I remember it was just like any other day:
Princess Twilight Sparkle could be described as a mare with a horn and wings with a lavender coat. She has two stripes within her purple mane, one a darker shade, while the other a bright pink. She has a slender build and most notably is her cutie mark. It was the element of magic surrounded by 5 stars.
Surprisingly for a bookworm, you would say that you might forget that she deprived of food, as well as sleep with her alicorn metabolism. As well, the lavender mare takes in a deep breath.
“Ok it’s the first day of flight training with Rainbow Dash, no pressure.” said Twilight, as she put her hoof to her chest and breathed inward and outward, letting out a sigh.
“But with this, everything will be just fine.” said Twilight, taking a deep breath as she searched her bookshelf in her castle.
“Here it is”, Twilight thought, as her horn lit up while grabbing a particular book with her magic. On the front cover were the words “AERODYNAMICS AND THEORY OF FLIGHT”. “This will do the trick”, Twilight thought, humming to herself.
Pulling it off the shelf with her magic, she hugged it with a smile as she sat on her rear, now holding the book in midair with magic, as she scrolled through the pages.
“With this I can show dash how to really fly.” Twilight thought as she put a hoof to her chin. “Maybe this’ll even teach her a thing or two”.
Seemingly appearing out of nowhere, Rainbow Dash shouted at lavender mare setting below her.
“What are you doing egghead?” She was a Pegasus that sported a light blue coat and a rainbow colored mane along with a tone built. It was not at all surprising that she was constantly moving through the sky and while enjoying many sports.
Twilight shrieked, jumping at the shock of the sudden noise so her fur stood on end. As she jumped from the shock, she tossed the book overhead landing on her back. She looked up to find Dash looking her square in the eyes.
“Twi, I told you, no books!” Rainbow Dash responded, as Twilight turned away to turn both her ears down in embarrassment, her eye unable to meet Rainbow’s, knowing full well she had broken her promise.
Rainbow Dash, who was hovering in the air, replied, “You asked me for help Twi, but you still won't let go of this,” She said, pointing at her with the book in her hoof.
Rainbow was hurt; her ears turned down from the disappointment that Twilight didn't trust her with teaching her everything she knows about flying, the one thing she was the most experienced at. Glaring at the book, her emotions erupted; smoke came out her ears as she threw the book to the ground in protest of Twilight’s actions.
Out of the corner of Twilight’s eye, she saw the book falling so she jumped to all fours in a blink of an eye and with everything she had, she attempted to save the knowledge filled book. In no less than a second, she saved the book from hitting the floor and uttered a sigh.
“That was close,” sighed twilight with a strained look on her face then turned to Dash with a serious tone “How dare you!” bewildered by the look of delight on Dash’s face.
Rainbow Dash shouted. “That was amazing!” as she put both her hoofs in the air, “Twi, I’ve never seen you fly so fast as you just did earlier!”
Twilight, in annoyed tone said, “Of course, I just got my wings, even I don't even know how fast I can really go Dash,” As twilight unknowingly started to lecture Dash.
Then a light bulb appeared over Dash's head. “Twi, I think I know how we can find out how to speed up your training.” Hovering in the air, both her arms crossed with a big playful grin.
Princess Twilight gave an unsure look. “Let’s take it slow, it's my first day.” With a worried look, Dash replied filled with energy. “Don't be a spoil sport. Just leave it to me.” As she was trying to ensure her everything was going ok. “Take a fast fly around Ponyville, and then meet me here in an hour” said Dash.
With that, Twilight was off.
After a few running jumps and crashes she started to rise. Through flapping her wings and gasping in breaths of air in the calm summer, flying over ponyville in short time. It began to hit her that what she was looking at was what she loved about Ponyville.
“I walked down the streets before, sure, teleported, yes, but I never flew over the town without my hot air balloon. I never took the time to take in the view of pony Ville.” Twilight said inwardly as she gave a relaxing sigh.
