//-------------------------------------------------------// A Child's Insanity: Behind the Mask -by Infamy- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The First Fight //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The First Fight Nicholas Horseman, a small 9 year old, lay in his cell, his hands riddled with cuts, blood and tears. He watched as Changelings passed his cell, some sneering at him and some giving him sly grins that made him want to curl into a ball. He watched one pass, black chitien, no hair, strange tails, blue insect eyes and wings with a sword like horn on their heads. He then looked at the small water pool that his jailers had said was his ‘drinking and pissing’ water. His pale face had cuts and bruises on it and one of his eyes were swollen and had not color, just a milky white. The other eye was a stormy-grey that seemed to rain his tears, the other being as dry as a desert. He slowly stood and saw his body. He was unhealthily skinny and the rags he wore draped over him like a blanket. His hair was also long, a pure black that reached his back. He then walked over to his ‘bed’, a stone slab with a pillow filled with stones. He was just about to lay down for another night of restless sleep when he suddenly heard the cell door open and two changeling guards stepped in, both holding a Hailbord made of green wood and a strange black metal. “Come with us creature, its time you earned your keep.” The changeling spoke in a somewhat buzzing like voice and his partner suddenly grabbed him with his hand and roughly pulled Nicholas out into the hallway. He was then pushed forward and they pointed their weapons at him. “Get moving.” The other spoke and Nicholas shakily nodded and started to walk down the halls. He lay in the tight, cramped box the two changelings had forced him into, wondering what was about to happen to him. He felt the tears in his eye slowly drip down once again but let out a yelp when he saw light start to slip into the box in front of him. The wall slid into the ground and he was almost blinded by the green light that hit his eye. He slowly crawled out and almost passed out at what he saw. He was in a coliseum, changeling’s all around him in seats, cheering as they saw what he guessed a fight about to start. And he was one of the fighters. Suddenly a booming female voice echoed through the whole arena, “Greetings my subjects! We are here today to watch this creature be slaughtered by one of the nymphs so she may grow!” Nicholas slowly looked up and saw, in a box like from a coliseum from earth, was Queen Venom, his captor and Queen of the changelings or so he would guess from her name. He then heard a door open and looked across from him and saw a simple changeling child walk out. The moment she saw him, she let out a hiss and tried to run for him but a small leash was around her neck. Holding it was a more fancy looking changeling, a long yellow mane and a shiny chitien. The women smiled and waved at the changelings who cheered for her nymph. “Now, since this creature seems to be rare, we shall give him a weapon to battle with.” Suddenly a fire burst next to him and he let out a yelp and jumped away, causing the changelings to laugh. Finally the fire stopped and laying there was a simple wooden club. “Now, enough talk! Let the battle begin!” Queen Venom commanded and there was a buzz of cheers as the changeling holding back the nymph let the leash go and the nymph instantly ran towards Nicholas. He let out a cry of fear and quickly grabbed the club and held it out in front of him like a shield. It did not work as Nicholas would have hoped as the nymph ducked and then thrusted up, her horn hitting the club out of his hands and tackling him to the ground. He let out a scream and started to hit the nymph but his punches did nothing more than irritate the nymph who let out a hiss and bared her fangs and sunk them into his arm. He let out a wail in pain and frantically hit the nymph, catching her in the large eye causing her to let go of his arm and yelp in pain. Nicholas took the opening he saw and put both of his feet onto her underbelly and pushed up, causing her to fly into the air. He scrambled from the cold stone ground and started to run from the nymph but he heard a strange buzzing sound. He turned his head around and almost let out a whimper when he saw the nymph using her wings to fly towards him. He pushed his legs harder and felt his heart stop when he suddenly fell to the ground. He heard the buzzing getting closer and shut his eyes tight from the dust in his eye and he felt around the ground for anything to protect himself with. Suddenly he felt