Mike slowly woke up and crawled out of his bed, his security guard clothes hanging on the back of his desk chairs back. He walked over to the clothing and put it on but when he looked around he noticed something that made his heart skip a beat. His hat was not with his clothes.
He was about to go into freak out mode when he felt a small shock come from his back and he looked back to see a tentacle like appendage coming from it and it held his hat. He let out a breath and the appendage put the hat on Mike’s head and retreated back into his back.
‘Thanks Chica.’ He said in his head and felt a small warmth come from his head, this happening when Chica was happy. He then fixed his tie and walked out of his room and down the stairs to the living room. He looked around and saw the house was empty, exception being the sleeping Gilda.
He sighed and walked out the door and was about to take off but his wings went stiff. He looked back and saw a small trail of black tendrils holding them still. He was about to ask Chica what she was doing but then he heard the flapping of wings and looked up to see Leather Wing flying towards him.
The tendrils shot back into his back while Mike waved at Leather Wing who waved back. She landed onto the sidewalk and Mike jogged over to meet her there. “Hey Wing, how was weather duty?”
She said with a smile, “It was okay, it was scheduled to be a clear night sky so I was planning on taking my lunchbreak now to see the clear skies.” Mike nodded and glimpsed at the sky, seeing the millions of stars and the large moon. “Would you like to join me Mike?”
Mike looked back at Leather Wing who had a small blush on her dark fur coat. He then smiled, “Sure thing Wing, lets head over to the jeweler and we can hang out on the roof.” She grew a large smile and nodded. They both spread their wings and took off into the night sky into the direction of the shop…
Not noticing the small little filly behind them.
Mike and Leather Wing lay on the roof of the Jewelers shop and were just looking up at the stars. Mike could feel Chica in his head feeling tired and he relaxed enough for her to sleep. “Glad you invited me for sky watching Wing.” Mike said with a smile which caused Leather Wing to mirror the smile.
“Its no problem, just thought me and you could spend some time together.” She said with a smile and small blush. She shuffled a little closer to Mike, him not noticing. “So Mike...I’ve been wondering…” She looked away a bit while Mike looked over at her with a raised eyebrow.
“What is it Wing?” He asked in his calm voice that made Wing shiver a bit. “Are you cold?” Mike asked and when she didn’t answer he just rolled his eyes and sat up a bit to spread his left wing and let it drape over Wing who let out a small eep. “If your cold then you just needed to tell me.”
Leather Wing felt her face go red while Mike continued to look up at the sky. She kept looking at him, his eyes giving a slight white glow, his stone like skin shining from the moonlight and his eyes, usually filled with irritation and sorrow, now filled with calmness and peace.
“Mike…” He looked over at her and raised an eyebrow. “I...I wanted to ask you something…”
“What is it Wing?” He asked.
“Mike...would...would you-” She kept stuttering and Mike just gave her a worried look.
“Wing, what are you-”
“Will you go out with me!?” She suddenly burst out.
Mike looked at her with wide eyes and a dropped jaw.
“W-What?” He asked in an almost whisper.
Gilda slowly woke up to the sound of the door opening and she guessed it was either Leather Wing or Mike coming home from work and was about to go back to sleep when she suddenly felt something cold and sharp being pushed onto her back. She quickly jumped into the air and looked down to see a knife stuck to where she was just sleeping.
She wiped her head up and saw a shocking sight, a filly with white fur and a golden mane and tail. She was wearing rags as clothes and was covered in dirt, but the worst part was the look she had. A large grin with two pupiless eyes and seemed to glow a slight purple.
“What are you doing!?” Gilda screeched at the filly but all she did was giggle and pulled out another knife, this one more jagged. She then lunged at Gilda with surprising speed and stuck the dagger into Gilda’s wing causing her to let out a scream of pain and knock the filly into the wall.
Gilda looked down at the knife and was about to pull it out when suddenly she felt a searing pain on her tail. He looked down to see it was on fire, which she quickly put out and looked back at the filly with pure rage on her face, not noticing the little filly’s hand smoking.
Gilda jumped at the Filly with her talons stretched out to maul the filly when the filly suddenly thrusted her hands out and a ball of fire shot out and right into Gilda’s face. Gilda screeched and landed on the floor with a thump while she cried out from the pain from the stab wound and the scorching of her face.
She looked up and her eyes widened at the filly who hand the dagger from the couch in her hands. “Why...are you doing this…” Gilda groaned out and the filly let out a giggle while raising the knife.
“The purple man said to.”
Mike and Leather Wing were both sitting on the edge of the jeweler with their legs dangling in the air. They had been silent for the past few minutes after Leather Wing had asked Mike out. He had been silent and Leather Wing had been on the verge of tears at the silence.
“Mike, please say something, anything.” Leather Wing begged, worried of not only not being with Mike, but losing him as a friend. “I’m s-sorry if I made y-you mad but can’t w-we still be friends!?” She had tears going down her face at this point and Mike looked like a statue.
Leather Wing was about to burst into tears when she felt an arm wrap around her shoulders and she was pulled into a sideways hug by Mike who had a slight blush. “Look Wing...I...I’m not really...good with this kind of stuff, romance I mean, and...well I just don’t know if I would be a good...boyfriend.”
