Stuck Together

Adagio Blaze walked up to the school elevator. Her two friends, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk trailed behind her.

"You know how I don't like elevators," Sonata suddenly said. "C-can't we take the stairs instead?" Adagio rolled her eyes.

"No, the elevator is faster," Adagio said firmly. "You know we have to get to class fast!" Sonata looked down at her feet, as Adagio pressed buttons on the outside of the elevator. After a minute, the elevator doors opened before them, and the three girls stepped in, Sonata trying to be as slow as possible.

"Stop being such a scaredy-cat!" Aria snapped. Sonata glared at her, and stuck her tongue out at her.

"I'm not a scaredy-cat!" Sonata protested. "I just.. Don't like elevators!" Adagio ignored them and pressed another button for the 3rd floor on the elevator. The doors shut, and they began to go up. A few seconds later, they heard a weird noise. It was a sound that didn't sound too good.

"Um.. W-what was that?!" Sonata asked. Adagio shrugged.

"I don't know," Adagio replied. "That was really weird! It doesn't sound like were even going anywhere.." Aria facepalmed.

"We should've took the stupid stairs!" Aria stomped her foot. Sonata stared at her.

"That's what I said!" Sonata said. Adagio paced around in small circles. After about 10 minutes, the girls were doing their own things. Adagio was still pacing around, Aria was playing with a small marble she found in her pocket, and Sonata was using a magic 8 ball.

"Do you think we'll ever get out of here?" Sonata asked the magic 8 ball. Then she shook it. It read, "No way." Sonata sat there in shock for a second. Then she turned to Adagio.

"Adagio! It says we'll never get out!" Sonata exclaimed. Adagio just kept pacing, like she never heard Sonata. Sonata went back to asking questions. Aria was getting bored. She got up, and tried prying open the elevator doors. It didn't work.

"DANGIT!" Aria hissed. "I'm not strong enough! Curse my small arms!" Adagio pressed the emergency call button. Nobody answered.

"This is the worst day of my life!" Adagio clenched her fists. "I so can't wait to get out of here!" Sonata sighed.

"What if we never get out? What if were stuck in here forever..?!" Sonata said, her eyes widening. Aria turned to Sonata.

"We're not going to be stuck in here forever!" Aria responded. "Why would you ever think so negative?!" Sonata looked down at the ground and shrugged. Adagio looked like she was going crazy, Sonata looked scared, and Aria was just plain angry. It had been about 1 hour before Adagio couldn't take it anymore. They had to get out. Now. And fast.

Adagio looked around the elevator, trying to find things like vents or something. No luck. Finally she came up with a plan.

"Sonata, do you have your phone with you?" Adagio asked. Sonata nodded and took her phone out. Adagio quickly snatched it and called 911.

"Now we just have to wait," Adagio said after she spoke with the police. "The cops should help is any minute."  Sonata clapped excitedly. Aria ignored them.

"I'll just be glad to get out," Aria mumbled. The room was silent for about 5 minutes before the girls heard commotions coming from outside of the elevator. Suddenly, the doors were being pryed open and they got out. The girls were so happy to be out of that elevator.

"I'm still angry at you Adagio for choosing the elevators!" Aria snapped, pointing a finger in Adagios face. Adagio laughed nervously.

"Yeah it's all your fault!" Sonata said accusingly. "That's why your going to take us to the mall and get us whatever we want! Since your rich and all!" Adagios eyes widened, and the two other girls laughed evilly.
