bell's arm in front of him and pulled his knee up. Sol's knee broke Dumb-bell's arm the other way. Sol put his leg down and slammed his other leg into the already injured Dumb-bell's leg, breaking it. Dumb-bell fell to his knees in tears. Sol cocked his hoof back and looked into Dumb-bell's eyes and saw fear. Then he slammed his hoof into Dumb-bell's face as hard as he could. Sol heard Dumb-bell's skull breaking as his hoof made contact with Dumb-bell's face. Dumb-bell fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood. Sol looked at Hoops thinking he would do something. But Hoops was looking at his bloody friend in horror. Sol looked at Rainbow Dash and saw nothing but shear terror. Sol's eyes turned back to normal. Sol heard loud gasping behind him. When he looked to find the source he saw a group of foals and a few adults staring at him. Medical Pegesi ran over to Dumb-bell with a stretcher and carried him away. Sol watched as he saw one of the flight teachers carried Hoops away. Rainbow was also carried away.
Sol looked in front of him to see Midnight Strike standing over him.
"Sol, my office! Now!" Then walked away. Sol followed her.
     "WHAT IN THE HAY WERE YOU THINKING!?!?" YOU NOT ONLY BEAT UP TWO COLTS! BUT YOU ALMOST KILLED ONE OF THEM! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOUR SELF!?!?"
Sol started to cry. "I was I was just..." Sol broke into tears. He couldn't say anything else.
Midnight passed the phone to him. "Here. Call your mother to come and pick you up." Sol pushed the phone back to her. She looked at him with confusion. "Aren't you going call your mother?" Sol shook his head. "So you're going to stay even after what you've done?" Sol nodded. Midnight sighed. "Fine you can stay but if you tell me why you did what you did?" Sol didn't say anything. He kept his head down. Still shaking. "Alright if your not going to tell me." She picked up the phone. "Then I'll call your mother." She started to put in the number.
"I was trying to protect her."
She turned around. "Trying to protect who?" She said as she put the phone back.
"Rainbow Dash, they were bullying her."
"Who was bullying her?"
"Hoops and Dumb-bell were pulling out her feathers and I just walked away leaving her open. They said I could either protect Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash but not both. So, I chose Fluttershy. I let them do that to her. But when I turned around. I just lost it. I ran at them without thinking twice. I didn't expect him to run at me. So I beat him up with the thought of killing him on my mind. The rest you already know. I didn't want hurt anypony that bad. I thought he was just going to walk off, I didn't know he would try and fight back. All I could see was blackness when he ran at me." Sol broke into tears again. "Please don't make me go back into the darkness. I'm scared of it. It won't stop. I can't control it. Every time the takes hold of me I become a monster Please don't let it take me away." Midnight got up and trotted around her desk.
She went over to comfort him like a mother would with her child. "Sssshhhh. Don't worry. I won't let the darkness take you. Your not going anywhere." Sol gave her a hug and she did the same in return. "Sssshhhh. Its ok. I will keep the darkness away. I will protect you from it." Sol squeezed tighter.
"Thank you."
"Sol?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you want to sleep in my room tonight?"
"Mmhm.... Midnight?"
"Yes?"
"Can I stay in your room longer than tonight?"
"Ok, Sol you can stay with me until you get over your fear."
"Thank you."
     That night, Sol and Midnight were walking down a hall. "Were here." She said as she took the keys out of her pocket. She then unlocks the door and opens it up. Sol could see a small room with a bed in the middle of it. There were two nightstands next to the bed. And on those two nightstands there were lamps and on one of them there was an alarm clock. "I don't have another bed, so you'll be sleeping on my bed with me." Sol walked over to the bed and got on it. He then wrapped himself in a blanket and tried to go to sleep. Midnight walked over to her bed and got in it. She rolled over to Sol and puts her arm around him and held him close. Sol fell asleep in her arms. "Goodnight, Sol."
     Sol woke up at seven in the morning. "Uuggh. What was that? Are those hoof steps and voices?" Sol listened closer. "Rainbow?" He said.
"I can fly!"
"Rainbow!" Sol jumped out of the bed and slammed through the door.
Midnight woke with a fright. "Sol, where are you going?! Sol!?" She galloped after him.
Sol galloped down the hall waking everypony up. Sol slammed though the front door and galloped toward the runway. One of the night guards saw him heading towards the edge and ran after him. Sol saw Rainbow jump off the edge and he ran as fast as he can.
But the guard caught him before he could jump. "Gotcha! Know let's get you back to your sleeping quarters." As the guard carries Sol away from the edge he knew that he had failed. But then Sol heard a faint yelp coming from the edge and bit the guard's wing, tearing off some feathers. The guard dropped him, giving Sol a small window of escape. Sol then bolted towards the edge and leap off the edge. Sol saw Rainbow yards away from him and dived after her. He caught up to Rainbow and grabbed a hold of her.
"Huh? Wait? Sol?! What are you doing here?!"
"I'm here to save you!"
"You have a parachute?"
"Um, about that."
"YOU DON'T HAVE A PARACHUTE! WHAT KIND OF RESCUER ARE YOU!?"
"I'm sorry." He whimpered.
"YOUR SORRY! YOUR SORRY! WE'RE GOING TO DIE, AND ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS "I'M SORRY"! BECAUSE OF YOU I'M NEVER GOING TO BECOME A WONDERBOLT!" Rainbow broke down. "I don't want to die. I'm going to die, alone."
Sol flew in and took her in to an embrace. "Your not going to die, alone."
Rainbow clutches Sol. "Thank you."
     Sol squeezed tighter and tighter. "Sol, what's wrong?" Sol then started to cry out in pain. Rainbow saw bumps on his back getting bigger. The bumps ripped through Sol skin. Sol screamed as loud as he can, to cope with the pain he's under. They were wings made out of bone. Then muscle started to grow from Sol's body to the tip of his wings. The skin and feathers did the same. Sol stopped screaming. When Sol open his eyes they were white as a cloud. "Sol are you ok?" Sol then pulled his wings back and went shot towards the ground. "Sol what are you doing?!" Sol slowly puts his hoof in front of them. Rainbow noticed electricity forming in his hoof. Then air started to form in front off his hoof. "Is that the sound barrier?" Then Sol shot forward leaving behind a giant black expanding circle and a black streak. Sol pulled up before hitting the ground and flying an inch away from it. Sol dropped her before pasting out and crashing into the side of a mountain.
     Sol slowly opened his eyes and heard the sound of a heart monitor. He looked to his left and saw Rainbow Dash sitting on a chair. "Rainbow?"
"Sol?"
"Rainboahhh!"
Rainbow jump out of her chair and ran over to him. "Sol! Lay back down! You need to rest!"
He looked at her and saw something in his peripheral. "Is that a cutie mark I see?"
"Huh? Oh yeah! I got it two weeks ago!"
"Wait!? Two weeks ago? How long have I've been out?"
"You've been out for three months."
"WHAT!"
"Sol please calm down. Its not good for you if you raise your blood pressure after you come out of a coma."
"Where's Derpy?"
"Derpy isn't here anymore. She moved to Manehattan a month ago."
"Did she at least say goodbye?"
"Yes, before she was moving, sorry Sol."
"So, she broke up with me?"
"She said that a long distance relationship wouldn't work."
"Thank you for telling me. But what about Cheerile?"
"She moved to Fillydelphia."
"How's Colgate doing?"
"She in Baltimare."
"Rarity?"
"Still in Ponyville and she got cutie mark as well."
"And Bon Bon?"
"Same thing."
"That's good."
"You have really good friends."
"I know. They're the best!"
"You can visit them, after you get out of the hospital."
"Oh! How's Fluttershy?"
"She lives in Ponyville now and she also had a cutie mark ."
Sol's face turned from joy to worry. "Did Dumb-bell recover?"
"Yes. The doctors said that you were in worse shape then he was."
"And you? How have you been doing?"
"I've hoped that you weren't dead. When they recovered your body from the mountain, they put you in a Medical wagon. I told them I wanted to be by your side. When we got to the hospital they put you on a stretcher and rolled you to this room and your heart stopped. Sol, you died. I was scared. I was so scared that I would never see you, again. When they said you were gone I just walk over to your body and lost it. I slammed my hooves on your chest as hard as I could. When I heard the monitor beeped I never felt so happy to see somepony was going to be ok."
Sol grasps onto her by the hoof and smiled."Did you cry?" Sol joked.
Rainbow's face flushes with a pink tinge and said. "Yes, I did."
"Cry baby."
"Sol?"
"Hmm?"
"I think you forgot something?"
"What did I forget?"
"This." Rainbow got closer to Sol and closed her eyes. Then her lips met with his.
[Is she?]
{yes! yes! yes! yes! yes! yes! yes! yes! yes! yes! yes! yes!}
Sol put his hoof on her head and was going to pull her away, but instead gently pushes her closer. [Huh?! I've never notice how soft her mane is.]
{He so wants me.}
[Wait! I want to try something that Rarity told me about.]
Sol used his tounge to wrap around hers. {What is he doing with his...} Her wings shot up in to the air. {Oh baby!}
[Thank you, Rarity!] Sol lifted his hoof and puts it against to her cheek. He then tilts his head to the right and putting his free hoof on her back.
[Didn't my mom say something about being to young for this. Oh well! Its not like she wants to sleep with me or anything.]
{I wonder what he would say if I told him that I'm ready for him?}
[Luckily mom told me about the birds and the bees.]
{Didn't dad also say that fillies my age can't get pregnant}
[Does she have a wingboner?] {Is he feeling up my wingboner?}
[Buck! I hope she doesn't get the wrong idea?]
{Dad said that means he wants to be more than best friends.}
[This is the longest I've ever kissed anypony before. Do they usually go on for this long?]
{I'm getting a bit hungry. I wonder if he'll ask me out? At least then I'll get some grub.}
[She is cute and funny. But I don't know yet. I think I might ask her out.]

{Wait a second! He's a Prince! He can get me to train with the Wonderbolts! Why didn't I think of this before? Its probably because of... His Ruby red eyes.}
[I wish this moment...]
{...could last forever. But sadly it can't because I'm suppose to be home in an hour and visiting hours are almost over.} Rainbow pulled her head away from Sol's. "Listen Sol I wish I can stay, but I need to get home."
"Ok. I'll see you tomorrow then." Rainbow walks to the door and opens it.
"Hey Rainbow?"
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering if you like to go out sometime?"
"Sure. And Sol?"
"Hmm?"
"Thanks. You know, for saving me."
Sol smiled and said. "No problem."
"Goodnight, angel of darkness."
"Goodnight, Dashie." Rainbow then closed the door. "Wow, new wings and a new friend, who's a filly. This was the best summer ever! Except for the part where I was out for three months. Hmmm? "Angel of darkness" I feel like I've heard that somewhere before?"

Ch.4 A Magical Spell
     Rainbow Dash and Sol are flying in the clear blue sky. "See! I told you I'm faster!" Rainbow said with a smerk.
"That's not fair! I just got out of the hospital!"
"That was three weeks ago."
"Hey! Cut me some slack! I crashed into the side of a mountain!"