“But this will be so different,” Twilight said with a smile in a confident tone with new found energy. Princess Twilight began to race through the air.
“An hour, I know I am new but come on, it won't take me that long after I read subsection B of AERODYNAMICS AND THEORY OF FLIGHT.”
“It covers proper wing flying patterns,” Twilight said proudly as she started to struggle in flying a straight line, going in and out of the clouds.
As Princess Twilight wiped the cloud from her face, she opened both her eyes.
“I can see this is what it's like to be like Dash and Flutter shy” twilight said with realizing this is what they see every day, as twilight took in an overview of the town of Ponyville.
“Sure is wonderful. I can see Flutter shy’s house over trees.” Twilight said as she soared higher into the sky. Closing her eyes as wind softly blew her worries away, she brushes more clouds away from her face with one eye closed. Her other eye slowing opening to the other eye then out of shock, both open taking it all in.
Princess Twilight looked on in shock. “Applejack’s farm know it was big,” said twilight in shock tone.
“But I didn't know it was this big!” Having a sky view of Applejack’s farm as twilight toke it all in. “If only I had a sketch pad,”
“Wait, I have one at the castle.” said Twilight.
Knowing this, she raced back. Moments later, coming round back to her castle of friendship, she landed, walking in to find spike carry a couple of books.
“Ah, Spike, I see you finally have taken to reading in your spare time.” Twilight said with a big proud smile.
Spike replied. “Keep on dreaming Twilight.” He replied. “Twilight, the books I am holding are not for me, they're for Dash. I'm taking them to her now for some kind of training course.” Scratching her forehead, Spike continued. “But I don't know what kind of training could be done with some books and a storm cloud”.
Twilight jumped and started to panic, thinking to herself, “The books may get wet and none of these books he is holding will help you with controlling clouds or hold any vague mention of it, ”said twilight in worried tone.
Before she knows it, the lavender mare was already running though the town. “What could a pony like Dash, a cool pony that fears being call a bookworm, be doing with all these books? It makes no sense,” Twilight said out loud.
Many ponies turned to see Twilight running down the street.
Rainbow Dash saw Twilight running up to her. “Ha, Twi, you made it!” waving her hoof in her direction, making her turn to dash as she shouted, “Look out!” as she ran into the mud as the rain from cloud over head hit her as she yelled at dash “what’s with this cloud!”
Rainbow dash replied. “Don't get your mane in a bunch. It is part of your training course.” Dash said joyfully.
Twilight turned to look at dash found bunch of book stacked on the ground in close vicinity.
As Rainbow dash hovered in air she look down at twilight smug grin.. “so are you going to stay in the mud or are we going to get this show on the road”.
With a vicious glow of her horn twilight clean herself off with her magic then gave dash good stare dash seem clustered from this then dash responded “what is it Twi,” said dash.
before she could finish Twilight yelled “what are you doing with all my books!” with her eyes set ablaze, “ Twilight continued “and that rain cloud I know you said no books but isn't this going too far” said Twilight.
Rainbow Dash looked partly shock but mostly relieved. Twilight bewildered by this so she pose a question “why are you so happy that I am angry with you” as she raised eyebrow
Rainbow Dash proudly responded “sure I will tell ya Twi I was so happy when got your wings, having new flyer in our group was so much fun,” Dash said half-heartedly.
Twilight raised an eyebrow “you sound worried,” In response
Dash continued “Yes Twi but I was kind of worried that when you ask me to teach you how to fly at first but then I was proud my turn to be the smartass leader” pumping her chest with her hoof.
With that Twilight rolls her eyes “of course” she said inwardly.
Then it hit me. As dash continued “for me flying is easy because it’s my passion my everything and your was the books and what is it call”
Twilight cut’s in with reply “it's the pursuit of greater magic and joy of learning” in a proud outspoken tone.
