Chapter 1. Pre Orakel
This used to be a place, a place where Trust, Earnest and Friendship dominated as the main source of Life.
Ponies and other creatures alike lived together in harmony. There even was a time when Changelings where integrated in the pony community and Diamond Dogs agreed to help the ponies redesign their weaponry to be more advanced than ever before.
Powerful machinery where created, weapons like Cannons and portable shooting weaponry known as Guns where invented. It was a great invention, it helped to defend the kingdom from intruders from the eastern side of Equestria.
But only used by the trained warriors And the Equestrian Guards and Protectors, it was a crime for a regular pony citizen to own a gun. If they are threatened by an shady guy in the dark, unicorns are allowed to perform a magic spell of any kind, pegasus to use their wings for their advantage and regular earth ponies are allowed to use their strong hooves to either run away or fight back, depending on the situation their in.
The rulers of Equestria where once powerful sisters, referred to as Princess Celestia and her Sister Princess Luna. Their powers were great, Legend has it that the one controlled the sun and the other the rising of the moon.
After their death of a sickness, the main power of control was given to an Alicorn Princess known as Twilight Sparkle, a former student of Celestia. Twilight was once a regular unicorn, but after seeking knowledge of the world and beeing loyal to her mentor, her faith and destiny where choosen by an unknown force. She became an Alicorn Princess, a sign of royalty.
She possessed all knowledge of the world, her library with exotic and rare books where her main source of information. Collected from all over the world, it held secrets that no ordinary pony may know.
Dark Magic spells that where only used if absolutely necessary, a map of hidden treasures yet to be found, personal Information of all citizen of Equestria…Only Royalties and higher authorities where allowed to read them.
But having all control and power handed over to one Princess, it would not last forever. She did the best she could to make her citizens proud and to protect the land of Equestria from eastern attackers.
The land was divided into two parts: Equestria which was controlled by Princess Twilight, a place where peace and friendship took place and the other part, located northern, a place where wildlife took over and the roots of a certain tree began to grow. Mostly referred to "Everfree" in the past was now another kingdom, ruled by an oddly stripped pony like creature, who was said to be a master in making magic potions and brews with special powers.
She didn't had her own palace like Twilight, but an overgrown tree which reached high into the sky was her main domain, a place that is protected by many kinds of creatures who only attacked ponies with evil intentions, such as the eastern ones.
She and Twilight where Friends, Friends who worked together when help is needed or if a new law needed approval. They traded their own findings and researches, planned the border defenses together and kept the land of Equestria a safe and clean place from any kind of intruders. You could almost describe them as "soul sisters" even if their not related to each other in any way.
Sisters or not, their duty where clear given as the two rulers have to protect this holly and beautiful land known as Equestria from any kind of danger or doom that may have awoken.
The land was once a land of blooms of flowers, harvests and beautiful insects and animals. But since the passing of the two legendary godlike Princesses, all it's magic where lost, just vanished like a feather carried away by a wind of gust.
The land of Equestria slowly turned into a deserted land, every living plant slowly dying out. Twilight and her friend from the roots couldn't explain this strange occurrence.
Where the gods mad at them? Did the world end? Question raged through their heads, with no answers to be found.
The situation was getting worse and worse every day passing. Food and other valuable resources where getting rare. Prizes for food where nearly impossible to pay. From once a beautiful kingdom with everyone enough to feed, the first ponies suffered from starvation.
The criminal rate went up high with many robberies beeing reported on food stores like the Sugarcube corners or the old and famous Applejacks apple barn.
The first murders where reported, weapons where illegally smuggled among the pony citizens and the fear of Life and Death grew with each passing moment. It felt like we went back in time, in the middle ages where life was rough for the poor.
As a last resort, the two rulers locked themselves In the royal library with all the secrets and answers buried deep in the mass of books and scrolls. If they can't find an answer here, than it can be found nowhere.
They both split their work up to save some time, Twilight was responsible for the books to search for an answer and the Stripped Pony, referred by the name of "Zecora", a rare species known as a Zebra, was responsible for scrolls and any kind of documents she could find.
Hours have been spent, searching for an explanation of this incident, no useful information could be found.
Before they gave up on the search, Zecora noticed an unusual book sitting on top of a shelf, seeming to be untouched.
The title of the book reads "ZION".
It was a thick book, layered in a golden and purple cover. The pages seemed old, as a slight force would be enough to turn them into dust.
Some lines from the book reads:
"A Golden Age may be present, but beware of Times of dark spirits and misfortune among your future.
Once the goddess of Sun passes away, the energy of nature misbehaves.
Without a ruler of the night, the mood changes drastically.
Without either in bound, reality crumbles in existence.
Spirits don't vanish into near nothingness, only their body's do.
They wander around until they find what they desire the most.
ZION, the place of Holly spirits and peace, everything they desire.
Only if you find the Sons of Babel, the path of the gods may open upon you."
More text was written in a golden like ink:
"To open anther realm of your world, find the ancient flute hidden in the eastern temple of the Annunaki tribe and play this melody:"

Twilight and Zecora looked at each other. They knew what they had to do to.
And so, the quest of ZION began, it was a long and dangerous road, but the only way of bringing back peace and order to Equestria.