{He's never going to shut up about that!}
"Anyways, I need to start heading home. See ya, Dashie!" Sol flew towards Canterlot and while doing so he thought to himself. [I wonder how my mom is going to react to my wings? I haven't seen her since I was dropped off and the doctors say that she didn't visit me when I was in that coma.] Sol stopped in midair and hovered. He countinues to think. [I don't think I should see her first. The doctors also said that Midnight and Gothic visited me every week. I'm going to go see her first, my mom can wait.] Sol turned around and flew in the direction of the flight camp. [Rainbow did say something about me doing a black sonic boom. Wait! I've got an idea.] Sol flew downwards and landed on the ground. [Ok. Now concentrate, Sol. Let see what you can do!] Sol started with a normal takeoff stance and was ready for what he was going to do. "3..." Sol lifted his wings. "2..."  Sol bent down on his forelegs while keeping his hind legs straight. "1..." Sol closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Go!" Sol took off like a bullet. Leaving an expanding black circle on the ground. Sol opened his eyes saw what he had done. [Sweet! What did Dashie call hers? Oh yeah! A Sonic-Rainboom!]
     Sol was just arriving at the flight camp. [Sonic-Shadeboom? Nah. Sonic-Darkboom? Nope. Sonic-Eclipseboom? That one doesn't even make sense. I'm going to have to stick with my first one. Sonic-Shadowboom! Wait! I don't know how to land while I'm doing this!] "LOOK OUT BELOW!!" Sol screamed as he crashes through a building. "Sssssss. I need to work on my landing."
"Sol? Is that you?" Said a voice. Sol could see two figures in the dust. Sol went towards the figures. When he reached the two figures, the light helped him to see them more better, but did not like what he saw.
"Hoops? Dumb-bell? What do you two want?!" He said in annoyance.
"Is that the thanks we get for trying to help?"
"I could've gotten out myself."
Hoops looks at Sol's wings and elbows Dumb-bell. "What?"  Hoops then points at Sol's wings. "When did you get wings?"
"Three months ago. The night after you got sent to the hospital. By the way how's your arm?"
"It hurts when it rains."
"Do you know where Midnight or Gothic is?"
"She's over there and Gothic went back to school."
"Hey, Dumb-bell?"
"Yeah?"
"Sorry about, you know, breaking your legs and your face."
"Its ok Sol, it was going to happen sooner or later."
"So, can we be friends?" Sol extends out a hoof.
"Yeah. We can be friends." Dumb-bell slams his hoof into Sol's.
"See ya guys!" Sol galloped towards the direction Dumb-bell pointed in. Sol saw Midnight and flapped his wings to gain more speed. "Midnight!" He yelled. Midnight turned to face the pony who called her. But it wasn't him. Sol stopped and saw an orange stallion pegasus with a purple mane and tail and eyes. He was a royal guard. Sol watched as the stallion kisses her on the head. Sol smiled when this happened. [You know what, she's happier with him.] Sol took off using the Sonic-Shadowboom to launch himself over to Canterlot.
     Sol zoomed pasted the guards at the front of the gate. He was soaring alongside the road to the castle. [Still don't know how to stop. Wait! I think I can.] Sol brought his wings forward and turned them vertical. Sol started to slow down. He put his hoofs on the ground, stopping him completely. "That's a start." Sol walks over to the castle stairs, but was stopped by the royal guards at the front entrance.
"Halt! Who goes there!?" Said the guard on the right. "State your rank and occupation!"
"Prince Sol Eclipse. I'm here to see my mother, Princess Celestia."
"The Princess doesn't have any children!"
"Did she tell you that herself?"
"Well, no. But I know she doesn't have a child."
Sol grabs the guard's neck of the chest plate and pulled on it, bringing the guard face to face with Sol. "Your new here, aren't you?" The guard nodded in fear. "Ok, new guy, I am the Princess's son and I'm allowed in whenever I want. If you don't let me through, I'll convince my mom to not only fire you but banish you too. You got that!?"
"Y-Y-Yes sir!" Sol gave the guard a nasty look. "I mean. Yes, your highness."
"Good, now go get me glass of chocolate milk!"
"Yes, Prince Sol!" The guard ran down the stairs and sprints across the yard and out the gate. "And as for you, show me where my mom is, please."
"Right this way, Sol."
"Thank you, Silver." Sol then followed the grey colored mare. She had a grey mane and tail both alined with a strands of silver hair. Her eyes were light gray and her cutie mark was a shield, a hammer, and a sword.
     Sol and Silver are walking down the hall and decided to start a conversation. "Hey, Silver? Who was that guard?"
"That was your cousin's new coltfriend."
"Blueblood's gay?"
"Other cousin."
"Cadence? What's the guard's name?"
"Shining Armor."
"So is Cadence still here."
"Yes, she's still here. Do you want to see her?"
"Ya! Where is she?"
"In the back yard. Do I have to walk you to her?"
"Very funny."
"What do I do with Shining?"
"Tell him where I am. It was nice talking to you again, Silver."
"You too. Say hi to Cadence for me."
"Sure thing." Sol took a left and went off in that direction.
"Hey, Sol! I almost forgot, I wanted to give you this on your birthday, but you weren't here, so happy late birthday." Sol walks back over to Silver, seizing the present and opens it. Sol saw what the gift was and looks at her.
Sol hugs her. "Thank you, this is a great gift, Silver."
"You can try it out now. Its ok Sol, it's made from trees from the Everfree Forest."
"Thank you again, Silver." Silver walked off while Sol tore off the rest of the wrapping paper to reveal a skateboard. On the front of it, there was a image of a black pony head with red eyes and a black horn and wings. On the back was a solar eclipse. Sol put it on the ground, snapping his knees in the opposite direction. He put his hoof on the skateboard and tried to stand on it, but fell off. [Come on Sol, balance yourself like you do on your hooves.] He then steps on to the skateboard once more and stood on it. Sol stayed on the skateboard this time. He then pushes off with his other hoof. He then starts to ride the board.
     Sol saw something in the corner of his eye and stops the skateboard. He saw ponies working on a new window, but it was half way done. He looked at the wooden board that pointed out the window. Sol took off, heading towards the plank of wood. He hits it and launches off the plank like a missile. He flew through the air, landing on the tip of his board. Shooting him forwards.
     Sol sliced through the air, landing on somepony. Before landing on this pony, he heard a blood curdling scream. Sol picks himself off the ground and looks in front of him. "Oh hi, Cadence." Cadence then points under him. "What!?" Sol then looks down and sees a purple unicorn filly. She had a straight dark purple mane and tail with a darker purple and a light purple stripes in the middle. She had purple eyes and her cutie mark was one big purple star with white spikes coming out the corners and was surrounded by 5 other white stars. "Oops. Sorry about that. My name is Sol Eclipse. And you are..." Sol said while getting closer to her.
"I-I'm Twilight Sparkle. I'm Princess Celestia's student." She said as her face changed from purple to a rosy color. "A-Are you my trainer? To help me control my magic."
Sol smiled evilly. "Yes, I am." Sol steps off of her. "Cadence, could you please go check on Shining Armor for me and tell him I don't need the chocolate milk anymore."
"Ok?" She left without saying another word.
"Sol?" Twilight questions.
"Hm?"
"How are you going to teach me magic without a horn?"
"I don't need a horn to know how to control magic." Sol walked closer to Twilight. "Twilight, do you know where your power comes from."
"That's easy, it comes the horn itself."
"Acutely your wrong."
"What?! But I got an A on that test."
"What did the question say?"
"It said "Where do unicorns amit their magic?"
"I didn't hear power in there."
"Well...I...uh."
"Your power comes from your heart and how much you can use depends on your will. But what your powered by is the question?"
"What I'm powered by?"
"Yes. Like for instants Celestia is powered by the sun."
"What are you powered by?"
"I'm...uhhh.. powered by umm."
"Your not my trainer are you?"
"No."
"Then why did you lie to me?"
Sol took a deep breath. "I lied because your my mom's new student."
"Wait?! Your?"
"Prince Sol Eclipse. I'm sorry I bothered you, I'll leave you alone now." Sol starts to walk to the castle.
"Sol wait!" Sol stopped and turned to look at Twilight. "Do you want to get something to eat?"
"But what about your trainer?"
"He can wait."
"Yes! So does this means were friends?"
"I guess so?"
"Ok come on I know the perfect place." Without warning Sol took a hold of Twilight's hoof and flew off.
    Sol and Twilight are flying through the sea of gold. "Twilight you can open your eyes now."
Twilight opened her eyes and saw the sun setting.  "Sol? This looks beautiful!"
"I know! My mom does a pretty good job and one day I'll take over that roll. I'll be the one in charge of Equestria."
"That doesn't sound so bad."
"Well it is! I'm supposed to be able to rule the land, by myself I my add!" Sol sighed. "Why am I next in line for the throne? What about Cadence? She knows more about this stuff then I do. Besides she an alicorn and I'm just a pegasus."
"Sol? Are you going to be ok?"
"Yeah. I'm going to be fine. Let's just get to the place I was talking about."
"Sol? Can I tell you something?"
"Go ahead."
"Your my first friend."
"Wait?! You don't have any other friends?"
"No."
"Why don't you have any friends?"
"I don't think friendship is worth anything."
"Twilight."
"Sol? I think I want to go home. Its getting pretty late."
"Ok. But we'll have to walk home. I'm getting tried of flying and there's no wind to keep me up." Sol went lower and landed safely on the ground.
     Sol and Twilight started to walk in a random direction. "Sol, do you even know where we're going?"
"Home!"
"Where do you think..."
Sol heard rustling in the bushes to his left. "Sshh!"
"What!?" Sol looked closer and saw five pairs of glowing yellow eyes in the shadows. Sol then sniffed the air and smelt rotting meat. "S-S-Sol. What are those?" Sol didn't respond and kept looking in that direction. Then a wooden paw stepped out of the shadows and into the light. Sol knew what they were and he had a perfect plan for this kind of situation.
"Twilight?"
"Yeah?"
"RUUUNNN!!!!" Sol and Twilight sprinted in the opposite direction. The creatures then jump out of the shadows and started to chase them.
Twilight looked back to see five wooden wolves chasing them. "Timber Wolves!?"
"Yep!"
"But that's impossible. Timber Wolves are indigenous to the Everfree Forest, what are they doing outside of it?"
"I don't know. You want to stop and ask them?"
"No."
"Then shut up and keep running!"
"What's wrong with you?"
"What's wrong with me? Oh I don't know, maybe its the fact that I'm being chased by carnivorous pony-eating Timber Wolves!"
"This is all your fault!"
"My fault!?"
"If you hadn't of brought me here none of this would be happening!"
"Hey look your the one to blame here! Your the one that said yes!"
"Oh yeah!"
"Yeah!"
They stopped running. The Timber Wolves gave up for know. "Well it was your brilliant idea to run!"
"Then what do you think we should've done?! Huh?!"
"You could've grabbed me and flew to safety!"
"Uh newsflash! My wings are exhausted from carrying your fat flank around!"
"Hey!"
"Its your fault that were in this mess, if you'd put down the book once in a while and went outside and got some exercise, I may be able to carry you!"
"For your information, I do go outside! You slammed into me outside! Why were you even there?!"
"I was there to see my mother!"
"Then why didn't you see her?!"
"I wanted to see Cadence!"
"Why did you want to see my foalsitter?!"
"Because I wanted to know!"
"Know what?!"
"I wanted to know if we could hang out!"
"Why?!"
Sol started to cry. "BECAUSE ALL MY FRIENDS ABANDONED ME!  FRIENDSHIP MY NOT MATTER TO YOU TWILIGHT BUT IT MATTERS TO ME! Friends are ponies who help you in your time of need! Friends are ponies who would be honest to you no matter what! Friends are ponies who are generous to you when you have done good things for them! Friends are ponies who will always try be kind to you no matter mean you are to them! Friend are ponies who make you smile no matter how sad you are! Friends are ponies who don't abandon you even when things get bad!"
