When Kingdoms Fall

Before the downfall of man, there were billions of people; lots of them had families to where the children knew where they belonged. This all changed one day when a single group named ‘The Punishers of Mankind ‘formed from the shadows. This group was known only for their need for blood and when they get it. Not caring who or how many people died in the process. In that time we had items known as ‘Nuke’s’ these weapons could destroy millions and that’s exactly what happened, the Punisher leader wanted no one to live after another group stood up to them nearly wiped them out, his final words were “If you can’t take your punishment, then we’ll all die together!” and with those words the world saw the once clear blue skies turn red as hell’s gates. But when the smoked cleared not all was claimed by deaths touch. Mysterious stone pillars appear claiming to be there to help man but would require a power source. This power source is the strongest weapon a human has, hope.

“Bring to me three of your people who show the highest form of hope and I shall be able to erase this infection.” These words were the base of a story told to the children to keep their spirits up and hopefully their hope as well. This is that story

Once upon a time we once lived on a beautiful  planet called Earth, home to millions of families, mommies, daddies, even children lived in peaceful times, living each day to the fullest. That all changed when a great shadow washed over the land nearly wiping all of the people from our once beautiful home, but we were saved by the ‘it’ a mysterious stone with nearly endless power, with this great power come a great cost, in order to remove the bad evil the shadows left behind when they were defeated by the good light, ‘it’ needed to take three children with ‘it’ when it returned home in order to keep peace and harmony flowing in our world.

These children, told to us by ‘it’ will poses abnormal power, speed, intellect, and kindness. So far none have shown these traits but ‘it’ says these children will be born fifteen years before ‘it’ departs from our world. These kids will become our salvation and true symbol of hope. The hope of mankind’s survival.

Crystal Empire: throne room Midday.

“So how are things holding up on the human world dear Cadence.” Asked a slender female in an elegant blue dress, she stood to be about five foot six, above average body built. Within a throne room stood four lone figures, another female slightly taller sporting a very erotic dress the same color as her coat, pure white. Then there’s the  smallest female out of the four, she wore a typical librarians uniform but a few sizes too small to the point her breasts look ready to pop, she also had a lavender tie that matched her coat.

“Not to good aunty Luna, the boy I told you about, Jack, one of his friends hurt themselves and I only managed to get a little information as to why.” Cadence looked down in defeat and walked to her throne sitting down wiping down her simple pink dress and signing. “In a few more hours the purification spell should work, I managed to gather enough magic from their worlds children willingly, that’s good right?” The tallest female walked over to Cadence and placed a hand on her shoulder.

“It is very good, but did you find the ones who could adapt to our world best?” Cadence visibly perked up at this and nodded.

“Yes I have actually, the first is Jack.” The others giggled causing cadence to blush a hard pink but due to her pink coat, just made her blush turn red. “W-what’s so funny aunt Celestia?”

“Well you had your eye on him since you looked into his world and caught him showering.” Cadence stuttered and slacked jawed at how her aunt knows about that day.

“H-how d-did you know about t-that?”

“I’m your aunt, ruler of Equestria, and goddess of the sun, what don’t I know.” Celestia said with a smirk on her face.  “Now who are the other two?” regaining her composer she stood up and cleared her voice.

“The other two are Alice and Cosmos, Jack’s friends.” All eyes narrowed at Cadence and the lavender female spoke up.

“I don’t understand, Why those two? We all know you just want Jack to yourself so why the competition?” Cadence again blushed. “Plus you’re married to my brother, also with what you tell us he seems more suited to go with pinkie pi-.” Just then a pink blur fly by and attached itself to Luna’s face.

“Hi Twilight, what's up? Who would be suited for me, I don’t think I’m a suit, that wou-“Luna, already agitated at Pinkie pie, clamped her hand on her mouth.

“Wouldest the tell us why thy felt it would be ok to appear during an alicron meeting young Pinkie pie?”

“Well first it’s not only me,” She pointed at the door and there stood nine others each staring wide eyed at their pink friend who not only interrupted a meeting but also was face hugging the lunar goddess, Luna. “Second I wanted to see this ‘Jack’.”

