Equestrian Excellence School
Twilight Sparkle has been a princess for over a year now. So many people have assisted her through her times of need, helping her achieve her goals. For example, Celestia would always guide her in the correct path to achieve greatness, and she did such. All her friends, they have committed countless actions that helped Twilight in numerous ways. Helping her get over her fears, helping with projects, going to places she is nervous to and saving her life so many times. Occasional, she begins to feel bad about herself for not helping them back, wishing there was a way to guide other ponies into the future. Twilights main goal she has set for herself while being princess, is not to look good, smile and wave, but to lend a helping hoof. There isn't really any simple way to do this though, without spending a large budget or taking thousands of years. To do something great for a large amount of ponies, usually requires a lot of money to be spent on setting up multiple things. Of course, she is a princess, and could just provide certain ponies with something great, but then other ponies are left with nothing. Twilight finished sipping her tea, going over her thoughts again. She really only wishes she could do something great for Equestria, people knowing her as kind, generous, caring princess. Its not that Celestia, luna or Cadence are not, she just wants to shine in a very positive way.
Today, twilight is going to the very popular primary school back in Ponyville, to teach the young fillies valuable lessons. All of them would be delighted to know that we are coming, but those young ones mainly just care about that we are princesses. They don't care why we are there, what they are meant to do while we are there, and most of them don't know how they should behave. Equestria needs to learn to discipline fillies into acting mature and appropriate, we all know how Pinkie Pie turned out without that. Their school seemed nice enough, large areas out the front for beautiful gardens, a place to put things such as skate boards, scooters and tricycles. They were probably more likely to have tricycles, since these fillies are at such a young age, and it is a lot harder to ride a bicycle as a pony, then what it seems back in Canterlot high. Sunset Shimmer made me try ride one, and it seemed so easy compared to ours! Of course, I only crashed around 10 times in 10 minutes, but thats not the point. It is a lot easier. After entering their school, a large row of buildings consisted on the left side. These were left for numerous facilities such as the office, staff rooms and sick bays. On the right side, a massive building, which could probably hold up to 2000 ponies. That area was used for where the fillies and teachers gathered once a week for notices and what not, as well as special occasions such as Wonderbolts, or us, heading to this school.
I stopped examining the other buildings nearby and paced towards the large hall on which I mentioned. We went around the back stage of the hall, which had multiple things including the front stage with large, wavy, black curtains. Seeing this, they must have quite a few drama performances either from the students for classes or local performers. Us princesses walked over to who we recognised as the schools principle. She was an old women, with grey skin and with a frizzy purple mane. The local community knows her as a very kind women, but you don't want to get her in an angry mood. Although, twilight knew since she was royalty she would try to put as good of an impression on her as possible.
"Welcome, princesses," She nervously stated, bowing down her head in respect. "We are very pleased to have you with us today! I know this is a casual thing where the kids get to ask questions about you and your jobs within Equestria, but I'm concerned about how the kids will behave. Hopefully your influence will make them less ecstatic and calm down, oh never mind that. Would you like a drink before this starts?"
Celestia was the first one of us to reply, which was probably a good thing. I didn't really know what to say, as I have been more focussed on other concerns lately. Whilst she was speaking about that manner, I was thinking if there is a way we could make so all young ones could be perfect..
"No, we are quite all right. Thank you for the offer, though."
"My pleasure, miss Celestia." The schools principle galloped to the other side of a room, telling the teacher which was first going on to make way onto the stage and start his notices for the school.
"The canteen will be closed next week, as we have had problems with the machines in there." We all heard the grunts of the kids, not being able to buy their food. These spoiled brats, so many kids just get given money from their parents without a care. The fillies should really learn to work for pay, like I had to. And from not spending my own money at school, I was extremely fortunate if I got given money once a month. The person saying the notices was ignored by twilight, going over her thoughts once again. Maybe I should start my own school, make them learn to be perfect. Oh im being too much of a snob, kids are kids, none can be perfect.
"... signups will be available from next Tuesday outside of staff room 3. Of course, all of you must know the princesses are here to talk with you all. Its nothing bad, your not in trouble. Remember, while they are here show respect. If you want to ask a question, don't call out. Because this is such a massive room, it may be difficult for them to hear questions, so please be quiet while questions are being answered. So I welcome on the stage, Princess Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Twilight Sparkle.
I felt a nudge into my wing. Turning around, I spotted Celestia gesturing to move onto the stage. I was so lost in thoughts I didn't realise we were going on. Why are we even doing this? If the kids want to know something about us, why don't they just read a book or the autobiography written up to last month I recently published. I gazed off out onto the audience of young fillies, teachers and several parents, which the kids probably didn't want to be there.
"Hello, of course you know we have a very important responsibility here in Equestria. So we will be answering as many questions we can as possible. Ok.. first question.. you at the front." Luna instructed a young colt at the front, who had black skin and an aqua mane.
"Is it hard being a princess?" Considering he was speaking to the four most important people in all of Equestria, he said it very calmly.