"Sol? I...l didn't—"
"I hope you rot in Tartarus." Sol then walks off in a different direction.
"Well fine! Be that way! I don't need you to find my way out! I can get out all on my own! You'll see!"
     Sol was walking for a few minutes, before stumbling upon moonlight through the dark forest. "Finally! I'm out! I wonder if Twilight got out? I hope she's ok? Maybe I should go find her?"
{No!}
"Huh!? Solar?! What do you mean?"
{She betrayed you, just like your other friends.}
"But Twilight doesn't deserve this cruel of punishment. Does she?"
{Yes she does! This is what happens to ponies who abandon us!}
"But Twilight's not a bad pony. Maybe it is my fault?"
{Its not your fault Sol, it was that ignorant little pony's.}
"I guess your right?"
{Of course I am, when have I ever let my friend down?} Sol began walking on.
     Twilight was walking in the forest for a few minutes. "I can't believe him! He just leaves me out here to die!" Twilight kicked a rock into the darkness hitting what looks to be a tree. "Well I did yell at him for no reason. We were in state of panic. I'm not surprised that he ran instead of flew. It was quick thinking. Besides without him I would have never heard those Timber Wolves. But he did bring me here in the first place! But it was beautiful and romantic and the way his eyes sparkle in the sunlight. [No! Bad Twilight! Your supposed to be mad at him! And besides there's no way in Tartarus that a Prince would fall in love with a regular old unicorn like you.] Twilight walks over to a pond and looks at it. She stares into the water. Then a image of her and Sol appears in it. Twilight then hit the water with her hoof. "No!" Then a moving image popped up. She looks at it, she could see a image of a purple unicorn mare who looked just like her. "Is that...me?" She was reading a book. Then the she turned around for something. A black pony with wings and a horn walked into frame. "Sol?!" He then walk over to the Twilight in the pond and took her into his embrace and kisses her.
He then spoked. "I love you, Twilight."
Both younger and older Twilight said. "I love you too, Sol."
"No!" Said younger twilight with a fit of rage and tears in her eyes. "You don't show me the future, you only show me what I want to see! He's not going to come to my rescue! Not after everything I said to him." Twilight then plopped down on the floor. She then curled up into a ball and sob quietly before she was interrupted growling. She looked up to see five glowing yellow eyes. She got up and ran screaming as loud as she can. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
     "Twilight!?" Sol ran back to the forest flapping his wings.
{Sol! Wait! You hate her, remember!} Sol drowned out Solar's voice.
"TWILIGHT! HOLD ON! I'M COMING!" Twilight was running as fast as she can and looked back to see if they were still chasing her. Then she slammed into a cliff side. Sol ran faster and faster. He saw something in the corner of his eye and grabbed it with his mouth. [A short-sword?! This'll come in handy.] Sol saw a cliff and stopped at the edgelf it. He looked down it to see Twilight being surrounded by Timber Wolves. Without thinking Sol jumped and slid down the cliff side, landing in front of her.
"Sol?! You came back!"
"Why wouldn't I? I may be mean, but I'm not evil." Sol then snaps his knees forward, took the sword out of his mouth, and grabbed it with his hoof. "Bring it!" The wolves all attacked at once. Sol side kick the wolf in front of him and dodged the two side wolves slamming into each other. He flipped the knife from forward to back and stabbed one of the corner wolves in the head, killing it. One of the side wolves put itself back together and tried to attack Sol. He turned and grabbed the wolf by its top and bottom jaw. He then ripped the wolf's top jaw off and threw it on the ground to stomp on it. Sol then was attacked by the leader of there pack which was the first one that tried to attack him. The Alpha bit into Sol's arm and flung him into a nearby tree, breaking Sol's wing and arm. Sol was then headbutted by another wolf. Slamming him into the tree. The wolf then ran at Sol slamming through the tree, breaking one of his legs and his rib. Sol got up and limped over to the wolf and tried to throw a punch. But a another wolf slammed him in the back of the head. Which flung him in Twilight's direction and landing in front of her.
"Sol?" She said trying to fight back the tears.
"I'm fine!" Sol tried to fight the pain and stand up.
"Sol, please. Its over."
"Its never over!"
"Sol! There is no hope of you winning!" Twilight walks over to Sol and takes hold of him. "Please don't kill yourself." She sniffs. "I don't want to see ponies I care about, die in front of me."
He sighs. "Ok... I'm staying here, by your side."
     As the wolves got closer and closer. Sol and Twilight squeezed harder and harder waiting for there impending doom. The wolves were ready to pounce. Sol opens his eyes, but they were white. As the wolves jump at them, Sol released a blast of magic that pushes the wolves back a few feet. When Twilight opened her eyes, she saw Sol had glowing white eyes and was illuminating a white aura around his body. She also notice that he had a horn. Sol then floated a few feet from the ground and held out his arm. A glowing ball of white light started to form at the end of his hoof. The wolves recovered and the Alpha stepped forward. Then Sol's hoof released a giant beam of white energy, right at the wolves. It hit, but Twilight couldn't see the wolves anymore. Sol stops, but there was nothing left of the wolves, but a giant clearing that leads out of the forest. Sol then passes out and fell. But Twilight caught him. The white aura was gone, but the horn remained. Sol was wounded more than she thought. So Twilight put Sol on her back and ran as fast as she can out the passageway. "Hold on, Sol! I'll get you some help!"
     Sol woke up with blurry vision and looked at his body. "Sssssss. Again. How in Tartarus does the same thing happen to the same colt three times." Sol's vision cleared and he looked around the room.  "Wait!? Is this my room?" He looked at the nightstand beside him. He saw a framed picture of him and Derpy in front of Ponyville's Town hall. "Yep. This is definitely my room." Sol lifted his hoof and put it on his head. "Uh! What happened to... Wait!? Is that what I think it is." Sol kept feeling the thing on his head. "It is! Its a horn! I'm an alicorn! Yyyyyeeuuuuuhhhh! Don't celebrate to early Sol. Your still healing." The doors of his room flew open and the sun shined into his eyes.
"Hello dear patience of mine." It sounded like a little filly. It closed the doors to reveal its face.
"Twilight?! What are you doing here?! Where's the Doctor!?"
"I am the Doctor."
"What?! Mmmmgh!"
"Sol, you know you shouldn't move so much. Your still healing."
"Why here?"
"Huh?"
"Why'd you take me here instead of a hospital?"
"This was the only place that wasn't closed."
"How did my mom take it?"
"She took it pretty well, for a pony who almost lost their son." Twilight walked over to Sol and put her hoof on his arm.
"What are you doing?"
"Unwrapping your bandages, so I can clean your wounds."
"How long was I out."
"Two days."
"Did you did all this yourself?"
"No, Cadence and my brother helped with the blood and chemicals. I bandaged you up."
"Why didn't my mom help?" Twilight got up and walked over to Sol's other arm.
"Because she didn't want to see you in that condition."
"Oh."
Twilight looked at the picture on the nightstand beside her. "Who's the mare in the picture?"
"Derpy. Her name is Derpy. She and I used to be together, until she moved."
"Sol, I'm sorry about bringing her up."
"Its fine there was no way you could've known about it."
"Sol, is it ok if I..? Twilight started to blush. Sol looked down at his blanket. Then Sol started to turn red.
"Umm... I ... Um... Yes?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, you have to clean to wounds."
"Ok?" Twilight looked away and then lifted up the blanket. "Ok, tell me when I get too close to it?"
"Why didn't you give me something to cover up my privates?"
"Sol can we please stop talking about it?"
"Sorry."
"Ok and done. Now lets just grab your blank and..."
"Twilight? That's not the blanket."
"I know."
"Then let go and grab the blanket!"
"Sorry about that Sol." Twilight grabbed the blanket and cover Sol from the waist down. "Ok lets clean you up."
"What are you cleaning me with?"
"Rubbing Alcohol! Now hold still."
"B#%@ me!"
     3 hours later, "Ok Sol, I fed you, bathed you, dressed you, and put you to bed. I think I'm done here."
"Twilight?"
"Hmm?"
"Could you stay here for the night?"
"Where am I going to sl... Oh, right." Twilight walked over to Sol and got in his bed. "Don't you do anything."
"I'm not." Sol scooted closer to her and put his arm around her.
"Sol?"
"Yeah?"
"What are you doing?"
"I need to hold somepony."
"Why?"
"Because, I'm afraid that the darkness will take me."
"The dark can't even touch you."
"Not the dark, the darkness that takes control of me when I fight like I did. I'm afraid of it taking me over and hurting somepony I love."
Twilight hugged Sol. "The darkness won't get you as long as I'm here."
"Thank you, Twilight for everything." Then Sol and Twilight laid down and cuddled with each other.
"You can't hold it back forever, Sol. Well I guess I have to wait until he loses the battle against himself. But for now, goodnight my angel of darkness." Said a mysterious mare's voice.

Ch.5 The Everfree pt.1 The Lost
     Twilight is walking down a hall in Celestia's castle. She delivering a letter over to Celestia. When all of a sudden a black blur zooms past her. "Sol! What did your mom say about skating in the castle?!" Sol stops to look at her.
"She said that if I don't stop I'm going to eventually crash into somepony."
"Sol look. I know its the only thing you have left of her, but your going to hurt somepony and yourself."
"But I'm afraid if I stop riding I'll forget about her." Sol looks at his skateboard. "Just like you have Cadence, I had Silver Shine. My mom would always go on trips and have meetings. So that's why Silver Shine was there, she took care of me while my mom was away. She gave this to me as a late birthday gift and it was on the same day I met you."
"Sol listen, we all miss her but its been three years since her death. You gotta move on." Twilight places a hoof on Sol's shoulder. "Sol I want you to come to the library with me, I need to show you something." Sol followed Twilight to the library.
     Sol came up the last steps breathing heavily. "I should have teleported. Why is there so many steps?"
"Sol come on in." Sol trudges through the doors and follows Twilight to her desk.
"You brought me all way up here to read books!"
"No. I brought you up her because I want to give you something. Me, Cadence, and Celestia all made this for you. I was going to give you this as a birthday present, but I decided you need this now more than ever. So, here."
Sol looks at his gift. "Is this a photo album?" Sol opens the photo album. "Is that me?"
"Yep! This photo album has all your pictures throughout the years and you can add more if you want? So what do you think?"
Sol set the photo album down on Twilight's desk and walked over and hugged Twilight. Sol says with a sniff. "I love it, thank you Twilight."
"Your welcome."
"Hey, Twilight do want to hang out sometime?" He says while rubbing his eyes.
"How about now?"
"Yeah that sounds good, let's go have some fun! By the way I'm leaving it here for know." Sol then ran out the door.
"There's the Sol I know and love." She mutters.
"Twi you coming!"
"Just a second!"
Twilight then walks out the doors and Sol grabs her and flew away.
     Sol was flying while holding on to Twilight in the bright blue sky. "Hey, Twilight?"
"Yeah?"
"Think we can go to FryBales?"
"We always can go to FryBales!"
"Hey, Twi! Look at that!" Sol stopped and pointed at the bright firey flock of birds.
"Wow! A Gathering of Phoenixes. Its beautiful." Sol then hears slow flapping.
"Did you hear that?" Twilight turns to look at Sol.
Twilight turns pale at what she saw. "Dr-Dr-Dr-Dr-Dr-Dr-Dr-Dr-Dr...."
"Twilight spit it out!"
"...Dr-Dr-DRAGON!" Sol turns to see the problem, he saw a giant black dragon with dark purple eyes.