“Why?” Asked just about everyone in (and out) the throne room. Pinkie pie hopped off Luna’s head and walked to Twilight.

“He sounds like a good friend.” Twilight noticed a slight red form on Pinkie cheek but let it slide. “So when is he coming?”

“Well I just have to check the spell then we four will have to activate it.” Cadence said motioning towards the other alicorns, “If all is ready then we can begin. “ Cadence holds her hands up as a bright hot pink engulfed her hands and horn, as soon as it begins it ended. “It’s ready. Yeah now we can begin but first I must check in on Jack. Everyone nodded as Cadence once again lit up her magic and sent her conscience to earth. What she saw brought a fearful gasp. “Oh sweet moon, what happened?”

Jack’s P.O.V: operations room.

Pain, that’s all I felt as the group of doctors stabbed me with needles and plugged some kind of device to my arm. “Let me go!!” I screamed I couldn’t believe that mom and doc tricked me into this, what did I do?  After I was in the medical room they told me Alice…Died and it was too late, I cried my eyes out for a while locking myself away, at least until Mom came and told me about a second option to bring back Alice. They called it Cazo (Ka-so) the hell demon and it claimed to be able to give power to one who can   bring back the dead but only if it could have ten minutes in a human body, and it just so happens; the doctors looked dead at me. Now I’m tied down to a metal table, stabbed with syringes, crying out in pain, and wondering why my mind haven’t submitted to the pain and let me go into shock.

‘Jack what is happening to you?’ I couldn’t respond my mind going blank as I felt something grew in its place. ‘Please say something!’

‘He’s mine now.’ My eyes shot open to the new voice in my head, ‘He’ll love what’s in store now.’

“Leave me alone!!” I screamed again only it was darker and filled with hate, ‘What did you do to me?’

‘Ha ha, well it seems you are a willful human, I’ll tell you before your changes begin. First you’re losing a bit of your humanity and becoming a half-blooded demon, a spawn of Hades. Second during my first ten minutes I’m going to revive your friend Alice I believe her name was. Third and lastly I’m going to kill everyone else who isn’t your friend.’ I felt my mind slip again as the same darkness grew to take my vision.

“R-run before the demon kills you all!” I screamed again but no one seemed to care, why aren’t they moving away?

‘Because I own your body for the next few minutes, don’t worry I’ll make those who bullied you and betrayed you burn in Tartarus.’ Wait what kind of demon helps?! ‘All because I’m a demon doesn’t make me evil at the core.’ Great now if you’ll excuse me I really wonder where these shadows go.

Crystal Empire: Throne room

“What has happened?” Luna asked worried about the tears flowing from Cadences eyes.

“T-they are trying to revive the dead…And their using Jack as payment and they all are going to die if we can’t pull Jack and his friends to us and use the spell, we need to move now!” Cadence let her magic flow at the maximum output releasing a strong, pink wave that floated to the roof and was joined by Celestia’s golden wave, then Luna’s blue, and lastly Twilight’s lavender all off the energy pulled forth the very fabric of reality tearing a hole into the roof.

“I think its working! Come on just a bit more!” Celestia called above the whirling winds. “Ok now pull!” with a mighty yell coming from the four alicorns three bodies fell through the tear and a bright light shined blinding everyone, Soon the tear collapsed in on itself and sent colorful smoke everywhere.

“Did it work?” Luna coughed, in the smoke there came a low groan followed by the sound of metal being dragged.

“Jack? Is that you?”Cadence asked but there was only a sinister silence and growl.

“…You’re the voice…” Jack said still shrouded in the dust and could only see his body’s outline.”Where are you?”

“I’m over here just let me handle this.” Covering her mouth Cadence swung her arm and the dust vanished, there in the middle of the room lied an unconscious female and a male who body looked to be breaking apart. “JACK!” Cadence unfurled her wings and dashed across the room grabbing him tight. “Stay with me please.”

“He he, you do look cute…not what I first thought at all.” Tears fell from his eyes as he grits his teeth in agonizing pain.”It hurts everywhere…”Cadence active her magic and leaned closer to Jack’s forehead and lightly pressed her lips against it,  only nothing happened.

“Why isn’t it working?”

“Because it’s good, not evil.”