his hand grab something and he quickly rolled over and swung whatever it was he had in his hand. There was a loud crack and thump and the buzzing stopped and there was a loud gasp .He slowly opened his eyes and saw the club was broken and had a green goo in the end. He then noticed the limp nymph on the ground and almost puked at what he saw, the broken head of the club had broken off in the nymph’s head...which was across the arena, the body right in front of him, leaking the green changeling blood. There was suddenly the sound of clapping and all the changelings and Nicholas looked up. Queen Venom stood from her throne and had a large, sick grin on her muzzle. “What a grand show, usually the changeling would have killed you with her venom, but you seem to be immune.” She chuckled, “You will make for an interesting fighter.” Her horn glowed purple and he felt his mind go cloudy and fell to the ground. “Take him back to his cell...and give him some bread as his reward.” Was all he heard from the Queen before he fell into sleeps cruel embrace. Nopony saw the cloaked man on top of the ceiling, a pure white mask in his hands. He then said in a voice that leaked insanity… “Oh the chaos this being will bring, Celestia and Luna will surely be surprised, not to mention the Element bearers.” “He then raised his talons, a glass of chocolate milk replacing the mask in his lion paw. And with a snap of his talons, he was gone. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: The Mask //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: The Mask 4 years Nicholas lay in his cell, just staring at his wall. There was nothing on the wall that would make the wall interesting. He slowly blinked his eye, his blind eye having an indent in it from a fight two years ago. Nicholas let out a roar of rage and swung an upper-cut into the teenage minotaur jaw, causing a loud snap. The bull and goat hybrid let out a scream causing Nicholas to smile at the show of weakness, the changelings letting out cheers at the minotaur’s pain and the Queen grinning at the power she held over the human boy. Suddenly the minotaur, in a fit of fear, swung his sword. time seemed to slow down, the sword slowly cutting into Nicholas’s blind eye sending ripples of pain through it. the sword finally stopped cutting and flew into the air, the blood that exploded from Nicholas’s eye covering the sword and hilt causing the minotaur to lose his grip. The whole crowd was quiet and the Queen was worried that her play thing had been killed. That was, until he suddenly rushed the bull and grabbed his bottom and upper jaw and started to pry them open. The changelings cheers shook the colosseum and the minotaur cried until his entire head split in two. Blood shot from his head and neck, covering Nicholas’s grinning face in dark blue blood. He then pushed his head into the mess and bite a large chunk of meat and devoured it. Changelings laughed and cheered at the show of maliciousness and through glowing mushrooms at him. He held up the minotaur’s corpse in victory and let out a crazed laugh. Later Queen Venom had healed his eye, leaving a scar on it making him look like a sick monster. And he loved it. The flashback ended but all he did was slowly blink. He suddenly heard his door open and looked over, causing the two guard to flinch. They didn’t say anything, just stepped back and let him through before going back to their normal duties. Nicholas walked down the quiet halls, passing cell after cell. Most of them held creatures a guard had called ‘ponies’. Some of them had wings while others had horns and some of them had none. He glanced at one of the horned ones, white fur, purple mane that had a curl to it but was somewhat messed up and on her hips (All pony prisoners were stript. Made it easier to drain love was what he was told) were three diamonds. He just ignored her and walked to the large iron door that lead to the arena. He pushed it open and was greeted by thousands upon thousands of cheering changelings. He walked into the arena, the door behind him closing with a shudder. He then watched as Queen Venom stood and raised her hands. “Greetings my loyal subjects! Today we have a special match for the anniversary of my birth!” There was a buzz of cheers. “Today we have my champion, War!” She held a hand towards Nicholas who let out a roar at the audience, causing them to cheer. “And his special opponent!” The door across from Nicholas suddenly opened and out stepped a new type of pony Nicholas had never seen. She, by the size of her bust he could tell it was a girl, was navy blue with black splotches on her hips and a crescent moon. Her mane