"Hey Twi?"
"Yeah?"
"How good is your grib?"
"Average."
"Good because RRUUUUUUNNNNN!" Sol uses the  Sonic-Shadowboom and took of like a bullet. But the dragon was catching up and fast.
Sol then starts to dive. "Sol what are doing?!"
"I need you to hold your breath!"
"What?!"
"Now!"
Twilight held her breath while Sol flew low too the ground and dropped Twilight in a pond. The dragon went over the pond missing her completely. She breaches the water coughing and gasping for air. Twilight watched as the dragon follows Sol. "Please make it back."
     Sol flew between the treeline, but the dragon just smashed right through it. "Why does it want me?!" He then flew through a tunnel, but the dragon got stuck in it. Sol flew back around to see what happened and tries hard not to laugh at what he saw. The dragon then busts through the top of the tunnel and looks at laughing Sol with a face of anger. "I'm out!" He said before Shadowbooming away. The dragon follow him. Sol looks back and the dragon was getting closer and closer. "That's odd. I should be able to out run scale face. My wings are getting—" Before he could say anything else, Sol was slapped across the land.
     Sol was just waking up and saw a wolf in his face. "Get off me!" Sol got up and tried to flap his wings. "Ahh! My wing." He looks at it to see what the problem and there was a few sticks lodge through his wing. He turns to face the wolf. "What are you looking at?!" The wolf just stared at him with his tongue out. "Look at me talking to a mindless animal!" Sol walks in a direction and the wolf follows him. "Hey stop following! Go home!" Sol kept walking forwards. He sighs and looks at the wolf. "Your going to follow me, no matter what I say aren't you?" The wolf just stares at him. "Well if you going to follow me your going to need a name. How...about...Umbra?" The wolf lick his face. "Umbra it is! Come on, Umbra!"
     Back in Canterlot, Twilight is running through the castle. "Gotta find The Princess!" She ran through the hall and through the giant door. Celestia was Sipping her normal morning tea. Until the doors flew open. "Princess! Princess!"
"Ah, Twilight. So nice of you to visit me. Now what seems to be the problem?"
"Ok! There was this black dragon and it chased me and Sol. Until Sol dropped me into a pond and the dragon kept chasing him! But I don't know where he is know?!"
"What color were the dragon's eyes?"
"Dark purple, but why does that matter?!"
"Its a Shadow being." Celestia's horn then glowed and a beam of light came from it. It then started to create holographic projection of these "Shadow Beings". "You see Twilight, Shadow Beings are creatures who are created when evil is brought into the world. Depending on the evil's species and power they become something that will hunt them and destroy them. Its soul purpose is to kill the evil and every living thing that gets in its way. But for Alicorns its usually another Alicorn. A dragon doesn't make sense."
"Maybe the dragon has the wrong pony?"
"Shadow Beings never make a mistake. It has special powers that allow it to hide in shadows and the eyes allow it to see the evil its after and other Shadow Beings. That means Sol has an evil inside of him that he has locked away and won't allow it to surface. Does he have any kind of strange fears?"
"He does have a fear of the darkness that tries to consume him."
"That's what its after!" Twilight sighs and looks out onto the the land through a window. "I just hope he's ok."
"He's going to be fine. Usually when this happens their is always a Guardian to protect the good that imprisons the evil and it always tries its best. But it always fails to save them."
     Somewhere in the Everfree Forest Sol is walking while Umbra is follows him. Until he came across a stream. "Oh good water!" Umbra then pulls on his tail. "Ow! What?!" Sol said in anger. Umbra grabs a rock with its mouth and throws it at the stream. When the rock hit the water, a giant alligator made out of water devoirs the rock. "Wow! An H2gat0! Never seen that before. Those are rare!" Sol looks in awe at the H2gat0. "So, is there a way around it?" Sol saw a thursty deer walk over to the water to take a sip. Sol got into a running position and waits. "Umbra, when I start running, you do too!" Sol watches as the deer took a sip from the stream. Then he saw the gator creep up on the deer and lounges at it. Sol and Umbra sprints towards the stream and ran right past the gator. When they made it to the other side, Sol looks back and to see the gator drowning the deer in its jaws. Sol and Umbra walked through the treeline and disappear. Sol looks up at the sky and saw the moon. "Its getting dark. Do you know a good place for us to sleep?" Umbra sniffs around and points at a old building with his nose. "Is that an old research facility? What's this doing here?" Sol walks closer to it and read the sign on the building. "E.S.D? Equestrian Search and Discover. I know this company. It a company that searches for anything that hasn't been discovered yet." Sol opens the door and walks inside. He flips a light switch and the lights came on with a buzzing sound. Sol looks to his left to find a pile of bodies in the corner. Disgusted, he walks over to the filing cabinet and searches through it. "Here we go!" Sol lifts up a folder that said "Workers". "The ponies who used to work here are Geo, Keeps, and Atom. They were working on a something called "Experiment 381 aka Lycian Pony. They were trying to crate a super solider but it failed, because 10 test subjects were killed by subject #3, a colt named Invent. This is what probably happened to those scientists."
     Sol looks up from the folder and to see a door with a window to his left. He walks over to it and looks through the widow. He can see a foal size wolf feeding off the corpses of ponies. Sol watches in horror as the wolf tore flesh from bones. Sol looks behind him to see if Umbra was still there. When he turns back, he was face to face with the wolf. Sol jumps back in terror and watches as the wolf starts to bust through the door. Sol made a run for the front entrance but was stopped by a pack of gray wolves. Sol backs up into the middle of the room. Umbra ran at one of the wolves and bite its leg. The wolf grabs Umbra on the back and lifts him. Sol watches in horror as the wolf tore Umbra limb from limb. Devouring him like he was prey. Sol backs up into the door that was holding the wolf. The wolves crept up on him. When a chain with a blade on the end came through the door and stabs the middle wolf in the head. Sol scoots over and the door came off its hinges, hitting three of the wolves in the process. Then a unicorn foal steps out of the chamber of bodies on his hind legs with a wrench in his hoof. The colt was light gray with a gray mane and tail. His mane style was a mess same with his tail. His ears were damaged with a V shaped cut. His was wearing blue glasses over its green eyes. His muzzle was just like Sol's. The colt took off his glasses and sets them on the ground next to him. Then snaps his knees forwards. The wolves looks at him with anger and charged at him. He then uses his wrench to smack the first wolf in the face. Then the top part of the wrench started to change into a blade. The blade didn't change with magic, it changed with steam punk tech. A chain pops out of the wrench and it was connected to the blade. It was a whip. He used it to wrap around one of the wolves's neck. He then pulls back tearing off the head of the wolf. He then slashes another wolf on the head and slits the throat of another wolf behind him. The chain then went back into the wrench but the blade remained. He then walks over to the injured wolf and was about to stab it. Sol then hears a third heartbeat and yelled. "STOP!" The colt then looks at the black alicorn colt in the corner of the room. "She's pregnant!" The foal then put his ear up to the wolf and heard two heart beats. "Please. Let her live."
     The foal got angry and tries to stab the wolf again. But Sol threw a bone at him. "I said "Let her live!" The foal then dashes at Sol and pins him against the wall with his fore arm. The foal looks into Sol's eyes. Sol then snaps his knees forwards and punches the foal in the face forcing it to let him go. The foal was getting up when Sol drop-kicks him across the table. The foal then uses his whip on Sol. Sol dodges the whip and grabs it. He then wraps it around his hoof and pulls back, slamming him through the wall. Sol then saw a case labeled "Experiment 258 aka Night's Edge". Sol walked over, opens the case, and pulls out a purple sword that had a bat-like hilt and a slim hole above it. The whip then came back hitting Sol right in the wing and hitting the light switch which shut off the lights. The whip then retracted and Sol went to go find cover. Sol hid behind a few boxes. He looked back to see if he was still there. He then saw the wolf and came out of hiding. He walked over to the wolf and he dragged her over to his hiding place. Sol leans against the boxes and the wolf rested her head on Sol's lap. Sol notice a fresh bite mark on her leg and Sol knew which wolf this was. Sol then put his hoof on her head and fell asleep.
     "How can he forgive that wolf!? It literally tore his puppy limb from limb! Where's the anger!?  Where's the vengeance!? Said the mysterious voice. It sighed. "How strong can he be just to forgive something that did such a vile deed? How? How can he be so calm with this? I don't know how he can do that? But I do know that one day he'll snap and I'll be waiting for that day! MUUUUUUUUHAHAHAHAHAH!
     The next morning, Celestia woke up with her face on her desk. She lifts her head and looks down at flier that read. "Have you seen me?" Below that is a picture of Sol and it says. "Name: Sol Eclipse Age:10." Celestia looked at this and sheds a tear before breaking down. Twilight walked in and saw this. She walked over to Celestia and tapped her leg. Celestia looks up from the tear soaked paper and looks over to Twilight. Twilight than hugged her and cried into her leg. Celestia scooted away the filly and got up from her desk. She then lays down to hug Twilight and she did the same. Celestia had to calm the filly down. "Shhhhhhh. Its ok. Our little angel of darkness will come back to us, soon." She said in a soothing voice.
"Please make him come back! *hic* Please!" Celestia closed her eyes and continued to hug Twilight.

Ch.5 The Everfree pt.2 The Discoveries
     Sol awoken from a much needed sleep. He got up and looked around. Searching for something, but found nothing. The only thing he saw was a little black wolf, that he had his arm wrapped around and it held close to him. Sol smiled at the sleeping wolf and carefully slipped his hoof out of the wolf's grasp. He walked over to the window and stared at the golden sky. "It's a beautiful morning. Perfect for hunting." He said as he walked back over to the wolf. Sol then taps the wolf with hoof. The wolf opened it's eyes and growl at him. "Oh come on, Nightshade! Get your lazy flank up! We have to go check the traps and see if we caught a bunny or something." The wolf looked at him with a(n) annoyed face and let out a big yawn, before getting up. Sol looked at the wolf's blue left eye and red right eye. Sol and Nightshade then started to head out the door.
     Sol and Nightshade stumbled upon a rabbit hanging from a rope by it's hind leg. Blood was running down it's head and dripping from it's ears in to a pool of blood below it. "That's a big one. See! I told you my trap will work!" Sol walked over to the blood soaked bunny and cuts it down. It fell in the pool of blood and splashed some blood on Sol's hind legs. Nightshade walked over and picked up the bunny by the neck. He then places it in Sol's saddle bag. "Let's go check the other traps." As they walked, Sol thought to himself. [Every time I look at Nightshade I can't help being reminded of my mom. To think this wolf was a puppy when his mother gave birth to him and that was just three weeks ago. Sadly, he was the only one to survive his birth. The rest of them died and because of that colt. Even the mother couldn't hold out anymore and gave up. I took care of him ever since then.]
     Sol and Nightshade came back to the facility and went inside. Sol flipped the switch, which ignited the campfire in the middle of the room. "And you thought taking the wire out of the light and using it to create a fire was a bad idea." The wolf growled at him. Sol walked over to the fire and took out a skinned rabbit. Sol then jabbed a stake through it before placing it over the fire. Sol grabbed the crank and turned it. Sol let's go of the crank and turns to the black wolf. "Nightshade, could you grab a couple of plates for us to eat on?" Nightshade snarled at him. Sol sighed while slamming his hoof in his face. "Please." Sol groaned. Nightshade walked over to the stack of plates and grabbed a plate from the top. He then heads over to Sol and sets the plate in front of the black colt, before bowing. "Where's yours, my humble servant?" Sol said with a smirk. Nightshade looked up at him and growled. Sol laughed, before tossing him a raw skinned rabbit. Sol watched as the black wolf pounces on the rabbit and devours it.