With humoring look on her face,”Ya that” said dash giving twilight a fake grin
Dash continued “so it come to me how I can combine flying with your passion and make you great flyer in no time just like me” pointing hoof proudly to her chest.
Twilight with puzzled expression “I don't follow” Twilight replied a skeptical tone.
This doesn't sound like the headstrong rainbow dash is known as a mare that isn't prone to thinking things through as twilight monologue inside her head.
Rainbow dash replied “uh what's that supposed to mean”.
As lavender mare giggled in response “so what did the great teacher dash have planned,” spoken in a playful tone by twilight.
Rainbow Dash looks on with irritation cover her expressions “yes length it up Twi” said dash with an annoyed expression she continued “ok so let me explain my great plan,” said rainbow dash.
Twilight with a smile “I am not stopping you go on” said Twilight as she giggled
“Right,” Rainbow Dash said with calm expression flying down grab a book then look over to twilight “this is why I brought your books and the mud,” said dash in tone that was lifeless. Lacking smug tones twilight found so familiar with her friend.
With this Twilight replied he smile turn to dismay “I still don't get it dash with disheartened smile”.
Rainbow Dash smiled with an evil grin as she hovered in air both her hooves crossed, “for all these brain up there you're not all that sharp Twi”.
Twilight began to stare glaring at dash.
As Dash smirked, liking look she was giving her “let me continue you know this morning I throw one of your books on the ground” said dash.
“I follow” said twilight.
Dash pointed her hoof at Twilight “you dash through the air in ways I never seen you do before” as dash move her hooves in fast motion simulating what she saw “it made me wonder why,” said dash
“Then it hit me because your love for books is your passion just like flying is mine,” “when you fly for your books you're just like me” dash said with both hoofs point out in air with glee.
Twilight replied “I follow but what's with the mud” said twilight pointing a hoof at said mud as she remembering falling into it.
Rainbow Dash smile become winder “let me show you” Dash fly over pick up one of the books,
“Twi this is what the mud is for” as she pulls back her hoof and tightened her grip then shouts “think fast” toss book in air in the direction of mud
In slow motion, twilight look at dash with the expression you wouldn't
Dash nodding with the expression I would with an added grin.
That when twilight battle to save literature began little did she know it was so much more than that. As everything fade black as we drew into sky.
We cut away to a see red sphere falling that looked like drop of water if water was red from the purest white.

the lesson she should have forgotten ep1
Rainbow dash “think fast Twi!” said dash in playful tone as throw a book grab it with her hoof “now Twi show me what you got” said dash as she throw another one of her books with even more energy.
Princess twilight mind was racing “I know that there is no time to overthink this now,” she ready all four hoofs, “both old and forgotten of old Equestrian volume 1 and 2,” said twilight.
“I use these to have more in depth understand of equestrian history and they are flying straight for the mud,” “How dare you dash in danger such information” twilight said in her head as her eyes narrowed.
As her mind continued to race lavender mare start running and almost falling short of breath, looking up at them she sped up come up right under them as they fly over her ears.
she jumps as she turn midair pointing her hooves skyward grab them both with her hooves, as she fall into mud landing on her back spraying it everywhere on her.
Back her face her wings her tail lavender mare cover in mud head to hoof open her hoofs with both the books spotless she sighed and said “that was close,” Said twilight.
Rainbow Dash getting ready throw two more book but was shock as well speechless as she stopped dead in her tracks.
Jaw drop any lower it would hit the ground if dash was not flying it would have. “Twi I know you love book but come on Twi that just crazy,” said dash looking at spotless books in twilight hooves.
Empower from what twilight just did she throw two more with even more speed said this time “use your wings not just you hoofs and no magic,” shouted dash with excitement.
Princess twilight saw that dash was throwing even more even faster and saw only copy left of mare delight one of only books no pony ever return.
As twilight’s horn let up, she put tracking spell of on mare delight before this, So she could find the pony didn't return it “give them peace of her mind,” As twilight monologue in her head.
so she know that it was indeed mare delight “no more with” eyes filled with fire her main and tail turn into something akin to a flame thrower blazing from both ends.