seemed to move in a non-existent wind. “Princess Luna!” The crowd buzzed in excitement and Nicholas was wondering why. ‘What is so special about a pony with both wings and a horn?’ the child in him wondered but the moment he heard the Queen start the match, the child in him was instantly silenced. Nicholas slowly raised a finger to his white eye and plunged it into it. He was now War. He felt the pain run through his body but so did adrenalin. He let out a roar and ran straight at the pony who was shocked at what she had witnessed but quickly shook her head and her horn glowed a dark blue and a bolt of lightning shot out. War jumped and it struck the ground under him. The moment he landed, he picked up a handful of dirt and through it into the ponies eyes, causing her to let out a yelp and rub her eyes. He quickly took the opportunity and punched her in the stomach. Instead of his hand and arm bursting through her stomach, he just caused a small creak. Luna let out a gasp and quickly grabbed her attackers arm and flipped him into the air before flying into the air and kicking him higher and repeating the kick until he hit the forcefield Queen Venom held, shocking him and causing him to shriek in pain. He slowly peeled of the force field and landed on the ground with a groan. Luna landed next to him and smirked. “That was much more easier than Discord made it sound.” She suddenly summoned a white mask. “Now to put this on you, you little monster.” She leaned down and smashed the mask onto his face. At first nothing happened, he just lay on the ground groaning. Then the mask started to change color, the base turning into a dark, almost black, grey, Crimson flowing down the pure black eyes and to the rusty, sharp tooth smile that formed. Finally a large crack formed were his blind eye was and a aure started to flow from it. He suddenly lunged for her and she teleported away. Unknown to the other changelings, there was a flash in their dungeon and a certain white unicorn was free as well. War slowly looked around and his vision landed on Queen Venom and the teeth parted to show a long, snake-like tongue slither out and lick its lips. Discord laid on a couch, sipping glass from chocolate milk when Rarity Belle and Luna appeared, both clothed. “Discord, will you please explain why I had to put a silly mask on that...thing?” Luna questioned and Discord looked at her with a large grin. “Why my dear Lulu, it was to free him from that dastardly place.” Luna raised an eyebrow at him. “Wait, you mean to say we let that...that...ruffian out!” Rarity yelled and Discord chuckled and then pulled out a megaphone and said into it. “YES!” Luna glared at Discord and her horn glowed. “Then I shall go and dispose of it myse-” She didn’t get to finish her sentence before the mountain that housed the changelings exploded, flames spewing from the top and smoke slowly licking the skies. “What in the name of Faust!?” Luna screamed and watched as something jumped from the flames and farther away. “So, what was that plan again hmmm?” Discord mused with a grin. Deep in his crazed mind though, he said with a sad smile, “Please be careful Nicholas, don’t be a fool with that mask like Starswirl. Make Celly happy, be the one she needs...and if you can...save my daughters from their self destruction." Meanwhile inside the mask, two large crystal glowed. One a light blue, the other a dark red started to crack and one eye in each crystal opened, both pure black with the blue having a blue pupil and the other a red and they both spoke at once. "Freedom~" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Meeting //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Meeting Celestia cried over the small bundle in her arms. Her mane a soft, bright pink that hung over her face and the bundle of misery she held. She cried and grieved over the small boy of the colt in her grasp, the tears dripping onto the lifeless creature with the only thing he had was his mothers white coat and his fathers two mismatch horns. Who wouldn’t be sad? Holding your own sons corpse can cause quite the misery. Celestia sat in her office, her mane a pattern of pink blue and green. But unlike when in the presence of important figures, her mane was cascaded down her back and somewhat in front of her shoulder and rested on her amble bust. She wore a simple white dress and golden jewelry. She looked down at the latest offer from another greedy noble and she just let out a scoff and denied the offer. She then let out a sigh and leaned back into her plush chair and rubbed her temples. Suddenly she felt a magical signal heading for her office and saw a blue crescent moon