     Princess Celestia is in her room, crying silently in her pillow while thinking to herself. A guard opened the door. Celestia lifted her head to looked at him. The guard took off his helmet and held it on his chest. "Your Majesty, its been a month and a half since Sol disappeared. We've stopped searching for him and we assume the worst has happened. I'm sorry for your lost."
     Celestia sits up and cried even harder than before. "Don't you dare say that ever again." She said with a hint of anger in her voice. "He's still alive! I know it! He's out there somewhere, crying his eyes out and yelling for help." She yelled. "He has to be." She whimpered before collapsing on to her legs. "Could you give me some time to myself."
     "Yes, your Highness." He said before walking out the door and closing it.
     Celestia got up and walked over to her dresser. She levitates a framed picture up to her face. Its a picture of her and Sol standing in front of the castle. She takes the photo out of the frame and folds it. She then takes out the gem from her amulet and places the photo in the empty space before placing the gem back. Then she puts her hoof on the gem. "Its ok Sol, you'll always be close to my heart."
     Nightshade looks up from his meal and sniffs the air. He runs to the open window and growls at it. "What's wrong? Is the food that bad?" Sol said sarcastically. Sol sets his plate down and walks over to the window. He saw four pairs of glowing purple eyes. "Oh. That's the problem, isn't?" Sol started to mumble under his breath. "What are they waiting for? Maybe we're not their targets? Or are they waiting for the right time to attack? Or are they waiting for us to make a move first?" Sol backed away from the window and walked towards a box that read "Experiment #37 a.k.a The Folding Crossbow". He took out the cross bow and unfolded it. He then took a quiver filled with crossbow bolts and straps it to his back. He then puts a 8x scope on the attachment railing. Sol walks back to the window and points the crossbow out of it. He pulls a crossbow bolt out of the quiver and places it on the top of the crossbow, while pulling back on it, priming the weapon. He holds the front, while he slides his hoof between the hoof guard and the trigger. Sol looks down the scope and zooms in to see the threat more clearly. Sol knows he can't see their faces, but he aims for the middle right one, the glowing purple eyes. Before Sol could get his hoof around the trigger, the eyes disappeared. Signaling that they ran off. Sol takes his head from the scope and folded up his crossbow. He than throws it over his back and just kept staring in the direction where the creatures were.
     Sol looks in a box labeled "Unknown creatures that have been found". He kept searching the files, but something caught his eye. It was a file the read "Timber wolves". Sol grabbed this file and walked over to a spot on the floor and started to read out loud. "Timber wolves also called " The wolves of the Everfree trees". These creatures are strange, they don't need blood or food to live. We hypothesise that these creatures work the same way plants work. We were right. The wolves need sunlight and water to live. We've found out that the won't go near fire. We've also found that they don't have a reproductive organs, but there's so many of them. So we thought that there was something creating them. We've notice that every time we in counter one there's always that same glow in there eyes. We found out that there was a tree that would produce magic and create the wolves with it's own limbs. When the tree dies, it becomes a Timber wolf itself, but bigger and stronger then the others, so we think it's an alpha. It will then choose it's mate, which it odd. But we found out that when the tree dies the wolves began growing reproductive organs and females are now able to carry a child. Timber wolves are very fascinating creatures." Sol got up and walked back over to the box. He places the file next to it. He than grabs the box with his mouth and drags it over to the place where he was sitting.
     Sol took another look in the box and picked a file at random. He looked at the file he chose and it said "Shadow beings". Sol opens the file and read out loud again. "Shadow beings also called Hunters of the Shadows. These creatures are dangerous. They hunt the evil of the earth and destroy it along with everything in it's path. These creatures come in all shapes and sizes, but always have the same features. Black body with purple eyes. It depending on what evil it hunts, it turns in to something to hunt it. It doesn't confuse it's prey and knows which prey it was chosen to hunt. Sometimes there'll be a creature with evil locked away and because of that, a creature called a Guardian will protect it. But it is never successful. Its extremely rare for the prey to kill the Shadow being it's being hunted by. The Shadow being is stronger than it's prey and dies after it kills it's prey. That's all we know. If your a pony with evil inside you, I just have to say  good luck." Sol thinks about this for a minute. [Black body and purple eyes. Is that why that dragon went after me? But, I'm not evil. Unless.....  I'm too tired to think right now.] Sol puts the file down and walks over to Nightshade. He lied down next to the sleeping wolf and blacks out.
     Sol awakens and stands up to stretch. He looks over to his side and sees that Nightshade is sitting in the corner. "Nightshade what's wrong?" The black wolf then looks at Sol and then turns back to the corner. Sol walks over to him to see what's he staring at. When Sol got over there, he remembers the spot they were standing in. This is the spot where Nightshade was born and were his family died. "Do you miss her?" The wolf shook his head. "Is it something about last night?" Nightshade nodded. "Was it the food?" The wolf shook his head. "The files?" The wolf shook his head once again. "The pack of wolves in the trees?" Nightshade nods. Sol thinks for a second. "Is it because you feel lonely and want to be with your kind?" Nightshade nods. "Oh. So that's the reason." Sol said sadly. He then smiles. "Come on! Let's go find your home!" The wolf gave Sol a confused look. "I want you to be happy, its ok I can take care of my self." Sol got up and walked over to the crossbow and quiver. He puts on the quiver and then grabs a strap for the crossbow. "Just in case." Sol said while swing the crossbow on to his back. Sol started to walk towards the door. "Aren't you coming?" The wolf follows Sol out the door and begin their new adventure.
     A few hours after they left they ran into a few packs of wolves. "Man those last ones were a####les! I think its time to call it a day." Sol suddenly stop in his tracks. Nightshade looked at him but kept walking then he ran into something fury. Nightshade took a looked at the thing he bumped into. It was another wolf and a female one at that. Nightshade looked at the light grey wolf in her blue eyes. She then started to sniff him and opened her mouth.
"Oh! I'm sorry." She said with an apologetic smile
"W-Wha............" Sol said.
"I'm Gayle and you are?" She said
"That's amazing! How can you speak like that?!" Sol said.
"Its because all wolves from our pack need to drink from "The Pond of Voices" and that's how I'm able to speak." She explained
"My names Sol Eclipse!" Sol said. "Do you have any of that water?"
"Why yes, I do." She said as she pulled a flask from her bag. She then opens it and puts it in the frozen black wolf's mouth. Nightshade swallows the water and clicks his tounge a few time.
"That stuff taste like s##t!" He said.
"That's amazing!" Sol said
"I'm actually not suppose to give it to wolves outside of the pack." She said as she puts the flask back in her bag. And continues. "Now what's your name?"
"Uuuuhhhhh.....Nightshade." He said.
"That's an odd name for a wolf. Why did your mother give you that name?"
     Nightshade looks down then looks back up trying to hold back the tears. "She didn't give me that name, she died when I was born."
"Oh. I'm sorry for bringing up bad memories."
"Its ok. I'm f—" Before Nightshade could finish he was interrupted by a strong sounding voice. He looked up to see a grey male wolf bigger than him.
"Gayle what did I tell you about interacting with wolves outside of the pack?!" Said the unknown wolf.
"Is that anyway to talk to your future wife, Richard?" She said.
"You're coming back home!" He said as he grabbed her tail with his mouth and pulled back.
"Ow! Stop that!" She yelped.
"You're coming with me!" He said as he pulled harder and harder.
"Your hurting me!" She started to shed tears as she says this.
"You stubborn bi—" He was interrupted when Nightshade headbutted him. Flinging him a few feet. "Hey! Whats the big idea, you mot######ker!"
     Nightshade didn't pay any attention to him and turns to look at Gayle. "Are you ok?"
"Why'd you do that?" She said.
"Because it looked like you needed my help." He said.
"You're going to pay for this!" Said Richard while holding his head.
"And what are you going to do about it?!"
"Nothing for now. Gayle come on were going home!"
"She's not going anywhere!"
"Are you challenging me!?"
"I guest I am!"
"Fine! Where do you want to fight?!"
"In front of the whole pack!"
"So what are you wagering?"
"Her!"
"Please! Wager something that you can't replace and something that's worth you fighting for.
"You heartless, bastard!"
"I've got an idea! How about the winner becomes the alpha and the loser is killed!?"
"Fine by me!"
"See you at the fight!" And then he left in the opposite direction.
     "Hey are you ok?" Nightshade said.
"Nothing to bad. But why did you do that?" Gayle said.
"Because he needs to be put in his place."
"You didn't have to do that."
"Of course I did." He says with a smile.
She smiles back. "You're too protective."
"Why did you marry that guy?"
"I was forced into it. An alpha is suppose to have a mate to carry on the legacy."
"Wait! He an alpha!"
"Yes. What's wrong?"
"I'm gonna die!"
"You're going to be fine."
"What makes think so?"
     Gayle walked closer to him then licked his cheek and whispered in his ear. "Because you have someone worth the fight."
Nightshade looked at her and blushes. "A-Are you sure you'd want someone like me?" She nods. "Sol what do you think?"
"What do you think?" Sol said.
"Ok then let's do it then."
"Follow me." Gayle said.
     They arrive at a crowd of wolves. The wolves stepped aside to make a path to the middle. They walked down the path leading to a ring of stones. They then saw a grey wolf standing on the other side of the ring of stones. "Are you sure I can't back out?"
"Yes. If you back out, you lose." Gayle whispered.
     Nightshade stepped into the ring. "Good luck, sweetie."
"Good luck, Nightshade." Sol said with a smile.
     The black wolf walked to the middle of the ring. "Took you long enough!" He said.
Nightshade said nothing.
"Ok, don't talk! It'll be much easier to take you out!"
     Richard runs at him and pounces with his mouth open and one paw ready to attack. Nightshade jumps out of the way, letting the grey wolf slam in to the ground. He got up and ran at him. Nightshade stood there. The wolf jumps at him again. But Nightshade jumps at the wolf, grabbing him by the neck. Tackling him to the ground. But the black wolf and wouldn't let go. Richard tried hitting the wolf. But it only made him bite harder. Nightshade can taste the blood of the wolf and feels his scratches getting weaker. He knew that it was time to end it. He pulled his head to the side as quickly as he could. He then heard a snapping sound from his neck and dropped him. He watches as the gray wolf's lifeless body hit the ground. He looks up to see Gayle running at him. When she got to him she put her head close to his. She then began rubbing her head against his. When she pulls away, Nightshade licked her cheek. "I love you, Gayle."
"I love you, too!" She said.
"Will you marry me?"
"Yes!"
Sol thought to himself. {Holy####! That was fast!} He then notice that Nightshade was standing over him.
"Well I guess this is goodbye. Thanks for everything you've done, Sol. You can stay if you like?"
"No thanks. I can handle it myself. Goodbye, Nightshade."
"Goodbye, Sol." Sol gives Nightshade a quick hug before left.
"You never told me about him. What is he?" Gayle said.
"All you need to know is that he's an angel of darkness." Said Nightshade with a smile.

     Sol wakes up on a hard concrete floor. He looks to his left and notices the box with the files on the Everfree creatures and his crossbow. He looks to his right and notices a purple colored unicorn filly with a straight purple mane and tail, hanging off of him. Sol was breathless for a bit, before he could say something. "Tw-Twilight?" Sol starts to think to himself. [What is she doing here!? She's suppose to be in Canterlot! Why is she here!? And why is she like this? How did she find me!?] Sol tries to wiggle out of Twilight's grip but it only got tighter. [Shit! Shit! Why does stuff like this happen to me? I have to wake her up.] "Twilight. Twilight! Wake up!" Twilight opens her eyes and hers met up with Sol's, but he was on top of her.
