Spike feels that his life in Ponyville is coming to an end so instead of waiting he decides to begin his journey now

Spike has a great life among his friends in Ponyville, but for some reason it feels empty. He knows that he wont spend the rest of his life in one small town so he decides to go around all of Equestria to find new friends, adventures, and challenges.