glowed in front of her desk and in a flash of light, Luna stood there with a worried look. “Sister, we have a problem.” Celestia could feel the beginning of a headache forming. “What is it Luna?” She asked and Luna gulped and took in a shaky breath. “Tia...Discord was able to trick me and Rarity into helping a creature escape the grasp of a changeling hive and it...it...it radiated Chaos and Disharmony...like a draconequus!” Celestia’s eyes widened and she could feel sweat form on her forehead. “Sister...Discord found a human.” Thats the last thing Celestia heard before passing out. Light sank into the two black holes of the mask that lay on top of a certain human teen. That same teen let out a small groan and slowly sat up, the mask sliding down his face and onto his lap. He slowly reached up and rubbed his working eye but left the other alone. He slowly got to his feet, grabbing the mask, and looked around. He was in a large orange orchard, the bright colored fruit seemed to intrance him as he ran over to the nearest tree he could get to and picked one and quickly devoured it. He felt the orange slid down his throat but when he thought it would enter his stomach, he just felt more hungry. He let out a low growl before grabbing another orange and taking a bite. When he swallowed the same thing happened and he felt a small ball of rage swirl inside him and a heat build up in his chest and he let out a huff and turning towards the east and stomping away, not noticing the floating grey smoke dissipating from where he just was. He continued the walk towards the east and finally noticed something that could lead him to civilization. A dirt road that split in three directions could be seen and there was also a sign that pointed towards the roads. One read ‘southfield’ the second was ‘northfield’ and the last read ‘Farm’. Nicholas read over the signs and decided that the farm would most likely hold somepony. He walked for an hour or so before he heard the screams and he recognised that scream. It was the scream of fear, the scream of helplessness. The scream of a victim. He grew a large smile and dashed off towards the sound and saw it was coming from a large orange barn and a wolf made of wood red wood was trying to beat the door down. The creature had a slender barrel and its legs were longer than the wolfs he had fought in the arena. He then felt his instincts take over and let his mouth split into a grin before plunging his finger into his dead eye, sending shots of pain and adrenalin through his body. He let out a roar towards the wolf who snapped his heads towards War but didn’t even get a chance to growl before his body was launched into the air with a well placed kick. The wolf let out a yelp and slammed into the ground but quickly got up and growled at the small but strong human. It let out a snarl and sprinted towards him, surprising War at the speed the wolf had. His surprise quickly turned to instinct and he waited for the beast to get close before pulling his fist back and upper cutting it. The wolf yelped but recovered quickly enough to see the two outstretched hands grab its head and a foot be placed on its shoulder. It then felt its head being pulled and its neck slowly tour off and the body fell to the ground, leaking tree sap onto the grass. War grinned madly and felt his eye slowly seal up and the adrenalin slowly wear off and he let out a sigh. He then looked over to the barn door and called out in a young voice, “Its safe!” He waited for an answer and was greeted by the door slowly opening and a mare poke her head out. She had a dark orange coat and light red mane with a few pink stripes in them. She was wearing a black T-shirt and long blue jeans and her left ear was pierced. When she saw Nicholas and the dead timberwolf she put two and two together and a large smile formed on her muzzle. “You...saved me?” She asked with a small sob. Nicholas looked at the mare and raised an eyebrow at the show of sadness. He just answered with a nodded and was surprised when the mare tackled him into the ground. He was about to snap her neck but she just nuzzled her muzzle into his neck and cried. Nicholas just stood as still as he could and tried not to sneeze as her mane tickled his nose. ‘What do I do? This has never happened in the Arena!’ Snap her neck! Bite her throat out! Stab her back! Do it War! No! You know what to do! Hold her! Comfort her! Do it Nicholas! You are a killer War! A monster! Act like it and end her! Nicholas, you are no monster or killer! You are a person who is needed! He listened to the two female voices and felt a headache form in his head until...he slowly wrapped his arms around the mare and slowly rubbed her back. She cried harder while whimpering gratitude towards Nicholas. Soon though she started to calm down until she finally stopped and climbed off him while wiping her eyes. “I-Im sorry, I’m not usually that...emotional” She said with a small chuckle. He just gave her a small smile. Tell her your name. Or just kil- Say ‘kill her’ and I will slap you. Bitch There was suddenly a loud crack. Ow! That hurt! I warned you. “My name is… War! Nicholas! ...Mask, my name is Mask. Its nice to meet you.” She smiled and held out a hand which he shook. “My name is Babs Seeds and...well I would be a bit smaller but...do you know what poison joke is?” Mask shook his head, “Then...nevermind. Please come in, I wouldn’t want my saver to leave without a gift.” She gave a giggle and walked inside a house that had orange wood as a wall and a red roof. She wants the D Do I need to slap you again? No ma’am. Thats what I thought. The interior of the house gave a very homey feeling, with family photos of dozens of ponies and the house itself had orange wallpaper. She led Mask over to a red couch that had a glass table in front of it and a fireplace in the corner of the room. He then heard hoofsteps heading towards him and looked over to see Babs walking into the living room with a tray of orange slices and orange juice. She set the tray down and Mask nodded a thanks before taking an orange slice and popping it into his mouth  and swallowing. Just like with the oranges he had devoured before, the moment it got to his stomach it seemed to disappear. He let out an unknotest growl and grabbed the glass of orange juice and put it to his lips. NO! DON’T! He almost dropped the glass when he heard the voice and sat it down. He then looked at Babs and saw her looking at his hand. He raised his eyebrow and looked where she looked and finally noticed that throughout the whole ordeals he had been holding on to the mask. “Whats with the mask?” She asked and he started to think of an excuse for the deadly mask. “Its...a family heirloom, my family make masks and this is the first one I made.” He said with a small smile while showing...the completely different mask. The mask was pure white with a smile for the mouth and two eyes that showed joy. Your welcome. He shook his head and Babs smiled. “That must mean a lot to you…” She slowly grew a somber look. “What's wrong Babs?” Mask asked and she grew a more troubled look. “Its...my parents. They left a while ago to go and get the cure for the poison joke...that was three months ago, after a family reunion we were at.” Tears slowly dripped from her lime green eyes. “They were kidnapped by a pack of diamond dogs and...sweet Celestia I miss them so much.” She held her head in her hands and cried. Mask felt a fire build up in his chest and let out a growl. He suddenly stood up and Babs looked at him with confusion. “Where are they?” He asked in a more...demonic voice. “I-In the diamond hollow mines, in town-” She didn’t even get to ask one question before Mask burst from the house and towards the large town that looked like Manhattan but more...ponified. But he didn’t pay attention, only one thing was on his mind. ‘Kill Them’ //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Two Deity's //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Two Deity's Nicholas smiled as he looked down at the small puppy and rubbed her head. The puppy yipped and licked Nicholas’s hand. The small animal caused a ball of joy to grow inside Nicholas and he gave a small giggle. Joy can cause grand things, even something as simple as a puppy can bring it out. After asking many snobs and beggars, Mask found himself at the entrance of the Diamond Hollow Mines. It was at the city limits and many of the ponies he asked would give him a look as if he was crazy. Well you kind of are. Mask growled at the voice and shook his head before looking around the area the mine was in. The ground itself was a lifeless brown and nothing but a few dying trees dotted the surface but there were boulders and mountains of stone everywhere. He then looked at the mine itself which was really just a large cave with wooden support beams holding the top open. He gave a sniff and smelt something akin to wet dog which caused him to almost coagh at the awful smell. He could also make out the faint sound of paws on stone coming from the mine so he definitely knew it was occupied by the dogs. Ugh, don’t be fooled you moron, allow me to assist. He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his ears and was able to hear not just dog paws but also hooves and claws. He felt the pain fade and his hearing