"S-S-Sol!? What are you doing?!" She said. Twilight turned rosey when Sol's face got closer to hers.
"I could ask you the same question." He said.
"Um, well.... Because..... I ... ran ....away."
"Wait! What!?" Sol was shocked by what she said.
"I came to find you! I knew you were somewhere in the Everfree forest."
"Twilight did you tell anypony where you were going?"
Twilight shakes her head. "No."
"You stupid filly!"
"Hey! Don't call me stupid!"
"You shouldn't have done that!"
"Why not!?"
"Because the Everfree forest is no place for a little filly!"
"You sound like my dad!"
"And being around me, puts you in danger!" Sol started to shiver and cry. "I don't want to put the ponies I love in danger." Sol collapses on to Twilight's chest. "I don't want ponies to die because of......because of me."
"Sol... Nopony got hurt."
"Not yet."
"Sol, its ok. We'll find out to defeat the Shadow being."
"It's not that. It's the evil that lives inside of me. I'm able to drown out his voice, but how long can I keep it up? That........thing is more powerful than my mother. And one day it will take control of my body and kill everypony in it's path."
"Sol." Twilight wraps her arms around Sol and held his head close to her chest.
It was a few minutes of silence, until Sol broke it. "Twilight?"
"Yes?"
"Do you want something to drink?"
"Sure."
Sol gets up and walks over to the open freezer door and grabs a pitcher of some sort of liquid next to it. He walks back over to Twilight while grabbing a cup along the way. Sol sits down and pours a glass of the liquid and hands over to Twilight. "Here." Twilight looks at the glass of liquid with a confused look. "Its ok. It's tea. I made it myself out of the plants in the forest. I call it Everfree tea!" Twilight took a sip of it.
"It's good."
"It is!"
Twilight nods. She then went for another sip.
     Sol walks over to the window to look at the golden sunrise over the trees. Twilight looks left of her and notice a box. Twilight then looks back at the black colt. She notice the gleaming golden light from the sun around the colt. As she stares at him everything seems to slow down around her and she thought to herself. {He's.....so......cute.} She blushes as she thought about this. {I wish I could be in his arms. I've been with Sol for three years now. He's only a year older then me. So it shouldn't be that bad. But he's a prince, there's no way I'm able to be with him. Stupid royalty. But three months.......and he's looks perfectly fine. He looks fine alright. NO! Bad Twilight! I guess that training they gave him, must have equipped him with this type of situation.}
"Hey, Twilight!?"
"Hmm? What?"
Sol walks back over to her and sat down. "How are things going in Canterlot?"
"Well everypony is sad that your dead. I mean gone! We gave up searching a month ago and we're planing a funeral for you. That's why I ran away. I knew you were still alive, I just had to look harder. {Ok Twilight this is your chance to kiss him! Your all alone with him in a room. But first you need to tell him something important.} "Sol?"
"Ya?"
"I-I-I........l-l-l-lo—" she was interrupted by Sol shoving his hoof in her mouth.
"Shh! Do you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Flapping."
"Flapping?"
"But that could only mean.... Shit! It found me!!!"
Sol straps on his crossbow and quiver. He then grabs Twilight's hoof and ran out the door. He looks back and saw a giant black dragon with purple eyes and under belly.
     Sol and Twilight were running through the forest. "Do you know where your going?!"
"Ya! Far away from here as possible!"
"Can't you use magic or fly?!"
"No! My wings are still broken and I don't know any attack spells! So, the best we can do is run!"
"Hey! Isn't that light?!"
"Yes, it is!"
Twilight and Sol left the Everfree forest and kept running.
"It feels so great to be out of there! But it would be better if a bucking dragon wasn't chasing us!"
They stumble upon some train tracks leading to an underground tunnel. Sol then heard a train whistle and looks in the tunnel. Twilight saw Sol's left ear twitch and Sol turns his head. "Look a train!" Sol grabs out his crossbow and a bolt with a rope attached. He then aims it at the train.
"Sol what are you doing?!"
"Twilight do you trust me?!"
"Yes. Of course.
"Ok." Sol stood up on his hind legs and snaps his knees forward. He then grabs Twilight by the waist and waits for the train to past. When it did, Sol shot the bolt at caboose and grabs the rope. Twilight lets out a yelp as her and Sol were being dragged by the train. Hoof by hoof Sol starts to climb the rope and make it to the train. When they made it to hard ground, Sol grabs the bolt and they both went inside. When they got inside, they close the door and put there backs against it then let out a big sigh of relief while slowly sitting down. Until they heard a voice that Sol knows.
"Sol is that you?"
Sol looks up to see six fillies. "Bon Bon? Colgate? Cheerile? Rarity? Rainbow Dash? Fluttershy? What are you guys doing here?!"
"Were here on a field trip for your funeral!" Rainbow says with an angry expression on her face.
"You know how much grieving we did over you!" Colgate says angrily.
"Grieving isn't a correct word for that sentence." Twilight said.
"And why in Tartarus is she with you!" Cheerile said.
"Bon bon are you mad at me, too?" Sol says.
Bon bon walks over to him and looks him straight in his eyes. Than took himhim in her embrace. "I missed you. I kept hoping that you were still alive. But when they said that you were dead, I still knew deep down in my heat that you were still alive. And why did you guys yell at him we haven't seen him in three months and thought he was dead."
"She's right. What kind of friends are we?" Rarity say while walking over and gave Sol a hug. "I'm sorry. I just got angry when I saw you."
"We're sorry." They all said and went over to hug Sol.
"Its good to see you again, Sol." Said a mysterious voice.
Sol looks up to see where the voice came from. But what he saw was to his surprise.
"Derpy!?"
She walks over to Sol and the girls stepped out of the way. She stood in front of him and looks him in the eyes.
"You should have told me you became an alicorn." She said.
"I've missed you."
"You have?"
"Yes. But what about you moving?" Sol said with agitation.
Derpy looks down and began to cry. "It burned down. My moms ex-husband came to visit her and said tht he wanted to foalsit me. But he  burned the house down with me inside, but a colt saved me. I told him if we could go out but he said I don't go out with retards and left."
Sol lifts Derpy's head up by her chin and said. "I love you, Derpy." Then he meet his lips with hers.
"Sol? I missed you. Will be my coltfriend, again?"
"Yes." He than hugs her.
     But the mood was cut short when they heard screaming coming from one of the carts on the train. Sol ran to a nearby window to look out it. He then sees the dragon. "Twilight! It caught up with us!"
"What did?!" Rarity said.
"A dragon! Derpy do you think you can carry me and Twilight."
"Yes, I can!"
"Rainbow! Can you carry Bon bon and follow us."
"Yes, sir!" Rainbow said with a salute.
"Rarity, Colgate, Fluttershy, and Cheerile you stay behind and try to get the conductor to stop this train. Then meet us in Canterlot."
"Ok!"
"Sol! What are we doing?" Twilight said.
"We're leading the dragon to Canterlot."
"What?!" Everypony said but Sol and Fluttershy.
"If we take it to Canterlot, then my mom can take care of it."
"But why am I coming?" Bon bon said.
"Because your plan B."
"What?!"
"I'll tell you about it when we get to it. Ok, is everypony ready."
They all nod. "Alright then, lets show tall, dark, and ugly what we're made of!" And like that Derpy grabs Sol and Twilight and flew out the door. Rainbow and Bon bon follows not to far behind them.
     Celestia was standing on a podium in front of a crowd next to a coffin and starts to speak. When a roar startles them. Then Derpy lands on the coffin and drops Sol and Twilight. "Mom we've got a problem!"
"Your alive!" She said.
The dragon lands a few blocks away from them. Destroying a few buildings with it. Celestia opens her wings and flew to face the dragon. When she got there, she creates a beam of light and shoots it at the dragon. The crowd cheers. When the smoke cleared, it uncovered the dragon and the crowd panic. They start to run around and scream like maniacs. The dragon swots Celestia like a fly, driving her into a nearby building. The dragon walks closer to Sol and the others. "Derpy take Bon bon up to that building! Bon bon take this!" Sol hands Bon Bon the crossbow and quiver. Derpy grabs Bon bon and did what Sol told them to do. But when Derpy was about to fly away, the dragon slams her to the ground. Derpy was dizzy for a sec. She then saw a foot coming towards her. She closed her eyes and lifts her arms. When the gray mare realizes she hasn't been crushed, she opens her eyes and saw Sol holding up the foot. "Bon bon! Shoot it! I can't hold out for much longer!" Bon bon took aim and was about to fire, until the dragon's tail slashes through the building and she fell. But luckily Rainbow was there to catch her, but she drops the crossbow. "Is this how it ends!" Sol said.
     Twilight ran towards the dragon firing energy shots from her horn. The dragon moves his foot and Sol collapse on his knees, breathing heavly. Sol looks at Twilight. The dragon grabs her and held her close to it's face. Sol watches as the dragon ate her. Sol was furious, he then grabs Derpy and hands her over to Rainbow. "Take her and Bon Bon and get to a safe place!"
"But what about you!?" She said.
"I have something to take care of!"
     Sol watches as Rainbow flew off. He turns around and grabs the crossbow. Sol notice a bolt and rope in the quiver. Sol puts the bolt on the crossbow and pulls back to prim it. He aims at the neck and firedfires. The dragon pulls back pulling Sol towards it. It opens it's mouth and swallows Sol whole.
     Sol slid down the throat and landed in the stomach. "Agh! this is disgusting!"
"Sol?"
"Twilight!"
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to save you!"
"Then how are we going to get out?"
"SHIT!!"
"See. All this for nothing."
"This was not all for nothing. We still have a chance!"
"What chance do we have. All hope is lost."
"No! Only you have lost hope. On the other hoof people out there still have their hope. And so do I!"
Sol walks over to the pile of swords in the corner. Sol picks up a sword that separates into two swords. It looked like a normal sword, but had one alicorn engraved on both blades. It looked like Equestria's flag. Sol found a bow next to it. He than puts the swords back together and uses it as an arrow. The sword starts to glow white when Sol pulls back on the bow. He than aims up in the direction of the heart. Twilight notices a flash of light. She looks at Sol's flank to reveal a solar eclipse cutie mark. Sol lets go of the sword and it shoots straight forward with blast like energy around it. The shot went through the heart killing the dragon. It then starts to disappear into smoke.
     Sol grabbs Twilight and carries her in his arms through the expanding hole in the stomach. Sol looks around to see the damage the dragon caused. Then the sword that Sol had shot, lands in front of him. It disintegrates into glowing spores that went into chest and disappear.
     Sol and the others are standing on a stage in front of a huge crowd. Sol looks to his left and saw Celestia giving out hero medals. She then walks over to him. "Sol Eclipse, Canterlot thanks you for saving their city. I don't have a medal for you."
"What!?"
"But I do have a title for you. Sol Eclipse! I hear by make you a Special Protector." She then walks away.
"Hey Sol! What is a Special Protector?" Bon Bon says.
"Well there are four different kind of Protectors. Protectors are ponies deal common criminals. Royal Protectors are the royal guards. Special Protectors who guard a certain pony. And a Equestrian Protectors is the hardest to get, they protect Equestria from powerful evil. But there hasn't been a Equestrian Protector in 500 years."