Cadence decided to answer this one. "Some parts of it can be very hard, as my role for protecting the crystal empire, I need to constantly cast a dim spell to keep the city protected. It becomes very tiring after a while. Celestia and Luna need to adjust the day and nights each and every day, and have many meetings events, so they can rarely stay put in one place. And for twilight, she needs to keep studying ways to fix things and keeps everything in balance. Sometimes, it takes countless hours of research to find solutions to some things. So for all of us, it is pretty hard most of the time. Ok, Mare with the green and white mane at the back." She answered that well, with the extremely small amout of time to think of an answer. I wonder if the kids could even understand the vocabulary she mentioned..
"Celestia and luna, who are your parents and why are they not immortal aswell?" This would be a hard question to answer. They never mentioned it to anyone, as it was quite private. The only people that knew about it was us princesses and discord.
"Well, little one, we were grown up into a family which was in charge of a far away land. At this time, none of us were immortal. We were extremely talented with magic when we were a little older then you all would be. We discovered a spell one day while messing around attempting to mix spells together, which surprisingly led to a spell that made us immortal. Our parents passed away, and when Equestria was discovered we moved and ruled here." Not exactly the truth, nor a lie.
As the two fillies were young, they ventured out into the wilds without their parents knowing. They stumbled along this large cliff inside a canyon which was uninhibited by ponies. The cliffs were sharp and spiky like a dragons tooth. Other ponies that had seen the view, were too afraid to explore this unknown location, afraid what might be inside. It just looked so.. out of this world. There was a mysterious gas that floated out of several holes in the ground, appearing as lime coloured. The two fillies gagged at the disgraceful smell. As they stumbled past the unholy stench, they noticed a large cave entering through the face of the mountains. Luna started shaking behind Celestia, but the older, more confident pony pushed onwards. Strange shaped bones hung from the roof of the cave, covered with stains of, something but not blood, which was pink coloured.
"BOO!"
The too ponies fell backwards onto lump of mud which cushioned their fall.
"Ha, you should have seen the looks on your faces. Would you like something, my dears? Oh, you look so thirsty! Would you like a drink out of this definitely-not-poisonous-cup-of-water?" A cup somehow appeared into the creatures hands with the snap of his fingers.
"Who.. are you?" Celestia tried to sound intimidating, but her fear of the horrific creature made her sound quite pathetic.
"Oh, I'm just some lonely creature. Hated from the world, no one loves me. Do you know what its like for no one to love me? It's horrible? Anyway, enough with the soppy stuff, I don't need love. You can call me Discord." Celestia and Luna had heard folk tales from their parents and grand parents about an evil spirit haunting the world, causing chaos where ever he went. It all seemed so fake, but now that they had seen it for themselves, they were terrified.
"Don't look so scared, I should have known I would be scary for a young pony like you two. Here is this better?" He snapped his fingers and he appeared in a pink tutu and star wand in his left hand. "There, much better. Anyway, I know your faces. Your the king and queens daughters, isn't that lovely? I have a deal for you. Give me that necklace your both wearing, and ill give you the gift.. of immortality. You two will be gods, wont that be great! We can chill out together, since we three will never die."
The two young ones had not realised how important those necklaces were. They held magic which prevented any spirits from casting many spells. As discord was extremely powerful, he could still use a little bit. But with those two necklaces gone, he could make them immortal, and do several other desires..
"OK mister!" Celestia and Luna happily handed over the necklaces. They felt a surge through there bodies, like a million bolts of electricity passing through each and every limb. They struggled to stand up after only a few seconds, and collapsed on the ground.
Three hours later, they woke up again. They were in the same cave as before, except it had been greatly decorated. It had floating objects everywhere, and the cave seemed to be atleast twice the size as before.
"Thank you greatly! You two are immortal! Although, it came in a price of your parents life. Nothing important of course. Anyway what do you wanna do?"
The two fillies felt like they had been hit with a barrage of bricks. Their parents.. what did he do to them? "WHAT! DID YOU KILL MY PARENTS YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Celestia enraged, usually not acting like this. Although, this was one of her worst nightmares.
"Naughty naughty. Didn't your parents teach you to watch your tongue? For that, I think ill need to make you mortal again. As he cast his spell with the snap of his fingers, a green explosion appeared knocking discord back into a wall. His spell appeared to not have worked correctly, so he could not cancel the immortality. The two fillies warped back to their castle. Supprisingly, Discord never paid them a visit. Instead, he was elsewhere, preparing to unleash chaos over the world. Ofcourse, in their adulthood when they lived in Equestria, they froze him in stone preventing such a thing.
Question after question, answer after answer. Twilight had been given two which she struggled to answer. One about why Celestia made her a princess, which she explained, and the other came a shock.
"How is your sexual life as a princess? I mean, do you suck many stallionhoods, and wouldn't being married be pointless to a alicorn? You live forever so your husband would just die. Pretty shitty if you ask me." Several teachers scurried off dragging him out of the building. Twilight heard very loud shouting from outside the building, complaining about how disrespectful he was. Although, it was probably for the best because now she was assure she wanted to do something for Equestria.
After the questions were finished, and the princesses were left alone once again, twilight had to ask the question that has been on her mind all day. She just wasn't exactly sure if it was the best idea, until now. She needed to improve ponies attitude, maturity, respect, and all these things that were extremely important. The way that colt talked to her, you wouldn't believe about that much disrespect to a princess.
"So, Celestia. Can you help me make a school?"