Using her magic her horn glowing stopped she took hold both books with her as she heard loud “shout no cheating!” Then turn to dash to find her not there.
but then she saw a rainbow out corner of her eye with her pushing cloud over head in her hooves dash she booked a cloud making water rain down into her dousing the flames within twilight main and tail.
The Rainbow dash looking at twilight with disappointment “and you all call me a hot headed,”
“Twilight I am your teacher for day you have to follow my rules no magic twilight,” said dash
“So did that cool you off yet, dash said with authority at the snarling twilight with a rain cloud still pouring over her head drenching every part of her figure.
She saw dash disappointment clear and sincere, so twilight slowly calms herself down pound reflation to the word “I am your teacher" As dash continued talking you need to learn how to accept some losses no pain no gain ok Twi” said dash.
As twilight mind went to another place.
Remembering when Celestia sub as her magic teacher her as surprised one day at her school for gifted unicorns she just hard as dash was being.
Flashing back to that very lesson, As well cut away to time in past a class filled with fillies all shapes on seize with only one colt with only one filly raising her hoof making the teacher face hoof the stallion said to filly I have nothing laf… he was cut off by blinding light.
A large white Alicorns with a horn, and wings, appeared in blazing light in front of the filly with her hooves in place of their teacher who disappeared along with rest of her classmates.
We cut away all the fillies and stallion teacher all where teleport by golden magic aura into the main royal chamber.
Celestia leaned down gave gentle smile as she spoke “because of royal affair’s that had made me miss out on many of your private lesson twilight,” said Celestia in matter of fact tone to it as she continued “So let's make up for lost time” said Celestia with bright smile.
Filly twilight was jumping for joy bouncing around the room with red wooden walls filly desk with table for teacher in front where Celestia stood.
Circle all desk screaming “I'm gonna spend the day with Celestia screaming I’m gonna spend the day with Celestia,” Shouted filly twilight.
Larger white mare with wings and a horn elegantly replied “calm down little” said Celestia with twilight not completely oblivious to her words. Filly twilight coming to full stop, and turning to face her mentor
As twilight her stared at the large white Alicorns instead of responding, Filly twilight become intransigent with her teacher's flowing mane. That flowed like winds of a soft breeze “all most impossible given that we're inside a room with no window open,” Said filly twilight
Twilight wondered as she basked in her mentor beauty. “Twilight!” said Celestia who raised her voice with stone of authority gaining twilight undivided attention.
Now that Celestia gain the filly twilight attention she continued “this lesson when be short and to the point,” Celestia said with tone frankness that seem off to the filly
As Celestia continues “I hope this will help you as a mare when you’re older,” said Celestia
"You twilight my faithful student as will I hope you will never come to use it,” Celestia said with frankness
Then Celestia said inwardly “better yet don’t I even mind if you forget it,” as she closed her eyes within her mind “because I am simply clearing my conscience”.
Twilight never hoard her mentor speak in such dismissive way this worrying the filly with her serious stone she heard before but the coldness was unfamiliar and haunting.
Celestia noticed this changed her stone back the serene voice she used throughout all years of peace as mutter inwardly “slipping now when I am so close are we now”. Smile remembering Luna her all way saying that phrase,”
Celestia scolding herself “you even scared a filly you haven't done that in about two hundred years,” “did my nightmare with Luna revert me so deeply”.
As celesta was consumed with disappointment as she lower her head down into with clear expression sadness perch a pound her fetchers.

A smoky mist cover her whole muzzle in which the little filly couldn't see through, as celesta gave the filly a soft “Boo” blowing mist into the filly as Celestia shouted, as well momentary shocking the filly. Got ya she said with playful tone, which made small filly smile again.
“So Celestia what the lesson two day” she said plaster grin on muzzle smile wide up at her teacher hoping to make her smile filly twilight hoped.