"Why not?"
"Because the last one betrayed EquestriaEquestria and was killed by my mom. I forget his name. I'll my mom.."
     "Son of a bitch! How can that dragon lose to a buckng colt! This is going to be harder than I thought. Lets see what I can do. I think I can send a message to a certain queen to start creating a super solider. Soon I will kill him and leave my lunar prison and take over Equestria. But I have to kill the little distraction. The Angel of Darkness is a pain in my flank." Said a mysterious voice.

     Sol is in his bed, wrapped in his blanket and having a pleasant dream. Until the alarm clock went off. Sol groaned as he hits the clock, flinging it across the room. He then snuggles back into his bed with Twilight. Twilight then shakes him to wake him up. "Sol. Sol! Wake up!"
"Come on mom, just a few more minutes." He said
"Sol! Come on! Were going to be late for our first day of highschool!"
Sol groans and mumbles. "Its worse than my mom."
"I heard that!"
"Good! Then you'll know not to wake me up! I can bucking fly!"
"That didn't make any sense."
"I'm tried, cut me some slack!"
"Ok. I'm ready! Sol, would you please?"
"Carry your fat flank to the highschool. I don't know ponies might think I'm carrying a boulder."
Twilight got angry and yelled. "I AM NOT FAT!!!!!"
"OK. OK. Miss Crankypants."
Sol grabs Twilight's hoof and flew off.
    While flying, Sol thought to himself. [Man, being her Protector is a pain in my flank. My mom assigned me to her, but why? I don't mind, but do I have to live with her? Why does a Special Protector have to stick with the pony they're guarding for life or until they get a promotion or a demotion? Actually, I don't care. I'm a pony who will do anything to protect the ponies's hope and keep peace over the land.... Wow. I have really matured over the past two years.]
"Hey, Sol?"
"Hmm. What?"
"I'm sorry for yelling at you."
"Its fine. I'm sorry for calling you a fat flank and Miss Crankypants."
"Sol? Do you remember when we first met?"
"Ya! That was the day I became an alicorn!"
"I never got to ask. Were you always like that?"

"Oh! Yes, I do that because that's who I am. But didn't you become friends with me. I'm surprise for how long you've lasted."
"Well I thought you were nice and fun to be around. Man, was I wrong. But you have matured a lot. You've been more careful with your power."
"Yep. Because mom has been teaching me more advance spells. Spells that would allow me to destroy a mountain."

     Sol and Twilight finally reached their destination. Sol dropped the purple pony a few inches off the ground. Then Sol landed in front of the giant red brick school. They both ran up the light gray steps and through the glass doors. "Hey Twilight, do you know where your class is?"
"Yes, of course I do! We can talk at lunch. Bye!" Twilight said as she veered to the right.
"Bye! OK where's my class?" Sol looked left. "Ah! There it is!" Sol slammed through the door. Hitting something on the way in. Sol was dazed for a bit until his vision focused again. He could see a tall pink pony standing over him. "Cadence? What are you doing here?"
She chuckled and said. "I'm the teacher. Do you need a nurse, Solly?"
Sol could hear a crowd snickering at him. "No. I'm fine." Sol got up holding his head.
"OK. If your sure. Your seat is over there." She pointed at the desk in the middle of the 3 x 3 desks. Sol walked over to his desk and sat down. "Now that we have everypony, I'm going to call out names. She looks at her clipboard and calls out the first name on the list. "Octavia."
"Present!"
"Lyra Heartstrings."
"Here!"
"Thunderlane."
"Here!"
"Rainbow Dash."
"What up!"
"Carrot Top."
"Here."
"Derpy Hooves."
"Here."

"OK. Know that I know all your names, my name is Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, but you can call me Ms. Cadence. As you probably know, I am Sol's cousin, but that doesn't mean I'll treat him any different. Any questions?" Every colt raised their hoof. "That isn't "Will you go out with me?" All of the colts hands went down. "Yes, Carrot Top?"
"I love the way you styled your mane."
"Why thank you, Carrot Top."
"Kiss ass." Sol mumbled.
"What was that, Solly?"
"Nothing!"
"That's what I thought."
     Sol is sitting at his desk when the bell rang. The poines jumped out of their seats and ran out the door. "Hold it, Solly!"
"Yes, ma'am?"
"I hope this does put a damper on our friendship. I'm still the same Cadence, but we both have to keep our relationship out of the way in school. OK?"
"That's OK." Sol then hugged Cadence and ran through the door. While out their, he ran into Derpy.
"Hey, Solly." She said before kissing Sol on the cheek.
"Hey, Derpy. I thought I said not to use that name?"
"Are you going to sit with me in lunch today?"
[Aaand she ignored my question.] "Sorry, Derpy. But I'm sitting with Twilight today."
"What! You chose her over your fillyfriend. And here I thought you were a gentleman who thinks about my feelings."
"You need to stop hanging out with Rarity all the time."
"She said that would work. Why didn't it?"
"Well you have to put more drama in it."
"Bye, Solly!" She says as she takes a right into a door.
"See ya! Now where's the gym?" Sol sees a orange pegasus mare with fire-ish mane, tail, and cutie mark. "Hey do you know where the gym is?"
"Actually, I was going there myself. You can follow me."
"Hey, what's your name?"
"I'm Spitfire and you are?"
"Sol Eclipse."
"Wow! Its nice to meet you. We're here!"
"But this leads outside."
"Yep! This is the pegasi gym."
"Oh! I almost forgot." Sol reaches into his saddle bag and pulls out a small gold ring and presents it to Spitfire.
Spitfire started to become flustered. "Um. Look dude I like you, but not in that way. Besides we are to young for that and we didn't even go out yet."
"What?" Sol looked at the ring and blushed. "No! No! No! That's not what I ment. I mean could you put it on my horn?"
"Why?"
"It cuts off my magic and I can't put it on or it will get stuck on there. So I another pony have to be able to do this. Soooo."
"Ok." Spitfire grabs the ring with her mouth and puts it around his horn.
"There we go now I can't use magic." Sol and Spitfire then walked through the doors in front of them.
     In a cave somewhere in the Everfree forest, a changeling is just coming out of it's egg. "Awaken, again, my child." Said the queen with a echo in her voice. The queen looked at the changeling with a surprised look. The changeling had two different eyes. One normal and one one red. Usually when a changeling is born with impurities, it means that it would soon betray the queen and it doesn't need love as it's main food source. But it was a perfect soldier and the heir to the throne. So the only thing she could do is raise him as if he was her own son and hopefully he won't betray her. "The least I could do is give you a name." She ponders on the question for a bit. "Zearou Dragonfly!"
"Yes, I think that's good for me." He said.
"Ok. So you know what your mission is?"
"Yes I do, eliminate a black alicorn named Sol Eclipse."
"And aren't you going to leave?"
"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm on it!" And just like that he ran towards the hive entrance and ran through the Everfree forest.
     Sol is walking down the hall looking for the cafeteria. "Now where is it?" Sol kept walking while he levitates the map of the school in his face. "Man, Twilight is going to be angry with me for being late. She's probably going to say 'Your late! How can you be late? I found this effortlessly. I thought you were the son of the Princess?'" Sol said mockingly. Sol saw something in the cornor of his eye and suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. Sol turn and walked to the thing that he saw. The stage room door is open. Sol walked to it and took a peek through the open door. He saw nothing but a dark grey unicorn colt with a darker shade of grey and a dark red patch on his mane and tail. Sol also notice his black jacket, his blue eyes, and a muzzle that looks like his. He was standing on his hind leg and his knees bent forward. He had a microphone in his hoof and music is playing in the background. Sol was surprised at what he was hearing. "Is he rapping?" Sol goes through the door and trots down the aisle. Luckily his black fur allows him to blend in with his surroundings. He trotted down a row of seats and sat in the middle of the row.
     After the song was over, Sol collided his hooves together, repeatedly. When the dark gray pony looked at black pony. His face turn red as if he was embarrassed. Sol flew over to him and ask. "What's wrong?"

"Are you going to say something or are you going to be a quiet little Fluttershy?"
"H-Hello."
"Sup! I'm Sol Eclipse, but you probably already knew that and you are Rappin Microphone, are you?"
"Y-Yes."
"Your a amazing singer, Mic."
"?"
"I shortened your name, so I can say it faster."
"Ok."
"Hey! Do you know where the cafeteria is?"
"Y-Yeah." Mic jumped off the stage landing on his all fours and trotted up the aisle, Sol followed close behind.
     Sol and Mic made it to the cafeteria doors. Mic turned around and trotted back to the theater. "Hey, Mic!?"
"Hmm?"
Sol gave him a faint smile and said. "Keep chasing your dreams and one day you'll catch them."
"Thanks." Sol lifted his hoof and Mic slammed his hoof into Sol's. "See ya."
"Bye." Sol opened the doors and walked through them.
     Somewhere at the edge of the Everfree forest, Zearou was ran miles away from his cave and he was out of breath. "Jeez! I need to take a break." Zearou notice a pale tower and walked over to it. "Hmm. A old, unhygienic tower. Perfect!" He goes through the wooden door and walks on the ceiling. He then made a cocoon around himself. After he was finished he, closed his eyes and fell asleep. Not long, the door slammed to reveal a pink pony mare with pink cottoncandy-like mane and tail. Plus her eyes were light blue.
"Helloooooo~?! Is anypony here?!" She kept walking towards the giant cocoon. "Ooo! Ooooo! Its a piñata! Luckily I always keep a spare bat hidden in this place!" She dashes over to a table and pulled a bat from under it.
"Wait?! Where'd that table come from?!" She pulled back the bat and swung with all her might. "Ow!" Zearou fell from the ceiling and hitting the floor. The pink pony looks at him with disappointment.
"Your not candy."
"No, I'm not."
She then go from sad to happy in a instant. "Oh wait! Your new here! I'm Pinkie!"
"Ok? I'm—"
"Wait! Wait! Wait! I can guess it! Ummmm? Holely Bug!
"I don't think that ho—"
"Swiss cheese!"
"Where are coming up—"
"Red-eyed Bugington"
"I would hang myself if—"
"Oh I know! Peter Parker!"

"We'll so is Pinkie." Her mane started to deflate like a balloon and she looked sadder then before.
"My name isn't silly." She said in a depressing tone, also if she was about to cry.
"Hey, Pinkie are you ok? Look I'm sorry for what I said. You have a great name. It matches your personality!"

"Yes, of course! Your funny and playful. I also love your smile."
Pinkie gives a small smile and muttered. "I love you."
"What was that?" Pinkie got up and embraced him.
"I said I love you." She says this while she was rubbing her head on his.
Pinkie took her head away from his and got her face closer to his. For awhile her and the changeling stared into each other's eyes.
{Her body is so soft. Wait! What am I thinking!? I just came in here. Why does she suddenly love me? But why do I feel like I met her before?}
"I'm glad to have you back."
"What are you talking about?"
"You don't remember me?"
"How could I? I just hatched today."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
"Oh."
{Wow, she looks so sad.}
"I found you here. When I saw you I thought you were a monster, but when I got to know you. You became a very close friend. But my parents found out and had you taken back to the Everfree forest. And I never got to tell you how I really feel."
"Arrgh!" He said while a pain in his head intensifies. He grabs his head and starts to collapse.
"Zearou! Are you ok?"
"My......head."
"Hold on, Zearou! I always keep an icepack nearby for icepack emergency's."
"Nngghh!" Pinkie walks back over to the hurting Zearou. Pinkie puts the icepack on his head.
