All around the beautiful crystal palace,there were wails of sorrow and crashes of angry,well-placed kicks to vases and other items in the king's chambers.There had been a curse placed on Cadenza.(I bet you clever reader you,have figured out the curse by now,but here is a reminder.

"No, my precious foal,POISENED BY A CURSE!16 YEARS IS TO YOUNG TO DIE!!!!!!!" cried out Emerald,holding her wailing child close under her wing as she used her hooves to point at a messenger."Go and search all over the kingdom for the most powerful unicorn and the most powerful power source.If all else fails,come straight back and I will plead to Celestia my self!" the aggravated and scared pony ordered.
Then, one day a powerful unicorn with the name Clover the Clever was found.She was not able to completely destroy the curse,but was able to alter it."Instead of dying on her 16th birthday day,she will merely fall into a death like slumber,and awake at true love's kiss.That lucky stallion will become her bride!" Clover stated,sharing the enthusiasm of the parents,"But,there,as always in a spell that was created spur of the moment,there will be side affects.The curse may fulfill itself BEFORE her 16th birthday and a protective barrier of sorts might form to protect her in her slumber.".