To that she gave a chuckle said inwardly “I ruining perfect occasion,” then said she a loud “it's not everyday drop everything, and have a lesson with my most faithful student,” Celestia spoke with a smile
With that twilight straightened her back and increases her posture.
“The lesson for two day is acceptable losses,” Celestia said faking enthusiasm smile.
What twilight shouted “but don't want to lose” filly twilight respond conflicted tone, Twilight turning away feeling regretful about her outburst in front her idol and mentor.
In which Celestia found most relieving “so twilight you are willing considerate it” she spoke no one but herself. ,
Without raising her hoof “so what the pop quiz”. Cover her mouth with a hoof realizing she spoke out of turn.
Celestia smile gently holding back a smirk overlook that she didn’t raise her hoof she continued “let me explain by giving an example,” said
Celestia as she come around table In front of room.
As Celestia Embracing idea of breaking formality, of the roles that they shared by being anything but formal.

Celestia seeing her student shocked expression she took the opening, “well twilight sparkle what if you can only have one ice cream cone,” said Celestia gently.
“I ask you which one do you pick when can't have all the flavors” said Celestia as she waited for the filly to calm down, much to her surprised Twilight responded immediately with risk hoof.
As Celestia reply with nodding her head for her to continue, “You pick your favorite flavor because if can’t have all the flavors as well you experience is still the best” said twilight.
Celestia replied with joy energy that seem out character almost bouncing as she was cheering the answer “yes yes very good twilight” as she gave her a glowing smile.
Much to surprise of twilight she has never seen mentor act so odd like this before. Much less she didn't know being a good student gave her mentor such joys filly twilight feeling empowered from possibility her mentor heart was in her hooves.
Remember look on her teacher face early she prepare herself for next question but it never come.
So she waited for review of lesson at end of every one of Celestia…
Filly twilight looking on wait for her teacher to calm down as she deadpan “is this I am like all time around her,” more irritated with herself then her mentor.
Within time Celestia calm down and steeled her expressions.
Granting a smile to twilight face, With her mentor regaining the way about her that she has grown most a custom to, Celestia reflecting on how she was acting so foalish, “I apology twilight I had very bad dream seem bring back habits from my younger years “said Celestia
“And what you said lifted my spirits “as Celestia she smile gently.
Filly twilight reply “you look as if you haven't age a day,” twilight said with big grin.
Celestia replied “trying to get extra credit now are we,” “just because I slipping a bit my faithful student doesn’t mean,” said Celestia as she saw twilight started pouting give big watery eyes.
Celestia responded “Ok ok you grade is an A+” as Celestia giggled softly with hoof over her mouth and because fillies antics.
So what did we learn two day? Said Celestia with homerless expression of expectancy with an eyebrow raised.
Filly twilight responded “you can't have everything in life," "so hold to what is important to you” twilight said matter fact tone. With eyes close setting up properly, Filly twilight said with big grin knowing she got IT right.
"For most part" said Celestia got up was turning her head for door.
“With that will be on my way” Celestia said out loud “seem that I didn't fail with her like I failed with Luna”. “Who am I kidding,” “I didn't even try until was to late being so busy as to see what she was becoming,” “should I make the last push” as Celestia she monologue in her head.
“Just to make sure she is my faithful student” said Celestia as she gritted her teeth her tear started flowering as she lower her ears.
“But what about her other dreams why am I second guessing myself,” said inwardly Celestia.
Remembering her soulless words, “The lesson for two day is acceptable losses,”
“It’s Time for you two eat your own words you old mare” Celestia told herself.
“but she just a filly” as Celestia sigh stumping out her doubts like the day so long ago when she banish Luna to moon as her look of dread was replace with determination.
As Celestia stop walking towards the door turn her head slightly and spoke. “But remember today lesson my faithful student can't have everything in life never stress the small things within life and cherish these closest to you,” said Celestia faking sincerity.
