It was a beuatiful day in the middle of spring. The year round carnival was coming to Ponyville, and excitement was mounting. The Ferris Wheel was all set up, a giant eye in the night.It would come on later, when the night came, millions and billions of lights like fireflies. It was still day however, and the suns rays kept the Wheel dormant. A small shadow flitted across the sky, the pegasus blcking the suns rays for but a moment. She rushed forward, helped in part by a strong wind at her tail.
Ditzy Doo, known by everyone as Derpy Whooves, was nervous. She was a mailpony, and she loved her job. Sometimes she got to carry very important packages, and if she did it right, the pony who received the package would give ten extra bits and a muffin. Today she was carrying an extremely important package, a tube full of the finest golden silk. She was going to deliver it to Rarity, and this is what worried her. Rarity would be upset if the slightest thing happened to any of her fabrics, but this was such a rare fabric that if anypony even looked at it she would lose it.
Derpy winced, remembering when she had gotten a muffin crumb on the "Rare and exteremly um, burlap potato sacks" As Rarity put it. The great burlap blowout was truly a dark moment.
When she shook herself out of the awful memories, Ditzy realized that she was at the Boutique. Walking inside, she quietly looked around. There was an emptyness to the main room that unnerved her. However hard she tried, she couldn't place a hoof on what was missng. She wandered thoughout the entire bottom half of the house, thinking. Finally she figured it out. There was no dramatic pony screaming insults at a sewing machine. Worried, she began to go up the sttairs. "Rarity?" She cautiously called, making sure not to drop the fabric inside the tube clenched betwixt her teeth. Only silence responded. 'Rarity must have gone out, I'll just leave the fabric and a note.' She thought to herself. She walked into Rarity's mane room again, and set down the package. Once she wrote the note, despite her derpy vision, she walked back upstairs to put it where Rarity would find it. She had never been upstairs before, and she quickly got lost. She found herself in a huge room full of plastics printed ponies that looked like mares and stallions. Suddenly, she heard a quick russle to her left. "Hello?" She whispered, fearing what the shadows held. Nothing answered. She took a deep breath in and set hoof once more. *Russle* "There it is again! Hello?" Ditzy was really scared now. She broke into a trot, worried that it, whatever it was, would get her if she stopped. She started to gallop, and then she made a mistake. She looked behind her. She stared at the things following her,and before she could stop herself, she screamed.
Life sized mannequins of all diffent sizes wearing all different types of clothing were...were...moving. They were following her,intent on a kill. She had hit a wall, and was inching toward an exit that was a good few meters away. Se was so busy watching the mannequins that she didn't notice the stallion until she bumped into him. She screamed one more, causing the stallion to look upset. "Now now, calm down. l won't hurt you." He spoke with a thick british accent, attempting to calm her down.
"W-who are you?" She asked, a tremor entering her voice. The strange stallion had not been there five minutes ago. What was he doing here? The sound of his voice snapped Ditzy out of her thoughts.
"l'm the doctor." He said, making no attempt to clarify things further. The strange black maned stallion looked at the crowds of blood thirsty plastics ready to pounce. "We can finish introductions later Ditzy. Right now we need to get you out of here." As the mysterious stallion paused to remove somethng from a random place, Ditzy felt a plastic hoof entangle istself in her hair. For the the third time she screamed. The 'Doctor' as he had called himself, looked up. "Hold still!" He shouted, pointing the strange contration he held in his hoof at the mannequin attached to her mane. With a loud pop, she found herself free. The plastic hoof was still there, but the mannequin nowhere to be found. The Doctor roughly shoved her to the door, taking out a small square mass of wires as he did.
"Run!" He shouted, attaching the box to the wall. Ditzy complied. No sooner had she gotten out of the building did it explode. She collasped to the ground. There she lay until The firemen of Ponyville arrived. One of them wrapped her up in a blanket and escorted her home. Once there she stayed in bed for several days. Her mother had removed the plastic hoof from her mane and stuck on the shelf in her room. Ditzy only thought of the strange stallion, no doubt dead. She thanked him silently. One night she remembered the Last thing that he said to her. "Run Ditzy Doo, run!" As she recalled this, a chill ran down her spine. How had he known her name?

As a newsreport on the sudden expolsion of the boutique rambled on about no survivors, Dizy was in the midst of a phone call with her special somepony, Thunderlane. "I'm telling you Thunderlane, there was a stallion! He called himself the Doctor, and-" Her voice caught in her throat. "And he probably died saving me." Se finished in a whisper. Thunderlane sighed.
"I'll be there in a minute hon. Then you can show me the mannequin hoof, and we can discuss this 'Doctor'." He hung up. Ditzy sighed, looking at the small phone clutched in her hoof.
"Why does nobody believe me? There was a stallion."
It was much later, after Thunderlane had left, when she heard a strange noise at the door. "What the buck is that?" She wondered, flying over to the door. Peeping through the mail flap, she was met with the sight of an eye. "Aah!" She shrieked, a noise returned by the small brown stallion outside her door. "Wait..." She muttered. "That eye looks familiar..." Flinging open the door, she was greeted by the same earth pony that had saved her the day before." Doctor! What are you doing here!" She asked, quickly pulling him inside.
Frowning, he replied."I should ask the same of you." She smiled.
"This is my house! But why are you here? I thought you were dead!"
He ran a hoof through his already messy hair. "May ponies have made that mistake, even my own wife. But listen, do you still have that plastic hoof? I need you to dispose of it. Any way possible." This made Ditzy frown in confuson.
"Why? It isn't going to kill me to keep it," As an afterthought she added,"is it?"
"Well, about that..." The Doctor began.
Ditzy and the Doctor shalt return in the next chapter. Muffinz part two. The wheel!

Hey evrypony! So I guess that I decided to do a doctor whooves fic? I will attempt to stay true to Doctor Who, what I know of it anyways. I still have to finish the very end of the Silencein the Library. I am so so sorry for the errors, I am working on them.
