“This is the absolute worst possible thing!” A masculine voice yelled out, shattering the tense air surrounding the Carousel Boutique. The sound of pacing hoofsteps echoed off the floor from within Rarity’s room.

A gruff voice sighed. “Will ya’ll sit down! Twilight said she’d have us back to normal in a bit.”

“Rarity-”

“Don’t call me that!” The orange stallion was swiftly cut off. “I don’t want this, this thing… to be called Rarity! It feels so wrong!”

The orange stallion slammed his hoof into his face impulsively. He knew there was little reasoning with his friend. “Okay, so what would you like to be called?”

“I don’t know. Something bold, something mysterious… Oh! That’s it, Apple Jack, call me Elusive.” Saying that changed the white stallion’s demeanor, breaking his unrelenting pacing with a gentle smile.

Apple Jack wasn’t exactly sure how he should handle the situation. Checking on Rarity and Twilight he saw a purple flashed fill the room and everything went black for a long time. Next thing he knew, he and Rarity were being pushed into her bedroom to hide out until Twilight managed to make a cure for their current predicament.
