What a wonderful existence

Fluttershy was finishing up cleaning her cottage with the help of a couple of her bird friends "thank you so very much for your help, I really appreciate it" fluttershy said as she showed them out the door. She was just about to relax by reading one of the books on exotic animal care twilight lent her but angel bunny was stretched out in the middle of the couch looking bored and restless, and refused to move "oh angel.. It's ok, it's such a nice day out ill just read in the park" at that the white rabbit popped up and jumped up and down excitedly on the couch "you want to come with?" Angel nodded up and down. Fluttershy giggled "ok, I suppose you can come with, as long as you don't cause any trouble" she said that last part with force and angel nodded again, then began pinkie swearing he would. This made fluttershy burst into the giggles "I'll take that as a yes" the yellow Pegasus pack her saddle bags with a couple apples and a bottle of cider, her book, a few carrots for angel and a blanket to lay on. She strapped on her saddle bags and headed out the door, angel bunny hitching a ride on her back.

She soon arrived at her destination and picked a big shady tree to lay her blanket down, setting out the snacks and cider beside her book "why don't you go play angel I'll just be sitting hear, oh don't go to far!" Fluttershy yelled as angel scurried off to play. With one eye on angel and the other reading her book she didn't even notice another pony walking up to her "why fluttershy, it's so nice to see you hear" she looked up in a start to see rarity smiling down at her "oh rarity, it's nice seeing you too! Why are you at the park?" "I was just enjoying a nice walk on this lovely day, do tell why your nose is stuck in a book when you could be enjoying a beautiful walk in the park with me?" "Oh I don't want intrude on your day or anything" "nonsense, there's no reason why I can't offer my best friend a chance to bask in the glorious day princess princess has blessed us with" rarity seemed to really need the company, her normal graceful appearance looking frazzled, so fluttershy agreed "let me just get angel then we can go" fluttershy called her bunny and he came reluctantly "angel, rarity has invited us on a walk, we can come back a bit later, ok?" she explained while backing up her bags. Angel bunny didn't like that idea at all, but hopped on fluttershys back and complied when he remembered he promised to behave.

Bags strapped rarity and fluttershy were on the move "I'm terribly sorry to drag you away for your book fluttershy but I guess I needed the company more than I thought" "it's fine rarity, but.. I thought you were watching sweetie belle this month" raritys face went blank for a few moments but she regained her composure just as fast "let's just say the cutie mark crusaders are spending the week at applejacks due to a... mishap" remembering when she agreed to watch the rambunctious fillies fluttershy nodded and left it at that "it's so nice getting together with you like this rarity" fluttershy said breaking the few minutes of silence between them "of yes darling, we must do this again sometime I do enjoy your company" the white unicorn looked much more relaxed then when she first asked the yellow pegasus to go with her "I should really thank you fluttershy, having time to walk with a close friend and clear my head really makes me feel better about the wet carpet" that took her back a bit but she didn't press "your very welcome I'm glad I could help, um, is it ok if I ask what-" "HEY RARITY" rainbow dash shouted from the sky, landing effortlessly I front of the two ponies "I paid my half for the roof, sorry again" rainbow looked down sheepishly and scratched the back of her head slowly "well I would hope you did and you are" rarity said matter-a-factly "that being said, although you ruined my house, and a wonderful vintage carpet, I can forgive you for now" rarity gave a half hug to a still embarrassed rainbow pegasus who excused her self and flew off "what happened?" fluttershy said, looking at the rainbow trail left behind by dashes hasty retreat "nothing you should concern yourself with dear, it's been lovely but I must be on my way to assess the various other damages done to my boutique, I'll see you soon darling" a quick nuzzle and rarity was off to her home, leaving fluttershy and angel bunny alone again.

The white bunny was suddenly aware that they were alone and began jumping up and down on on fluttershys back "oh! Of course we can go back to playing in the park" fluttershy went back to her spot under the tree and re-set her blanket and snacks. After drinking her cider and and watching angel devour his carrots he ran off to play again and fluttershy returned to her book. Soon the sun was being lowered and it was time to pack up "angel!" Fluttershy called while packing, when the bunny wasn't there by the time she was done there was obvious concern in her calls "ANGLE BUNNY!" Panic filled the yellow pegasuses pony heart as she ran in the direction her pet was last seen. Fluttershy began to have a panic attack when after 15 minutes of searching couldn't bring up the white bunny. As the timid pony broke down in sobs she suddenly felt a tapping on her muzzle "huh?.." She looked up and saw a scared looking bunny in front of her "OH ANGEL YOUR BACK" she embraced the bunny and sobbed quietly "I thought I lost you forever" the bunny was suddenly wiggling and got free, hopping in one place and pointing in the direction on the woods "what is it angel?" Fluttershy wiped her eyes free of tears and followed her pet. Angel soon lead fluttershy to a small clearing in the path and she saw a brown mound laying in the dirt "a.... Dirt clot?" But when the bunny began jumping and waving in a frenzy she new it was much more, on closer inspection it was a beaver, not quite and adult but definitely not a baby. It was fluttershys turn to take charge "oh thank you angel, I wouldn't have known if you didn't run off" she praised as she wrapped the beaver in the blanket she brought and took to the air, angel managing to shimmy up fluttershys tail and on her back before she took off like a bullet to her cottage to tend to the injured beaver