return to normal. :How did you do that?” Mask asked with a hint of irritation in in the question. He then heard the voice giggle and then speak. Its simple, I just use the wrath you harbor and manifest it into your ears and amplify the wrath to make them stronger, at the cost of causing them pain but hey, nothing's free, She spoke as if it was like addition causing Mask to grow more irritated but just let out a huff and made his way into the mouth of the cave. He looked down the large cave that lead underground into a torch lit tunnel. He took a deep breath of fresh air and delved into it, his mask on the top of his head. My Gods… … Mask thought it would be easy, just sneak in and find the parents that he saw on the picture that were hung on Babs’s wall and get them out. He was lucky that the dogs wrote in the same language as he just followed the signs that lead to the prison. Sadly for him, he was too cocky from his fights in the arena and thought he would just find them with ease. What he forgot was that this was not the Arena and everything wouldn’t be handed to him for just accomplishing something. He thought he would find them and he did, they were right in front of him. Both bloody, both starving and both naked and both had large holes on their hips where their marks should have been. The marks were hanging on top of the cell, a single orange on a patch of light orange skin and three orange slices on a very pale piece of skin. They both also seemed to have a very light aura around them but Mask barely noticed it. He walked over to the two ponies and gently touched the stallion. Slowly the stallions eyes opened and they both looked at Mask with no fear, or recognition, just...acceptance. He then spoke in a voice that should only come from one who is dead, “Hello Death...here to claim our...souls I take...it?” He asked and Mask was taken aback. He then spoke in a calm voice, “No...I’m here to rescue y-” He was interrupted by the stallion laughing, but it held no mirth. “Please my...dear boy...me and my wife are...far from saving...but if you could...do a dying stallion...a favour…” Mask reached a hand out and wrapped it around the stallions and nodded. “Just...tell me about...yourself.” Mask would have questioned the stallion but just went along with it, “My name...is Nicholas but...now its Mask. I’m a 13 year old human boy....” Mask went on about whatever came to his mind and he saw the stallion with his eyes closed and a small smile on his lips. “You are a….strange child Nicholas...now can you do me two...more favours?” The stallion asked and his voice sounded desperate. “Of course.” The stallion opened his eyes and looked at him with pleading eyes and spoke with as much life as he could muster, “Watch over our daughter and...end me and...my wife…of this suffering.” Nicholas felt his eyes widen and he looked at the stallion in shock and was about to decline but then he heard the voices again, Do Nicholas, you can’t save them. They are too close to death, don’t leave them to these dogs. 'B-But I ca-' Just do it you weakling! 'I…' Put the mask on and I’ll help you. Mask looked at the stallion who was looking up at him with pleading eyes. “I know you are young...but we can’t...take much more...of this.” He sounded like he was about to cry. “Please Nicholas…don’t let me and...my wife suffer…” Mask looked down at the stallion with a misty eye, then he slowly grew stoic and slowly reached for the mask and slipped it on to his face. He could feel the mask weld onto his face and steam slowly rolled from his face and the mask muffled his screams of pain. Then he went silent and a red and black aura slowly floated out of the crack in the mask. Yes~ War looked down at the stallion with a glowing red dot in his non-cracked eye socket. He let out a small laugh and his hands slowly glowed red until they both burst into flames. The stallion watched in horror at the once innocent looking child that now looked like a demon. Then he remembered he had entrusted his daughter with it. Regret filled his stomach but he couldn’t even speak before War blasted to large torrent of flames at the two ponies. The stallion screamed in agony while the mare roasted in silence and he soon joined her as they both burnt more and more. War finally stopped the assault of flames and the entire cell’s temperature had risen and where two ponies once lied was nothing but ashes. “I am going to enjoy this freedom as long as I can.” The teeth parted to let out a female’s voice. She then walked out of the cell and to the door that led to the prison before turning around and looking at all the doors, each hold prisoners. She gave a little