“If you can't save them all settle for saving the one you cherish the most,” as memoirs of Luna flash in Celestia mind of her failing do just that. As she held back the flood of emotions that come with.
she know answer that would be given to such words planted in small young filly mind not even fully developed yet ,as she gritted her teeth as bunker down for what was to come.
As the small lavender mare dashed across twilight replied, with tears in her eyes feeling closer to her mentor her idol ever before, with Celestia opening up in way she never seen her do. Twilight knowing she alone stop her crying.
This gave the small filly the feeling meaning purpose and power! She didn’t actually possess as her small eyes narrow “I will protect her” twilight said out loud.
Celestia hearing this she knew the seed was planted her young filly mind “now it's up to her show filly everything was going to be ok” Celestia told herself.
As battle with Celestia mind continued “she need not worry about me believing that didn't need her help so deeply. Said Celestia inwardly.
As Celestia try motivate herself Show twilight that she was strong mare, and she need not put such bourdon a pound herself” Inside of her mind she said. “Tell her that don’t need protect me I will protect you” said Celestia closed her eyes.
But solemnly Celestia never spoke these words.
As small twilight ran through events of her life “I had a lot of magic after the exams but this first time I change anything without use any type of spell or incantation or charm”. As twilight told herself “I Was the one who stop your tear my mentor” she said within her mind as she held one of Celestia hoofs.
As tear starting flowing again with renewed force small filly started hugging Celestia titer bearing her muzzle deeper into Celestia coat.
As filly twilight continued close her eyes trying to stop the flow of tears, as twilight tries to get control of herself, “This is not the twilight after
passing the exam nor is it the twilight that come before that,” said twilight in a proud tone.
"It was me who is Celestia's faithful student the pony closest to her is you, “twilight said out loud.
As twilight wipe her tears away look up at Celestia who was not returning filly’s feeling at time just letting her vent.
As twilight look up to Celestia hoping get a response.
“The pony I cherish the most is you and you are my favorite flavor Celestia!” shouted twilight with despair.
“You the thing I cherish most is you princess Celestia so try only hold onto what is important but to me nothing more import to me then you Celestia,” Said twilight
Filly was stricken with sadness when Celestia turn her head look up to sky seemly crushing fillies’ hopes of the hope her feeling being returned in kind.
As Celestia said so soft that wouldn't be justified as a whisper “Luna plz forgive me for what I am about to do, “said Celestia as she look up unknowingly looking up straight at the hooded pony watching her with it crystal ball.
In grand ball room with five big thrones pony shrouded under a hood with muzzle, full of decay as his flesh rots away, you see glare with eye full of hatred “you dare ask for her forgiveness you blazing whore” as the hooded corps looking pony in shrouded darkness scream. As it throw the crystal ball into wall making crater, and a whirlwind shearing the chamber of the ball throne room making all, odd and end go flying about.
As the hooded pony painted heaving from the anger as another pony walk into the room said just a foe more years, and are princess of night will be free calm down Rise with that hooded pony clasped into dust leaving nothing but rages after burning all his anger.
As other pony walk up pick up the crystal ball still spinning in place embedded into the wall ,as the shrouded figure trotted over and extended a blazing golden shimmering hoof from under it cloak with single hoof it stop crystal ball and whirlwind made in its wake, that was still spinning as everything spinning in the air drop to the ground.
As hood figure look into crystal ball, as we saw the reflection of hooded figure with it muzzle incase in darkness only thing could be clearly seen was it eyes made of hellfire.
As it looked into ball with a grin and shrouded figure said “evil mares like you Celestia make me wonder who the real monsters really are,” as hooded figure eyes narrowed looking into the crystal ball an hour later “I wonder if there are maggots under your pure white coat” hooded pony said lifelessly as it put the crystal ball back onto its stand at the center of ball throne room.
As we cut away
screams echo in hallways painted under a veil of silver glass.