     In Canterlot, Princess Celestia was looking over Canterlot when all of a sudden she collapses. A guard ran over and tried helped Celestia get on her hooves. "Princess! What's wrong?!" He said.
"Something is coming. Something powerful. I fear that I won't be able to stop this one alone."
"Do you know what it is?"
"An old foe." Celestia looks upon the sun and sky as they started to turn black. "Send a letter to Princess Mi Amorae Cadenza to meet me her imeadetly!"
"Yes, Ma'am!"
     Back in the Everfree forest, Invent was walking through the forest when he looked up at the sky and saw the blacken sun. "Not you, again."
     Somewhere on the moon, a being looks upon Equestria. "He's back. He's going to destroy Equestria before I even get there."
     Back at the school, Sol woke up in the clinic with Twilight right beside him. Sol sat up and said. "What happened?"
"You passed out. You really scared me." Twilight said.
"That was an odd dream."
"Dream?"
"Yeah, I was dreaming about a black alicorn with dark gray zebra stripes. His mane and tail were full black and spiked. His eyes were black and he had a pointed horn and sharp teeth and his cutie mark was a black sun with two dark grey clouds under it."
"It was probably the darkness."
"No. Its something else. In my dream, he killed ponies with powerful magic. More powerful then my mother's. The sky and sun was black and he made it that way. Wait?!" Sol got up and ran over to the window. He looked at the darken sky with anger. "It wasn't a dream." Sol then turned around and ran out the door. Twilight straggled behind.
"Sol!? What's going on?!"
"Something's here!" Sol and Twilight ran into Mic and Invent. Sol looked at the light gray unicorn. "You!"
"You!"
"Came here to eat more ponies!"
"No! I came here to destroy Dark Days!"
"Who's Dark Days?"
"You need to do more resaech! Anyways, he the same monster who made the sky black!"
"Um. Guys I think we got a problem." Twilight said.
"What's the matter?!" Twilight points at the black figure standing behind them.
"Shit." Mic said.
"Hello there. It's been awhile since I've seen a argument that lead to death." Sol stares at him with an angry expression. "But where are my manners? I'm Dark Days and you must be Celestia's new pet." He says as he pats Twilight on the head.
"Don't you dare lay another hoof on her!" Sol demanded. Slapping Dark's hoof and getting in his face.
"And you must be Prince Sol Eclipse, the son of the legendary Princess Celestia. Ponies say that your very powerful. Shall we test that?" Before saying anything else Dark kicks Sol through a couple of walls.
"SOL!!!" Twilight screamed as she rushes over to help him.
"Ah, Invent! Its so nice to see you, again." Invent summoned his whip and tried to use it on the monster. But Dark grabbed the whip and wrapped the chain around his hoof. Dark Days slowly waved his hoof in front of him, before pulling back and forcing the colt to shoot forwards. As Invent was getting closer as Dark Days cocked his hoof back and slams it in the flying colt's face. Invent flipped backwards a few times because of the impact, before sliding along the ground. "Wait. Who are you?"
"..."
"Shy son of a bitch."
"What did you call me?" He says while his eye twitches.
"I called you a 'Shy son of a bitch.'"
"That's what I thought." Mic then punches Dark Days, flinging him across the hall.
"What the buck?" Dark Days then brushes the dust off him and runs towards the dark gray colt. Mic stood up and snapped his knees forward. Then spores of light comes out of his horn, goes around his hoof, and starts to create a golden stick. After that it creates an old microphone head on the right and a modern microphone on the left. It looks like a golden sledge hammer. Mic then grabs the golden hammer with two hooves and swings it at Dark Days. Smashing him through the wall. Dark Days walks through the colt's bathroom door. "Whew! Do not go in there!" Mic drops the hammer and walks over to Dark Days. Mic grabs him by the horn and rips it out. Dark then steps back with his wings out while holding the wounded area. Mic then grabs his wings and kicks him, tearing off his wings. The bloody pony lays in a pool of his own blood. Mic grabs his hammer and walks back over to the defeated monster. Dark Days watch as the dark gray pony lifts the hammer.
"Gotcha." Dark Days then kicks one of Mic's knees, causing him to fall on one knee. The bloody red pony got up and said. "You can't kill me that easy." His wings and horn grew back at a rapped pace. "And you though you've beat me." He then grabbed Mic by the throat and started to choke him.
"Hay, ugly! Let him go!" A voice said. Dark Days looked behind Mic and saw a very light yellow unicorn mare with magenta eyes and raggedy dark and light blue mane and tail. She was pushing a speaker on wheels. "Or else!"
"What in Tartarus is that?"
"Oh, it's nothing special its just my Bass Canon!" She says as she slams her hoof on a red button and opens the speaker which revealed a giant glowing speaker. Mic then headbutts Dark Days in the face causing him to drop him. Mic then runs through a hole in the wall. Then the speaker blasts a beam of energy, hitting Dark Days and forcing him through a few walls.
"Nice job! You almost hit me!" He said poking his head out of the hole.
"Be glad that I saved you!"
"I didn't need your help!"
"Don't make me blast you!"
"You and I both know it needs to charge!"
"It still won't stop me from beating the shit out of you!"
"Oh yeah! I'd like to see you try, Pot Head!"
"Hey, you do it to!"
"Oh yeah! Well.... Buck you!"
"Buck you!"
"BUCK YOU!!!"
Sol emerges from the hole he was blasted in. "BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!!!!" Mic and Vinyl both looked at the badly injured black colt. "Its not over yet! I can hear him breathing. He's still alive."
"How is he still alive!?" Invent grumbled.
"Haven't you've guys notice that he's more powerful than Celestia. I thought unicorns can sense magical energy?" Sol said. Invent struggles to get up, but falls half way.
"I can't even get up."
"We fought that guy with all our strength, but your saying that it wasn't enough!" Mic says angrily.
"Yeah that's what I'm saying."
"So what do we do now?" Twilight says.
"I have an idea. I need all of you to get out!" Sol said sadly.
"What are you...?" Twilight thinks for a second. "Are you insane!! If you do that, we don't know if you'll change back!"
"I said LEAVE!! I'll deal with him. Take the others and get out! Sol says aggressively.
     Dark Days pushes the heavy rubble off his body. "That bitch! I'm going to shove a pipe through her torso!" He brushes some dust off his shoulder. He then walks through the holes in the walls. When he got to the last one, he notice a black alicorn standing in the middle of the hallway. He smiled evilly and fell to his hooves and knees. Dark Days watches as the pony change. Red flames formed around each hoof and slowly moved up. He started to cry a red liquid and lets out a scream of pain. As the red flames goes over his cutie mark it transforms into something else. It then moves over to the wings. Changing the bird wings into a pair bat-like wings. It goes over to the face, making his teeth sharper. His horn starts to have more of a point and his eyes diulate into slits. His mane and tail loses their hair, but some stays in a pull back style. Dark Days looks at him with fear in his eyes. "No. You can't be here! Y-You're suppose to be dead!"
"So you're still alive. I guess I'll have fix that." Said the demonic black pony.
Days shook his head and stares at him with rage. "So you've put your soul in a living being. So Solar, tell me how you can take control of that pony's body?"
"I should have killed you when I had the chance."
"Oh, come on! Are you still hung up on how I betraded Equestria."
"You were an Equestrian Protector and your job was to protect this land, not try to obliterate it!"
[Solar, who is this guy?]
{An old partner who tried to plunge Equestria into total darkness, but was stopped before he could finish the spell.}
[So, what are we going to do?]
{You just shut up while "I" deal with him. You got that!} Solar and Dark both faced each other and got into an attacking positions.
     Solar charged at him and went for a punch, but Dark moves quick enough to evade the attack. Before Solar even knew what happened, Dark kicks him in the back before teleporting in front of him and punches the discombobuled pony in the face, sending him a few feet back. Solar back rolled when he hits the floor. He looks up at Dark and lifted his wings, then got in a crouching position and kicked off after him. Solar shot at him like  a racer at the start of a race. Tackling him to the ground. Solar repeatedly hits Dark before Dark kicks him off. Dark preformed a back hoof spring and immediately got into a fighting position. He then summons a mace out of thin air. Then Solar summons a pair of small chainsaws that appears out of the top of his wrist. Dark then charges at him with the mace over his shoulder and swings at Solar. He couldn't dodge fast enough and hits Solar in the arm, causing him to fly into a nearby locker. The attack was enough to send Solar back into Sol. Left there, helpless, Sol tried get up but to no avail. Dark walked over to him  to deliver the final blow. But before he could, a bright yellow beam that catches Sol's eye from down the hall to Dark in a matter of seconds.
     Sol looked back down the dim lighted hall to see two shadowy figures. He couldn't make out there faces or bodies, but he do spot some very distinct features and that one was taller then the other. The shorter one started to gallop, straight for him. Sol could hear clinking, like somepony dropping silverware on tiled flooring. Sol tried his best to scream but was in fear's clutches. As it got closer and closer, his body began to grow weaker every second. His eyelids started to feel heavy and tried his best to keep them open, but that strength wasn't going to last forever.
(Is this it?... Is this how it ends?... Is this how the son of the great and powerful Princess Celestia is gonna die?... I guess so.) Sol thought to himself as his impending doom grows ever closer. As his eyes started to close, the dark silhouette started to become more clear. With his last breath he called out the name of the being. "Cadence....?"
     When she got there, she sat on her hind legs and leaned over to lifted Sol's head up off the ground. She kept talking to him but her voice was getting more and more faint. Before his vision could go black, he could see Cadence's eyes swell up in tears. That was the last thing he saw before the light in his eyes turned to nothing but darkness. Nothing but silence.
"Sol, you idiot!" Yelled a voice, which snaps Sol back to reality. "Why do you always get yourself into these situations?!"
     Sol opens his eyes to see a bawling Cadence. Upon seeing this, he extends his hoof and grabs hers. He then says. "Hey, aren't you suppose to be the Princess of love or the Queen of drama?"
"Sol?" She says with a sniff.
"Quit crying on me, you'll get snot all over my fur."
     Without another word, Cadence wrapped her forelegs around Sol and puts her head on his shoulder. Sol then wrapped his forelegs around the sobbing Cadence.
"You're an ass."
"What are you talking about? I'm not a donkey."
"Yeah, you're going to be fine, Solly."
"I see how it is, Lance."
     After sending Dark Days to Tartarus, Celestia told the medical personnel to tend to the wounded. She then met up with Sol who was talking to the head constructor.
"So Buzz, how much damage was made to the the school?" She says in a upbeat tone.
"Well, your Highness, my crew wrote a list of what needs to be fixed. For starters there's a giant hole in the side of the  school,a ll of the lockers need to be replaced, eighteen light fixtures are either broken or hanging, the whole hall needs to be retiled, both the colt and mare restrooms needs a major fixing, we need to clear out the rubble, and several holes need to be filled."
"I...think you should take care of this Cadence, you are a Princess after all." And with a flash she was gone.
"Wait, what?" She says surprised.
"SOL!!" A voice that came from behind him. Sol turned around to see Derpy galloping towards him. She then tackles him, causing both of them to roll backwards a few times before stopping to hug him.
"Derpy... Can't... Breathe..."
"Oh, sorry." Derpy let's go and continues. "I'm just so glad that you made it out unharmed."
"A few broken bones, a concision, and loss half my blood. But otherwise I'm fine."
     Inside Sol's head, Solar is surrounded by darkness, while looking at a screen which is labeled "sight".
"You are one interesting little pony. But there's more obstacles to overcome, as long as she's up there."