giggle before blasting flames down the hall, burning doors and letting the flames into the cells. She could hear the sounds of guards running towards her location and let out a sad sigh before rushing towards the exit. When she turned a tunnel though she was met with a large griffon with steel armour covering its whole body. “You will be an easy kill little mutant pony.” War just gave a crazed cackle. “What is so funny weakling?” The griffin growled and War just smirked, the mask doing the same. “Its just you plan to fight me with metal covering your whole body, allow me to show you your mistake.” She spoke with mirth and the masks teeth parted and a blast of red flames spewed out and on to the griffon. The griffon squawked in pain as the metal welded onto his flesh and his brain tried to process the pain but instead just shut down from the heat. He died with metal fused with his skin and feathers. The teeth on the mask snapped shut and War let out a roar of victory. She then walked over the body and up the tunnel. As she walked she contemplated on whether or not just killing the whole pack. “Oh who am I kidding? I’m a deity, so why not!” She gave a mad laugh and looked down the cave. Slowly the aura in the crack started to flow quicker and the teeth slowly leaked a black gas. "Let’s see if I can suffocate all of these creatures in one go” She then opened her mouth and a torrent of black smoke shot down the tunnel and the moment it came in contact with with a dog, it shot down his throat and into its lungs. The dog slowly suffocated until it was dead but instead of falling, the smoke filled it’s whole body and forced it to explode. The smoke kept on coming until the whole cave was filled with smoke and no corpses were inside, just smears of blood and guts. Finally War snapped her mouth shut and could feel the deaths from inside and she relished in the death. She then slowly slipped out of the body and into the mask, causing Mask to take back control. He quickly pulled the mask off and gasped for air and glared down at the mask. “Why...why did you do that!” He screamed and the mask grinned at him and opened it’s mouth and the female’s voice spoke, "Why, I just did you a favor! You love to kill don’t you?” He could feel his rage about to boil over but suddenly he felt his rage flow into a void. He then smiled at the mask and chuckled. “You're right, thanks Thorn.” He put the mask back on his head and headed back for Babs’s house. Meanwhile inside of the mask stood two figures. One had pale skin with nothing but a small bikini that barely held her large bust. She had hair that flowed like fire and had a figure of a seductress and red flames licked at the side of her lips. The other figure was dressed with actual clothes, a blue robe that went to her feet and hair that flowed like lava but was a light blue and blue flames licked from her sides of her mouth.. They both had pure black eyes with one having a blue dot as a pupil and the other a red. “You fool!” The robe wearing mare screamed, “You almost caused him to break the mask! If I hadn't drained his rage me and you would be dead!” The blue flames grew larger as her anger grew. The seductress just rolled her eye and crossed her arms under her chest and spoke with a more demonic voice and her teeth flashed, her teeth being just like the masks. “Oh calm down Rose, I had it all under control and besides,” She held her hands and a miniature sun formed in her hands, “We are deity’s! Why should we serve this weakling?” She made the sun vanish with a snap of her fingers. “Because Thorn, he is the only one who has a chance of releasing us from this damned mask! Think of it, if he can free us we can see Father and he is the one who gave this mask to him and Father’s plans always work.” Thorn seemed to grow somber and sighed, a puff of black smoke leaking. “I know but...I am the goddess of destruction! Equestria has barely enough destruction to keep me alive!” She seemed to grow angrier as she spoke. “You are the damned goddess of life! You are always being powered while I grow weak!” “Thorn…” Rose sighed and walked over to her sister and wrapped her arms around her and pulled her into a hug, “Never think of yourself as weak, you are destruction and this child's mind is full of wrath and he will cause destruction, trust me.” Thorn gave a sigh and hugged her sister back. “You're right...sorry sister.” They then let go of each other and sat down and both closed their eyes and watched through Mask’s eye and watched as he walked towards the orange farm and waited. “Soon sister, we will be free of this accursed mask.” Rose spoke. “I know sister, I know.” Thorn nodded.
