Vinyl Scratch has been a student at Canterlot High for as long as everyone else in her grade, and yet most people don't seem to notice her. Though being the school's DJ, her passive nature had often caused her to simply fade into the background.

That way, most people never wondered about Vinyl's way of perceiving the world around herself. And when a musical showcase comes up at school, you'd think of her as excited about it, right?

Wrong. She isn't. Not at all.

As someone finally comes around sharing her views, Vinyl primarily sees a great and powerful ally in her. Unfortunately though, things quickly get out of hand.