He said this with his eyes a bit downcast. “But...hey I’ll give it a shot.” He looked down at Leather with a smile and was not prepared for her to tackle him into a hug and her lips to be place on his. They laid there for a minute before Leather Wing removed her lips from his and giggled at his wide eyes and burning blush.
“Okay then...didn’t see that coming.” Mike breathed out and Leather WIng gave a chuckle before standing and holding a hand out for Mike. He grabbed it and she hefted him onto his feet. “Well, glad to know you like the short ones.” He joked as he only made it to her neck in height.
“Just means I can cuddle you easier.” She rebuttled with a smile causing Mike to roll his eyes. They both took off into the night sky and towards their house to tell Gilda the news of their relationship.
They soon landed on the stairs to the house Mike opened it and was about to walk in when Chica suddenly made his freeze in place and spoke through his mouth. “Be careful.” It was strange as it was his voice with the faint sound of her’s. He looked at Leather Wing, “Hold on Wing.” She nodded with confusion and Mike slowly entered the house.
He looked around and his eyes were wide open at the destruction that had come to the house, scorch marks and broken furniture. “Gilda!? Where are you!?” He called out and started to search the house only to find nothing. “Wing! You can come in...but be careful in here.”
Her heard her hoofsteps and then her gasp as she must have seen the destruction. He started walking towards her when suddenly he tripped on a random string and fell on his face and something landed on him with a thud and let out a yelp from the weight of whatever had fallen on him.
Then he heard Leather Wing scream.
He quickly pushed what was on top of him and looked over to what was on him and almost had a heart attack at what he saw and he felt bile rise in his throat. Gilda lay there, with her beak ripped off and her wings tied in a knot and she was covered in so much blood.
And her eyes.
They were gone.
Mike slowly grabbed Gilda’s head and looked into the two sockets with tears trailing down his face. Leather Wing dropped next to him and cradled his head while he let out sobs at the lose of his friend. Then they heard it, hoof steps coming from behind them, causing them to look back and see a filly and in her hands were two amber eyes.
“Looking for these?” She asked with a sick grin and wide, pupils eyes. Leather Wing could feel her own tears trail down her face but felt Mike shaking more than he was and looked down to see him glaring at the filly with pure rage and then saw it happen, black tendrils crawled over his eyes until his eyes were fully black and his pupils a bright white.
He slowly stood up and glared at the filly, his eyes seemed to crackle energy that shot down to his fist. “You...You did this…” His voice was more demonic and she could hear another voice, a child's. The filly giggled and nodded and then threw the eyes behind her and pulled out a jagged, bloody dagger.
Mike opened his mouth and Leather thought he was going to roar but instead she saw his mouth was pure black with an extra set of teeth inside and he let out a screech that shattered the windows. He then launched himself at the filly with a raised fist, with the filly trying to dodge only for him to spin and use his much longer legs to hit her in the side.
She let out a scream as a crack echoed throughout the house and her grin finally dropped into a frown of pain. Mike landed on the floor and quickly ran towards the filly and grabbed her by the head and his hand seemed to be inside a large black hand that was bigger then his hand.
“Now,” He growled, “Who made you do this.” She whimpered and then screamed as Mike squeezed her head.
“The Purple Man said to!” She screamed and Mike raised an eyebrow.
“And where is this ‘Purple Man’?” He asked.
“I-In the frozen n-north!” She cried and suddenly started to spasm in his grip. Mike let her go and she continued to twitch until a purple wisp flowed from her eyes and out of the house. The filly slowly vanished and the last thing he saw of her was her two dull blue pupils. The house was silent with only the sound of a crying Leather Wing echoing throughout the house.
Slowly Chica pulled herself together, all the black energy Mike had was gone and he slowly walked over to Leather Wing and kneeled down to pull her into a hug, which she graciously accepted. They just kneeled there, Mike with a blank expression and Leather Wing crying into his chest.
Slowly the purple wisp slipped into a larger crack and into a frozen golden green suit. Inside a mutilated Vincent;s grin grew larger as he saw what had happened through the filly’s eyes. “Well Sombrero-
“Sombra.”
Sombra, looks like our little night guard is angered enough, how is it powering you?
“It is well, I should be able to free that crazy chaos lord in due time.”
Vincent giggled once more while the suit shuttered.
“Oh shut up you damn suit.” Vincent growled and it let out a whimper while going silent.
“Soon...it’ll be Foxy’s turn.”
Deep in the Canterlot Garden, a large statue stood, a very tall and skinny women wearing a vest and long jeans while on one hand was a talon like glove and the other a more lion like one and her feet had a reptile boot and a brown boot. On her back were two wings, one like a pegasus and the other, a thestrals and her hair was long and wild.
Hugging her leg was a filly with a mane as wild as her mothers, only her mothers was not as tangled as hers, and a small hat with a propeller on it. Her eyes were wide opened showing how they were swirled and she wore a shirt and skirt with straps on the skirt that were over her shoulders, and on her legs were two striped stockings.
And finally, laying on its stomach with a sad expression was a monsters looking fox with a large hook on one hand and a clawed hand on the other. It had large, sharp teeth on a jagged looking muzzle and had torn shorts and two sharp feet and on one eye was an eyepatch. The strange part was unlike the other two, its other eye was open and glowed white, hardly noticeable.
On a pedestal was a dark brown sign that read:
