The Party Of True Love

In Ponyville, there was a house in the shape of a party balloon. The house had an upstairs bathroom, and two bedrooms. The owners of the little home, were a pink pony, with balloons on her flank and a dark yellow pony, with a yellow shirt.

The two party planners were planning the best party for somepony special, when the heard the door slam in the living room. A little red pony was in tears. Hearing the sound of their daughter's crying, Cheese and Pinkie Sandwich abandoned their blueprints, and galloped up to hug their little daughter.

"Cupcake, what's the matter?" asked her father, wiping Jelly Sandwich's eyes with a colorful handkerchief.

"Oh Daddy, it was awful", said the little pony in her hiccups. "Somepony pushed me, and told me that I'll never be like you and Mommy."

"What!?" her mother shrieked. "Nopony picks on my little baby!" Pinkie galloped out of the house in a fit of rage. Her husband, and her daughter, galloped after her. Galloping to find the foal who picked on her daughter, Pinkie stopped for a moment, and asked Jelly, "Who did it to you Jelly?"

"Well Mommy, it was a pony with a a red cap on his head, and he was an unicorn."

"So Slugger pushed you Cupcake?" Pinkie, knowing exactly where to find the little pony eventually found him in the park, playing baseball.

She galloped to him, and said, "Slugger! You pick on my little baby!"  Slugger screamed, and galloped away. As every bully should know, nopony would never pick on Pinkie's daughter, because she has severe motherly instincts.

That night, after dinner, Cheese and Pinkie tucked their daughter in, and sang the lullaby they sang since Jelly was a baby. "Hush now, little pony, you need to sleep. Hush now, little pony, this promise we will keep. You will play in the day but tonight you will rest. When it comes to little daughters you are the best."

Jelly fell fast asleep, and Cheese kissed his daughter on the cheek. "Sweet dreams Cupcake."

Cheese and Pinkie were thinking about their party plans, and Pinkie said, "Cheese, I've got it, we'll throw Jelly the most super of birthday parties."

"Of course Pinkie, Cupcake's birthday is in two days, so we'll need to make plans first thing in the morning." The two party planners made all of the necessary plans for the most special party for their little girl while she was in preschool.

They got the Cakes baking Jelly her favorite cake, chocolate  with vanilla frosting. They went all over town, and got all of the streamers, balloons, paints, and the biggest banner they can find.  They even invited all of the foals in preschool.

On the day of her birthday, after her parents brought her home from preschool, Jelly went into the house, turned on the light, and everypony shouted, "Surprise!"

"Happy birthday Cupcake", Cheese said with a smlie, giving his daughter a birthday hat.

"Mommy, Daddy, you remembered", Jelly said with tears of joy. The party was a huge success, Jelly played games, had cake, and opened presents. Her mother and father checked to make sure her party was going all according to plan.

After the party was over, Jelly galloped up to her parents and hugged them tightly. Pinkie and Cheese gave their daughter a hug tighter then she hugged them.

"Mommy, Daddy, that was the bestest birthday party I ever had."

"I'm glad you liked it Cupcake, your mother and I did this to remind you how special you are to us."

After Jelly went upstairs, Pinkie and Cheese cleaned up the party mess, and put the leftover cake and the freezer, hoping Jelly won't mind having it for breakfast.

Pinkie and Cheese woke up the next morning to see their daughter playing with her new Teddy bear. Hoping for her have a good day at preschool, they packed their daughter a special lunch.

"Everything will be alright Pinkie", said her husband.

"I hope so Cheese." Pinkie and Cheese walked with their daughter, who was weaving in and out between her parents' legs. Pinkie and Cheese smiled at each other, knowing that their daughter will be ok now.

As they got to the preschool, Jelly kissed her parents and said, "Bye Mommy, bye Daddy, I'll see you later."

"Have a good day Cupcake."

Pinkie and Cheese walked out of the preschool, confidently knowing that their daughter will have new friends now that she had an epic party.

Jelly had a wonderful day in class, she got to play with some foals, colored with them, and read stories. Jelly knew that she was lucky to have parents as great as Cheese and Pinkie.

"I wonder what Mommy and Daddy will do for the next party?" Jelly thought to herself, as the day at preschool was getting shorter.

Pinkie and Cheese was getting dinner ready, when the heard the door close.

"Oh hi Cupcake."

"Hi Mommy, hi Daddy."

"How was your day at school Jelly?"

"It was great Mommy, the kids didn't knock me down or called me names or anything."

"That's great Cupcake."

Jelly, Cheese, and Pinkie hoped that this very special day will last for everypony for as long as it could. And yet, Cheese and Pinkie couldn't help but wonder, had their daughter's new found confidence been shaking?

They went up to their daughter's room, and found her sleeping with her new Teddy bear in her forelegs. Cheese and Pinkie tucked her in her blanket, and kissed her.

"You've earned your rest Jelly."

"Yeah, sleep well Cupcake, for next year, will be your birthday."
